We wandered into Bucktown Tap and we are delighted that we did!! The spectacular food was only by the wonderful and friendly service! Make SURE to try the brussels sprouts appetizer. It is amazing. We tried three different types of burgers, and then spend a half hour arguing about whose was better. After a close though, the peanut butter and jalapeño jelly burger won!! Only 20 minutes from South Bend and Notre Dame. This is definitely worth the drive.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place two years ago and we are hooked. We drive more than a half hour just to have lunch or dinner at Bucktown Tap. The service is always great and the food is delicious. They have a way of making something as simple as a BLT phenomenal. I encourage everyone to give this place a shot!

Stopped at Bucktown Tap Saturday night and our food was amazing! I had the Tuscan chicken sandwich with roasted brussel sprouts. My favorite! The cook there is awesome. Service was great. Love supporting local businesses!

First off I am VERY stingy with 5 stars. We were in the mood for a hamburger. Yeah! Try finding a great hamburger in Buchanan, MI. Well we did. Right here at Bucktown Tap. I thought we died & went to heaven. The Bourbon Mushroom Burger, cooked medium, was probably the best burger we have ever had. So juicy and the flavors. Wow. With it was home made chips. Amazing. We also had beacon wrapped jalapeños. The service was excellent, staff very friendly and the store was very clean. Just wow! We would do this again.

We LOVE the food - we order something different each time and it's ALL GREAT, from exceptionally high quality burgers and Reubens to wonderful salads and housemade chips. Plus, monthly beer specials for $2!!! Low-key, understated - a nice option when you don't want hubbub.

Pub Food Perfection! Great friendy service, maybe the best burger ever. Extremely fresh ingredients! So good I decided to try the wings too! A whole menu of superior regional craft brews. I am a HAPPY man!!!

Bucktown Tap is a winner and I'll definitely be back. I live in Chicago and spend some time in Michigan. It's a little bit of Chicago brought to a quaint small town. Started out with the Scotch Eggs, what a treat. Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers followed. Also had the Bennie burger which is topped with an egg and was recommended by the friendly bartender. Also a winner. Ambience was great. It's an upscale bar with a good beer and wine selection (spirits also), with good food, good service, and reasonable prices for what you experience. Very nice place with an unpretentious vibe. I'll be back.

Good bar, and bartenders, but it's too bright inside. They should dim the lights for better mood!

If your within 100 miles, this is a place to stop in. We had the best Hamburger we've had in a long time. Great beers on tap, friendly staff.

Just went for first time, we liked it. I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich, wife had the grilled chicken breast sandwich. Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers were hot and awesome! Plenty of beer on tap as well, but still a nice, small town place. We will be back

Went here due to winning a gift cert. from a local radio station, so went into this place thinking, "Great, smokey bar with greasy fried food." WOW! Was I ever surprised. The atmosphere was laid back, but classy, almost hipster and the food was great. Better than great, astounding. I will definitely be back. Another bonus was local brewed beer and spirits. We also happened on a damn decent band.

Great new restaurant/pub in Buchanan. Stopped in this past Friday (a week after their opening) and they are really clicking well. My wife and I started off with the Vegetarian Scotch Eggs and they were both creative and delicious. I've never had a veggie version of it, but it was hearty and stuck to your bones, and went great with my Founder's Centennial IPA. Also, at $5 for 3 large eggs, it was a great deal. We had the Black Bean Burger Patty - and it was homemade and a great patty. The server had no problems adding the black bean burger to the different burger options. As vegetarians, we always love a good homemade black bean patty and this one didn't disappoint. We had the sweet potato tots and the regular fries for our sides and both were good. I couldn't believe that a restaurant that had only been open for a week was operating so smoothly (and with a full house, to boot). Buchanan has added yet another hip, sleek, venue for locals and visitors to enjoy. Can't wait to see what these guys have in store over the coming months.

Great menu with some unique items on there. Love the jalapeño poppers and mushroom appetizers. Sandwiches are fantastic and also love the waffle fries. Beer menu is fantastic. Great ambience and really fun when live music is playing. Very nice patio in the back of the restaurant.

Pretty cool place. The tasty menu is reasonably priced and the drinks flow well. The proprietors were hospitable and attentive. I'm sure I'll be returning as both the restaurant and immediate vicinity were inviting.

I'm sorry but we weren't impressed. Their menu is expensive for what you get. I live in Chicago. Ill pay extra from time to time for very good food. We had the jalapeno popper appetizer. Paid $8.50 for 4 small shriveled halves stuffed n wrapped with bacon. Didn't taste filling, only bacon and the jalapeno. Way too expensive for the serving. The stuffed mushrooms were good but again $8.50 for 4 mushrooms. Ridiculous. There are only 3 burgers on menu one of which is a bean burger so if you're a meat eater you have 2 to choose from. Boyfriend had the buck burger and said it was mediocre. I had the pulled pork bahn mi. I've had this at a true Vietnamese restaurant in Chicago and they're delicious if made right. All I tasted on this was the jalapeno and it had some hard chunks of meat in it. The one star is for the bar. Tap beer is good and not too expensive.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the scotch egg and the bean burger. The bean burger was one of the best I've had - very fresh. The scotch egg was creamy and nicely spiced. Will be back!
