This is a chain restaurant with an extensive breakfast menu. They're open 24/7 and with breakfast anytime but stop serving soup at 10pm. They do have other things but it's really a breakfast place. Always clean inside and out, clean bathrooms. Godd place for the whole family from 1 year old to 100. This location is VERY hit and miss. It depends on who waits on you. Expierence1: I asked for cherry flavoring in my sprite and my ditzy waitress gave me a side cup of cherry pie filling. I thought possibly she was joking, but no. She was just dumb. Expierence2:I've had a waitress argue with me on how much of a tip I left. Which I left $4 after waiting 20 minute to order and the eggs were very under cooked. I was being generious. Expierence3:I had food poisoning from a wedding I had attended and was sick for a few days. I decided to have Denny's as one of my frist real meals after being sick. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich which was cooked only at the edges and completely slimey raw in the middle. I felt like throwing up right there. The only offer from the manager was that i did not have to pay for my sandwhich. Expierence4: The manager was yelling at a waitress for getting two of her tables mixed up. I understand she is a manager and needs to make sure things are being done correctly but she yelled at her infront of all the tables full of customers. "How dumb are you, you can't keep your tables straight either?!?!?" On the other hand... I have had many good expierences where my order was taken quickly and everything was cooked to order. I am a good tipper if things are atleast edible and somewhat quick. I've got things to go a few times... probably 4-5. They are always good. I will however eat here again and again because it's 1 of 2 24hr places near me home.

A Denny's in Detroit was our go to hang out place while growing up, but I don't often go unless I hit my head or something. I stopped in a couple of times with my SO recently because it was convenient. I took advantage of their "Build a Slam" and was pleased with the results. My SO's experience was slightly less so, but she like it all the same. The service was fine and we were well treated. The place was clean enough and the food well priced. Not too shabby of a place for breakfast.

My experience was terrible. First it takes 10 minutes to get seated, then another 10 just to get drinks. I should have known that was a bad sign. Then ordered our food which took 45 minutes to get there! Ridiculous! A group of 6 came in 20 minutes after U.S. And they got their food at the same time. The waitress was no help, just kept saying it would be out in a minute. I won't be going back there anytime soon.

First off, if I could rate this a zero, I would. This place was horrible!!! As a career server I am more patient and understanding than most customers. We came in for the first time on Christmas Day knowing itd be busy, and it was. We waited a few minutes to be seated (no problem), waited several more minutes (8-10) to be greeted by the server and have the beverage order taken, at the delivery of our beverages our food order was taken (a breakfast sandwich and an omelette). We waited. And waited. And waited. After about 25 minutes of having no attention from anyone, our server came out and let us know that the kitchen lost out ticket and would be making it now. She said "it'll be just a few minutes" she also offered us a chocolate milk "on the house". After another 25 minutes of no contact from anyone and still no food I got up and went to the cashier desk to find out what was going on. I explained that I understood it was very busy and it was a holiday and even thanked them for working. Not only could they not locate our server for several minutes, but no one could figure out what was or wasn't going on with our food. I sat back down to be followed over by our server who let us know the owner would be making our food "right now" and it would be "five or six minutes". At the six minute mark the food finally came out. The quality was abhorrent and other than an additional apology from the server, nothing was done about the horrible experience. The person I can only assume was an owner came by asking "everything okay?" To which we responded "no, not really" and elaborated on the whole experience (meanwhile shocked that she wasn't already well informed on the situation) Her response was, "yeah, they get real backed up In there. Nothin' I can do about it." Are you kidding me??????!?!!!!! No gesture of good will or any discount was offered to us. They had no accountability for the awful food or the terrible service. The attitude was basically "we know it's bad and we don't care" I have never felt so guilt free about not leaving a tip. We will not ever be going back and hope you don't waste your time either.

Just left there after 15 or 20 minutes waiting for a waitress to show up. Coffee was mediocre.

Pancakes tasted horrible like they were heated up in the microwave. Service is really slow.

Gross... It's been many years since I've been to Denny's and it's going to be many more before I go back. Denny's really defines the low end of the chain restaurant market. It's dingy, the food is bland, service it non existent, and it's cheap. These are not things that good eating is made of. Save what you would spend here and put it towards a real restaurant.
