Good solid Michigan diner. I have been here several times over the years when visiting or passing through Ann Arbor. They have good standard breakfast and lunch/dinner fare. I always enjoy their coney dogs. Service is typically fast and friendly. Meal prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.

Excellent food and great service. I am new to the Michigan market and to the whole Coney Island concept however this business is exceptional. Great food, good service. I would highly recommend going back.

It's been ten years since I was last here. It hasn't changed. I stopped in because I was real early for a meeting and it is the first snowfall this winter(crazy drivers). The service was great. Jessica kept refilling my coffee. I had the #1 minus eggs with whole wheat toast and hash browns. The food was just okay. It arrived real fast. The reason was because it the food cooked early for the morning rush. It was the kind sitting in the corner of the grill staying warm until ordered. The toast was toasted fresh. Not a bad breakfast just not great. Of course its hard to screw up hash browns and bacon. The prices were reasonable, $5.70 plus tip.

Mark's was a welcome surprise on our journey north. Following a delightful stay at the Motel 6, Mark's served a delicious breakfast, with friendly, prompt service and good prices; something for everyone. A welcome alternative to a chain breakfast place.

Very homey style little diner. I got the Coney dog platter. You get to Coney dogs slathered in chili and mustard and a good portion of french fries and I added a "pop" all for 9 dollars some change. Quick service also very friendly and good diner style food.

Always a greasy mess. The one in saline in 1000x better. Staff here is always seemingly more into thier own discussions than serving you.

I've had my fair share of underwhelming and overpriced greek salads but I have nothing bad to say about this one! I got takeout because it was close to my work and chicken lemon rice and a small greek salad. Both were big proportions for such a reasonable price! The chicken lemon rice soup was chunky and very flavorful and half of the small greek salad filled me up! I highly recommend this place, fast, convenient and delicious food. the only thing was the lady at the cashier and who took my order was pretty unfriendly.

A pretty damned good coney. Don't expect a higher end establishment. Do expect a place that serves plenty of more than decent coney food quickly. My breakfasts were done as ordered. Coffee was OK. Service was quick and friendly. prices were good, as well. I can always count on getting the same quality here.

I became a coney dog lover today. The service was vary fast, prices were very reasonable, lots of menu items to choose from. They offer breakfast all day but my whole family had lunch items. The kids cheeseburger was huge and my picky 10 year old loved the kid's chicken tenders.

Ok, i'm not from MI, so I didn't know a Coney was mitten talk for a Diner. Here i've been wondering where to go for a diner, and it's been down the street the whole time. Ok, its not the best i've ever had, but very far from the worst. I will definitely be going back, and definitely going to the one in North A2. Pickle slices are good. Salad is exactly what you would expect it to be. It's a diner! Oh, and..... IT IS CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! Now, if they would just stay open later..........

As others have stated, it's a great diner for getting a good greasy breakfast at a decent price. Today's takeout lunch consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham, and toast. It was all cooked fresh and nice and hot when I got it back to the office. The bacon could have been crisped up more, but isn't that always the case? The service I received was very fast, good and came with a smile. I appreciate that. In the past I've had the hot turkey sandwich and the fried clam dinner. Both are average at best, but it's enough to keep me coming back. My only real complaints are that the kitchen could look a bit cleaner, especially since it is very open to view.

I love this place for breakfast. The omelets are great, and you just can't beat the quality of service and prices. It is one of my "go to" diners.

This place is a classic breakfast diner. Fast service, great food with a no nonsense attitude. This is serious breakfast food for people who are serious about breakfast. I had the Gyro scrambler, which was 3 eggs with gyro meat, onions, green peppers and mushrooms with hashbrowns and toast - absolutely excellent. Service was quick and attentive. I will definitely be back, in fact I'm already craving that Gyro scrambler just writing this review. #goodeats

Here, in Ohio, we don't have coney islands. It's one of the things I miss about Michigan, particularly Ann Arbor. Mark's is by far, the best coney island in A2. Solid breakfast choices, which is always my go to, even if it's 3 in the afternoon. Omelettes are fantastic, and you can get pretty much whatever you want in them. Hashbrowns are great, especially if you get them extra crispy. Coffee is good, service is great. Man, I miss this place!

I'm not a picky eater. I love greasy spoon diner food and the typical coney island atmosphere. That being said, my husband and I came here for a quick dinner last week around 8pm. Our waitress was quick, friendly, and attentive. I ordered a breakfast plate of eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and my husband ordered a gyro, greek salad, and fries. His food was ok, fries were right out of the fryer and gyro was a good size. My eggs were ok, bacon was crisp, but my pancakes were completely raw in the middle. The worst part, though, was that the place was just so dirty. Our booth backs looked like they hadn't been wiped down for months. Dusty, grimy, sticky, you name it. I'm by no means a clean freak, but when the stuff that you can see if that dirty, I get worried about what the kitchen and food prep areas look like (or maybe that's just all of my hours of watching "Restaurant Impossible" and "Kitchen Nightmares" kicking in). There are so many great coney places in the area (and a new and clean Quizno's right next door) I'm not sure why anyone would choose to come to such a poorly taken care of establishment. Yuck.

I had a two and a half hour drive back to Cleveland in front of me. I was a little beat down from drinking the night before. That would be the night that I drunk yelped a lot of Ann Arbor businesses and parks. I was writing with a poison pen that night. Alcohol influenced reviews are usually the most revealing and honest, often needs revision. I had a great conversation with a guy at the diner counter while we enjoyed our good and cheap breakfasts. The place was packed but the service was solid. The coffee mug did not go empty at all.

This is a great little diner, went here with a couple of my buddies when we were in the area for the Mich vs. UConn game. The food was very good and the prices here are even better. The service was quick and friendly and the place had a pretty respectable selection to choose from. It is also located across from a liquor store, which is good especially if you are going to the football game afterwards :). Overall a great place for breakfast.

this place cured my hangover. no joke. i woke up feeling like death. food was the last thing on my mind. but my brother, his girlfriend and my boyfriend were ravenous, so to mark's midtown we went. i felt nauseated the entire way. but miraculously, five minutes into sitting at our booth and the symptoms lifted. it was magic!! :) this is a solid michigan-style diner, offering up breakfast around the clock, plus coney dogs, gyros and greek salads galore. a fave of my brother's, and a fave of mine. now that the football season is over, i shall miss you mark's midtown.

We gave it a try 4 times and each time we have had RUDE waitresses.. what is the issue with giving good customer service???.. The waitress last time DROPED my husbands bun on the table which looked like it was not wiped down well before we came as it is and asked him if he wanted another one so he said yes please.. mind you we are very kind hearted people/ have no reason to be rude to others. Anyway as she walked she said Oh my God! very loudly and rudely as if getting him a new hamburger bun SHE DROPPED was a huge issue... not to mention every other time we have been there the waitresses have never been nice to us and why???.., we have been nothing but sweet to you people, we have smiled and said hello and even kept our cool the last time and said nothing so this is why I decided to write a review for all to see! I will be sure to tell as many people as I can to never go there and we will never be back. We also took our 8 month old in and place him in a high chair and we make sure to keep out of the way and close to the table as possible and they said you need to move him.. move him where??? under the damn table?? we were not even close to having him in the way of others.. I think you people just do not like babies and we also have taken back the high chair and put it back in its place when we were done.. how many customers can you say have done this??? Congratulations.. you have won the worst restaurant service award!!! STAY CLEAR!!! Food sucks anyway.. I am not sure why we tried it the 4 times to begin with. I have no clue why this place got as many stars as it did.. people obviously have never tasted good food OR had good customer service to know any better. Wish I could give them 0 stars to be honest.
