Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

If you're a fan of many of the Americanized Chinese dishes, you should definitely check China House out. Their food at times can be a bit on the salty side, but it's overall a satisfying dining experience. Servers are always friendly and food is delivered quickly after ordering. I can't speak for the more traditional Chinese fare, as I generally only order standard Americanized dishes from this particular restaurant. It's definitely worth stopping in or ordering some take out.

I picked up lunch at China House and it was good. This is completely reasonable Chinese take out food and if you get a combo plate instead of a lunch special, you'll get two lunches out of one order. One huge advantage that China House has over the Biddeford places I usually go to is the parking. We've had a ton of snow dumped on the area over the last few days and it hasn't been cleared up yet so China House was just easier. The quantity would bring me back and the quality wouldn't keep me away. I don't understand the hate in some of the other reviews but nothing about my experience made me unhappy.

Amazing food! So much better than we were expecting. My dad used to take me here years ago before the fire and it was always so good I'm so happy that it's just as good as I remember! Prices are very good for the portion sizes.

Not awful, but not great. I will say the portion sizes are large, though. I had sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoons. The sweet and sour chicken was okay. The crab rangoons were really soft and not crispy like they are at most other places. The service was also average and nothing special. I wouldn't tell people not to go here, but I also wouldn't suggest it either.

Simply said "YUCK" Worst chinese food we have ever had. No - actually worst FOOD I have ever had! Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. Wondered what the meat was. Didn't taste like NORMAL sweet and sour tastes. The flavor was absolutely the worst sweet and sour ever eaten in any chinese restaurant. AND COLD. Ordered Gen Tso's chicken - big chunks meat, NOT fried but in dark sauce with white specs. Questioned what the white specks were - told they were bits of garlic. Questioned the FLAVOR of the 'meat'. Was told if I wanted the 'hotness' of the Gen Tso's chicken, I should have REQUESTED that when I ordered it. (WHAT??) They brought out some 'hotness' - a bowl of oil (grease) with hot pepper flakes !!! Couldn't eat this mess. STILL GOT CHARGED FOR IT !!!! NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE ! ( EVIDENTLY the lowest rating is one star, so we HAVE to give this place a star - they don't deserve it ).

it's an okay Chinese place to go. Their fried rice is basic and nothing fancy and a bit dry. Their chicken chow mien is really good and so are the chicken moo goo gai pan. Their lo mein is good as well. It's not great but certainly not the worst Chinese I've eaten. The portions are huge and the price, great.

If I could give 'zero' stars, I would. Simply the worst. Keep driving by!! Everything was brown, greasy, and tasteless. We literally ate two bites from each dish -- the first because we were were hungry and the second one because we thought the first bite really couldn't be that awful. Seriously, if people left full plates of food on the table & said they were 'finished eating' to the waitress, wouldn't you think the waitress would ask if anything was wrong? Don't even try to complain in this dump because it will fall on deaf ears. Go across the street and get takeout from Hannaford --anything would be better than China House.
