I just visited Cabin Creek and ordered 2 sandwiches for take out. I then added 2 brownies to the order. When I returned to my hotel the brownies had not been included in my package. I called Cabin Creek and explained what happened- the gal that took my call immediately said she would bring the brownies to my hotel. Now that is what I call customer service! The sandwiches AND the brownies were also excellent! Kudos to Cabin Creek!!

Sorry but I was on a long road trip and stopped in famished and desperately needing coffee to keep driving. Great atmosphere for a small town coffee shop but seriously, I threw up the muffin I ordered. I also threw out the coffee. The muffin just was not worth the calories and grease. It just seemed gross. The staff was very friendly though. Also it was overpriced for not that good.

It is the best place to grab an expresso drink in the area. Well, it's really the only place for expresso drinks in Alpena. Regardless, it's a cut place just adjacent to an antique shop where you can sit, relax and enjoy a hot beverage.

I stopped in for lunch while driving down to Detroit, and the food was good. The atmosphere of the place was nice, and the staff were pleasant. I had a half-portion of salad, and that was a perfect size. The greens were exceptionally fresh. The menu offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, and pizzas, and they have a handful of vegetarian options.

Recommended by a local. Food was super duper good! Salad crisp, soup hot and tasty and super large bowl, Flatbread cheese pizza per my 12 year old was not just cheese and sauce, it was cheese and sauce with something else delicious! I think they call it seasoning! Love it, pleasant surprise for a coffee shop!

Cool little place to take a break from shopping in downtown Alpena and grab a bite to eat. Has a nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. I am not a coffee drinker so this review might be a little incomplete, but the food has always been great and the staff has been very friendly. Perfect place to stop and grab lunch

This is such a wonderful little place I can't believe it has escaped being reviewed by some travelling Yelper yet. I was, luckily, referred here by the lady in the knitting shop, Yarns to Go, across the street. I generally look for little old mom and pop cafes to eat in but was sure glad to come in here today. I got some of their delicious coffee "Holiday Grog"), of course, some exquisitely delicious pumpkin-apple-something else I can't remember soup, some Farmers Strata, and it was a combo that came with a half chocolate muffin. Total was about $11 and worth every penny!

Had supper and two breakfasts here while attending the Alpena Blues Festival. The Sumatran coffee was great as were the Cuban panini and breakfast sandwiches.

Thank the Lord Alpena has you because there's no Starbucks in this town! This place is much warmer and cozier than any Starbucks! Awesome scones too!

Great atmosphere. Staff was courteous and friendly. Coffee was great and the food was absolutely delicious. A must if your in upper Michigan and looking for a nice cozy coffee shop.

Foul! Just foul. Some of the WORST coffee I've ever had anywhere I've traveled. I actually threw my cup of coffee way as it had an odor and taste of old, burnt folger's. Nice ambiance, such a shame both the espresso and coffee drinks are so horrifically bad.
