Decided to give mill 67 a try for lunch today. We live less than a mile away and have high hopes for this restaurant. Located in the basement of a rehabilitated mill, the atmosphere was upscale and very nice. Large windows surround the basement level eatery and the place has a beautiful bar. For lunch we chose the fish tacos. Hard taco shells filed with haddock, topped with tomatoes and white sauce. There were simple yet delicious. I felt like they could benefit from either some heat or perhaps a citrus based salsa....like mango. We added fries.. hand cut with a choice of dusting. We chose bacon parmesan. Salt and vinegar is a popular choice according to the bartender. no desserts on the menu yet....We will be back.

The food was good, but a little over priced for what you get. Don't buy the fried Mac and cheese balls. Total waste of money. They're dry and have zero flavor. Everything else was good enough though. I think they're trying to be a "high end", type of place but have a little way to go. The place is pretty new, and has an industrial/modern look. The staff was nice, and service was quick. I'd visit again.

Went for drinks. Service and atmosphere was great. You would think this was Portland. Nice place.

First time here and it was great! I am celiac and one of the managers here is too so the staff are very knowledgable. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. Food was good, I had a lot of choices! Will be back for sure. Sat outside on the river, It was great.

Poutine! Meat options on the poutine and salads - beef, fish, pork, chicken, and duck. Small plates! Pizzas with three base choices, including gluten free! Gourmet burgers and vegetarian options! Great beer and cocktail selection! Olde timey mill atmosphere with clean decor and outside dining option. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. I'm going back to try more pork (and duck confit) goodness. The poutine with fried pork belly was decadent. The skillet chocolate cookie was awesome!

I'm not loving the food there - however The atmosphere and friendliness of their staff is what makes me come back time over time - they make you feel welcomed and appreciated!

This place is a must try! The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is fantastic. Set in a revitalized mill in Sanford Maine overlooking a pleasant water view of the river. Good local brew choices and small yet good menu. The poutine was the best I've ever had. Our waitress was pleasant. It is also immaculate. Parking is a little tricky- look for and follow the signs. Enjoy!

People in Sanford have NO CLUE what quality food is. Drinks were adequate service was kind but as for food quality... A big miss. Nothing special here, it's a shame because the facility is quite nice. Microwaved rubber pretzels , dry brisket and Sysco wings. I'd return for cocktails.

This is a cool little pub in a old section of Sanford, Maine. They had about 12-15 beers on tap... even a few from the west coast although I had east coast beer from Dogfish Head and Blue Point Brewery both were excellent. On to the food I had the BBQ pork tacos and they were Really Really good!! Also had the kale salad and it to was very good. The service and atmosphere were top notch.

Great food at a reasonable price, for the type and quality of food they serve. Had the Candied Bacon Platter and the Duck Confit panini, both were really good. The rest of my family had good meals as well.

Wow, this was a huge surprise! Sanford has so few decent places. We went for lunch recently. Mill has been nicely renovated, we were seated by window with view of river. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, I don't often order pulled pork but noticed their smoker out back and figured when in Rome . . . It was fantastic! Pork was just melt in your mouth, and was served with melty cheese and fried onion rings on top. Yikes, not low calorie/fat but worth the splurge (pet peeve is a caloric splurge that disappoints). Accompanied by homemade pretzel bites, and a homemade cole slaw that included kale ( that bit of kale makes the whole meal healthy, right?). This was quite a meal for an incredibly reasonable price (either $8 or $9, can't remember). Friend had a special, homemade turkey pot pie, which she enjoyed and which looked very good. Would recommend you try this place and by all means order the pulled pork, it's clearly one of the stars of the menu. Probably will never order anything but this on my return trips. And, we will return!

Wonderful food really appreciate the goal to have fresh food everyday no microwave or freezer and a look to local food as a source. I would love to enjoy another meal there soon. The atmosphere is wonderful great to see a rejuvenated space and see it come alive!

Overrated. Lousy special. AWFUL MEAL. Admittedly my review might have been better if I hadn't ordered the day's special which turned out to be leftover prime rib. I should have realized there would be problem when they didn't ask me how I wanted it prepared. Skimpy portion, dry, overdone and EXPENSIVE! $24 was not stated on blackboard and since I was busy in discussion I did not remember to ask. This $24 is $8 over their highest priced menu item. The $24 got me a slab of old meat and some decent mashed potato. No side or salad. Sending food back is not a pleasant experience. That leaves one dinner eating alone and then eventually watching the other person eat alone. Not exactly the experience I go out for and pay a lot of money to do. They've done a nice job in renovating the space but I know I won't be experiencing this again. They may have had staff changes since initial good publicity. Restaurant should assume they only have one chance to get it right.

While visiting Sanford I had the pleasure of visiting Mill 67 twice in 2 days.... Once for lunch, once for dinner. I had the special steak pizza and the brisket sandwich. Both were exceptional and reasonably priced. The waitstaff was very friendly. It was overall great experiences. If there's a negative, they should have a much more expanded beer selection. It is somewhat limited. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location amid the ruins of the old dilapidated mills of Sanford, Maine. The interior has been extensively rehabbed and looks great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food just isn't there yet. It's 3 stars at best. Not terrible by any means, especially for Sanford, but it's reach is exceeding it's grasp by just a tiny bit. 3 stars for the food and 5 for the location/staff equals a solid 4.

Wonderful meal here with a group of six. I had the house smoked brisket. It was very moist and flavorful. My appetizer was the fresh vegetable plate with dips, a nice change and good variety of veggies. Fun atmosphere in the old mill fun bar and big screen televisions. They have a $20 special that gives you a choice of a special drink(3-4 choices) entree choice and a dessert. Good idea!

I had really high hopes for this place, but it was a little lack luster. First the rejuvenated space is great. Lots of light and character. However on a Friday night, it gets very loud and a bit cramped inside. Second complaint is the drinks. While they are good, $10 for a signature drink in Sanford is pricey. The food was decent, fresh and well prepared nouveau American, however I was hoping for more traditional pub style food given the location and space. The dinner selections are a little slim, and over priced for the amount of food you receive. I enjoyed it, but left hungry for more. I'll stick with Run of the Mill in Saco.

Pub grub...nothing fancy or unusual...fries cost extra. In lieu of fries/chips you get 3 soft pretzel nuggets which I think looks really cheap/tacky. Don't come here if you are a foodie looking for something great, but otherwise, for pub grub it's suitable.

Good atmosphere, good bar but the food is a little bland. Got the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo and had to keep adding salt and pepper to it. Had HUGE chunks of chicken in it (which is usually good) but the chicken was just bland. Would go back just for the bar and atmosphere.

Great Poutine! Sometimes I go and just get that! Some of the sandwiches are pretty special too! Like the brisket! Looking forward to them using the smoker I see on the patio this summer!

The food was ok. Nothing earth shattering or awful. My burger was ordered at medium and arrived well done. That was really disappointing. The coleslaw and pretzels that were served with it? Well, the coleslaw is... unusual. But the 6 or 7 mini pretzels made us laugh. Literally, pretzels out of a bag. Come on, now. The service was slow, too (waited 5 mins for a water refill even after we flagged her down to ask for it), and I think the prices are much too high for what you get. All that said, some dishes sound interesting enough (duck confit!) to probably bring us back at least once more.

The atmosphere is great. A beautiful old mill building that has been nicely renovated. The food isn't bad for what they offer. It's a very limited menu which would be fine for lunch but not for dinner. Everything on the menu has some sort of bread (burgers, sandwiches and pizza). Doesn't work for us that try to watch their bread intake.

Lovely old mill building -- overlooking the old mill stream. Seven of us had a lovely meal for under $100 -- great homemade fries, delicious kale salad, first-rate chicken wings, brisket sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared and the waitress was accommodating. We would definitely return next time we're in the area! The only downside is that the acoustics are terrible and even a few conversations can turn into a dull roar.

Had our third meal at Mill 67 last night, this time with a group of six. Our waiter was Justin and he was THE BEST--warm, funny, personable, attentive and efficient!!! We enjoyed nachos, wings (honey bourbon mmmm) the rib special, pizza and smoked brisket sandwiches, done right on their smoker outside. Last time we had the candied bacon platter--what's not to love there??? Dishes were served with style--french fries came in a little fryer basket, pretty cute. Their house-made ranch and bleu cheese dressings were great as was the guacamole. The restaurant is in an old mill building. The space has been renovated and decorated stylishly as well with old brick walls, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river, a wonderful bar and very nice light fixtures, the tables are spacious but the chairs--not-so-comfy. They have outdoor seating as well. One suggestion: please post a menu online. We will be back!!
