Had breakfast at JR'S this morning. Had something called "the garbage bowl " and it was outta this world. Home fries on the bottom, topped with sausage, peppers, onions and two eggs on top. Served with toast on the side. So yummy. Highly recommended. Would definitely order again. Loved it.

My new girlfriend at the time...who would become my wife reported she had the best Salmon of her life here when we went here while dating. This place was very popular as they opened before the smoking ban as a non smoking resturaunt. Good food at fair prices. I don't go often as I should because they do not make my drinks as spirited as I would like for the money they charge. Bartenders are always changing so it's hard to get a "regular" that takes care of you cuz your a " regular " and they know you tip well. But don't let that stop you. The food is very good and the logistics on how this place is run shows professional ownership and management. The Prime Rib is yummy.

Stopped by as we were passing through town after visiting racetrack. Nice place, clean restrooms. Beer selection is not wonderful but ok. Apps took 20 minutes. Cheese sticks and onion slices were good. Ordered hot chicken chunks and they were not hot and over breaded. Wife got a salad and said it wasn't good, chicken on the salad was not edible. Service was good. Overall just ok. Won't make a point to return the next time we are in Adrian.

My experience in this restaurant was a heck of a lot better than some of the 5 stars I've given in higher class restaurants. Here goes: We were a party of 12 that called ahead for a table on a busy Saturday evening. We were 5 minutes late and they said after 5 minutes, their policy is to give the table up, which is what they had done. Ugh, it would be another hour before we could get a table. I've never been known to have much patience and I was frustrated and told our family to go somewhere else. While we were in the parking lot deciding where to go, the hostess races out, says she can have our table ready in 15 minutes if we choose to stay. Sold! Not only that, the manager comped us 2 free appetizers for our troubles. He came to our table and personally talked to us and thanked us for our business. Although that policy is quite strict, technically we were the ones that didn't follow it. It's EXTREMELY rare that any establishment would value your business so much, and I cannot say enough about how that won me over. The food was standard for that type of restaurant but very good. They serve a variety of steak, burgers, and mexican. Although we could have been eating dog food and it wouldn't have mattered. Their customer service was some of the best I have seen anywhere. Great job!

Nice daily specials, and good food. The place was packed for lunch, and appeared to be many locals. Always a good sign. We were seated quickly, but it seemed like we waited a long time for our food?

I love their burgers. The bar area is kind of small and crowded and I dont like to sit at a table by myself, so I come here with friends and we get a table. My bud says the prime rib here is the bomb.

Food and service were both excellent. I'm not from here so this was a surprising and very pleasant find in Adrian. I had the salmon with mixed vegetables and both were prepared to near perfection. Nice beer selection.

I love JRs - GREAT STEAKS. very quick service. I recommend: steak house salad, sirloin, tbone and ribeye are all incredible. This restaurant makes up for no major steakhouse chains being in our area, but... might be better than most of them.

Superb! One of the best hamburgers I've had in a very long time. Service was very fast, very friendly. Everything was clean. Restrooms were clean. Food was hot, and was delivered fast, too. Burger was HUGE, juicy and cooked just as we asked. Atmosphere is casual, so jeans are okay, but I wouldn't feel out of place more dressed up, say in dressy casual. One drawback: a lack of vegetarian fare.

I love the food here. Salmon is my favorite and the service is usually excellent. I do think they should expand to a bigger place to give the place less of a diner feel add more ambiance and the wine list really needs expanded but if youre just looking for good food nothing fancy this is the place in Adrian.

Great service. A lot of food for the cost. Took a college athletics team here and every guy walked out full. Have a full menu with a lot of choices from Mexican to burgers to salads to steak and everything in between. Highly recommend if you are in the area or looking for a cool little bar and grill.

One of the better places to eat in Adrian. Good atmosphere and great service. After eating at the bar one night it was a little disappointing to see so much food coming out of microwave bags. Most of the food tastes good, but it's pretty equivalent to the quality of Applebee's which means it's not special or fresh.

Great restaurant! Very reasonably priced and they always have a different special going on every day of the week. Very fast service, all the employees are fimilar with the menu and can help you decide if you don't know what you want! JR's has a country theme to it with great sandwiches, steaks, pasta bowls and drinks! Family friendly sitdown area with a little bar as well.

Took the Wife for dinner out. The atmosphere is pretty great. The night we were there they seemed to be training new waitresses as they were working in tandem and kept bugging you whether it was their table or not - only when you had a mouthful of food:). The food was okay. My wife had French dip and sweet potato fries and I had the steak salad. More than once she was picking gristle from her mouth and the salad had this cous cous oily dressing? I wish it had the blue cheese crumbles instead. The steak was cooked to order but had no flavor? Too bad really I was looking for the grilled salty crunch of the beef:( All that said I would come back to give them another shot.
