Marcel's is the fine dining restaurant at the resort where we're staying. On Sundays from 11:30-2 they serve a brunch buffet that's as good as most I've tasted (think the Claremont or pretty much any large hotel buffet in Hawaii) and they charge $22. You read that right. They served such a large variety of hot dishes I couldn't taste them all, plus several salads, cheeses, seafood, fruit, omelets made to order, roast beef and crown roast carved to order and a table of desserts I barely glanced at. Plus a lobster and corn chowder that was terrific. Almost forgot that. We were seated at a booth w/ a gorgeous view of the bay. We had a choice of champagne, mimosa or juice, plus coffee and tea. Alan reported the Eggs Benedict was good. Everything I tasted was good, but the revelation was the blueberries, which were fat, firm and flavorful. The strawberries were good too. A pianist played unobtrusively in the background.
