Good service I think the roast beef sandwich was very good but maybe just a little too much gravy, but overall nice friendly staff and food is quick, I would recommend for fast service good food at affordable prices, just off 94 at Belleville exit so it convenient and just off the freeway! Place is fairly clean but could use a bit more elbow grease on the seats and tables...2 big screen tv but no wifi, kind of a bummer if you have time I between jobs where you need it but other than that I'm happy!

The only reason it's getting 3 stars, is due to the food arriving quickly, fresh and was very good. However, the front of the house(wait staff) is why this reviewer is only giving 3 and that's being generous. The waitresses are more focused on their own conversations than tending to the very people who tip them. It wasn't until after I finished my breakfast that anyone came and offered me a second cup of coffee and water. As I sit here writing this, the staff is all of a sudden attentive. Hmmm can you say azz backwards...

The two things I have had here that are actually good are the takeout broasted chicken and the chicken kebob. The rest of it is meh as I recollect, it has been a minute since I ordered anything other than the aforementioned items. Why a one star? Service. Attitude. No, not on one occasion but more than once. I have gotten terrific takeout here and tipped for it. I have gotten shitty takeout attitude and have stopped tipping for it. My father once had to debate a particular hostess that the 20 piece chicken comes with two pints of coleslaw, not two sauce cups (like super small for even individual sized) full. Even pointing to it on the menu the woman kept insisting no it's the same thing. Clearly one is at least three times the size and clearly twenty pieces of chicken is not for two people and calls for coleslaw for at least five. My dad had to get a freaking manager involved. He is a regular for God's sake, he knows what size coleslaw he gets at least once a month. Tonight I swung in again, as I said the service here is awful with this one woman. She is unfriendly and treats you as if she'd rather lick a toilet seat than take your takeout order or ring you up. Of course it is this woman doing takeouts when I am hangry. The others all at least get your order right, some have been super star friendly. This chick must be the owner's wife, anyone else would be gone. We had called ahead, showed up early. Clearly my dad is struggling on a cane but she lets him stand and takes her sweet ass time taking care of the bill. We sit politely and wait as the meal finishes for us. She calls us up and my dad notices the small size of the box. Is this everything he asks. Are the potatoes inside the box he queried with a puzzled look. Yes is the response, it is all there. Said with a sarcastic bitchy ass tone. She talked down to him for God's sake so he shuffled off. The man is freaking seventy. I get it home and my mom is serving it up, ummmmm no potatoes. Lighting and rain going on I have to go back. She tells me she tried to call me back. Ummm well not on my cell, there is no call lady. I would have turned around instead of hiking back. Do I get a real sorry? Anything for my inconvenience? Nope. I get a bitchy sarcastic have a great night. She is getting my response via Yelp. Yeah guess we will be getting broasted chicken elsewhere. News flash, it is damn near the same everywhere else, you were just convenient. Your hostess/wife? is costing you more business than ours I guarantee it. I am just telling you why. Oh and I tried to complain to a manager. Guess what? She told me there is no manager and try back tomorrow morning. Nice. No wonder she feels she can treat people horribly. No one is holding her the least bit accountable and it will all be he said/she said.

Sign says Mike's Kitchen, everything else says Dimitri's Kitchen....so which is it? OK, it's Mike's now. Good name. Anyways, this place is the first place I've been to in many, many years where I was the youngest patron in the place. Seems to cater to the crowd of regulars mostly named Ray, Connie, Bill and Carol, you know, the Ed Sullivan / Bob Hope Generation. I noticed that most of these folks seat themselves, which means lots of regulars come here. The food was decent with the hash browns actually browned and the eggs cooked properly. Prices are more than fair. It was a pretty basic burn and turn level of service. Good place for your basic American style breakfast.

Quick service, friendly staff, lots of good food, great prices. What's not to like? Quirky down home diner feel.

Should be 2.5 stars, but having two items not right won't make me bump this up to 3. I went there earlyish Saturday morning, but since it's open 24 hours, time should not play a major role. I was happy to see a Gobbler on the menu. Three eggs, hash browns/grits, turkey sausage patties and toast. I ordered the eggs medium. They came pretty crisp on the edges, yet there was some uncooked white in it. I suspect the grill was too hot. The hash browns seemed more like mashed potatoes. More whipped than hashed. The sausages were just this side of burnt/hard. One slice of toast was heading toward hard, but it was because of it being so thin. I don't know what that white stuff on the toast was, but it wasn't butter or even margarine. It all tasted decent, though. There were not many customers, so it's not like the kitchen had to rush anything. I realize the quality of the food was not the best, but it could have been better prepared. Having said all that, the price was low enough not to cry about the food. Including coffee, it came to less than $7.50. Service was very good. i never had to wait long for anything. The place was pleasant enough, as well as clean. I don't believe I'll be back.

Good food, exactly how I ordered it and quickly received. Doesn't get much better

I've patronized this restaurant twice this month and I had the exact same experience both times when I ate here. They are a little too pricey for it to be a hole in the wall diner. The food is disgusting, i ordered chilly cheese fries and an angus burger the first time I ate here and the texture of the cheese on the chilly cheese fries was like paste. The burger was kind of hard when I ordered to be cook medium. I ordered breakfast the second time and my scrambled eggs had this dark tint to it in the center. My bacon had some nasty, weird, squishy pieces on top of the normal strips. My toast wasn't actually toasted, maybe they forgot to put my bread in the toaster or something lol!!! The service was horrible the second time I went. The waitress wanted to check out 4 other people before me and I was ahead of all of those people. I patiently waited until she checked the other people out when I actually should've left. The people that patronize this place are ignorant as well because of how inconsiderate they can be and the way they look at me when I enter the restaurant is irritating! I hate this restaurant!!!

Tonight a friend and I went in to have dinner around 6. The hostess was trying to check someone out whike we waited to be seated. After waiting for at least 10 minutes and nit getting a hello from her, she finally sat us at a table. While we were waiting for our waitress to come over and ask us what we wanted to drink, 3 other tables git seated & served drinks. That was all it took for us to get up and leave. I will be calling the owner in the morning and complaining about this. Don't go here if you want good service. You won't get it. If I could post without giving a star, I would.

Although I live in town, I only get to Mike's on some weekends for carry out breakfast. It is always packed. The lady at the register is consistently pleasant to me and gets my order right every time. The food is very good, the portions are good (not too big). The prices are very reasonable and they don't try to tack extra charges on your bill. The food is fresh and there's rarely a wait to get my order. It's consistently a good experience and I plan on going back again and again!

Went here after church on a Sunday. Although it was busy, we got a seat within a few minutes. We had a variety of foods, breakfast, lunch and dinner with salads and soup. All were good. Nothing was so delicious that I would rush back but everything was good and filling. No complaints. A good run of the mill diner!
