I'm really surprised this isn't rated higher than China Taste. My husband and I have tried both and this is the winner hands down! Their pu pu platter for two is delicious. My only complaint is that they put shredded lettuce in their fried rice. It gives the rice a slightly strange taste and is a pain to pick out, but necessary if like me you don't want soggy lettuce in your fried rice. Their beef teriyaki easily makes up for this though!

Friendly staff and reasonably fast service, but the food is cooked with too much oil for my taste. Perhaps because of the oil, most dishes taste a bit bland. While they do have some dine-in seating, the ambiance is not all that appealing. Stick to takeout. Panda Garden in Portland seems to have the least oil and most flavor in their offerings, of the restaurants I have tried in the area.

Best local Chinese takeout in the area, by far. Love their wonton soup. Friendly staff. Szechuan chicken and General Tso's both tasty.

Heard great stuff about this place...tried the chicken low mein, and crab rangoons. It was the worse chinese food I've ever had. I didn't know low mein could taste so terrible. Crab rangoons were basically just cream cheese. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd recommend happy garden is scarborough. Much better. Or saeng thai in portland...they know how to make crab rangoons!

What I really like about this place is when he is cooking you can see most of it in plain view. I enjoy seeing my food made fresh. They both were friendly and the food I ordered was a combo plate and for the price I got a lot of food. It was a good deal. I will be going again!

I ordered take-out from them several times....The price was always different...They try to get away with charging more each time you order from them....If they feel they can get away with charging more for an item, they do so...Always check the prices on their menu before you order...If you do not do this, they will rip you off one or two dollars...

Veggie Fried rice is really good, so was our veggie lo mein! also ordered sesame tofu, and it was PERFECT. They are willing to work around your dietary preferences, and they don't use MSG. Will absolutely do takeout here again!

I've been craving Chinese food all day and decided due to the snowy weather that I would stay local to satisfy my Chinese tooth. I stopped by the Little China Express on a snowy evening after work and ordered the Pupu Platter for one. I ate the meal upon arriving home (some of it anyway. my stomach isn't big enough for the whole thing). For the portions you are getting, the prices are very reasonable. The platter was just under ten dollars. The fried chicken and shrimp were good. The egg roll was not what I was used to flavor-wise but it was huge and paired well with the side of duck sauce they gave me. The barbecue spare ribs smelled a little off, like, oddly enough, coconut flakes. I'm not sure if this means they are still good or if they have been sitting in the fridge for a little too long. The beef teriyaki stick was good, though I wish it had been more on the rare side. Next time I plan on trying a more heart-healthy meal, like snow peas and lo mein or pad thai. The staff were very accomodating and friendly and I appreciated the free hot tea on a cold February evening. They need to do a little work with the decorations, as you could see all of the boxes for the kitchen which were barely hidden by a mural. It was also very quiet. I was hoping for some background Chinese music, or anything, other than that awkward silence as I waited for my food. Needs some improvements but otherwise a good 3 star experience.

Something is wrong with the rating system when the vast majority give this restaurant 4 stars, and 2 people give it 1 star. I would question the motive of the individuals. I would not question the food. Try it. it's very good.

Not bad for Yarmouth. Crab ragoons are good - so is the lo mein. Fried rice is average. Tried delivery once, it took an hour longer than quoted, but owner was very apologetic. If you are craving cheap and decent Chinese food, this is the place.

Easy 4 stars. Is there a 4 .5? Comparable to our favorite china villa in westbrook. Very good beef and broccoli. Decent portions, good prices, and a touch of refinement that leads me to believe the cook knows his stuff. We wll be back soon.
