I'm local that figured this was just another coffee shop, boy was I wrong! I had no idea what I was missing out on! Fresh deliciousness and a super cool vibe! I'm coming back soon!!!!!

This little coffee and donut shop is hidden across from Hannaford. Inside you will smell fresh donuts right out of the fryer with unique flavors. They also have real eggs sandwiches on biscuits . Everything is wicked yummy!!! The coffee and lattes are good but not the best in the state , prices are high for coffee. Worth a visit when in the area you will be happy you did.

Fantastic little breakfast spot! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is great. Breakfast is served all day and includes an awesome assortment of donuts and breakfast sandwiches. They also have smoothies and coffee specialties galore.

This was my wife and I's favorite spot! Great coffee and really great food. The BTC (Betsy) was my usual. Wish they'd open a St. Joe's in St Louis!

Every once and a while you get surprised. had fresh made Bennies great and had fresh made donuts. WOW what a way to start a Saturday!!! BTW the ice coffee was good too.

Woman at When Pigs Fly recommended this place for a coffee. We went in about half an hour before closing and they were very friendly and helpful. We got a coffee and a latte - both were delicious. Wanted to try the Bennies, but had a huge lunch. Next time. And the place is super cute and quaint. You want to get your coffee or breakfast sandwich or something sweet here if in the Kittery area.

For the life of me I have no idea why I have never reviewed this place yet......it's only my favorite coffee shop in the whole state of Maine!! I have never had a bad anything there. The girls who work there are adorable and sooo sweet. I love lattes and their beans are perfectly roasted. I have also tried just about every flavor that they have (except the fireball) and each are consistently good. The pumpkin one is actually made with real pumpkin puree. Sounds weird but it was great. The maple cream flavoring is my favorite. It's seasonal and made from their own concoction they keep in the fridge. The drinks are not overly sweet like some places- which I personally prefer. I have never tried their sandwiches but my friends rave about them. They offer a wide variety of beverages for those who don't want coffee i.e. fresh smoothies, tea, juices and other iced drinks. I also love their yummy baked goods which are all made in house. Some of the things I like are the orange coconut scone, chai scone, blueberry lemon ugly stick, the cinnamon sugar ugly stick, and their soft oatmeal choc chip cookie. Honestly, this place is worth the try. I have been known to drive 20 min out of my way just for one of their lattes. Definitely one of Maine's hidden gems.

What's not to love? An everything donought with four types of cream and jimmies! The coffee is decent, too.

Large, delicious and fresh breakfast sandwiches! Good coffee and cozy place. Try the bennies- awesome. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area

This place is absolutely amazing. They have quite a variety of drinks, including coffee crushes, fruit smoothies, fresh ice teas made with loose-leaf tea, and a huge variety of flavored lattes. St. Joe's also has delicious and unconventional pastries that are baked in-house (coconut-orange scones, chocolate-espresso muffins, blueberry-lemon twists). This place is relatively new (less than two years) and it has quickly become my favorite coffee place in the area.

Wow what an amazing find! We were headed to 95 from York Beach, searching for a bite to eat before heading off. It's across from the Irving Gas station at a stop light next to True value hardware. My husband got the bagel with cream cheese and salmon with sprouts and tomato. He loved it. I got the Betsy, a massive biscuit with egg bacon cheese and tomato. YUM! Coffee was fresh and green mint tea was delish. The kids got chocolate chocolate iced donuts. The only thing that knocked it down to a 4 star was that my peanut allergic 4 year old wouldn't eat the donut after 1 bite. They did have some peanut butter pastry in the case as well so I suspect there was some cross contamination. The kids also got Nantucket Juice which is the best. Overall highly recommended. Breakfast served all day.

St. Joe's is a nice little shop that has some nice looking baked goods, "the Bennie" and mediocre espresso. I'm sorry to say the last bit, because everything seemed so nice, but in my quest to find the best espresso places around the country, I can't pull any punches. On the plus side, St. Joe's coffee was actually better than I had expected it to be. Everything about how it was made and how the drink looked made me think it was going to be undrinkable. This was not the case, however. The espresso flavor wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. The beans hadn't been over-roasted, which is a good place to start. The microfoam was overly frothy and the texture was off, but it was drinkable, so that was good. Oh, and no latte art.

A gem. Hard to find a place that does such good food without too high a price, compared to the rest of the tourist-y shops in town. Coffee is perfect temperature and flavor, variety of roasts to choose from. Also a large selection of homemade pastries. Their breakfast sandwiches are in a league of their own; they make their own biscuits and have a unique variety of meats and produce to make the sandwich with. Also offer English-muffin and bagel sandwiches.

Breakfast sandwiches are delicious (5 stars). Coffee is a little on the pricy side.

  • Lisa A.

Really yummy Bennys! Hot and sweet. You can't get them anywhere else that I know of north of NC. Food is tasty and cheap, and there are choices for vegitarians! I would give five stars if the place was a bit cleaner, but it really could use a good scrubbing.

  • Randy B.

I can say I don't go to a lot of coffee shops, but this place has Great coffee!! I like iced coffee, black. The staff is friendly and they have a large selection for breakfast. If your looking to fill your belly get the lil Joe, it would fill a lumberjack.

What's a "Bennie?" I wondered. So we stopped by to check it out since there was a sign outside saying that they offered bennies. I thought it was a speciality coffee drink, but it's basically a couple of small doughnuts. Small sugary doughnuts that my friends said tasted similar to the French beignets. They were too sweet for me, and a bit too doughy for my taste These aren't nearly as good as the French beignets, but at least I learned something.

Whatever was going on a few days ago to displease Janet, they fixed it! The place is nice and clean and the help was nice too. Good place for a brief sit-down, a sweet and a good decaf. Plus, found some shade from the late afternoon sun.

  • Elyse L.

You can't miss this place if you're in the York area. Good coffee - but it's the breakfast sandwiches and the bennies that are really the stars at St. Joe's. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are to die for (try adding a hash brown to one!) and the made-to-order bennies are absolutely delicious (especially with the chocolate dipping sauce!)

We have been here three times. Every time great breakfast sandwich. Every time rude staff. Professionalism goes a long way!

  • Pigeon S.

Great iced coffee, egg and cheese sandwiches (I got an English Muffin but they have home made biscuits too) and Bennies. A must try!

  • Kasey K.

Went here on a recommendation the other day and tried their breakfast sandwich and bennies. The biscuit the sandwich was on was outstanding! The bennies were good, but I didn't see anything outstanding about them. They were like little freshly fried doughnuts. The place was very hot inside and the staff could be friendlier, like maybe even a little friendly, but the sandwiches, especially the biscuit made up for it. Overall, I'd go again.

  • Ali P.

This place used to be a go-to for me and my friends during high school, but after experiencing other coffee shops and after time, this place has gone downhill in the worst ways. The prices are outrageous for mediocre food that's poorly made. The past several times I've gone, my order has been wrong. Nobody seems to know what they're doing, and it shows in the quality of their food and coffee. The iced coffee is usually warm, I've received cold breakfast sandwiches before, and they only put cream cheese on one side of the bagel. I'd recommend somewhere else if you're looking for a quick cup of coffee and a good breakfast.

I call this place...punk rock coffee shop! The only coffee shop that I have ever been in, that had the dead kennedy's on the stereo :-) Tops place!

  • Steve P.

We stopped in for a coffee but after seeing the breakfast sandwich menu, we needed to get one! To get as much taste as we could, two of us got two sandwiches and split them--recommended! We had the Popeye which featured a fluffy biscuit and a perfect layering of egg, spinach, tomatoes and feta. We also had the Ranchero which was a perfectly cooked English muffin with turkey bacon, pepper jack cheese and avocado. You wouldn't be disappointed by either!

This place is amazing!! We stayed in York over memorial day weekend and got our coffee and breakfast here every morning! The coffee was delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are sooo good!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a must if you're ever on Route 1

  • Janet W.

Ok. They have good coffee. BUT. The place is dirty. They need someone paying attention to their inside eat at counter, coffee prep station and outside eating area as well. Last time I was there, they thru a dirty cloth at a customer to wipe off outdoor seats and then when the customer returned the cloth, they put it on the counter where they prepare baked goods. No thank you .

I do like this place. Good food and good service. However it was so hot in the place the workers were dripping in sweat. Kinda not appealing when the person cooking your food is dripping into it. So hot it was almost too hard to even wait for the food. I felt very bad for the workers. Is it this way all the time once the temps rise?

Stopped in for breakfast to go on my way home from work one day. The sandwiches are different - sort of omelettes on biscuits. Pretty good. The coffee was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I'd moved to town last year and never been so a friend took me. The first time I went I ordered a pumpkin pie frozen drink and it tasted like crap. It wasn't sweet it tasted like if you were to just eat pumpkin guts. I gave them a break since it was the first day that was on the menu, but I still found it unacceptable. I went a few dats ago with my sister to give it another try because i wanted to make sure it was decent. I ordered a strawberry smoothie because I didn't feel like coffee at the time. Usually strawberry smoothies are pretty hard to screw up too. We'll it wasn't hard for them. Literally it was ice and strawberry a that weren't sweet at all and actually had little to no taste, tossed into a blender and poured into a cup. That was all for the lovely price of 6 dollars. I can get a strawberry smoothie at McDonald's for about 2 dollars for WAY better quality and taste. My sister ordered a gingerbread jot coffee and she said that it was okay, but she could make better at home. Don't waste your time here. Go to Starbucks which is 5 minutes up the road.

Delicious, quality ingredient biscuit sandwiches the size of softballs. Nuff said. Lots of choices - egg or egg white, different types of breakfast meat, cheese, etc. The bennies with blueberry sauce should be included in your order whatever you do. It's Maine afterall! The iced coffee was large and just as good if not better than Dunkin. We normally would go to the Goldenrod, but chose to skip the long lines for tables and I am more than happy we did! St. Joe's might have to be our new nostalgic breakfast hangout when we get up to the York area.

I came on a recommendation from some friends in York. Good coffee and the biscuit sandwiches are yummy but way too big for me. I wound up taking the top off and then the bottom, before still giving up. The bennies are also tasty, my husband thought they were super sweet so he wasn't a fan. I ate his :). I might come back for an indulgent bennies and coffee breakfast someday.

Always excited to try a new (to me) coffee place. We spotted St. Joe's while waiting in traffic and decided to pull in and see what they had to offer. Plenty of parking, and while several people were milling around and waiting for their food inside, it didn't feel cramped. Customer service was a bit (a lot) lacking. The woman who took our order seemed put out that we had actual questions about the coffee. I guess we should have known all the monthly special coffees and teas were only served hot. I'm sure anyone would have guessed that right off the bat in June... Anyway, she took our coffee order and our sandwich order (we figured we'd try one as hummus sounded good) and then we waited. And waited. When our coffee was done, it was wrong. I haven't ordered sugar in my coffee since 2008. It had sugar. We said, sorry this is wrong and the woman actually said to the cashier (who had taken our order), didn't they say sugar and she nodded her head and said yes! Right in front of us. How rude. She finally dismissively said to just make another one. Which I have to say the woman got wrong again by putting barely any cream after asking us if we did mean extra cream. . Passive aggressive much? Luckily, there were do it yourself creamers so we fixed it and the two stars is for how delicious the coffee tasted. The hummus "sandwich" was a joke. It was a miniscule amount of hummus on a barely toasted English muffin with 1 tomato slice and a ton of sprouts for around five dollars. What a rip-off. I also found the woman making the sandwiches lacking in customer service too. Another patron, standing right next to me as she too waited an inordinate amount of time for a seemingly basic sandwich, happened to ask what the new restaurant next door was going to be and the woman barked at her the name and said pizza. It was really rude and uncalled for. I wouldn't stop in again. Not worth it for the price and lack of customer service even if the coffee was yummy.

The breakfast sandwiches and beignets (listed on the menu as "beanies") are hardy and good but everything else is disappointing. The coffee drinks taste like price club slurry and the barista station was filthy and looked unsanitary. My expectations where better met at Anthony's (1/2 mile North on Rt 1).

    (3)
  • J. C.

I don't usually get flavored coffee but the coconut coffee is actually delicious. I could tell their regular coffee was good too, but when I went back in I got the coconut coffee again. It didn't disappoint. There's a line out the door, no air conditioning, and not much seating. But both food and coffee are the best in town. The Southwest biscuit sandwich was spicy and tasteful--on a homemade biscuit. Dripping with grease? Well, yes. Delicious? Better than any breakfast sandwich you've had lately. They have healthy options which are just as good. The egg white broccoli sandwich is fantastically good but you cannot eat it in the car. Because it's so damned good, it drips and makes a mess. So, if you want neat, get yourself an Egg McMuffin. If you want excellent, try this. The homemade donuts are terrific, and get this--they know how to make a cappuccino (which seems to be a bit rare in York where they don't seem to know a cappuccino from a latte). Not as good as the Kookoo cafe's latte but a four star cappuccino and they at least know what it is. There's a reason people stand in line for St. Joe's--the coffee and the food both rate five stars.

Whenever I visit my friend in York, we always go to Joe's! The coconut coffee is enough of a reason to go. However, this morning I was in a rush to drive home, and stopped for a breakfast sandwich. My egg whites were sitting on the counter for 30 minutes before I asked if that was my sandwich. They were cold after sitting there for a half an hour, so the two girls working grudgingly made me a new sandwich. All in all, I got one really good sandwich, eye rolls from the disinterested teenagers working, and got caught in Memorial Day traffic because of the delay. I will be coming back, but this experience was not great. Hopefully next time it will be better.

First time coming here. This is tucked away but well worth the stop. Breakfast and coffee were wonderful. I'm not a biscuit person, but when in Rome...I loved it! Had the Betsy! Am looking forward to getting breakfast tomorrow morning!

  • Wendy W.

Oh MY! Delish! This was the best breakfast sandwich. I went simple and got sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit. All home made. There were 4 VERY hard working women feeding breakfast to a huge crowd and the orders were coming out as ordered, fresh made. Very impressive shop.

    (4)
  • Brian O.

Surly counter help. $4 for a medium latte. Probably wouldn't come back here. No greeting when I walked up to the counter, just "what can I get for you" with pretty much a scowl. There are a lot of options in this area. Personally I'll try them before coming back here.

  • Ji J.

This place has the best carrot muffin. Their staff is very friendly as it is very important to this small town and there aren't many options to go for simple and easy breakfasts. Their special flavored iced coffee seems little bit over priced but it was good. I would love to go back this place.

  • Charlie D.

Yummy, great original breakfast sandwiches and biscuits, different kinds of iced coffees, and a cute small outdoor patio setup to eat outdoors on temperate days. Definitely worth a stop if you're headed to York or Ogunquit, as it's only about 15 minutes south of the Stonewall Kitchen area of US1.

Great breakfast sandwiches. Great service. Great coffee options. This is a daily stop for folks in our household.

  • Jamie R.

I love this place so much. They have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches that cater to the average breakfast seeker to the culinary diverse. The same goes with the drinks they offer. Lately, I have been a fan of the Goat Rock sandwich (egg, Klamath olives, goat cheese and shiitake mushroom on a biscuit) and the pumpkin chai (their house made chai with a scoop of pumpkin purée-no syrups!). I only gave them 3 stars though because they're service tends to be quite inconsistent. My drinks are often made I consistently as well as the sandwiches. Today, they served my goat rock to me on a burnt biscuit. What??!

    (3)
  • Duane S.

The quality of the breakfast sandwiches are great. I have never seen biscuits like this before. It's like a mix between an English muffin and biscuit. While they are pricey, the sandwiches are so tasty.

    (4)
  • A U.

I like the breakfast biscuit sandwich a lot. They put way too much egg In it for my taste but that's better than complaining about not enough. They are a quick and easy place to go to which is good in the morning when I'm in a rush.

    (4)
  • Chip K.

Excellent Americano's and the breakfast biscuit sandwiches are delicious and filling too. Just wish I had eaten more Bennies while I was there!

  • Morgan D.

Went to St. Joes Coffee after reading about it on Yelp. It is a cute little place, but no seating other than a counter with bar stools, so not ideal for sitting to read the paper. We had the specialty of 'bennies' which are tasty, little fried dough balls covered with powdered sugar. You can have them with dipping sauce...and when you are eating deep fried dough, why not? I had the chocolate sauce which was a bittersweet chocolate - a perfect contrast to the powered sugar sweetness. Thumbs up for their coffee - a good local brew! All in all, a fun decadence during a visit to Maine.

  • Eric L.

Amazing place, I'm jealous I don't live closer to York now, we only get to stop on vacations. The Goat Rock is perfection (egg, Shitake, goat cheese, olives on a homemade bisquit). Bennies and coffee are perfection. If there's a line out the door, don't worry, it's worth it.

    (5)
  • Janie W.

The coffee's very good here. And the breakfast sandwiches are hearty enough to guarantee a heart attack in a very good way. I had the Goat Rock - eggs, goat cheese, olives, and shitakes - yum. Plus a hash brown. Would definitely return to check out the other offerings.

Exceptional breakfast sandwich and great coffee! After I was finished riding in the area without anything to eat all day, I needed a good cup of coffee with something small, but tasty to eat, just enough until I got back to NH. I made a late afternoon stop at St. Joe's Coffee located across the street from Hannaford. I walked in here around 4:55PM and the place was about to close up around 5PM. I was greeted by the friendly staff and took a quick moment to decide what I wanted. St. Joe's Coffee offers several kinds of brewed Seacoast Coffee (hot or iced), espresso drinks, chai lattes, several tea blends (Portsmouth Tea Co), hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow, fresh squeezed OJ and homemade lemonade. This place is home of the Bennie which are deep fried dough balls covered in powdered sugar served with dipping sauce, plus they serve breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I decided on a large cup of dark roast coffee ($1.95) and a breakfast sandwich with egg, chorizo, sweet & spicy peppers, & American cheese on a buttermilk biscuit ($3.95). Though it was closing time, the grill was heated up and sandwich was prepared to order, with the egg, ingredients, and biscuits being grilled. I thanked the staff for making me a breakfast sandwich at closing time. It was not a problem at all since they enjoy what they do. The coffee was great and had a nice smooth flavor. The freshly prepared breakfast biscuit sandwich was just AMAZING and delicious, which tasted similar to a spicy sausage, peppers, & cheese omelet served on a semi sweet biscuit. This sandwich was way better than the sandwiches I've had at the other popular coffee places (Dunkins and the Bucks) which nuke their breakfast sandwiches. After breakfast (should I say early dinner), I had a fairly decent drive back home, good and recharged! HOURS: 6AM-5PM Daily

Nutella. Latte. That is all. Just kidding, I had the chicken biscuit too, which was delicious and well worth the price I paid. The cream cheese on it was unexpected, being mildly spicy, and also the best part. I was sent here by a friend and I'll be coming back many more times.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm in there a lot. I mean when they tell me that my coffee card is full and I get a free drink I realize the week hasn't passed. They are friendly even during busy rushes, and the food is awesome. Seriously the best place to get breakfast in the Seacoast. The doughnuts are good, but the breakfast sandwiches take it to the next level. Homemade biscuits, fresh ingredients, its good food. Just typing this review makes me want to get in my car and go get a "Betsy". (Get one you will understand what I'm talking about)

  • Pamela A.

Great coffee! I know a lot of people are giving 5 stars. I guess, I'm just not that easy. While I do love this place, it isn't exactly a finely oiled machine. The coffee is outstanding! Brewed nice & strong. Lots of varieties - whether you like bold, dark, complex coffee roasts or the ones that are "flavored" like butterscotch or blueberries - whatever you like they probably have you covered. The food is also commendable. Especially the breakfast sandwiches. The portions are a bit large (kind of a con for me but certainly not for many) but the sandwiches are tasty. They make sandwiches in biscuits or english muffins (and maybe bagels if you ask nicely & get the right person). My husband loves the Goat Rock sandwich (eggs, goat cheese & mushrooms on a biscuit) and the Crispy Chicken Biscuit (Jalapeno cream cheese, boneless fried chicken piece on a biscuit). I usually go between the Mushroom (mushrooms, cheese & egg on a biscuit), Falafel (falafel, spicy cream cheese, tomato & cucumber), and the Betty (eggs, cheddar, bacon, tomato on a biscuit). Anyways, these sandwiches are hearty & very satisfying. Baked goods are hit or miss. I've had enough dry donuts or scones to make me a bit wary of choosing something from the bakery case. When they get it right, the donuts are outstanding. Personally, I think the bennies are over-rated (maybe sacrilege to say) but I think that fried balls of dough with sweet syrupy dipping sauces is always go to be a crowd favorite and that's not a particularly difficult concept to figure out nor execute. So I don't it's very note-worthy. Service is okay. The dude that does a lot of the cooking is very friendly and responsive but I don't always get that impression from staff manning the cash register. They tend to take awhile to get through the line. With the exception of the dude, they do not seem to handle the crowds very smoothly. Pros: Breakfast sandwiches, you won't be hungry after going here, coffee, easy parking, convenient location for heading in or out of York Cons: Kinda slow service, sandwiches are over-loaded & get messy fast, baked goods may be very dry

Husband and I were on vacation and we loved it so much we ate here both days (preferring this over the free breakfast at our bed and breakfast). Not much room inside to sit and eat, but there are tables outside if the weather is nice. They open nice and early (earlier than anything I saw around the area). The breakfast sandwiches are HUGE! The coffee is delicious! (had their light roast) I had the ranchero egg white sandwich. It was hot and super fresh. The avocado was super creamy and delicious. Every element on the sandwich was delicious. My husband had the sausage and egg on the biscuit. I went back the next day and had the ham, scallion, and egg on their homemade biscuit. It was fall-apart super delicious and fresh! We also had some of their pastries. I got the cinnamon roll (which was delicious) and hubby got the chocolate chip cookie. It's quick, cheap, friendly, and delicious. Locals and tourists flock here. We were there at about 6:30am both mornings and did not wait long at all for our food.

  • Jacob O.

I'd give it five stars if they weren't so inconsistent with the quality of their sandwiches. When I told them the biscuit was burnt the past two times I ate here... this girl that works there told me "sometimes the batch gets burnt and we have to sell them". Uhhh, say what!? So you want to lose customers? Is the question I kept asking myself. Glad I I paid for a sandwich I can't bite through. Got the mushroom again and maybe five slices of mushrooms and a few slivers of onions. Never again will I go there! Kinda sucks looking forward to such a small thing in your life and it puts a damper on your day due to poor quality control. If you do decide to give this a try, then hope one of the two guys are working the grill because they know how to make it right! Although the doughnuts are pretty delicious and the drinks are good but I've had too many bad experiences to give it more than two stars. I'd maybe give it 2 1/2.

Their coffee is good, but the real star is their fresh breakfast sandwiches and "bennies" or beignets. Very small interior and limited outside seating.

We were looking for a non-chain coffee shop to stop for a hot tea and Yelp pointed us to St. Joe's Coffee. It's a small place, with very few tables and chalkboard menus. They had a long list of breakfast sandwiches around five dollars which we will keep in mind for the next time we're in the area. My husband had a tea and I had a White Heron Chai which was very good, although not as spicy as I like my chai. They also had a menu of specialty drinks like Salted Caramel Latte, which I had missed before I ordered or I would have tried that instead. Maybe they'll have it on offer the next time we come through town. They also have a falafel muffin and a hummus muffin, which would be interesting to sample, maybe! Also, the internets tell me they have beignets, which are a doughnut type confection from New Orleans. Would have liked to have tried that. Looking forward to trying more things on a future visit.

Killer breakfast biscuit sandwiches and probably the best option for coffee in the area. Get there early to beat the crowds, but it's worth the wait if you have to stand in line.

St. Joe's Rocks!!! The drinks, the food and the staff are all first rate. This is by far the best place in the Yorks to grab a quick breakfast. Make sure you take a few minutes to read their extensive menu before you order and don't be afraid to try one of the less traditional breakfast sandwiches like the Falafel or Margarita.

This place is top notch. Where else can you get a pumpkin latte that actually has pumpkin in it. The breakfast sandwich is fantastic also. Served on a homemade biscuit. The only bad I can say was the lack of seating. But we made due by eating on the tailgate of the truck. With the amount of people going through there it would be tough to seat them all as there were a bunch of locals going there. And that's always a good sign.

Their pumpkin latte is actually made from real pumpkins. So much better than the sweet syrupy stuff you get at Starbucks. The Bennies are small donut bites made to order so they're always fresh and taste delicious with the maple cinnamon sauce.

Nutella.

The coffee's very good here. And the breakfast sandwiches are hearty enough to guarantee a heart attack in a very good way. I had the Goat Rock - eggs, goat cheese, olives, and shitakes - yum. Plus a hash brown. Would definitely return to check out the other offerings.

Oh MY! Delish! This was the best breakfast sandwich. I went simple and got sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit. All home made. There were 4 VERY hard working women feeding breakfast to a huge crowd and the orders were coming out as ordered, fresh made. Very impressive shop.

Surly counter help. $4 for a medium latte. Probably wouldn't come back here. No greeting when I walked up to the counter, just "what can I get for you" with pretty much a scowl. There are a lot of options in this area. Personally I'll try them before coming back here.

This place has the best carrot muffin. Their staff is very friendly as it is very important to this small town and there aren't many options to go for simple and easy breakfasts. Their special flavored iced coffee seems little bit over priced but it was good. I would love to go back this place.

What??!

    (3)

The quality of the breakfast sandwiches are great. I have never seen biscuits like this before. It's like a mix between an English muffin and biscuit. While they are pricey, the sandwiches are so tasty.

Really yummy Bennys! Hot and sweet. You can't get them anywhere else that I know of north of NC. Food is tasty and cheap, and there are choices for vegitarians! I would give five stars if the place was a bit cleaner, but it really could use a good scrubbing.

I like the breakfast biscuit sandwich a lot. They put way too much egg In it for my taste but that's better than complaining about not enough. They are a quick and easy place to go to which is good in the morning when I'm in a rush.

Oh MY! Delish! This was the best breakfast sandwich. I went simple and got sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit. All home made. There were 4 VERY hard working women feeding breakfast to a huge crowd and the orders were coming out as ordered, fresh made. Very impressive shop.

  • Brian O.

Their pumpkin latte is actually made from real pumpkins. So much better than the sweet syrupy stuff you get at Starbucks. The Bennies are small donut bites made to order so they're always fresh and taste delicious with the maple cinnamon sauce.
