My first experience with buffalo wings this past fall at Brown Jug was something I thought better left forgotten. After being a vegetarian for over ten years, I found them not worth the mess to get to what meager meat was left on the bone. But then Buffalo Wild Wings introduced me to boneless wings and my attitude shifted dramatically into the pro-wing camp. The whole concept of flavors is brilliant. We sampled the spicy garlic (too hot), Thai curry (too blah), Parmesan garlic (yummy), and Asian Zing (AMAZING). I kind of wish I could get Asian Zing wings delivered nightly, though that seems like an unwise move for overall bodily health. It's a little overpriced for the limited amount of product you get, but surprisingly filling. I just wish their beers were cheaper and that they gave more complementary veggies with the wings. I need at least a dozen celery wands and carrot sticks to maintain my veggie-loving sanity.

I never come here in the evenings so I don't know about the service then. That being said, this has been a legit lunch spot for me while I work downtown. Cheap lunch specials and you get your meal in 15 minutes or fewer! This makes it easy for me to stop here on a half an hour lunch break and not have to worry about being late. You also get a punch card for showing up during lunch and you get $5 off you meal after the 5th lunch visit. Staff is always great and my partner and I eat here at least once every few weeks. Never had any problems and I keep coming back!

Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen but wings were all overlooked. Tough, chewy, not worth the $. The servers failed to smile at anyone too. Glad they opened a BW's in this part of A2 but if the quality remains this way they might end up with the same fate as Damon's.

I have a soft spot for sports bars. I think they can be a lot of fun, especially if you go with a good group to watch a good game. Nothing beats watching an awesome game with a packed bar full of tons of yelling people and a bunch of huge T.V.s. Well, for some people anyway. I'm not a huge fan of "B-Dubs". I don't think their food is that great and I don't really like wings so....there it is. My 2 star review, though, is mostly reflective of what happened when I was there for a meeting. I arrived first and was met fairly promptly by the server. I just ordered a water with lemon and it took at least 10 minutes for her to bring it over. The place wasn't even that busy. Anyway--it is what it is. If a group of friends invite you to come along, there are worse places you could be. I would never recommend this for dinner, though. Tons of other better places if food is your main concern.

Buffalo Wild Wings is all the rage with the freshman and highschool croud. I don't particularly care for the place. The wings are alright but overpriced and that is really all they have. As far as sports bars go, there are better places. They have some big tv's, but many of them can't be seen at angles, which makes them useless.

We ate at Buffalo Wild Wings this past Sunday after the Detroit marathon. We were looking for a place to eat and watch the football games and this place was a pretty good choice. The football games were on the multiple TV's throughout the restaurant (at least 25?) and we were able to sit back and eat and enjoy a little football on a Sunday. The waitress was also great as she didn't push us through our meal and mentioned that it was fine if we wanted to hang out and watch after we finished our food. The wings here are good. Not the best that I've ever had, but consistently good. We had the mild, honey BBQ, Carribean Jerk and Hot BBQ and were happy with all of the sauces. I also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Wrap which was well done - good amounts of chicken, lettuce, tomato and sauce to make it enjoyable. The food was not outstanding, but for your average bar food, it was right on par. The crowd was definitely there to watch football and that made the atmosphere fun on Sunday afternoon.

If you'd ever been to Buffalo wild wings this one is no different. A lot of Michigan stuff on the walls is all that has changed. Okay food for okay price.

I always feel somewhat silly reviewing chains. You either already know you like it, or already know you don't. In my case, I think Buffalo Wild Wings is a sad place to be, but sometimes I am sad, and would like to watch a sports game while murdering chickens. You know what you'll get: lots of TVs showing every event imaginable, loud bros cheering or groaning, leftover green beer from St. Patrick's day or similar specials, and wings that taste delicious when going down your throat but make you feel guilty afterwards. Whether that is something that you want, well, that's your choice.

This is the worst of the BWW I've been to. Service is AWFUL.

  • Kerry A.

If you're from out of town, you may not want to eat at a chain that you can visit when at home. That was my boyfriend and my case at least. But after two nights of eating out at small privately owned restaurants and spending well over $200 each time, we were just looking for a place to get some good and cheap eats. This was just like any other Buffalo Wild Wings, but compared to other places in the area, the value was way higher than expected. We ordered promptly, were fed promptly, and my camel of a boyfriend couldn't even finish his drinks before he had another on the table! Samantha was great, prompt, efficient, and friendly. It was just what we needed!

I used to be one of those people who couldn't understand why people like this place so much... but then I started coming here with some friends to watch the game. And it was fun! (This is coming from a girl who doesn't even like sports to begin with). It's great to just hang around with friends (this place is open so late, it's awesome), order drinks and occasionally get decently cheap food when you crave it. If you're getting wings, I'm not a big spicy-food eater, but I love the Asian Zing or Honey BBQ.

Now this is the B-Dubs to B at! Unlike East Lansing, they don't charge cover to come in and watch the UFC fights, which is the best function of any BWW. They also have delicious wings, the spicy garlic and hot flavors are my favorites (since yes, I can't handle the blazin'). Overall, it's a good place for beer, spicy wings and hanging out. The quiz game is also decent. Don't expect too much though, people. It's a chain, after all.

Great place for beer and wings. Colleen is amazing!

For the restaurant not being slammed, I received absolutely terrible service. Our server was visibly inconvenienced by our presence. I was ignored by the bar tender after trying to get his attention multiple times. Food was good. Got a drink refill after my meal was finished. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

    (2)
  • Beck E.

Their blazin' wings are legitimately hottttt. I had trouble taking my contacts out later that night. 3 stars because this place is pretty standard, and I have spent over an hour waiting to be seated--NOT on one of their wing nights! Pretty expensive as far as wings go, but if you do go on Tuesday? Thursday? the price isn't so bad. The trivia is also fun.

I dont like the buffalo wings here. Besides, I went here for NBA Allstars but soon I found it is not that good to watch a game on projector. I still think TV maybe a better choice.

Excellent wings and boneless wings. I'm especially fond of the spicy garlic and Asian zing sauces, although both medium and hot hold a special place in my heart for their classic flavor. My friends with a higher heat tolerance than I swear by Hot BBQ or Wild. If you're feeling particularly lard-a-licious, the potato wedges (plain) are excellent. Fairly extensive beer list, albeit with few interesting or unusual choices. They do usually serve at least one Sam Adams seasonal and one Bell's seasonal, and often have dirt cheap Bud/Miller/Coors specials. I don't recommend the cocktails--they're designed for the novice drinker who enjoys very sugary, fruity concoctions with low quality liquor. I also don't particularly recommend the tenders, which need to be dipped in the sauce--the boneless wings are a better alternative because they arrive sauced. B-Dubs is a poor choice for vegetarians, and an awful choice for vegetarians who don't eat shrimp. B-Dubs is a decent place to watch sports, but beware: They sometimes hire a live DJ on Friday nights. Aside from this being totally bizarre, they will mute any games so the DJ can play his music, so you may want to avoid this venue for any important Friday night games. And one final warning: Take out quality tends to be relatively poor. After one too many orders of skimpily sauced take out wings, we've opted to dine in only.

This place is great if you're looking to have a casual dinner out. Awesome location close to a couple more upscale bars on state street, as well as a couple ice cream places and a movie theater! My only advice is to just stay away on any gamedays as this place fills up and the wait can get pretty long

Came here for my first meal in AA and wasn't disappointed. The wings were great and the different flavors are all pretty good for the most part. Parmesan garlic, salt and vinegar and hot are my favorite. The fried chicken burger is also delicious and the fries, onion rings and wedges aren't too bad either. The waitresses are pretty nice although there are some who can be a bit rude, but what do you expect.

One of my favorite bdubs. The service is usually decent even when they're busy. Food is always good & neat. Some of their prices are cheaper than most bdubs'. Only reason I have it 4 stars is because parking can be a hassle sometimes.

Before the one in Ann Arbor opened up, I used to go to the one in Ypsi when it was still by the AATA bus station; they moved. Now that its in Ann Arbor, I have been to BW's several times and they redid their sauces some years ago. It's your typical bar/wing/food joint... this place gets busy, so can't say when it's good time to go to avoid the crowd... I typically will get the wedges with cheese, onion rings and dozen wings. My sauce of choice is Asian Zing! I don't know why, but I love the Asian Zing sauce - it's sweet and not too hot! They used to have honey mustard - I miss that.... I have tried all their sauces - yes even the Blazin. I would not recommend Blazin if you are not used to hot sauces. In addition, if you are going to try the Blazin, please put the whole wing in your mouth and debone the wing if you can... otherwise you'll get the sauce on your lips and you will suffer!!! I know in some places they will do the Blazin challenge - not sure if this place does or not... basically it's - eat 6 blazin wings and wait for five minutes or so without drinking any water. Not sure what the prize is, but if you want to hurt yourself go for it! :) The sauce itself is worth trying once - but you need to work your way up to the sauce. Try wild for some time and jump into blazin if you are ready! As for the service - it's hit or miss - and it doesn't matter if it's busy or not. I was there when it was slow and your waitress was hard to find... they came by once every 15 min or so to check on you... I would understand if the place was packed, but when its empty it shouldn't take 15 minutes for someone to check upon you. If you love wings and beers - give this place a try. By the way, did you know BW's used to be called BW3's?

    (3)
  • Erin B.

The wings are hit or miss--sometimes there's sauce covering the whole thing, sometimes there isn't. This is a great spot to hit up for a game, after work, or anytime you want to go out and not get dressed up. I'm a huge fan of Wednesday night trivia!

    (4)
  • Lily K.

For what it is, this place is awesome! When I get a craving for their wings, I can't make it go away until I get some! Sauces are delicious. My personal favorites are asian zing and parmesan garlic. One of the few restaurants where I am able to put my demand for high quality ingredients aside because it honestly just tastes great!

  • George K.

Good wings, hot or mild, with the bone or boneless, Cold beer and pretty good service. A good place to grab a table and share a drink and a story or two. Lots of TV's on the walls and lots of seating. We will visit again when in downtown AA

  • Kathryn L.

Service at this place is pretty good. I've been here a few times for friends' birthday gatherings and the drinks are always delicious. The food is so-so; not bad and not great, but typical for a b-dubs. The parking near this venue is at a premium so it loses a star for that...but once you find parking we are confident you'll enjoy this venue.

Tried the new(er) Salt & Vinegar seasoning on 8 boneless wings, pretty good! A nice change from the usual sauce.

I cannot figure out why people love Buffalo Wild Wings...I used to visit the location in Ypsilanti years ago and it was much better. I've been dragged into "A2 B-dubs" as it's known to my coworkers, on many occasions and the food is, for lack of a better term, VILE. None of the wings are crisp or crunchy. They are decidedly limp, flabby, and mushy and somehow bring to mind a cooked baby's arm...*shivers* I've tried many, many flavors and even tho some of the sauces are tasty it can't make up for the scary texture of the wings. The sandwiches are all lackluster except for the various permutations of fried chicken-finger rollups...which are ok/edible. The fried appetizers are ok as well, nothing special. Service is always friendly, upbeat, and prompt but I feel bad that they have to serve such gross food.

  • Jeff C.

For some reason, I always get horrible service at this BWW, much worse than the one in Novi or even the Ypsi one. If you're going on a game day, be prepared to come early or wait for bit because it gets crowded...unfortunately i like their wings...the caribbean jerk and spicy garlic are tops on my list...the atmosphere's pretty normal for a bar...loud during sporting events and relatively tame on other nights... If i was basing my review on service, i'd give it a 2/5 but just the wings i'd give it a 4/5 because of the variety and the cheaper prices on certain days.

How the fart is this place open? The farting food is as bad as it gets. The stupid farting people that give the horrible farting food a good must had been drunk out of their minds before they ate it. The other night I went here with some friends, after deciding I could not choke down anything at the awful pizza house again. I have been here before, but it had been about 4 or 5 years, so I thought it could not had been as bad as I remember, but I was way off. First of all, it is like walking into the movie Idiocracy. It's an arena of giant T.V.'s with a slam dunk competition on. where some jack hole dunks over a car and the drunk morons go crazy. So I get a beer.....OOOOO they serve beer, how special! Then I tell the waitress "I like beer" and goes to a computer, pushes a button and someone brings me one. Then I say "I like food" and she asks "what flavor goo do you want on top?" I ask for a recommendation and she says everyone prefers the honey bbq goo. So she pushes another button and brings me some food. All the food is garbage covered in a goo. It's all cheap food too. Chicken is under $1 per pound, potatoes are about $0.10 per pound. No steak, or reasonable seafood (the shrimp they serve is not reasonable.) At this point I wish I had a gun to put to my head, if this place can be so popular it has locations all over. I asked someone what makes this place so good, they told me "the goo has what morons crave, they have beer and you cannot look anywhere without seeing a T.V. in case a self made thought tries to enter their head it can quickly be rejected.

Nice place to hang out with a group of friends or a friend to eat, watch a game or have few drinks. The customer service is hit or miss. The younger generation really need to work on their communication skills. I have tried all the variety of chicken wings. My favorite is Caribbean Jerk others I like are: Asian Zing, Parmesan Garlic and Teriyaki.

My kids got me (and my son who is dad to our adorable granddaughter and my son-in-law who will soon be a dad as well) take-out from The Ann Arbor Buffalo Wild Wings for Father's Day. The six of us (son, daughter-in-law, daughter, son-in-law and the wife and me-our granddaugher is only one so she didn't share the meal) split a soft pretzel starter (queso and mustard sauces) and then shared four orders of 12 piece wings with the Medium, Teriyaki, Thai Curry, and Honey BBQ sauces. My personal order of tastiness was as I just listed them. The Teriyaki was a close second but the traditional Medium was the best as far as I was concerned. Not everyone agreed with my list - all the sauces are really good and each got a first place from someone in the group. The pretzel starter was also yummy. My daughter had the Southwest Chicken Wrap and rated it highly as well. In summary, great wings and a good place to get take out. We have also eaten-in at other Buffalo Wild Wings and rate them a good place for a casual tasty meal.

Bad service hinders their very tasty wings. I love their wings, it's hard to find better wings. And it's fun to watch games there if you can get there early enough to find a seat. But I've had numerous bad experiences there. Once I asked for a refill from the server and twenty minutes later it was not refilled. When she finally came back, I asked her again and she said "you know our fountains are right over there". My response was "then what hell is your job?" She lost about $10 in tips from my group right there, my tip was $0.01. Other times I've just gotten snide comments from the servers. So while I enjoy the food, it can be a frustrating experience. But hey, if the waiter/waitress treats you bad, at least your meal costs less.

This place is not spectacular in terms of food or atmosphere. The wings are okay, but you'd think with the word "wings" in their name, they'd be better. But, for the price, I guess they are pretty good. The beer is mediocre. Newcastles taste like Killians there. The other night they had a special on Sam Adams, though, which was actually pretty good - so I would recommend asking what's on special if they aren't already offering. The place gets pretty packed on the weekend, but this is not a surprise... it's a bar, with beer, and wings. At least there is a no-smoking section, it being also part-"family restaurant." This weird amalgamation of purposes makes it a weird place to be though. Usually it's full of college kids, very loud ones, or sports fans. The bar area has large round tables with stools. I don't know, the place is kind of big, loud, and uncomfortable. That's pretty much how I'd characterize the atmosphere. The wait staff is usually pretty attentive but there can be a long wait for food. Thanks to my friend Bobby, just about every waitress in the place probably has received my phone number on any available scrap of paper on the table, so really there's only one question. What gives, ladies? Call me.

This place is always busy. It has reasonable drink specials and great T.V. viewing. I don't think the food needs to be explained because if you don't know what the scoop on B-dubs is yet then you probably can't read this anyway.

For a chain bar, this one is pretty decent. Their food and beer are average but what makes this place great is that transports like my husband and I, who are huge NY Mets/Jets fans, can come here whenever there's a game on and watch on one of the bigs screens. Score. Also, a great place to go for groups.

if you want wings, come here. i am usually very stingy with my 5 stars, but they said they had good wings, and they did. i am not saying this place is any sort of culinary genius...i am saying that they deliver the type of cuisine you expect upon arrival. they have, i wanna say, 37 varieties of sauces (?)...and are not perturbed if u wanna mix and match ur flavors. i went with "hot," "chipotle," "teriyaki," and "parmesan and garlic." those probably would NOT have been my first choices, but i was sharing a 24 piece bone-in combo with a pal who does not share my passion for spice. despite that my usual flavors were not the ones ordered (i would have gone "fire" most definitely), the wings were reeallllly good! the parm-garlic was super flavorful, yet a bit of an overload....the table liked those the best (myself excluded). the other wings were perfect; traditional flavors and styles that made me sad that we dont have places like this here in LA...i know, i know...we have Wing Stop, etc. ....but there is something about the atmosphere and the vibe of a place like this and in this locale that made it even more tasty. basically, what i am saying is...... if u like wings, variety, and good beer, come here. Buffalo's really and truly delivered. xo- andrea

I recently started eating meat again after being vegetarian for several years, so naturally, I ordered wings. Note to self: Snack size is more than sufficient. I got the small, which was 12 pieces. I enjoyed the wings - they make sure the quality is the same across all chains. I enjoy fried pickles, so that is always a plus here! Actually, I didn't know I enjoyed fried pickles until bdubs, so I thank them for that. In general, everything fried is pretty good here. They do fundraisers too, so it's great if you're in a student organization. It's always fun going with all your friends and for a good cause!

after the Michigan game today they were totally swamped. the waiter named Jake was totally great! we were able to request other games to watch too, and the vibe in the table area next to the bar had a great vibe. the bartender whose name might have been Mariah or something got a little snappy and totally ignored me, but Jake was a redeeming factor. they seemed prepared for the crowd after a game.

Renovating this BDubs is a little bit like putting lipstick on a pig. At the end of the day the food is mediocre: If you want burgers - Go to Hopcat or take the ten minute walk up to Casey's. The burgers here have cheese that tastes like it's coming out of a kraft deluxe pack. If you want cheap beer - Go elsewhere unless you're here for happy hour specials which are ehhhhhhhh. If you want Michigan beer - Go to Ashley's or Hopcat. If you want a beer selection more than your standard drafts - Go to Ashley's or Hopcat. If you want fries - Go to hopcat. If you want cocktails - Why did you come to a BDubs? If you want wings - They're aight here, but you can get decent wings at Arena without the service and atmosphere problems (outlined below). But the service and atmosphere are SO. MUCH. WORSE.: If you want Trivia night - Try Arena it's great. And I hear Charley's is fun as well. Seriously there are so many trivia nights in Ann Arbor. The crowd for trivia night here is great and super smart. The host on the other hand is bland. Her questions, which only sometimes bring that extra indescribable punch of fun, rarely hit the mark for me. And while she's quite a nice person and matches music to her set, her delivery pales in comparison to some of the best trivia hosts I've seen. That being said come here if you want to be able to get a table for trivia. Or. If you're like me. And this is where you're friends go... It's not bad. It's just not great either. If you want decent service - Never. Come. Here. The waiters and waitresses universally seem as if they are lost. They don't really know how to split a check. I came weekly last semester and they got my beer order wrong at least 3 times. When I showed up post-renovation the wait for service (in a half full restaurant) was so long that I ended up leaving 10 minutes after my arrival having decided we may or may not have ever gotten served. And honestly people, the cheesesticks are alright and the boneless wings are ok (although I have strong suspicions that both are microwaved), but with so many other options in the area, seriously, why are you going to BDubs? Why? Not only does going to so many other superior local establishments more directly support the local economy, it will support your wallet, your taste buds, and your general happiness level when your waiter/waitress doesn't forget your order, mess up your order, spill your drink, or otherwise make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. Ultimately, I get it when people say "ughhhh, I will deal with service for good food I hate it when people write reviews on yelp for service," but believe me, the food is mediocre, but the service here really is just that bad. Stop. Think. Turn around. Walk 1-5 blocks away. Then you win. Nice new paint job though and some fancy new TVs. I could see watching a game here if I was 21 or 35 and didn't care all that much about things.

The server went above and beyond! She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu... 20 minutes, in fact! She didn't bother us by acknowledging we existed. She was just helping us concentrate, I'm sure. Nice gal. It took her another 10 minutes to bring our water. Perhaps she imported it from the Arctic. Who am I to judge? Although the food is good, I don't fancy growing old enough to collect Social Security benefits before it's time to pay.

We came here as planned to watch the NBA playoffs. It's few blocks from Ann Arbor Bed and Breakfast so it was very convenient to just stroll back if we had to drink more than usual. Well BWW will always be loud but not excessively loud. Everybody was just having fun! We had 2 rounds of cold draft beer, lemon pepper and buttery maple wings and everything went well at the bar. This was on a Sunday night.

Service here is consistently horrible. Today we waited an hour for our food. Our waitress did not give us any assurance during that hour. And before I waited 30 mins for an order to go. I love their boneless wings, but their service almost makes it not worth it.

My first decent experience at a Buffalo Wild Wings! (Or shall I say "B-Dubs," as you kids like to call it.) We have one of these back near my home in Jersey. I have only been there a few times, and every time it's been a total shitshow. You can almost never get a seat at the bar, service is shoddy, and the clientele leaves little to be desired. I also don't recall the wings being all that memorable, save for the mango habanero sauce, which is indeed very good. Fast forward to my recent trip to Ann Arbor where 10 or so of us managed to snag a bunch of tables in the bar area. We pushed them all together, and the carnage began immediately. I don't know how many pounds of wings or gallons of beer and shots we went through, but it was a lot. And it went on for hours and hours on end. My crew is very serious when it comes to beer, bourbon, and wings. Surprisingly, I found the wings to better than average. Piping hot, super crispy, and perfectly dressed. I can't say they beat my favorite wings back home at the Golden Lion Inn, but they were damn good. What really earned them the extra star though was the service. Our waiter was excellent. He was on top of our table all night long. My drink was never empty. And he brought the food out in perfect waves such that nothing ever got cold. Good stuff, B-Dubs! And good stuff the Michigan folks that hang out here. You are all decidedly less jamokey than your wing-loving compadres back in Jersey. I might actually come back!

We get carry out usually because we have small kids. They always get my order right, but it seems to take them forever! If they tell me 10 minutes, then it takes 20. Last time my husband went there to pick up our food he had to wait 30 minutes and then the food was cold.

I've come here twice since moving to Ann arbor. I LOVE the medium sauce but everything else I've ordered (salsa, pretzels, sweet BBQ, teriyaki, and lemon pepper) tasted like prepackaged food. Our server also didn't seem to know much about the beer, which I don't blame him for but the poor guy should be allowed to at least taste seasonal draft beers! On a lighter note, there are so many TV's you Dont have to worry about conversation or looking at your ugly date. Score!

I am so torn when it comes to BWW. I have to have wings every weekend - classic buffalo with blue cheese, and I love the food at BWW. I also love how many TVs they have. Makes it easier to keep track of my fantasy team during football season and catch the Michigan games during a downpour (I never miss a game but am a fair weather attendee). My only issue with this place is a big one, though. The service is consistently TERRIBLE. I've had the server take every order at the table except for mine and then disappear. I finally tracked her down, ordered a coke and didn't see it for 20 minutes, after I reminded her. My wings have showed up without sauce - my friends finished their meals before she came back and I could get more. I won't even get started on their general, surly attitude. Buffalo Wild Wings- treat your staff better, they seem pretty miserable. Your wings are great though!

They have TVs everywhere so it's a great place to watch a game, though the food = fried chicken so is meh. This is just like Wingstop, which perhaps is the West Coast version of the restaurant chain. The lemon pepper wings are still my favorite. My friends and I also got the dessert nachos, which is a strange concoction of ice cream and cheesecake bites on top of "elephant ears," which I had never heard of before but are essentially large, crispy cinnamon sugar chips. My recommendation is probably unnecessary, but come to cheer on your team, not primarily for food.

This BW3 location is alright. It's right in the middle of studentland U of M so it may not be the best for families or the older crowd. It does what BW3 is known for very well. Good boneless wings in a plethora of different sauces. Sports on the telly and lots of beer. My son (23 y/o) loves this place as I have brought him here for his birthday more than once and given him a gift card for here for Christmas as well. Service is adequate. Parking sucks but so does everywhere in Ann Arbor.

I generally like BWW because of the atmosphere and cheap food in front of your favorite sports teams, but our experience last night was just plain awful. We came in for a few beers, and when my fiancé went to order his drink, and he handed them his State of Illinois ID, the waiter told us there were a string of out of state fakes going around and he had to bring it to his manager. Not really in your best interest to alienate all out of state citizens, especially with hotter bars, like Hop Cat, on the scene. Then the waiter brought out his beer but almost walked away with his license and on top of that we didn't see our waiter for 45 min and had to flag over another.

Recently watched a game here and it was a great experience. They have a ton of TVs and promptly switched a couple to our game, the food and drinks were good, and the prices are super reasonable. Our bartenders, Katie and Derek were very friendly and provided great service. I would definitely come back here to watch a game.

I'm new to Michigan but not BWW. Came here with some grad students from UM. We got a nice long table in the back. I got the Bahama Mama ($6) which was great! We split a bunch of appetizers: okay nachos (I'm from Cali so I'm biased plus their cheese sucked), good fries and good fried pickles(!)! Good atmosphere. There were games on TV but I was enjoying my conversations. I'd definitely come back. We were here at around 5 pm so I'd like to come back and see the place on a game night (:

I have never had worse service at any restaurant in my entire life. My waitress, Becca, was extremely rude and didn't check on our table one time during our meal. We are our meals with no drink and had to track her down so we could pay. Worst experience I've ever had at a Buffalo Wild Wings.

The food is good, but the service needs some work. Its helpful when the server knows what is available, and consistently we ran into servers that were clueless. If you need a refill, you'll probably finish your meal and desert before you get one. TVs are on and loud and you can barely hear. It felt like utter chaos and we couldn't wait to leave.

3 stars may be stretching it, but what the heck. It's as about in the middle of the pack as you can get. Nothing terrible, nothing fantastic. My spinach and artichoke dip was a bit soupy, but not so much so that it didn't hold together somewhat. My SO seemed to enjoy her wings. Prices for those are in line with other places. The beer selection was not so great, though they did have a few I liked. My SO had mixed drinks that were on special, so that was cool. I wish they listed prices for all their adult drinks, though. Service was fine and the check came quick and was correct. Yep, a middle kind of place.

While reluctant to journey into the depths of Studentland, we've become big fans. Reasonable selection of beers, some decent food options, and TVs with access to nearly any sporting event you can imagine have us coming back pretty regularly. Service at the bar is particularly good, attentive, and friendly (Emma is there pretty often and does an excellent job!). Also have some nice specials which can be a good deal. The only downside can be the crowd. If you're not a fan of rude East Coast college kids, stay away on nights of big games (both Michigan games and any big East Coast pro or college team). The tools seem to especially come out on those nights and they're a bit much for us Midwesterners! :) Definitely recommended, assuming it's not too crowded.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings, but I've had several disappointments with this location. First time, I was with my boyfriend and upon our arrival we didn't receive service for 20 minutes. not even a drink order. after the lady did finally come to take our order, she promptly spilled our appetizer on us, which was salsa. she apologized, but had a horrible attitude for the rest of the meal. which makes no sense because we were perfectly understanding and polite about her mishap. the mistake didn't bother me, but her apparent irritation with us did. several months later I returned with my boyfriend and another couple for date night. once again, we sat and sat and sat. after the 20 minute mark when we hadn't even been spoken to by anyone besides the hostess, we just left and went elsewhere. I love they're food, but this location is simply not good at the customer service end of things. will definitely be going elsewhere for my wings from now on.

This review is solely for the service, it's the worst. The service is better at other locations. Granted, the food is not bad, boneless wings are decadent and the sauces are fused well into the chicken. --Drinks are begrudgingly, slowly refilled. --Servers play favorites with customers. --You hardly see your server --Takes way too long to be acknowledged by hostess to get seated, and to be acknowledged by a server once seated --Not welcoming staff overall, except for one, who I rarely see now Would recommend takeout

WINGS TUESDAYS at Bdups!! Extremely popular on Tuesday nights for their 40 cents wings. (Used to be 35 cents!) My favorite sauces are Asian Zing and Parmesan Garlic. Dont mess with Blazing - if you really want to give it a go, my advice is take it slow. It can really burn... I loved coming here late on Tuesday nights(to avoid the crowd) for wings and a few rounds of Photo Hunt. there are also various arcade game booths, pool tables and dart boards. fun!

This food made me the sickest I have ever been. Had the buffalo chicken pizza and within 10 minutes of eating my food had the worst stomach ache I've probably had in my entire life. It has been more than 24 hours since my visit and I am still encountering issues. After my experience I conducted a search and found that many other people have had similar problems to mine, especially after eating anything with their buffalo sauce. In general, all of the food is subpar, greasy, and rather bland. With so many unique, non-chain restaurants in Ann Arbor, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Worst service ever First they make you wait 45 mins for a table understandably its game day but 2 tables we noticed empty for 30 mins which after talking to the manager was a decision they made cause they were understaffed !!! and then we get seated and another 20 mins before we are greeted This place sucks the Novi location is awesome

Mmmmmm wiiings.... It's hard not to love a place that serves delicious wings with a gazillion sauce options, yummy potato wedges, ice cold beer, and TVs in every nook and cranny of the venue! They definitely know how to pack the place for special sporting events and hold sporadic wing eating contests (after partaking in one myself, I had to down nearly three pitchers of water and rub ice cubes on my tongue for 30 minutes to get rid of the burning sensation that ran from my mouth down my throat). Oh, but it was well worth it!

BWW is a good place to watch the game with a group of friends (if you can manage to get a table) and eat some finger foods. I feel like some of their entrees and appetizers are overpriced. The only thing that might be reasonably priced are the wings. Sometimes the wings are delicious, and sometimes they're all bones. Usually they're ok. They also serve beer and I think some mixed drinks so it's not too bad.

I watched the Michigan game here last weekend, and it was a great place to do so. It was packed with Michigan fans, there were plenty of tall beers and the service, despite the crowd, was pretty attentive. And also, I got much love for the spicy garlic sauce on the Naked Tenders. Was a little miffed when the big projector screen kept going out, but other than that, it was a lot of fun!

Oh man, how I miss my college days and Tuesday nights here. I remember taking full advantage of Wing Tuesdays and Leg Wednesday and whatever day they decided to throw on there. The wings are a toss-up: some days they're really good and moist with just enough sauce, and other days they're overcooked and dry and oh-my-god-that's-what-I-ordered. But even on a bad day, the wings were decent. During the weeks when I was waiting for my paycheck, I would order a whole bunch of wings on Tuesday and make it last till *next* Tuesday by eating wings with a side of rice and steamed veggie (asian style, baby). For getting me through my broke periods, I thank you B-dub. The 5-star is well deserved. Oh, and the margaritas and daiquiris are pretty good, too :)

Wings are hit or miss here, like many people already commented, they can be good if you get them fresh, or "vile" if you're unfortunate and get an older batch. The service is really the reason for the low ranking, because every single time I go to the A2 B-dubs whether its busy or slow I have a hard time placing my order if I sit down to eat. The take-out service is good with their buzzers, but for some reason when I eat the food there, the waitress' are few and far between and I have to repeat my order more than once. If you are a wing addict then I would say go there for that, but if wings aren't your thing I can't think why you should go to B-dubs in A2.

  • Jeff B.

Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen but wings were all overlooked. Tough, chewy, not worth the $. The servers failed to smile at anyone too. Glad they opened a BW's in this part of A2 but if the quality remains this way they might end up with the same fate as Damon's.

For the restaurant not being slammed, I received absolutely terrible service. Our server was visibly inconvenienced by our presence.

The wings are hit or miss--sometimes there's sauce covering the whole thing, sometimes there isn't. This is a great spot to hit up for a game, after work, or anytime you want to go out and not get dressed up. I'm a huge fan of Wednesday night trivia!

I loved coming here late on Tuesday nights(to avoid the crowd) for wings and a few rounds of Photo Hunt. there are also various arcade game booths, pool tables and dart boards. fun!

My burger wasn't cooked as I had wanted... the manager noticed my discontent and came over. He immediately took my burger away, brought me some fries while I waited for the replacement and then offered us free desert. Now THAT's Service!

Recently watched a game here and it was a great experience. They have a ton of TVs and promptly switched a couple to our game, the food and drinks were good, and the prices are super reasonable. Our bartenders, Katie and Derek were very friendly and provided great service. I would definitely come back here to watch a game.

  • M T.

Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen but wings were all overlooked. Tough, chewy, not worth the $. The servers failed to smile at anyone too. Glad they opened a BW's in this part of A2 but if the quality remains this way they might end up with the same fate as Damon's.

  • Ana Z.

    (3)
  • Jason A.

  • Meredith S.

Score!

  • Maddy E.

  • Jola B.

    (1)
  • Almaz M.

    (3)
  • Michael S.

    (3)
  • Amy G.

Legit location, right on State Street in downtown AA There's a BIG bar area and seating, as well as games to play!! like skee ball! Got a good deal for carry out - they have a separate area for that. they are open late which is cool! we got 24 wings for about $20 - good deal in my book 3 different flavors for the boneless wings *hot bbq - which isnt' as hot or bbq - y as you'd think it would be *mango habanero - real hot !!!! u def need to take a break btw wings * classic , just a solid choice of course they get cool pretty quick, but they aren't bad room temp

    (3)
  • Sean H.

    (1)
  • Patrick T.

It's more the atmosphere than the food. It's exactly what you think it will be -- food, beer, TVs. Would be nice if they had better TVs or better food. The beer is pretty good. The food is decent for a sports bar. The wings are consistently good. Parmesan garlic for the win!

    (3)
  • Jenna L.

  • Erin B.

The wings are hit or miss--sometimes there's sauce covering the whole thing, sometimes there isn't. This is a great spot to hit up for a game, after work, or anytime you want to go out and not get dressed up. I'm a huge fan of Wednesday night trivia!

Good wings, hot or mild, with the bone or boneless, Cold beer and pretty good service. A good place to grab a table and share a drink and a story or two. Lots of TV's on the walls and lots of seating. We will visit again when in downtown AA

I loved coming here late on Tuesday nights(to avoid the crowd) for wings and a few rounds of Photo Hunt. there are also various arcade game booths, pool tables and dart boards. fun!
