Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Fine looking deli in Downtown Auburn hills plenty of seating, and a lot of choices on the menu, all subs are 6.70 they have triple Decker sandwiches, calzones, pizza, burgers, salads and dinner items on there menu. Well was it worth the wait(15 min a take out) calzone w pep, ham, green p, 10$ : it was great very happy ate the hole thing, but?? not fully satisfied,, 10$ it needed a little more or 1$ off. Can't go 4 would go 3 1/2 but can't. Go again y.

If you are unsure Go with the calzone. You can watch them make the dough. Pizza was ok, not terrible but, not our favorite either. Read some reviews we thought the staff was friendly and helpful. We were told the place is Under new management. We had a good experience overall.

The food was pretty good and everything seemed fresh. I kinda wish the bread was a little bit better. Overall I would eat here again. The pizza was slightly better than average but the sandwiches were very great and I'll be having them again soon.

Hands down, best pizza I've had in Detroit; nice thin crust in the land of the super bready pie.

I've been going to this place on and off for more than 15 years. They have great EVERYTHING here. You need to try the meatball sub, pizza, and the Reuben sandwich! It's in downtown Auburn Hills. All the workers are very nice. We will continue to go here!

I have been going to Jo Angela's for four years now, it's right down the street from my work. They have a great selection of deli and Italian. LOVE THEIR PIZZA! Great prices and great flavor! Their calzones are ENORMOUS - which means you get a lot of food for a great price! Their pizza is delicious and I always recommend this place to people eating in the area.

Love these people. Good food, great service. They remember your name for a more personal attention. Love the chicken noodle soup and the buttery breadsticks. Nom nom. The deli sandwiches are also very good, they serve then with a pickle and a scoop of potato salad. Real good salad. Call ahead for your carry out. Parking in front has changed and there is parking in rear.

Calzones and sandwiches are top notch. Pizza is pretty good, but nothing to get too excited about. They get crazy busy at lunch - a good result of their awesome food.

Great pizza depending on the day very inconsistent .

I must conquer with previous posters! Top notch pizza and everything else I've ever had (spaghetti, salads, subs) have all been great! The portions are huge- the spaghetti order is enough for two. The breadsticks are so, so good. I could eat a whole order!

I entered the deli from the rear which faces the municipal parking lot and walked through a sparsely populated establishment. In fact, there was only one table occupied. Four smartly dressed women sat at the table, likely on their lunch break as it was about 1/2 past 1PM, when I arrived. Myself being on lunch, and utterly famished from working so hard(!) I wanted something of substance, I wanted to eat and eat and eat! When I get this feeling though, I am seldom aware of it and usually gorge on something supremely bad for me and usually way too much of it. Sometimes, however I become aware of my over-excitement to eat everything on the menu and, against my urges, order sensibly. This was one of my sensible times. Not TOO sensible but... Although there were signs that contradicted the menu, all of their subs were $5.50. I ordered a Ham & Mozzarella sub called the Jo-Jo. As you can guess, it had Ham and melted Mozzarella. Also, it had lettuce, tomato, coleslaw all piled on a garlic ciabatta bread. It was excellent and only took about 5 minutes to make. What made things even better was my decision to get my meal to go and make the very short walk down to the Riverside Park. I ate my sandwich and drank my diet-Pepsi at a picnic table in the shade on the bank of the stream. What a great way to recharge for the second 1/2 of the workday! Why only 4 stars? The drink prices were a bit high (don't remember exactly) In the future, I will bring my own drink. My to go order was placed in a Styrofoam container I would prefer biodegradable and/or made from recycled material. Also, the place seemed pretty cluttered behind the counter. Whenever I see that, it always makes me feel like it's not clean. I'm not saying it's not clean but, that's my perception when I see clutter. I did notice some other lunch special (1/2 sandwich, cup of soup & potato salad) that seemed reasonably priced. I plan on trying that next time. If my second experience is as good as the first, I may have to try their pizza.

They stop making sandwiches at 3pm. Do you think that's posted/written anywhere on their website? Too many good restaurants to screw with screwups.

Jo-Angela's is a perfect spot for lunch, located right in the heart of downtown Auburn Hills. The place is a small joint that seems to be family-owned, which only adds to the appeal. The main reason I keep coming back to this place is the pizza. Everything about is just unbelievable. The sauce, as others have pointed out, is better than any large chain can offer. The cheese is gooey and ridiculously good. It reminds me of watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a kid and wishing I could eat a pizza that looked as good as the animated slices wolfed down by Michelangelo and Raphael. And if that wasn't enough, the lunch special price for a 10 inch pizza with one topping is just $4.99. Honestly, I'm amazed that this place doesn't have lines out the door during lunch hour. The one small downside is that the pizzas can occasionally take a little too long to make, but that problem can be solved easily by calling an order in ahead of time if you are in a rush. I haven't tried any of their other menu items, because the pizza is so good, but my coworkers have told me the subs and calzones are just as delicious. Give this place a try if you're nearby, you won't be disappointed.
