New to Maine...... I have been looking for a great burrito place... Bruce's burritos is my new burrito home!

we had an excellent burrito place where we lived in the Bangor area and were very happy to find Bruce's when we moved here. Love their burritos and quesadillas with sweet potatoes! The corn and garlic salsa is really good too! Bonus points to them for sending out a daily specials list.

This place introduced me to burritos and I'm thankful for it. I figured that a burrito in Maine would never compare to those I would experience as I grew and traveled, but I have been surprised to find that's not the case. In my travels down south and out west I have yet to find a place that rolls them up as nice as Bruce's and the friends I have brought there from around the world agree, it is something special. Beyond the food, the staff is unwavering in their kindness and service. You will always be greeted with a smile and on most occasions, have your food in hand before you finish paying! Definitely give this place a try if you haven't (you probably already have). You won't regret it.

We went here again last night and here are my updated thoughts... Pros: The staff is super friendly. The servings are generous. The service is very fast. The food, while not the best I've had, is pretty darn good. Cons: -I think the store bought taco shells and tortilla rounds they use for the chips and salsa are a bit of a turn off. The chips look like the ones you would get with that fake nacho cheese at a ball game, and the taco shells are like the ones your mom served at taco night in the 80s. -I wasn't a fan of most of the sauces. The special mango salsa was the only one I liked, and I'm usually a big sauce/salsa fan. -Not a whole lot of seating, especially during busy times.

While we were in Portland I had the sudden urge to have a burrito. I got on Yelp and saw some locals that were very happy with Bruce's. I always have the most basic burritos with just rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream - and this is just what I got at Bruce's. It was fantastic! I also had the chips and guacamole. Everything was very tasty. Super fast service and friendly people. When I am visiting my friends in the Portland area again in the summer - I can bet that I will be going here!

There is no need for a long review when it comes to Bruce's Burritos. The bottom line is that every burrito I have ever ordered has been delicious. I give this establishment a well deserved 5 stars!
(5)
Ruth B.
Wow. Absolutely delicious burritos made to order. Each burrito is a complete meal! Great selection of fillings, sauces and additions. It's basically takeout but with some tables and chairs on which to eat. The portions are generous and the ingredients are very fresh.

Cute, small restaurant. Not good for groups! The employee that took my order was friendly & informative. The employee that took my order for a brownie was quite short tempered. Maybe just a bad day, happens to all of us! They have a good beverage collection. I found my blueberry beer. Love it! Plenty of parking. The food was great! The tofu texture was a bit odd but I was warned by the first employee about that.
I've been told they make a mean burrito. This was confirmed during my first visit, on Saturday. Yarmouth is a town I rarely stop for food in. Not sure why, which may explain the reason for never picking up one of Bruce's Burritos. Perhaps it's close enough to home where I think, "10 miles and I can grab something at the house." If I'm coming from Portland, I've usually already stopped somewhere else. Bruce's have board specials every day. Saturday, I opted for the roasted pork burrito w/ guacamole, mango salsa, stuffed full with rice and black beans, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. You can choose whole wheat or white as your tortilla option. This was an awesome initiation burrito to have at Bruce's. The flavor explodes in your mouth and the burrito is substantive. The service was fast and friendly. Think fast food for people who don't really like chain fast food.

I do take out here, call it in and go get it, I'm just ten minutes away and there is never a wait. My very first burrito from Bruce's Burrito was the loaded burrito, I'll never do that again, the flavors were all mushed together and I couldn't eat it, maybe a teenager could, they eat things without tasting. Since then I keep it simple the usual burrito with one filling, they are very good, very clean distinct flavors. Price is very reasonable and easy to park.

Fresh and very tasty burrito bowls are large and the chipotle chicken is great can't wait to go back!

I work across the street and hit Bruce's all the time. In and out... They're fast and good. My son is their biggest fan though! Get the sweet chili sauce for your burrito!
(5)
Molly H.
I don't know why everyone loves this place maybe because the nearest Chipotle is over 20 mins away. They make your burrito in the back so you don't have a chance to do what you can do at Chipotle (extra salsa, light on sour cream or whatever). The ingredients are ok but not as high quality as Chipotle. They do have whole wheat tortillas and sausage which is nice. They cost a bit more than Chipotle for less food. Taste is ok. I went here several times but strictly out of convenience since it was close to where I was working but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here.

Very underwhelming bland, and over priced. I wish I had better things to say but unfortunately I dont. Ordered 3 different burritos, one for me and I for each of my 2 young boys. Not only was each very bland, but for the price we had to go to McDonald's after because we were still hungry. Unfortunately most people don't know what good Mexican food tastes like which allows places like this to stay in business.

Does Bruce's have the best burritos in the whole entire world? No. But we're in Maine, which is at least (Google Maps don't fail me now!) 2,400 miles from Mexico, so personally my expectations are never super high when it comes to burritos (poutine, yes; burritos, no). Here, you'll find a plethora of options for omni's, vegetarians, and vegans alike though - and that effortless accommodation, serious speed of burrito delivery, and use of extremely fresh ingredients is super appreciated. Take note: every day there are specials that change... - Salsa specials have included - mango, pineapple, blueberry, etc. - Chili specials have included - chorizo kidney bean, chicken white bean, traditional beef, pork verde, "peace, love, and hominy" (their veg option), etc. - Tofu specials have included - southwestern, roasted garlic, roasted garlic-jalapeno, spinach and roasted garlic, habanero lime, cilantro lime, balsamic herb, lemon-thyme, sweet and spicy, etc. - Speciality burritos/quesadillas have included - pumpkin seed pesto quesadilla with spinach; chorizo sausage burrito with roasted apples; green chili beef with sweet and spicy sauce; (sometimes a St. Patrick's Day themed one with) Guinness braised ground beef, roasted poblano sauce, and corn), and, EVERYONE'S FAVORITE, the Thanksgiving Burrito (chicken or roasted pork, sweet potato, stuffing, cranberry-jalapeno sauce, pinto beans, cheese, and sour cream). (Pro tip: Since these change daily, be sure to check their social media accounts or website to find out what the specials are for that specific day!) I like their food, I'm just not overly impressed by or enamored with it. The last couple of times I came, the tofu was creamed making the entire burrito have the same sort of wet, mushy one-note texture to it (I wonder if they'd ever consider doing tempeh to give us veg/veeg's something more hearty to bite into?). It was still rolled super tight (a complaint I have about a lot of places in the state); and was tasty enough, but I personally felt the roasted garlic tofu had no distinct flavor to it and the pineapple salsa was too muted in it's tropicalness. I won't lie: I chowed that thing down in a manner of seconds and would do the same if there was another in front of me right now. I just wasn't entirely satisfied with it. But I was entirely full. And that - along with the EXCEPTIONAL customer service - is why it gets four stars. I can get a burrito (and an RC Cola) for under $10 that's a) customizable to exactly how I want it/need it to be for my dietary restrictions in a super timely manner regardless of how busy they are; b) is extraordinarily filling (and I'm a girl with a hollow leg, so this is saying something); c) and is made by people who love their jobs and the customers who visit them. We were treated with the same respect and love and kindness that the regulars were, and that made us feel right at home.

The burritos are great (I always go with the special), and the couple who own it are wonderful! For an added benefit, they are Grateful Dead fans like me so I love the background music. The space is a bit small so be prepared to do take-off or come during off-peak hours. If the weather is warm, they have shaded picnic tables. If you're heading up to Freeport for some shopping, stop here to get some healthy (and affordable) food - there are very few options in Freeport.

Magister L.
Stopped in based on Yelp reviews which were right on IMO. Taco salad was very good with large chunks of chipotle chicken. I can be critical of salsas but Bruce's was superior. Their selections of sauces was fair but each homemade sauce was on par with their salsa. Great food, great value. Do it!

Love this place - huge portions & low price. Good is always fresh & prepared quickly. Friendly staff & consistent menu - only complaint is they really need more seating! - go online & order in advance - this place is always hoppin!!
(4)

Delicious, freshly made burritos and quesadillas. Service is friendly and fast, and prices are reasonable.

Taryn S.
This place is amazing! Chipotle wishes it's burritos were this good (and I like Chipotle quite a bit!) The service is very fast, I love the different salsa options and the specials. This place offers different options that are outside the box but are still very tasty.
(5)
Sarah M.
Really very good & fast, stopped on our way to vacation in Maine will be sure to stop again on our way back. Actually, it was best food we've had in Maine, the fastest, & the best value so far.
(5)
Elizabeth T.
Amazing!!!! Fast, friendly service and the BEST burritos!!! Daily salsas have all been fantastic- I do wish they had the blueberry one every day! Pop's loaded with pork is my go-to but I recommend checking the daily specials! And make sure to try the sweet chili sauce - heaven!
(5)
Jen W.
Oh my god, I'm spoiled and won't be able to eat any other burritos now. Bruce and co. Have a great thing going and have a great atmosphere. Music was great and although it is probably built as a takeout place, it's a great place to sit down too. If you're looking for food and you're anywhere near Yarmouth this is the place to go.
(5)

This place is the bomb. Yummy good good delivered lightning fast by happy friendly people.

Joined Yelp just to post a 5* review for this joint. Been coming here a year, and yet to be disappointed. If the special chili of the day is Chicken Verde, BUY IT. You will not be disappointed.

Shayla H.
As much as I would much rather support local business than a chain.. I just can't apply this to Bruce's. I had the green chile beef burrito - basic style.. And well, basic it was. The only flavor in my burrito was tomato. If the beef was flavored with green chiles, they weren't visible. The only color present was red. I didn't even see corn in spite of choosing the roasted corn salsa. Everything actually appeared like a direct copy cat of chipotle's barbacoa burrito but unfortunately with poor execution. The flavor of the rice was undetectable from the flavor of the beef and the same for the flavor of the salsa. My friend loves it there and often gets whatever the special is so perhaps there is more luck with that but if you want a tasty beef burrito, I would start somewhere else.

Melissa S.
Bruce's is our go to when we don't know what to make for dinner. We are never disappointed with the quality of their food! Service is excellent and extremely fast, even when there is a line out the door!!
(5)
Kelsey Y.
As a vegan it is not always easy to find a quick accommodating place to get a meal but Bruce's will build an menu item customized for anyone; specials change daily and include: tofu, salsa, meat, two specialized burritos, and desserts. The place is always slammed with returning customers but somehow I manage to get my order within 5 minutes and never once has it been wrong. The food is always amazing with fresh veggies, fluffy rice full of seasonings - the staff is welcoming and will greet you by name the second time you go, and don't get me started on the sweet chili sauce. All and all Bruce's is awesome - do yourself a favor.
(5)
Dani C.
The best place ever!!!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could! The only bummer is that it is a fifteen minute drive from Portland. The burritos are godly with the sweet chili sauce. The homemade salsas are also fantastic! Portions are fair- in fact a "child" burrito is the size if chipotles large. This place is amazing- but warning: nothing else compares so every other place WILL disappoint you in comparison to Bruce's..
(5)
Michelle E.
I don't know how this place has four stars. My only guess is that there are no other burrito options in close proximity. I've had burritos from Bruce's on several occasions and they are just not good. I want to like this place because Maine lacks good Mexican food. I'll probably even go there again out of desperation, but I don't think It will make me a believer. Sorry Bruce.
(1)
Sarah M.
The best Mexican food you'll get in Maine (and you don't have to worry about food poisoning either!!!)
(5)
Kelly R.
I tried the pork burrito, wolverine style (just meat and cheese) sadly it did not fill my craving for Mexican food. It was really cheesy and that's always good but the meat lacked flavor. I'll give it another chance and go for a regular chicken burrito, hoping it'll be better. The food wasn't bad, it just didn't taste like Mexican food. But the staff was really friendly :-)
(3)
Sandy B.
Love this place! Imagine food served just after you've paid. It's that fast and still fresh and delicious. The burritos and tacos made with the spiced-right meat are great but so are the vegetarian options like sweet potato. Salads are equally delicious and made with the same fillings as their burritos, but on top of spinach. If you haven't been here, you should go!
(5)
Amanda C.
While I don't consider myself a burrito snob, I will say that I was expecting something a little different in terms of taste. I thought the filling was pretty bland and they could've done a lot more with the flavor. I also thought the price was a little steep considering I had just rice beans and other normal things, sans mean or tofu. The great thing about this place was the service. Everyone who works here is really nice and I would come back based on that, but they have to step up their food game!
(2)
Jimmy H.
Not too shabby! I consider myself a burrito expert, after spending 15 years in San Diego. Excellent flavor, interesting combinations, fast friendly service! Interesting to hear Irish music in a Mexican restaurant, but it is maine, after all!!! They should add chips to the side of their taco plate, and their burritos, considering the price. I'll definitely put this place in the rotation!!!
(4)
D P.
A Maine spin on the burrito, but very good. The kid loves the wolverine (basically beef and cheese), and I typically go for the basic burrito. Very filling, very good. Place is always busy, but there's seating outside, which is great when the weather is warmer.
(4)
Alyce L.
As someone from Arizona... I've been dreaming of a really good, authentic tasting burrito place here in Maine. Much to my dismay, Bruce's is not that place. Got the chorizo sausage burrito... Was not impressed. Sub-par chorizo and entirely too much rice inside the burrito. The ratio was waaay off. Most of the decent sized burrito was bland rice. The price is good and the people are friendly; however, the burritos were nothing but another disappointment.
(2)
Patrick M.
Mediocre and uninspired flavors. Just about as far away from decent tex-mex or even southwestern food. It should be Bruce's Wraps.
(2)
Michael C.
This is a no Frills, awesome Burritto place. The prices are great. The people that work there work hard and provide excellent service. The Burrito is an Americanized version of a Burrito. But then I am an American and it was great. The Pop;s Burrito woud be great if you ask for it without the spinach. It just made it too hard to eat. For what it is, its great

Well finally made it into this hole in the wall place that everyone raves about. First the Menu...pricey...to me...and from what I understand if it wasn't for the well to do Kids of North Yarmouth Academy eating here....this place wouldn't have made it. Second...the food..Fusion....not a big fan....have had trouble finding Traditional recipes that call for Sweet Potato and other strange ingredients...but it must be from their days out in California where this is all average fair..I have only eaten here once and the food looks great..but I probably expected too much Service...ok...one of the few places that I actually found Maine Made Sarsparilla...which was a treat.. Portions...I ordered a Basic with Chorizo Sausage, it came fairly well wrapped but almost ice cold on one side. But it was big....worth $6.95? personally...no but then I know most everything is marked up 3x the cost so that goes for the normal Would I go back...maybe...would I go back regularly...no not worth the money The owners are nice the staff is nice and I wish them well...but if your looking for traditional Burritos....THEY AREN"T HERE!!!! This is American Mexican Fusion Cuisine....Sorry but have to call it what it is Its a trendy Hipster spot frequented by well to do clientele who have little to no understanding of what the cuisine is other than what their shoving in their face They'll have no problem staying in business...but I'd like to see them get to the roots of Burritos and offer more affordable choices

I had a special delivery of Bruce's Burritos all the way to Sacramento, CA from my fiance's dad in Maine. It's DELICIOUS. It reminds me of Chipotle style burritos but healthier (option of whole wheat tortillas) and a huge menu variety... sweet potatoes & spinach!? YUM!! There's another burrito waiting in the fridge that my fiance and I will enjoy tomorrow. Can't wait! Unfortunately I am too far away to visit the actual establishment but I haven't seen anything like Bruce's in Sacramento and it would be great if they opened up some burrito shops out here.

Fast, friendly service! Huge burritos, hand rolled and made to order. I highly recommend the Thanksgiving and Sheppards Pie which are specials and only available a few days each year. The homemade chili and sauces are very good. Yummy!

You can not go wrong here. Fresh food and amazing staff. Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Chili and tofu of the day. Its not exactly mexican food but if you want fast good food. This is the place.

Went to Bruce's because everyone I know that has been raves about it...being from California I know what Mexican food is suppose to taste like well I have to say is muy bueno!

I could live off of Bruce's burritos. They have great specials, a great variety and a great staff. The ingredients are very fresh. However I would warn people that this is not a traditional Mexican burrito place. I would also recommend calling ahead if possible that way you don't get stuck in line during one of their busy times!

Great place for a quick and satisfying meal. A small but adequate selection of burritos and quesadillas with daily specials. Very friendly and casual. The employees obviously enjoy themselves which is always a good sign. I am a creature of habit, so I usually get the same favorite - the Pops loaded with pork filling, and I have never been disappointed. The turnaround is very quick - you won't wait long to feed your beast. If you live or work anywhere nearby, be sure to pick up one of their loyal customer cards (free burrito after 12 buys): you will be back...

It's remarkably hard to fill-up fast in Yarmouth, but Bruce's Burrito fits the bill. Coming off of 3+ years in San Francisco I can safely say this is not exactly Mexican food: spinach, sweet potato, and sweet sauce, oh my! Now mind you, that is not a complaint. I am all too aware of the effects of authentic Mexican "cuisine." My guess is they're not cooking their tacos with lard out back at Bruce's. My personal menu recommendation is "Pop's Loaded" with sweet potato, mix of pinto and black on a wheat tortilla with some sweet and spicy sauce added to each bite (the fiance says the green chile beef is a far superior filling). But really you can't go wrong. It's all delicious, the price is right, and the burritos are rolled fast (I have a hunch the kids that work there have plenty of rolling experience).

We were shopping in Freeport and read about this burrito joint. We didn't want to spend too much time or money on lunch, so we tried it out. Food was great and service was friendly and fast. So glad we stopped in here instead of hitting up one of those typical unhealthy fast food joints (e.g. Rotten Ronnie's)

After seeing all the very positive reviews (and seriously craving a good burrito after moving back to Maine from NYC), I decided to give Bruce's Burrito a try. I can't understand what all the fuss is about. The salsa is subpar, and they fill it full of rice to make sure you don't get enough of the things you pay extra for (where's my guac?). Maybe the two times I've been were just misses, but there was some serious disappoint. Finally, the high prices, I thought I was back in Maine and done with food price infalation . . .

Bruce's Burritos serves the best burritos I have ever had. I have moved away from my Maine home, but every time I visit there, I eat at Bruces constantly. Their homemade salsas and sauces are top notch, and the burritos - any kind or variation - are to die for. Chipotle is great, but trust me, Bruce's is the best. If you have the opportunity to go, do it, you won't regret it! Also the staff are extremely friendly and willing to accomodate special requests!

Fresh and flavorful food. Stopped for lunch and service was quick and friendly. Their Chilorio pork was fabulous. Loved the fact that they yummy flavor combinations.

Bruce's burritos is amazing. The sweet potato burrito is to die for. Their daily special soups and chilis are always amazing. The environment is super laid back and friendly. I honestly haven't tried any other burrito other than the sweet potato burrito because it is so good. If I ever get tired of it and finally crave something else, I am sure it will be great, too.

Great! I looked up mexican places on yelp to find a decent one with outdoor seating. The food was EXCELLENT, a ton of food for the price, and the people were extra friendly. Service is fast. Definitely will recommend Bruce's to everyone I know!

Bruce's Burrito is not good. I am blown away by all the positive reviews up here. If you are used to tasty burritos from the boston area then you will be terribly disappointed by Bruce's. Everything we've tried from them has been tasteless. They claim that their salsa is homemade but it tastes jarred. Their flour tortillas are just awful. I love burritos and really wanted to like this place. We just moved to the area and I was very excited to find a burrito place nearby. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about them. Actually, the people that work there are always extremely friendly. Positive. If you are in need of your burrito fix I recommend making them yourself if Bruce's is your only option.

Bruce's never fails me. My brother Gus has Celiac disease (an extreme allergy to wheat/gluten) and he swears by this place. Packed daily with Yarmouth and NYA high school students, Bruce's delivers what many consider to be the best Mexican food in Maine. Granted, this is Maine, so if you've been lucky enough to chow down on the real deal in New Mexico, SoCal, or even south of the border, don't come in expecting authenticity. This is Maine's spin on burritos and tacos (often complemented by blueberry salsa). Delicious every time!
(5)
Craig W.
What a great little place! The burritos are tasty and cheap, with interesting daily specials, there's a good selection of beverages, and the service is quick and friendly. I'm always happy with Bob's bearito, which has the chili of the day inside.
(4)
Lynn H.
I love Bruce's! It is our take out destination almost every Friday evening. I am greeted by name and n my order is ready in minutes. We got the same order every week...why mess with success. The burritos are yummy and filling and reasonably priced. The brownies are to die for. All the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Service is fast and always gets our order correct. Yummmmm

Fresh, fast, filling and fantastically delicious. Been a customer since day one, and couldn't be happier. Love everything on the menu. If the food doesn't win you over, the staff will. Enjoy!

Incredible - be sure to try their daily specials, which they tweet @brucesburritos. My favorites tend to include their awesome yellow pepper jalapeño sauce, but my wife swears by anything of theirs with sweet potato.

Stopped here for lunch en route to Blue Hill and it hit the spot. Mexican in Maine might sound like not a great idea, but it's a Maine/Mexican fusion kind of joint - I got the burrito bowl with sweet potatoes and blueberry salsa and it was delicious. The sweet potato burrito special and the chorizo burrito my parents got also come recommended. It wasn't cheap but was quick, healthy and easy to find.

I'm a picky burrito eater, and I am privileged to have Bruce's Burrito in my hometown. Eating here at least once a week is something I always try to do. Normally going for the burrito of the day, I occasionally fall back on a delicious pork burrito or a trio of hard tacos. Mix and match your fillings (creative fillings like sweet potato in place of rice are fantastic) to customize a burrito to your liking. I can only hope that Bruce decides to make Yarmouth his permanent home. The staff is wonderful and always happy to invent a delicious combination of flavors in a tortilla.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

(5)Ruth B.

I'm impressed considering such a small establishment in a mini mall area. I got the special: sweet potato burrito and my fiancé got the chicken burrito. Within 5 minutes our order came out and the woman hand delivered it to us through the bustling tables. The burritos were heavy and securely wrapped. The taste was amazing and evenly balanced with rice and veggies. I could only eat half it was so hefty but look forward to left over burrito tomorrow! Fast, delish, a bit carb heavy with rice but worth it, and awesome sauce selection.

(5)Elizabeth D.
(4)Melissa R.
Fresh and very tasty burrito bowls are large and the chipotle chicken is great can't wait to go back!
(5)Jack H.
I work across the street and hit Bruce's all the time. In and out... They're fast and good. My son is their biggest fan though! Get the sweet chili sauce for your burrito!
(5)Molly H.
(2)Christopher S.

(5)Magister L.
Stopped in based on Yelp reviews which were right on IMO. Taco salad was very good with large chunks of chipotle chicken. I can be critical of salsas but Bruce's was superior. Their selections of sauces was fair but each homemade sauce was on par with their salsa. Great food, great value. Do it!
(5)Emily P.
Love this place - huge portions & low price. Good is always fresh & prepared quickly. Friendly staff & consistent menu - only complaint is they really need more seating! - go online & order in advance - this place is always hoppin!!
(4)Leigh H.
Delicious, freshly made burritos and quesadillas. Service is friendly and fast, and prices are reasonable.
(4)Taryn S.
This place is amazing! Chipotle wishes it's burritos were this good (and I like Chipotle quite a bit!) The service is very fast, I love the different salsa options and the specials. This place offers different options that are outside the box but are still very tasty.
(5)Sarah M.
Really very good & fast, stopped on our way to vacation in Maine will be sure to stop again on our way back. Actually, it was best food we've had in Maine, the fastest, & the best value so far.
(5)Elizabeth T.
Amazing!!!! Fast, friendly service and the BEST burritos!!! Daily salsas have all been fantastic- I do wish they had the blueberry one every day! Pop's loaded with pork is my go-to but I recommend checking the daily specials! And make sure to try the sweet chili sauce - heaven!
(5)Jen W.
(5)Lisa F.
This place is the bomb. Yummy good good delivered lightning fast by happy friendly people.
(5)Mike S.
Joined Yelp just to post a 5* review for this joint. Been coming here a year, and yet to be disappointed. If the special chili of the day is Chicken Verde, BUY IT. You will not be disappointed.
(5)Shayla H.
(2)Melissa S.
Bruce's is our go to when we don't know what to make for dinner. We are never disappointed with the quality of their food! Service is excellent and extremely fast, even when there is a line out the door!!
(5)Kelsey Y.
(5)Dani C.
(5)Michelle E.
(1)Sarah M.
The best Mexican food you'll get in Maine (and you don't have to worry about food poisoning either!!!)
(5)Kelly R.
(3)Sandy B.
(5)Amanda C.
(2)Jimmy H.
(4)D P.
A Maine spin on the burrito, but very good. The kid loves the wolverine (basically beef and cheese), and I typically go for the basic burrito. Very filling, very good. Place is always busy, but there's seating outside, which is great when the weather is warmer.
(4)Alyce L.
(2)Patrick M.
Mediocre and uninspired flavors. Just about as far away from decent tex-mex or even southwestern food. It should be Bruce's Wraps.
(2)Michael C.
For what it is, its great
(4)Sean B.
(2)Nicole D.
(5)Kathy B.
Fast, friendly service! Huge burritos, hand rolled and made to order. I highly recommend the Thanksgiving and Sheppards Pie which are specials and only available a few days each year. The homemade chili and sauces are very good. Yummy!
(5)Katie D.
You can not go wrong here. Fresh food and amazing staff. Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Chili and tofu of the day. Its not exactly mexican food but if you want fast good food. This is the place.
(5)Robin B.
Went to Bruce's because everyone I know that has been raves about it...being from California I know what Mexican food is suppose to taste like well I have to say is muy bueno!
(5)Chris N.
I could live off of Bruce's burritos. They have great specials, a great variety and a great staff. The ingredients are very fresh. However I would warn people that this is not a traditional Mexican burrito place. I would also recommend calling ahead if possible that way you don't get stuck in line during one of their busy times!
(5)Win F.
(4)Chelsea B.
(4)Jamie E.
(4)kalyn b.
Finally, the high prices, I thought I was back in Maine and done with food price infalation . . .
(2)Ashley P.
(5)Sue W.
Fresh and flavorful food. Stopped for lunch and service was quick and friendly. Their Chilorio pork was fabulous. Loved the fact that they yummy flavor combinations.
(5)Elizabeth P.
(5)Cait K.
Great! I looked up mexican places on yelp to find a decent one with outdoor seating. The food was EXCELLENT, a ton of food for the price, and the people were extra friendly. Service is fast. Definitely will recommend Bruce's to everyone I know!
(5)davis s.
(2)Nick W.
(5)Craig W.
What a great little place! The burritos are tasty and cheap, with interesting daily specials, there's a good selection of beverages, and the service is quick and friendly. I'm always happy with Bob's bearito, which has the chili of the day inside.
(4)Lynn H.
Yummmmm
(5)Doug G.
Fresh, fast, filling and fantastically delicious. Been a customer since day one, and couldn't be happier. Love everything on the menu. If the food doesn't win you over, the staff will. Enjoy!
(5)Aaron G.
Deserving of its cult following of locals and students. Fast service, big portions, low cost. Needs more locations throughout Maine.
(5)T.H. J.
Overpriced, with lots of filler
(2)Jay S.
Great Burritos and fresh!
(4)Alex K.
Incredible - be sure to try their daily specials, which they tweet @brucesburritos. My favorites tend to include their awesome yellow pepper jalapeño sauce, but my wife swears by anything of theirs with sweet potato.
(5)katie k.
(5)Ben M.
