I have a feeling that the best thing about this place is its late night hours, and nicely renovated interior. A lot of people really seem to love their marble countertops, but I am pretty sure that I don't really care too much about the interior of a takeout joint. That said, they have a serious pizza operation going on there, and that's pretty cool. It's connected to a kind of liquor/grocery store, so you can grab several different kinds of pop or wine or beer to go with your pizza, which is fun. Of course, the main draw is the pizza itself, and that's where I have issues. The photography both on this site and their own makes Primo's pizza look, well, primo. But for my money - and money is the key word here, this is not necessarily cheap pizza, but it sure tastes like it. I suppose if you like thin crusts that get harder than your average cracker quick, then there you go. Personally, I like my crusts a bit thicker and I like a denser layer of toppings than Primo's is apparently willing to put down. I might stop in to grab a beverage or something, and maybe on a late night it might be a snack savior, but as a go-to pizza place there are better restaurants within a mile of Primo's for as much or less. Get your money's worth, eat somewhere else.

nom nom nom... Primo's makes the best slices! I love the square pieces... always ready and fresh. I get pizza here all the time. Oh, eating a slice from here brings me back to the (good) days of high school... walking down from the school with my friends to get lunch. I think the people that work here recognize me, but I guess that isn't too weird. The business has been re-vamped and looks much fancier and more fitting for the Bham area. The wine and beer selection is good- pizza and booze is always a sweet combo. Open late so you can handle those late night cravings.

I think this is the best carry out pizza in the area. They make a great thin crust and if you add jalapeno peppers it's a little bit of heaven(or hell). They have been here for years. Always great and they sell beer and wine. This is only a carry out spot.

Doesn't deserve even 1 star. The customer service is disgusting!! We had coupons on our phone they wouldn't let us use , it's 2015. Poor poor poor customer service!

    (1)
  • Steven L.

Better option than the chains but there are better choices out there. Especially for the price. $32 for a large three topping pizza and an order of wings. Not for us again.

  • Hank M.

Non mobile friendly website, was the first bad sign. it's 2015, keep your decor, your pizza recipes, your family style rude attitude in the 70s, but just make it easy for customers to be able to view your info on any device. Specials? Oh no, its not a jets pizza, which is fine primo pizza, primo pricing, but the guy was holding in his laugh when I asked if they had any specials. They did have a coupon though, but you got to "print" it out and show it, guarded like I was trying to redeem a free iPhone, when I showed her the coupon on my phone, ( didn't honor it BTW ) I might have been saving like 5 bucks at most, seriously. The cashier experience felt like the DMV. The pizza was good, similar to an alibi, or Franco's in centerline.

No matter what time it is Primos is willing to accommodate any order I have even at 1:45 am... The quality of food is great for a fast food type delivery I am always happy with the entree I receive. I would highly recommend trying if you have not

    (5)
  • Suzanne S.

The ONLY good thing is they deliver late - had the fish and chips good luck finding the fish - dried out cod - crappy Kraft tartar sauce and the problem is they don't give a shit

Having reviewed this place almost a year ago and now with a few more visits under my belt I feel fair in saying that the pizza just isn't as good as it was a year earlier. The pizza I had last night was underdone leaving the pepperoni par cooked and the pie itself had hardly any sauce on it, which is a bummer because their sauce is one of my favorites. The cheesy bread was very cheesy but again underdone. I did really like their chicken strips but they didn't pack my dipping sauce with them. All that said if I were to order here in future I'd be checking my order and asking for extra sauce and well done pies.

Three words: Fresh, Corner, Slice. Side car Faygo Rock & Rye (Red Pop also acceptable). Surprisingly, reading some of the previous reviews, Primo's isn't for everyone. There's only one way to know which side you're on, get a hot corner slice. Full pies are also tasty. If you're not into the deep crust, hit up a round.

    (5)
  • T M.

Best pizza in town I usually just get the classic pepperoni and cheese cooked well done can't go wrong with that

  • Ted D.

love their deep dish square pie. my go-to cheesewheel factory.

Primo's Pizza is tucked away on a quiet part of Adams road, with a small parking lot in front. It boasts really tasty pizza and a full array of convenience store items, including a hefty selection of beers and wines. If you're in the area for lunch and are spontaneously craving a slice of pizza, Primo's is the place to stop at. They have ready cheese or pepperoni slices, usually corner pieces, circulating in a mini heated carousel. They're also open late, and are willing to deliver to nearby locations. All in all, the beer selection, the quality of the pizza, and the customer service have led this place to remain a staple in Birmingham.

Had pepperoni pizza to go for $2/slice and it was a bit greasy, but it's ok. Sometimes grease can cure a bad day, and I had a pretty rough Friday. The pizza slice didn't WOW me in any way but one slice was surprisingly filling. I could only eat 1 1/2 slices. Pizza There was more cheese than sauce and in fact, it reminded me a lot of little caesars with a jets pizza style cut. I did appreciate the dough. It wasn't too crispy or chewy. It was just right, but again it was saturated with grease, so I had to dab it a few times with a paper towel. The pizza was tasty and did its job. :)

  • Dylan N.

Great thin crust pizza and a very tasty meatball sub. Fast , courteous. Yeah maybe they're sites not mobile friendly. Who cares ! Call em get food, it's that easy. Oh and if you're ordering fish n chips from a pizza ,sub, convenience store, then I don't know what to tell ya.

  • TJ R.

Had this pizza for the first time last night, it was awesome. Very fresh, not greasy. We had the square pepperoni and a cheese bread. They are open late, which was great because I got awesome pizza and service at about 1230am. The women at the counter was very friendly, I will for sure be going back, one of my new favorite pizza spots.

  • Laura G.

Primo's is great. Great pizza, great salad, great bread. A little on the pricey side, but it's worth it (plus they always have coupons)!

My family loved Primos and my husband would stop quite often for slices during lunch. Quite upsetting that we will no longer frequent Primos. My husband stopped for his slice for lunch and the person at the register took his $2 and some change, then proceeded to pick up the slice with his dirty hands and wrapped it in foil. Very disappointing and disgusting to pick up food that someone intends to eat and an employee picked up with his bare hands. Needless to say lunch was ruined and money down the drain.

    (1)
  • Katelyn G.

Great variety of wines which is always great. The pizza is great and who doesn't love the individual slices for lunch? Great employees, many have been working there for years so they definitely recognize and acknowledge the regulars!

  • Caroline K.

My hubby and I go to Primo's Pizza for our pizza cravings whenever we are home and staying in. The food at Primos is deliciously pleasant but the customer service (based only on the person who answers the phone, which apparently others are complaining about, rightly so) is blatantly rude (Who are you? Please be a bit nicer). So, the enjoyment of our food drops a couple of notches and instead you are hoping the food will be divine to make up for it. However, when your mood gets unnecessarily stepped on, it just goes downhill from there. He did forget to add mushrooms to the pizza; the fresh ones. I expected something to go wrong as he kept trying to hang up every 2 seconds when I was still trying to order. I understand it's only pizza, but has customer service really dropped so low? SIDE NOTE: The delivery guy was nice and the food was good, so I won't score the food any less just because a "grinch" works there... "You are serving a customer, not a life sentence. Learn how to enjoy your work." -Laurie McIntosh

  • Libby T.

Cheap, cheezy goodness. Slices are seemingly better than Oak Park counterpart. Full squares are divine.

    (4)
  • Carolyn R.

Great Pizza and wide selection of beer, wine and beverages. The staff knows most of their regular customers which makes it fun when you go in. It is definitely a neighborhood kind of place. I love to ride my bike there in the summer and enjoy the lively conversation. They have a good selection of ice cream too! All my vices in one place.

    (4)
  • Kristoffer D.

While Primo's has been around a long time, and their pizza is top notch, I have found the counter staff less than friendly when it was clear I was there to pick up a couple of slices rather than a full pizza. Never mind that when Shore mortgage was just down the street, I was a customer DAILY, small though my order was. They seem to TRY to treat me like rabble. I dunno if the it's just a matter of day staff and night staff having different attitudes towards the customers, but the number of times my order has bagged upside down (so the cheese sticks to the foil they wrap it in,) or that I got no corner piece (despite ordering multiple slices,) seems less than coincidental. Which is a shame, because A) repeat business is your bread and butter as a small business and B) I like the pizza and their well stocked beer cooler. Maybe the "help" isn't welcome there at the polite dinner hour. (Luckily, Jet's is there for me as a single man who hates to cook, when I don't want to be judged for my order.)

    (2)
  • Arturo F.

I have been eating this pizza for as long as I remember: pickup, delivery, slice in the store, whatever. This is probably the best, real deal American pizza around. If you want a pizza that isn't wacky, I don't think they have tandoori pizza for example, this is the place to get it. Great pizza and pizza food. Great employees, and a great shop if you can make it in.

    (5)
  • Adam H.

Good pizza, the garlic bread was great. Really convenient that it's a party store as well.

    (4)
  • John K.

The pizza is good/OK.....my wife calls it "seriously mediocre" but it is square! fresh! hot! close by! open late!, and sells BEER! The staff is really nice and even the ex cons slingin the pies have a nice word or two. You can't lose with Primo's, place is great. (Well, it does seem to be a phat hangout for teenage geeks during the summer nights, but just push them aside as you glide in for yer carryout=)

    (4)
  • Terry K.

Hand's down the best round pizza in Metro Detroit. Decadent, chewy crust and the pizza is so good, it doesn't even need toppings. Great hours and the long term employees make it a pleasure to be a customer. Very nice selection of craft beers and wines too. Primo's is easily my #1 go to place for carry out pizza in the area and I've tried them all many times over.

    (5)
  • Kristin Z.

Oh sadness...the first few times I had their pizza when I wrote this review it was AMAZING. I didn't want to give up hope! I had it four more times and it was doughy and not crispy. I had to come home and put it in a frying pan to get it crispy. The cheese was barely melted :( Back to Jets I go...where the crust is always crispy! (light sauce-perfect) Sorry Primos, it's time for us to go our separate ways. So sad.

    (2)
  • Amby M.

Primo's has definitely spoiled me for all other pizzas!!!! Just thinking about it right now is making my mouth waterl! Knocked off a star since they are a little on the pricey side, but they're constantly sending out coupons (although the value on those just went down a tiny bit). With a coupon, the price is just right, and you can't go wrong with their square pizza!!!

    (4)
  • Brandon R.

Primo's is the BOMB. Love the pizza here, although it is definitely unique and you may have friends that don't. They have a decent beer and wine selection, definitely the best I have ever seen at a pizza joint. The breadsticks here are AAAMAZING! Salads I'd pass on next time. Great service and the have a continuous stream of good coupons. Living down the street from them is a major perk and they have a customer for life...well as long as I'm in the area.

    (4)
  • E K.

Great pizza and store. Also they will deliver smokes to you're house which is nice. Inside great selection of beer and wine. Really great management and service have been their hundreds of times.

    (5)
  • Jonathan S.

Cool spot that is the "hidden gem" of Birmingham. I think that most people really like the pizza by the slice, which are ok. They sit wrapped in foil on a small warming tray so they end up soggy, which is not what you want out of a Detroit Square Pizza. The pizza is fair, but not as good as the Buddy's pick up store down the street. Stick to the round and you'll be ok. Great wine and beer selection which takes up 50% of their footprint. Overall high quality place that you would never expect in the area. Worth a stop if you are close by, but not a trip out.

    (4)
  • Heidi S.

This is in my top five pizza places (which recently went to a top 4 list after a horrific experience at another one of my old long time favorites) so good, a little pricy but worth it.

    (5)
  • Libby F.

I have to say I am a fan for sentimental reasons. I used to get pizza from here all the time back in my high school days. I don't remember the convenience store section. Back then it was all about the pizza. I've mistakenly thought this place was closed because of the darkened windows out front. Its actually been remodeled and doesn't resemble the grungy liquor store/carry out pizza place of the past. It is bright and clean on the inside. They've got a great selection of wines - many under $10.00. Their pizza is good, but not outstanding. However, they rank in the top five for pizza in their price point. We ordered a large 2 topping pizza for only $10 (with a coupon, of course!). It sated my pizza pining perfectly.

    (4)
  • Brendan N.

Best pizza in Metro Detroit. YES, it is better than Buddy's. However it is completely different. Go for the regular, round crust. It's thin, almost New York style but hasn't changed in the 20 years I've been going there. Tad on the expensive side, bring a coupon. Other than that, it's a no brainer.

    (5)
  • Becky K.

Went there twice for fish and chips. While the food was good, both times they shorted on the amount so I will not be going back. I want my monies worth.

We used to buy pizza @ Primo's a couple times per month. We stopped. We stopped because their already high price was made still higher by their substitution policy of not considering "cheese" an "item". We order our pizza's without cheese (don't laugh until you've tried them when made well, healthier too) -- cheese is the most expensive ingredient on a pizza so most shops gladly swap a topping for cheese at no extra cost. But not Primo's they charge for the swapped topping while *also* charging for the cheese they are *not* providing! No more Primo's for us! Thankfully there are lots of high quality alternatives to Primo's in the Birmingham area.

  • Amy P.

If I can say one thing about this place, it's their hours. For those of us that work late or don't get home until late evening and realize there is nothing to eat, their hours are awesome, and they deliver pretty far too! Couple that with a good pie and we have a winner. I live their pepperoni and the way it crisps up on the pizza. Had the ribs and they are good as well. The food and pizza is 3 stars but the convenience and speedy delivery definitely bumps them up to a 4. I will always order delivery from them (and you can get stuff from their store delivered too, like milk along with your pizza!)

    (4)
  • Jonathan M.

This is the most unremarkable pizza I've ever had; to clarify I mean that there is nothing noteworthy you can say about it other than it's completely average, i.e. there is nothing that stands out. it's not bad, it's not good, It's not bland, but it's not flavorful either. This pizza is the most middle of the road I've ever had. It's better than bad pizza, but at the same time i'ts worse than great pizza. Nothing to love about, but nothing to hate either. It's just pizza.

    (3)
  • Nina C.

Best pizza hands down in Oakland county!!!

    (5)
  • Tom A.

We live in America and I'd be damned if everyone here doesn't love their god-given right to live absurdly close to a pizza joint. I know I do! Why? Because Primo's is the place right down the street from me. The pie is fantastic, the refrigerators are filled with craft beer (and the usual Americana swill for when it's Miller time). The best part is they're open late on the weekends. Want a pie at 1am on a Friday? You got it. I'm 99.9% certain there is nowhere else (and absolutely nowhere better) to get a pizza in Birmingham at that hour. Maybe I'll see you there! I'll be the guy with a slice in one hand and waving the American flag in the other, with a tear rolling down his cheek because the whole thing is that beautiful.

    (5)
  • Jeff K.

Simply the best pizza in the Bham area. Pizza is available in round or square. I recommend both...totally different flavors. The round is thin and more NYC style where the square is thick and robust. The key to their pizza has long been thought to be the pans. Primos has been around a long time and I think the pans may be close to original...makes for a great crust! Lastly, they are open late and serve a beefy slice for $1.50. Worth the 1:45 am drive by on the way home for sure. Oh, and hit their web site before you order...they have coupons.

    (5)
  • Bob M.

The pizza is above average. Part of my review reflects the fact that their hours and location are very accommodating. If you have a coupon, this is a go-to late night locale. The fact that they have a mini grocery store attached is also a plus for those late night ice cream runs.

    (4)
  • Rod M.

Got take out pizza because we didn't want to cook so we ordered some pizza-Hawaiian: pineapple with bacon and Canadian bacon, and the standard pepperoni. Both were much better than average pizza. This is the first time I had bacon on a Hawaiian pizza. Eh, it really didn't make it better, could have done without it....yeah, I know you bacon lovers are screaming, reading this. I'd order take out pizza again from here.

  • Jeannie K.

Primos is a Birmingham staple. I've been eating their pizza since I was a kid. High quality ingredients make this pizza the best in the area. Amazing hours and convenient location. They have really good chicken fingers and ranch, too! Fast and fresh delivery. Can't use coupons on delivery, though.

    (5)
  • Thomas M.

    - Excellent pizza... deep dish, round, whatever. All the toppings are delicious as well! This is the best pizza place in Birmingham hands down. It's greasy in that good way! Never had a pie I didn't love! -Speedy service... always on time and right! They

I usually grab a slice of pizza rather than ordering a whole one, but their slices are amazing and fresh. Staff is super friendly and know the regulars by name. I can always find my favorite wine here. Just a great, convienet little place!

I just moved into the neighborhood and live on Hazel. I was really looking forward to trying Primo's. I thought, "Gosh, it will be nice to have a locally owned, tasty pizza joint right around the corner." I popped in on Sunday, August 7th. I was with my mom and husband, looking for a place to have lunch. We didn't know if it was a sit-down or pick-up place. The owner said literally, "Welcome to the neighborhood." And he handed me some coupons. Today, August 11, 2011 I walked in to order 3 X-Large pizzas to feed the crew of landscapers working on my home. I explained to the owner I'd just been in on Sunday, but didn't have my coupons with me that day and that I'd really appreciate it if he'd honor a coupon price. (I just dropped $11K treating carpenter ants on my new house.) He was totally unsympathetic. He said he "only gives coupons to his SPECIAL customers and they MUST have the coupon." He reminded me of the soup nazi on Seinfeld. For 3 x-large (12 slice) pizzas and 5 drinks the total was $65. While the pizza was good, I will not go back b/c the guy who took my order was unfriendly.

  • Karl L.

Both thin and thick crust is great! Always a great pizza. Primo's party store has been there for many years. No seating, takeout only.

    (4)
  • Melissa J.

By far the best pizza in the Birmingham area. It's in a party/convenience store..clean, granite countertops, nice variety of wine. My daughter isn't a pizza lover so always had to fight with her to get pizza...until she happened upon their burgers and greek salad...she loves both from there

    (4)
  • Matthew M.

What can I say about Primos Pizza that hasn't already been said? This place has great pizza that always tastes fresh and great and never disappoints. The slices are cheap and you are almost guaranteed a corner slice if you get more than 2. The best thing about Primos though is the atmosphere of the place. In an area like Birmingham, Primos is that rare independent eatery that sticks out like a sore thumb which makes it even better. It could very well become a local landmark like Hunter House.

    (5)
  • John B.

Grabbed a Pizza and headed to the park with the kids. Not sure what the fuss is about. Rather have Alibi Pizza. It's just ok.

A convenience store, Not really a restaurant. Pizza, cheap and good

  • Katie J.

This was the very first place I ever had food from when I moved to Birmingham. I can't believe I have never left a review before! I was all alone at my new house, stranded with no car, no food, and no furniture. All I had was my cell phone, Yelp and a credit card. I was new to the area so I used my Yelp app to see what was nearby so maybe I could walk or if not, have something delivered. Primo's was the first place I found and it sounded really good. Can't really go wrong with pizza right? So I call and order and explain, a little embarrassed, that I have no plates or silverware or anything. From the time I picked up the phone to the time I was sitting down and eating no more than 25 minutes could have passed. It was the quickest pizza delivery I have ever had. It was delicious and huge! Way too much for me alone. They even remembered to give me paper plates, cutlery and napkins. I was so pleased. And they were so friendly. What a wonderful first dining experience in Birmingham! :)

  • Xander S.

Great thin crust, not oily and high quality ingredients. I love the fact that it is open till 2am. I really can complain about the price, but its a higher end pizza place. Got a small thin crust cheese for 8 buck. This place really reminds me of New York.

    (5)
  • Dan L.

I like their pizza. either by the slice or whole. It does pay to use the coupons you get in the mail otherwise, they can be pricey compared to the others. with coupons, they are reasonable.

    (3)
  • Emi R.

Oh, Primo's ... I'm a high school student right up the street, so that means dollar slices. Paired with a 99¢ Arizona, you can guarantee that Primo's is pretty much my place. I've literally never ventured anywhere except the perimeter of the store to grab a drink or the front counter to get a slice, so I can't comment on the selection of anything else (honestly, I don't even know what else they have). However, their pizza is quite tasty, and, honestly, that's all you need to know. Oh, actually, you probably should know that it's very, VERY easy to back into the big yellow pole that holds up their sign. And it's very, VERY expensive to fix that.

    (5)
  • Jenn V.

I work down the street, and everyone I work with kept bringing in this FABULOUS looking (and smelling pizza). Finally one day I asked where it was from, and they looked at me like I had horns growing out of my head. Luckily, they shared their secret, and I am hooked. So tasty, and so cheap! I would marry their pizza if it was legal.

  • Alexandra K.

Talk about delicious pizza! My friend and I spent a good half hour searching for the famous Primo's Pizza in Birmingham. I was hesitant because it's situated in an up-scale (granite counters and cute coolers) convenience store. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything about our pizza was perfect. It reminded me of the pizza that one can find in Manhattan. Not expensive either! One small and one large pizza fed 8 people (with more to spare!) for under $20.00.

  • Sarah M. B.

Pretty much fantastic sums this place up...only delivery place in Bham open till 2 on the weekends...they have actually delivered me cigarettes upon showing proper ID at the door...I am also sure they would pry deliver anything in the store but booze-althou they should! Pizza is the bomb...you will never get a bad one and slices that are always ready for when you are the way home from the bar-that is if you can safely drive. Staff making your food is a little sketchy looking, but one bite and you are over it. I also love it cuz this is NOT a place you have to order double cheese on the pizza to get enough of it! Deep dish is crunchy and fabulous and the rounds are nice and thin and New York like...excellent stuff going on here at a reasonable price!

  • Otis M.

A home town favorite, I have enjoyed Primo's pizza for over 30 years. They make two styles of pies, traditional round and deep dish square. Both are excellent, because Primo's dough and subsequent crust is tasty. They use fresh ingredients and actually care about the pizza. There are pizza makers working there that I have seen for 20 years. They are true artisans that take pride in their craft and the delicious end product shows it. The toughest decision that I have to make at Primo's is the answer to the first question... Round or Square.

    (5)
  • Maria M.

Talk about a jem! I originally thought I was going to a sit down place but turned out to be a connected to a liquor/quick mark. Don't let that fool you! They know pizza! They had such delicious pizza and seemed to have their regular's down pat as well. Great pizza, even if it's not the sit down place you were looking for.

  • Andy O.

Before they renovated (which by the way, bravo! Looks very nice!), the place looked like a party store out of the 80's. I was shocked after having had their pizza a couple of times that it came from this place. That said, this is my favorite pizza place in town. I know everyone loves Buddy's, I do as well, but Primo's is my family's go to spot. I've tried the Oak Park location as well, and while it was good, it wasn't as good as this one. Extra points for the lady who runs the front learning my name and grabbing my order just upon seeing me.

I wasn't blown away by this pizza--but it was fine. Made the mistake of trying it for the first time on a Friday evening--called the order in and had a longish wait in line (at least long for a pizza pickup). Would go back but not in any hurry.

    (3)
  • Marco P.

I am torn with this. The pizza is GREAT! And the star rating should be higher...However...The owner & counter help are rude and not nice. It's like they are doing you a favor for cooking a pizza for you. And you should be honored to have paid WAYYYY to much.

    (2)
  • marisa s.

some of the best square slices come from this joint! it's a total "joint" - open late for slices and delivers late as well - primo's is the "birminghamers" original square pizza. i grew up eating this and although the round is still good, the square is crusty and chewy without being too doughy and if you're lucky enough to snag a corner piece, you've got it made, it's the best slice in the pie! also, try the ribs and fries - they're a good option in addition to the pizza (be a total fat ass, who cares!?) dirty, divey and damn good!

    (4)
  • David C.

My favorite pizza place of all time! Best breadsticks ever! Really great pizza, made with fresh ingredients. My dad used to be a delivery driver, and was once jokingly held up at gun point. idk, but they make some great pizza and use their coupons...

after 24 hours of craving primo's $1.50 greasy goodness I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I got my piece that I deserved.. and wanted sooo badly. If you are one that blots the grease off your pizza... go to whole foods to get your pizza, this place is a liquor/convenience store/pizza joint. They are open late night too... just the way you like it.

Primo's Pizza of Birmingham, is really good. I would rank it as one of my top 3 pizza places in B'ham. They have a long list of food on the menu, all of it is good, and they are open late, I think until 2 or 3 am (with delivery). I stick with the Brooklyn style, you can't go wrong. They recently remodeled, there is a convenience store inside, which is nice because you can order your favorite drink with your food. Go here!

Doesn't deserve even 1 star. The customer service is disgusting!! We had coupons on our phone they wouldn't let us use , it's 2015. Poor poor poor customer service!

Better option than the chains but there are better choices out there. Especially for the price. $32 for a large three topping pizza and an order of wings. Not for us again.

Best pizza in town I usually just get the classic pepperoni and cheese cooked well done can't go wrong with that

I usually grab a slice of pizza rather than ordering a whole one, but their slices are amazing and fresh. Staff is super friendly and know the regulars by name. I can always find my favorite wine here. Just a great, convienet little place!

Great thin crust, not oily and high quality ingredients. I love the fact that it is open till 2am. I really can complain about the price, but its a higher end pizza place. Got a small thin crust cheese for 8 buck. This place really reminds me of New York.

I like their pizza. either by the slice or whole. It does pay to use the coupons you get in the mail otherwise, they can be pricey compared to the others. with coupons, they are reasonable.

By far the best pizza in the Birmingham area. It's in a party/convenience store..clean, granite countertops, nice variety of wine. My daughter isn't a pizza lover so always had to fight with her to get pizza...until she happened upon their burgers and greek salad...she loves both from there

A forty five minute search was rewarded, REWARDED, with two greasy slices of corner-y goodness. The pizza is made in-house and its very fresh [and very hot]. The pepperoni on top is tiny and so good, it was definitely the perfect end to an epic journey. get it.

I am torn with this. The pizza is GREAT! And the star rating should be higher...However...The owner & counter help are rude and not nice. It's like they are doing you a favor for cooking a pizza for you. And you should be honored to have paid WAYYYY to much.

I wasn't blown away by this pizza--but it was fine. Made the mistake of trying it for the first time on a Friday evening--called the order in and had a longish wait in line (at least long for a pizza pickup). Would go back but not in any hurry.

some of the best square slices come from this joint! it's a total "joint" - open late for slices and delivers late as well - primo's is the "birminghamers" original square pizza. i grew up eating this and although the round is still good, the square is crusty and chewy without being too doughy and if you're lucky enough to snag a corner piece, you've got it made, it's the best slice in the pie! also, try the ribs and fries - they're a good option in addition to the pizza (be a total fat ass, who cares!?) dirty, divey and damn good!

Great variety of wines which is always great. The pizza is great and who doesn't love the individual slices for lunch? Great employees, many have been working there for years so they definitely recognize and acknowledge the regulars!

So sad.

The pizza is above average. Part of my review reflects the fact that their hours and location are very accommodating. If you have a coupon, this is a go-to late night locale. The fact that they have a mini grocery store attached is also a plus for those late night ice cream runs.
