We ate here last Saturday , Our server Alesha was awesome very attentive and provided Great service! Our food was as one would expect from a national franchise chain resturaunt - tasty and filling nothing fancy or to write home about but comfort food that hits the spot and serves it's propose. The atmosphere was enjoyable and it wasn't as load as some other places in similar style eating can be. Our only major issue and kinda point of this review Other than to give praise to our waitress Alesha for her stellar service and warming smile on a busy night is that we couldn't really truely enjoy our dinner do to the fact we kept sticking to our table top at the booth. Every time we set our arms down we would stick to the damn thing- it got to be quite disturbing and kinda gross after a while. We even had over heard the booth next to us complain to each other about it as well. We know Alesha -wiped down the table and set it while we were waiting -so there wasn't anything spilled on it , it's rather earitating and again gross to think about- unsanitary to say the least! Would recommend not sitting in the booths if you go there- just a suggestion.

I gave this establishment a 2 star rating ONLY because of the service !! I'd give it NO stars for it's food !! I spent $64 FOR A PIZZA , A TOTALLY LAME APPETIZER PLATTER AND A VEGAN BURGER THAT WAS OKAY !!! So to sum up the meal , the fries were awesome as was all the sauce with the Chi Town appetizer !! I spent $64 FOR FRIES AND DIPS ... SAD !

We were running an errand at one of the Maine Mall shops so we stopped at Uno's on a whim for a quick lunch. What a bitter disappointment. The service was okay but the food was awful. I think this is the sort of place that cooks everything somewhere else, fast freezes it for shipment, and just microwaves it. Another Yelp reviewer said the food was gross, greasy and over-priced. I totally agree.

Food is good for a chain. Serving staff is mostly attractive and friendly. But service is dreadful. I was in Portland for a few days on business. Went in with 5 colleagues on 9/15 for their "quick lunch" expecting to be in an out in 30 minutes. It took an hour to get our meals in a nearly empty restaurant, making us late for a business meeting. Very embarrassing for us. The waitress was trying her best but the kitchen was slow. One colleague ordered soup. The waitress told her, when delivering everyone else's food that they forgot to prepare the soup and it was in the microwave...nice. Today I ordered delivery online. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes I called to check on my order. The hostess seemed surprised and realized they had received my order but nobody had taken action on it. She claimed that their system didn't "alert" them that the order had come in , (Too bad nobody could have thought to check the system evey 15 minutes). She then said they couldn't do delivery anyway because they didn't have a driver....I talked to the manager, who made it right, comped the meal, and had it to me in 20 minutes...but remember... they didn't have a driver...huh...wonder how that works. I've been to Unos for years...even before they went national. This location was unimpressive and needs a staff overhaul.

Dirty dishes and slow food service really hurt my experience here. Food was just ok. I went here for lunch with some people after some shopping at the Maine Mall. We came because of their wide array of options on the menu and the guarantee of food within 10 minutes of ordering. All three of us ordered from the back lunch menu. I got the Caesar salad and clam chowder. The other two ordered salads and either chicken fingers or a half sandwich. With the exception of my soup (which is at a self-serve station), everything came out late. In fact a larger family that came in and ordered after us got their food first. I'm guessing it was because of our server. The soup stand had many dirty bowls. The first time up I pulled out 2. The second time up, I had to pull out 4 dirty bowls (I.e. food crusted inside). The chowder was ok, but had this odd sour taste to it I couldn't place. The salad was good. It came with a very salty breadstick. Bottom line: watch out for the soup stand unless you'd like some extra flavors. I likely won't be going back.

I had some really goo deep dish pizzas here and their take out special can't be beat. I am going to Chicago soon, so maybe I will learn the difference, but for now, this is Chicago deep dish for me.

Great service, good food. The craft beer is delicious and the flat bread pizza was great. The manager, Jason, was very friendly and they constantly check to make sure everything is up to standard. It's a nice friendly atmosphere without blaring music where people at a table can have a conversation. I've been back a few times now.

Been to Uno's many times. Very good meal tonight. Tried herb-chicken breast. Well cooked and nice light entree. Others had pizzas, always a good choice. Good service, very friendly and attentive.

Our waitress's name was Alicia. She was very sweet upon approaching the table. She took a drink order. 15 minutes wen't by because the bartender wasps delaying the order, she finally got the drinks over to us (which again was to fault of the bartender). Took an app order and meal order. My partner ordered martini that tasted like watered down cranberry juice. It was terrible. My strawberry shake was good! I order the Chicago app platter and French onion soup and my partner ordered a meal off the gluten free menu. The French onion soup arrived with the cheese only half melted on the bowl and the bread inside the soup very, very tuff! The flavor was ok, however. The gluten free meal was good but the side of broccoli my partner ordered was sour tasting and looked like it had been sitting under a lamp for a long time. We sent it back and the manager came over with new broccoli and said that the broccoli is undercooked slightly and would have a "chewy flavor". What the hell is a chewy flavor? Overall the meal was terrible. The service was better then the meal, however. I feel bad for the waitstaff there, I am aware of the excruciating training process to work at a chain establishment like UNO's. Thanks Alicia for your prompt service though!

I had not been here in years and was looking for a place to take the kids that was different than our usual choices. We had a great time at UNO and the variety on the menu gave everyone what they were looking for, from pizza, to burgers, to pasta to steak! They really had something for everyone. We will definitely be back with the kids...they wanted to go back the very next night!

After a long day of running errands, we decided to stop by Unos just off the Maine Mall. They offer a gluten free menu, which is their saving grace. Their service is average, with the servers being friendly but absent for the majority of a quiet lunch period. I ordered their Cesar salad which was average, but had an incredible dressing. Their chili was definitely not homemade and too heavy. It was just terrible.

I came here with high hopes, because all of the other UNO's I've been to have been excellent. This one.... yeah not so much. We sat down right away and our server came over. I could tell he was a bit strange, but hey, he was friendly! We ordered our drinks and they took about 15 minutes to come. (One of the drinks was wrong, btw). Our server didn't seem attentive at all and seemed quite distracted. We finally put in our orders and he said it would be about 20 minutes. Sure enough, our food came in 20 minutes. My pizza came out wrong. I asked for an individual REGULAR pizza. I got a DEEP DISH pizza with the wrong toppings. I didn't feel like eating it but did anyway. Took forever for our bill to come as well. I guess the waiter wasn't really listening that night.

Chain place that I have gone to in different towns and had good meals. This place however did not hold up. The pizza was kind of gross. Service was lackluster and the waitress had zero personality.

This is not a bad Pizzeria Uno. Our server "Candice" was really sweet, complimenting our sweaters, what a way to get a 25% tip (I know she was "Candice" by the little smiley face napkin she set beside me with her name on it, nice touch, never seen that before). I really like the Uno individual pizzas, the one I wanted was on the $7.99 lunch special so I got a huge caesar salad with it, too. Some army dudes at the next table were calling for "Sweet Tea"--this is Maine, look out the window! And at a "Chicago-style" pizza jernt! "Sweet Tea! Sweet Tea!" Do I go to Tennessee and ask for lobstah? They did have some lobster sliders on the menu which I also tried, not bad but some parts rubbery, whattya expect at a corporate joint and not in lobster season. But I would snatch 'em again if in the mood.

Arrived at 1pm on a Thursday and the place was empty, sat in the bar area and the service was sub par. I would have expected more with so few people there. Pizza was fair, and I like Uno's. Won't rush back here again, will try to find a great local place. Try somewhere else first.

Nice restaurant. The food is soo pricey and mediocre. Had the pizza appetizer which had an interesting twist of having mashed potatoes in it. Had a thin crust pizza and it was good but a little too salty. Also had the crab cakes which was decent. Not enough of the sauce.

Meh. Not my choice. If salad from a bag and frozen pizza are your thing, then this is the place for you.
