Near the University of Michigan, large restaurant and nice staff. My daughter is vegetarian and the staff was very helpful on suggestion she could eat. Their food was great.

Served us cold fries and the silverware and glasses were dirty. Water spots on silverware not a big deal but lip prints all over the glasses was disgusting! My burger was okay, not great. Same thing with my husband's fried cod.

Burger tasted great, just brought out the wrong burger. Zach our server was awesome and offered to bring out the correct burger promptly, however I decided to keep what I got. They ended up comping my meal and it tasted great! Definitely come to this Red Robin, their happy hour is awesome too!

Overall a very nice experience. Not the easiest location during rush hour as state street and briarwood gets crazy. Wait staff was very attentive and our waiter had a good sense of humor. Food orders came relatively fast and everything was fresh (hadn't been sitting around long). And I love the mozzarella sticks, especially during happy hour!

Stopped by when nearby Olive Garden had a 50 minute wait. No wait. New menu since last time we were here. Still have favorites (towering onion appetizer) and burgers, and new dinner offerings. We were quickly served, and out in 50 minutes. Lots of TVs on sports channels. Will go there again.

If I could, I'd give Red Robin 3.5 stars. Like most chains, Red Robin has started to lose more bang for its buck. Increased prices and decreased portions can make the meal a lot more underwhelming. However, this location at least maintains a very friendly staff and quality service. If you are looking for a place to eat with a large group, Red Robin is a great go to. Depending on your wait staff, you can get the bottomless fries started earlier by requesting them in advance while waiting for your burger. Sauces to ask for would be honey poppyseed and the campfire! In terms of entrees, I recommend the Royal Red or Whiskey River bbq burgers. Also, be sure to sign up for the Royalty club - the random deals are a nice plus and a free meal on your birthday is always welcome.

I'm just going to preface with the fact that I'm going to focus on the negatives in this review. there is nothing "gourmet" about this place. I mean it's not that I had my sights set high, and I don't usually review chains, but I'd honestly never been to a red robin before so I thought that I would share my thoughts. burgers themselves, first of all no bun option was presented. just a standard kaiser bun. no whole wheat? brioche? challah? burgers themselves looked to be about 1/3 of the usual 80/20. not seasoned, didn't eve seem to be salted. worst thing was I asked for it to be blackened but I got nothing. one of my pet peeves is an overcooked burger (overcooked anything really). I like mine a nice medium-- bottom bun a little pink, this was well done. the construction of the burger itself was good, and ingredients were nicely distributed with pickles and onions on the bottom, cheese lettuce bacon tomato on top. nice touch there. server messed up two items but was fairly attentive, if a bit lacking in a sense of urgency (630 on a Friday). manager touched the table. honestly if anything was worth complaining about, I had the opportunity. nothing was TERRIBLE.... just everything was very "meh." I know I am being super critical but simple food done mediocre drives me crazy! I would say 2.5 stars but I'll throw the benefit of the doubt because a lot of this is total subjectivity. I really doubt I'll ever return to another red robin. I suppose if you're craving a burger and don't know where else to turn, you can settle here. but with a little research here on yelp, you can find a pub or grill or hole in the wall almost anywhere that can outstrip this place.

Very dirty table, we had to clean the crumbs off ourselves. Waiter provided us with all waters, but no coasters so the condensation was constantly leaking all over the table. We ordered apps and the waiter just put the plates on the table, didn't distribute it to the rest of the table. Server went home before our main course arrived, perhaps that's why service was so sloppy. The second server we got was a bit better, food was average so a star for that. We had vouchers from a terrible visit last time. We were told they're only allowed to apply 5 at a time (they were given to us in $10 increments)... manager who issued them didn't tell us this? After speaking to the manager they agreed to do it. Maybe they realized how customers get these vouchers. Portions have definetly decreased and prices have increased. Overall, a below par restaurant but half decent food.

I've actually eaten here multiple times. All the times the food has been very good and the customer service has been great, but yesterday it was awful! Given it was my birthday, I went to redeem my free birthday burger I recevived when I signed up for their birthday club. Since I was a party of one I sat in the bar area so I wouldn't take up a table that may be used by multiple people. Maybe if I had sat at a table I would have received good customer service. I didn't at the bar. Not last night. The waitress was extremely rude. I ordered a glass of pinot grigio and when I received I almost couldn't drink it because it reaked so badly of bleach. I have a feeling they were running short on glasses and I had one that had just been cleaned. While I wouldn't want a dirty glass, I could barely stand to drink my wine. It took me a long time. And that it usually doesn't!! The waitress finally came, took my order and left. Quite awhile later I got my burgerr. I was (and still am) a little taken back that two men came in after me, ordered, but still got their food before I did. When I got my burger and fries, the bun fell apart on the first bite. About half the fries were only half cooked.... Not cool. I flagged down a wait staff to get another drink. He looked annoyed, but finally brought me one. At least this glass didn't smell like bleach. The waitress never came around to ask if I needed anything or if everything was alright. Maybe it's glad she didn't, because I wouldn't have been all that pleasant if she asked. She did come to bring me my bill. I gave a 15% tip because the service was horrible. Food wasn't great either. I usually give 20% if not more. Not that time! After I paid and as I was leaving there were 4 or so young people whose only job is to greet and say goodbye to people and they just looked at me like I had three eyes. Real nice! It will be quite awhile before i eat here again!! I'd rather have a burrger at Max and Erma's across the street.

I have been coming to this spot for 3 years. Their happy hour offers incredibly cheap well drinks and half priced apps. The Buzzard Wings are my go to, and they never disappoint. Come to think of it, this may be the only chain restaurant location that I frequent regularly. For those who have complained about poor service on their reviews, I recommend sitting at the bar. The bartenders, Scott and Kendra always give the best service while being extremely friendly and personable. You'll never be ignored and there's a good chance they will remember you and what you drank and ate from your previous visit(s).

I don't normally review chains because you tend to know what you're getting. The food at one Red Robin is more or less the same as the food at any other but this location stood out for their poor service. We got to the restaurant and were seated right away as it was an uncrowded Thursday night, but then we waited 10 minutes before someone came to take or drink orders. At that point we were ready top order our food as well but the server hurried off immediately, not to return for another 10 minutes. When we did get our order the server forgot that we had asked for crispy fries and one of our group had an overcooked burger. The party next to us had a screwed up carry out order as well. It's just harder to enjoy your food with poor service.

This is still not my fave chain but this particular locale is definitely my fave of the bunch. Avoid the pre formed patty burgers unless you are like my husband and just do not care. They have his fave here, pineapple on the burger, so he is not too picky otherwise. I tend to do a BLTA croissant here; bacon, lettuce, turkey, tomato and avocado. It comes with the bottomless fries, which are steak fry style and tasty, especially with their fry seasoning from on the table. I also like the ensenada chicken platter and the various salads. Red's rice bowl will do in a pinch. My big exception to the no burger rule is the burger they feature during October, my birthday month that has bavarian ham, mustard sauteed onions and real mustard on it. It's enough to forgive the generic burger under it. The real reason why this locale shines is the service. I'm not saying it's stellar but it's reliably good. For some reason this seems to be problematic at other locales. Here they actually will get you a refill and not leave your food under a warming lamp for 10 minutes while you watch. They will give you your correct check. Yes I have such high expectations, picky me. We visited for my husband's freebie this month. We will be back in October for mine.

This is a nice location to go to for Lunch or after work. They have a variety on the menu such as Burgers(Of Course), Salads, Chicken, and other menu items. I have had the Fish and Chips here and it is ok. It does not hold as much grease as some other locations. I have also had the Chicken Ensenada platter. It is a pretty good mix of Mexican style. Certainly not as good as actual Mexican locations but good. The Ceasar salad was also good. There is a also a good bar with a good selection of beer and other drinks. Overall, it is a great place to meet with friends.

For me, the biggest benefit of being part of a chain is consistency. You know a chicken tenders salad is going to be the same from Ann Arbor to Los Angeles. It may not be adventurous, but it's comforting. This location has been consistently good for me. It's clean, we've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table, and the food comes out quickly. Service has always been friendly and efficient. I like a place that can handle a ton of traffic and still put out a good product.

They have everything you could ask for! The menu has many options like the 'Shroom Swiss, Grilled Chicken and Pesto, and Western Burger, but I love the wait staff! TVs and old time posters are well situated, plus everybody has the opportunity to get the great milkshakes! Keep it up.

Consistent...that's what Red Robins are. You get pretty much the same much better than average quality food there every time. I've had turkey burgers and other specialty sandwiches and salads and they all been very good. The carry Coke products, so I'm happy about that, too. The only disappointment was the sweet potato fries. Not nearly the best, though not the worst. I prefer the steak fries. Service is always good and friendly. This theme restaurant is such that lots of families go there. I'm not usually a fan of being around a lot of children, but it's entirely understandable, so it's fine with me. I've always wondered though, about a kid friendly place that also tries to be a bar, but it seems to work.

Okay people..not all things A2 are good! I lived and raised children in a2. for 25yrs but today I'm a visiting my friends and family here in the land of trees..hence the word arbor, and we go to red robin! first thing I say to the waitress is " I've never been here that this would be a new experience ". And I know she doesn't cook the food but you'd think she would have passed that message on to the line cooks..not. She was nice and she was also tipped 20% Mac Donalds might be a better option just not as many choices. Does Red Robin have to be a five star restaurant to have food that taste good? No,but when you're an establishment that prepares and serve food you should perform like a five star! So..since I normally don't dine at these burger joints I know to keep it simple...nobody's burgers are as good as mine..I order the fish and chips and I keep it simpler still. I ate 2 fries 1small piece of fish. I hate it when the batter is bigger than the fish! and it doesn't adhere. Those are big fish frying mistakes! nobody's fish and chips are like mine! how'd you know I was gonna say that? laughing. This is why eating out stinks sometimes..the fries nasty tasted like paste sticks barely fried. The cod is what brings me here an d they should be ashamed of serving it and getting away with it! A couple of pieces had a problem they were as hard as a brick in certain location s of the filet! you couldn't chew it I spit one hunk out in my napkin! I thought okay but I didn't send it back we were on a quick lunch. I a box bring it to Toledo and low and behold there is another piece the whole thing hard UN-chewable mess! I picked it apart its fish but chews like rubber. I don't know if it was pre cooked in the microwave to thaw? either way and needless to say I'm one less customer they need to worry about. Shame to! you want to eat out sometimes! and grab a quick bite and who doesn't love a good burger! but you don't want mediocre you want it tasty..unless you like chewing on rubber?

What a joke. Ordered Mac & cheese as a carry out. On top, the noodles were all lumped together with a massive sticky wad of cheddar. At the bottom of the container sat a milky puddle. No garlic bread was provided that should've been, and I asked for flatware and the girl couldn't be bothered to put the pack in the bag. Never will I divert from the burger menu again. Nor will I carry out. The staff was in too much of a hurry to get out out of there for the night, and I was there 1 hr before close.

This location consistently serves good food, but really shines with its customer service. As with all red robins, there is a very large menu of heart attacks -- I mean burgers. There's plenty of awesome toppings like avocado, bacon, shredded fried onion crispies, eggs, etc. The salads are fresh and generous too!! Servers are very friendly, patient, and cheerful. I think they are very aware of their timeliness and strive for very high quality service. During a couple visits, they have apologized for various situations (kitchen was slow, they missed an order), and compensated accordingly (free drinks, half off bill). The servers have always spotted these situations before I really even notice, and do a great job of "making it right".

Disgusting! Our server barely came around, the manager brought us our food after a forty minute wait. My husband's burger- the buns were warm but the inside was cold- as if left under the lamps. I complained loudly to the manager about our server not coming over and that's when we finally got refills. The worst and absolutely most revolting part- it smelled of bodily fluids near our table!!! We stood up (after we got tired of waiting for the server to pay our bill) and it reeked of semen. We walked up to the nearest server, paid, and left. Could not stomach the smell anymore. This is a family establishment- there is NO EXCUSE for that smell. We love Red Robin but this visit will be the last. I have never been more disgusted by a restaurant than this one.

We went here not expecting much as it is a chain restaurant but were pleasantly surprised. The menu is pretty large and I felt the food was above average. Their happy hour pricing on drinks and apps was awesome too and the server let me know. There was a storm in the area and the restaurant lost power breifly but food still came out quick and the server was attentive. When they seated us there must have been some type of communication issue because no server came for about 15 minutes even though they weren't busy. Once he realized we were there he did a very good job though. I'd go here again. If I have to pick between a chain choice of Applebees or Red Robin, I'll probably go Red Robin from here on out.

Good service. Good food. Good beer. But, they have a plumbing issue that produces a very nasty smell at the bar. According to the bartender, this has been an ongoing issue for months. It's really nasty. Avoid the bar until someone reports it's been resolved!

Red Robin has a good burger and bottomless fries. That's why I go there. The last 2 or 3 times I've had the Royal Red Robin with egg and the egg is always over cooked to my liking/request. Also, the burger always seems smaller than the picture on the menu somehow. I still like the burger and give it 3 stars and I'll be back...

I've given this location a shot several times, and the service has always been so-so. We came here for my niece's birthday on April 2nd and this was the worst dining experience my family has ever had. Our server was Teri and we came in at about 5:45 pm on Thursday evening. The place was not very busy. She came and took our drink order, forgetting the lemons my sister and mom requested when she came back. Okay, no big deal. We ordered our food. I had a coupon for 15% off a bill that totaled $10 or more. I told her this then ordered my meal, which turned out to be $9.99. She informed me that I would need to order something else in order for the total to be at least $10. I wasn't about to argue over a penny so I ordered a side sauce (which my niece ended up loving, so I guess that worked out.). I've used coupons similar to this before and have not had to do this. I'm not blaming the server for this; however, there should be consistency with the coupons. I decided to order the Banzai burger, which is supposed to come with teriyaki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, grilled pineapple, and cheddar cheese. Our food took way longer than it should have...at least around half an hour. Again, it was not busy, and none of us ordered our burgers well done. When she finally brought our food, all that was on my burger was cheese, mayo, grilled pineapple, and of course the burger. I couldn't see the teriyaki sauce, but figured it might have been hidden. I had ordered the fruit salad with my burger, and I was given a side of fries instead, which I gave to my sister. I asked for my fruit salad. Teri did not bring out my niece's meal, fish and chips, and was surprised when we asked about it. She said she forgot to ring it in, did not apologize, and walked away. Okay??? When she finally checked on us 10 minutes later, she still did not bring her food (really, how long does it take to drop some fish and fries in the fryer?) I informed her that I did not have lettuce or tomato for my sandwich and asked for a side. She promptly brought these back with a smirk. By this point, I realized I had no teriyaki on my burger, but because of how long she was taking to come back to the table, I decided to not even bother. A total of 15 minutes later, the birthday girl's food arrived. Still, no apology. By this time my niece had been waiting so long that we were done eating and had given her some of our food. I looked around for a manager. The only one I saw in the dining room was wandering around on his cell phone. He disappeared in the kitchen and I never saw him again. Teri disappeared for another 10-15 minutes and brought out our bills and my niece's birthday sundae. My sister and I are both Red Robin Royalty members, and she mixed our bills up. My sister and I just dealt with it because we needed to leave. Another 10 minutes passed, we had our coats on and were ready to leave. Everyone else in my family had their bills all set with cash, no change, on the table. Unfortunately, I had a credit card and had to wait for Teri...again. She asked if we needed anything else and I pointed out a box, which we had asked for 3 times already. She came back with the box and my bill, and would not look any of us in the eye. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing. I realize that this is Red Robin, not a fine dining establishment. I've even worked in restaurants, so when I complain about the service, it's got to be pretty bad. I've been to other Red Robin locations and have had wonderful food and service. I think both the staff and the manager on duty at this location could benefit from some training and customer service skills. Red Robin is my niece's favorite restaurant, but this time, her favorite part about it was when we left. Her birthday dinner was completely ruined.

I have never received such bad service. Was seated promptly by a nice girl who said our waiter would be right with us. I take about 5 minutes to figure out what I wanna eat, still no waiter and we've had several people walk past us to other tables. We literally wasted 15 minutes at a restaurant who clearly did not want our money, that we literally walked out the door unnoticed, why? Because nobody was at the door. No one ever came to our table for drinks or to take our orders. I didn't care to see a manager because they didn't care to see us. Will continue to eat at Applebee's where they continuously give great service.

BAD. My food came out wrong twice, and was lukewarm both times. My girlfriends first burger came out completely bland and dry, so we sent it back, and the cook got mad and threw salt at the new one giving her random bites of disgusting food. There were many booth seats that were ripped, and the floors were dirty. The staff, although friendly, seemed to all just be standing around or sitting down. Overall, I would never eat there again.

My fiance and I met at this Red Robin (we were invited to a birthday party that was hosted here) and we love coming here. The burgers are cooked to perfection, the fries are always crispy and they handle large crowds well. I have only had one bad experience and that was when I ordered the chicken fingers- they didn't taste very good and I got food poisoning. However, if you stick with the burgers you will not be disappointed. .

We came here on two consecutive nights and were not disappointed. Of course the burgers were excellent; after all, that's their specialty. But one of our party likes Chicken Tenders, and on both nights they were actually TENDER. Lightly seasoned and not overcooked. I had grilled chicken on my salad the first night and it was also well prepared and tender. The second night I had a Natural Burger and got to enjoy a hamburger without cheese, sauce and other gooey toppings. It was very tasty in its simple glory, topped with leaf lettuce, tomato and red onion. The service was excellent both nights and it was busy both nights, even though there wasn't a major sports draw on the TVs.

Exactly what you would expect from the default American gourmet burger chain. They opened yesterday and, as is predictable, service, cleanliness, and speed were perfect. I'd not been to a Red Robin in a decade and the food was just as fantastic as I remembered. Substitutions and additions are allowed, endless fries are great, and the beer is cold, tasty, and comes in huge glasses. They don't have burgers like this back home but, if they did, I'd be one big, fat, happy Kama'aina.

(4)Erin B.
The best part of all Red Robins are the bottomless Root Beer floats!!
(4)Dawn N.
I love red robin & their bottomless fries. Sometimes the servers aren't very friendly here
(4)Sherry M.
My son is gluten free and this place is amazing!!! The burgers, the fries, and now they came out with gf french onion soup!!! Everything taste wonderful and the staff is always very helpful and diligent in making sure everything is perfect!!! Great job!!! The livonia, mi chain on 6 mile - thumbs up!!!!

I Like eating here, always a pleasurable dinning experience!!

Yummy desserts! Friendly staff! The women's restroom needed a little attention. Otherwise, we had a good experience at this restaurant!
(4)Bill D.
It's a Burger place so don't expect fancy! Good tasty burgers and hot fries unlimited. Decent waitstaff and casual comfortable surroundings.

However, if you stick with the burgers you will not be disappointed. .
(4)Michael M.
Burger's, as usual, were really good. This visit though, the french fries were not that good, dry and old. Waitress was very good very attentive.

Serve was great, however I ordered my burger medium well and it came out extremely pink. Burning love burger OK, but got soggy really quickly. Sat at the bar.

Discovered a great salad, Crispy Chicken Tender Salad, it is the best. The servers are excellent all very polite and helpful. Will def be back.
(5)Victoria H.
