Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Everything was pretty good, but the chips were so salty i could only take a few bites. Its a shame cause the toppings were great, but not worth my money to feel like crap. Please change this so i can possibly enjoy you're food some day......

My kids love to eat at Qdoba. They each love burritos. The burritos on the kids menu are naked which seems silly to me since kids love finger foods. Some other locations will wrap the kids bowl for you by request. Not this one. #dumb.

As far as Qdoba goes, the food is pretty much standard here compared to other locations. Unfortunately here the employees are not friendly and clearly have no interest in working there. It can be uncomfortable at times when ordering. Standard Qdoba food but strange employee vibe.

Pricey and stingy on the food. On the other hand the Tortilla Soup was out of this world!!

I am a big fan of Qdoba and ranks #1 in their fast-casual restaurant category. Fortunately for those who like adding extra add-ons to their meals, their prices are awesome! However, I stick to the basics, so with their new Free Extras campaign, I went from paying $7.09 to $8.27 for the same dish. With that being said, my first visit to the Free Extras Qdoba was still magnificent. Every item was fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed my naked chicken burrito. And I got an extra scoop of queso, just because I could. Good business strategy, hope it doesn't deter too many loyal customers.

Well mixed review for sure. The food A naked bowl with chorizo & marinated pork ,white/brown rice & all 6 salsas was GREAT! Truly it was! Adam made quite the work of art! The bride ordered the craft two: Chicken Quesadilla which was grilled & cooked to perfection And the mexican gumbo, which was way to hot over the top spicy, which Adam kindly swapped out for another chicken Quesadilla. So why 2 stars? 1. One guy on break watching the line grow , while another gal in the kitchen on the phone while the line grew 2. I do not think I have ever ate at a more filthy dirty dining room multiple straws-napkins-pop lids etc littered areas at the beverage area underneath tables & both trash cans were so full, that you could not place a 12 ounce cup in either one. it was 7 at night, not exactly rush hour? I guess Id expect a restaurant that borders great lakes crossing & is nearby to I-75 to be far better.

I have been here a few times since my last review and it has actually gotten better here. The restaurant is cleaner than it used to be and the food is much better. It's only fair that I upgrade my review to 3 stars.

I have been to this Qdoba many times and have not experienced the issues with quality or service that others have noticed. My go-to is a chicken burrito and it's always been good! Now if only they had mango salsa all year long and pledged to go non-gmo like Chipotle!

I love qdoba, but two times in a row here I haven't been happy with the food. The service is great, but both times, the rice was hard. I'm not sure if this means undercooked or overcooked, but it's becoming inconvenient. Can't imagine coming back again. I could order out from any of the restaurants across the street just as easy. The quesadillas were only filled about 1/4 of the tortilla, instead of 1/2. I then had to ask for sour cream and guacamole after my food was given to me. I signed up for a rewards card recently and got an email saying my rewards card would be filled with a free chips and salsa, once I got to checking out with my food, I'm told that they don't have any control over the rewards program. So I ended up paying for chips and salsa I thought I would be getting for free. Maybe it just happens that my past few experiences here have been on "off" days at this location, but other locations I've been to are typically more on point. Don't get me wrong, I do love qdoba and their food. I just don't love this auburn hills restaurant.
