Small bar with not much seating. But I can't really complain. My cousin works here and I get the hook up. Always a reserved table and heavy poured drinks for a great price. The bar is definitely Birmingham style, everyone is dressed to impressed, has a lot of cash to throw out, and definitely a little pretentious. I like coming to B-Ham because I enjoy a good looking crowd that likes to get thoroughly hammered. This is a great bar doesn't get really busy until about midnight. And the dance floor is small, but usually jammed packed. So if you want to meet people and hangout this is a good place to swing by to.

I like this place, its small and has a dress code which is something I appreciate

Walked in and immediately walked out!!!! Crowded with trashy and rude people!!

Truly a hit-or-a-miss after-hours venue. As the only true nightclub in Downtown Birmingham, The Corner Bar is typically packed by midnight most Fridays and Saturdays. An excellent drink selection paired with attentive bartenders, this eclectic hangout is not for the causal people-watcher. Great pick-up spot.

Definitely not an upscale environment, (check the trolls review). I will not be back.

I will never go back! I left an $8 tip, yet my bank statement shows they changed their tip to $30! Ridiculous and way overpriced.

The Corner Bar is located in the Townsend and you can park right across at the structure, which is very convenient. My friends and I went just to get drinks and dance a little; they have a teeny dance floor which served our purposed quite well. The music was fun and accessible (with the music video playing on a screen above, which I tend to find a bit distracting), the crowd was just fine, there was no drama and we had a great time. It did get crowded when we left after midnight, but it was not a problem. I read the comments about bridge-and-tunnel, and I find that comment was mean-spirited in addition to being untrue (and I'm a former Manhattan-er). I would come again!

Came here last night for dancing purposes only. I did not enjoy the scene here nor the DJ. The drinks were overpriced and the crowd was less than desirable. The DJ played, played out music with a faster tempo. Nothing creative. The waitress was rude . The people were boring. I much rather go to Royal Oak or Ferndale for my dancing nights. The people are much more fun and I love the DJ on Saturday nights at Goodnight Gracies. I like being around a crowd who is actually having fun, not pretending to have fun. You see Birmingham clubs try to play this game of "oh we only cater to the rich and famous crowd. we dont have time for you pee-ons, but i guess we will let you in", even though ALL of there clientele are just people from surrounding areas. The people who go to these clubs obviously fall for this bit which again, is usually a boring crowd who does not "get it". bleh. As we use to call these people in San Francisco...."the bridge and tunnelers". lol. Glad i tried it but I wont be back.

If you get tired of east side trashy, come here for a taste of west side trashy.

Came here on the weekend of Thanksgiving and we were not happy to see a line outside. Luckily the line moved fast (it better be because it was freezing there!!) but I couldn't believe how small the interior is despite the big name hanging at the front of the building corner. So I guess it is called the Corner for a reason because there isn't much there except the corner. Good drink but pricey. Great music but small-ass dance floor. Beautiful crowd but ugly coat-check area (well there isn't really a coat check, just a place to hang your coat). There you have it.

Yeah, I think trashy covers it. My friend and I laughed when the doorman told us the cover and turned around to leave. Someone behind us offered to pay our cover, and we accepted. This place does not belong in Birmingham. The drinks are ridiculously expensive, but strong. There isn't much that the management can do to improve this place. It's not so much the club itself- more like the clientele.

Every wednesday they have a DJ, that play's really good music. The crowd is older which is nice...no kids running around. Drinks are strong and very good!
