As many know, I'm always on the hunt for a good neighborhood sandwich shop and this does not disappoint! I love that they use high quality ingredients in their sandwiches. I got the Bbq pork sandwich and it was really good but I want to try something new next time. It's just a little place with a couple of tables and counter with stools. It's unfortunately not near me but I'll try and make my way there again at some point.
(4)Ashley T.
I don't think their breakfast sandwiches are that amazing as people claimed but they are decent. I had the turkey and avocado sandwich and it was okay. Not something i'd go out of my way for.
(3)Dan A.
Cute place with terrific pour over coffee. One of the best cups of coffee I've had in a long time. Funky atmosphere.
(5)Amylynne F.
Think my first time here was a fluke. Last 2 times I've been here have been great. Order off the board! It's pretty darn good! And get there early bc the wait to get your sandwich will be looooong on the weekends!
(4)Monica L.
I got an egg and cheese on a bagel and it was really small with hardly any cheese. My boyfriend raves about this place though so I guess I'll give it another try. I gave them an extra star for their great beer selection.
(3)Amy D.
You must have the breakfast sandwich at Ohno Cafe. Try with caution, because the #1 is extremely habit-forming. The maple-glazed prosciutto, Tabasco, egg and Vermont cheddar on a perfectly grilled bagel is probably my favorite breakfast sandwich in Portland. Ohno is also a great place to grab beer or wine to go. Their selection is small but well-curated. The staff is helpful in choosing a selection that suits your taste. Ohno is a great West End spot and a perfect place to grab a quick bite to stay or to go.
(4)Ben S.
Who knew you could get this good a breakfast in the West End? The sandwiches often boast a bizarre list of ingredients, but they all sound too good to pass up. I had the #1 with maple prosciutto, which perfectly blended all the best things of being an Italian guy from Maine. Come on in before work or on your lazy mornings off. I got quick enough service that I could have been in and out in ten minutes if I didn't take a table, which makes it a viable and vastly preferable alternative to your dunkins and what have yous. The only downside is that, if you're hoping Ohno! will help you kick-start your work week, I have bad news. Ohno! hates mondays just as much as you do.
(4)Haley H.
Still five stars! Just wanted to update that I had dinner here this evening (take out) and it was very very good! The crab cake sandwich with Asian slaw and homemade mayo was the perfect portion and the flavors were right on. Also, the crab cake itself was great- moist, lots of crab, but not soggy. As always, never disappointed. Thanks ohno!
(5)AJ P.
Nice little sandwich shop with an awesome selection of beer. I'm partial to the #4 with the smoked salmon on a bialy. There's a few small tables inside, but this is more of a "to go" type of place. It can get crowded on the weekend and service is slow since everything is made to order. So if you're in a rush, this probably isn't the best place for you.
(4)Matthew K.
This is a great little gem of a cafe in the West End. If you're looking for a breakfast sandwich and coffee, I haven't found a better place in town. Their lunch is also good and highly recommended. They also have a good beer and wine selection if you need a drink to bring home.
(5)Mike S.
A fantastic place to grab a quick sandwich. Small with limited seating but that's be used there is space taken up with the beer selection! As an occasional night shift worker, I appreciate that they open at 630 instead of 7 like everybody else!
(4)Megan T.
Well worthy wait! there's something about the weirdest liquoresque store inside that makes it even more charming. The #2 breakfast sandwhich is a go to favorite and always worth waiting for because it's perfection.
(5)Michelle P.
What can I say about this place? I really love. The staff, the food, the friendly neighborhood feeling... it is fantastic! For one thing, it is in my neighborhood, so it can solve any urgent coffee needs promptly. It also has a fantastic beer and wine selection. This also solves many emergencies for me. If I am heading over to a dinner party or having friends over, I can count on this place to have just the right drink for the occasion. If I am unsure when I am there on what to get, they always are more than willing to help advise. Then you have the breakfast sandwiches. Though I am a pescetarian, I am always telling people to get the number one on the sandwich menu. When I did eat meat, I would eat that & it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I had ever had. Seriously, stop what you are doing & go get this sandwich. I do not like to promote the eating land animals. However, my exception here is that there are a friendly neighborhood business & the sandwich is really fantastic. So, if you are going to eat meat, might as well make it count! In case you are like me and do not eat land animals... then get the salmon breakfast sandwich. I always swap the cream cheese for avocado. It is delicious! There is also a very good hummus breakfast sandwich as well. They offer a soy sausage too. It is also important to note that one should always check the specials when going there for lunch or dinner. I recently had some sort of delicious BBQ tofu sandwich there and it was delicious. They often will have a great selection of soups too. To me, anyplace that can provide me an excellent bottle of wine & a great sandwich or soup is a winner in my book. Oh No! My review is done.:)
(5)Marge W.
Breakfast sandwiches all day! Can't drink the wine or beer there, but a great stop for take out. Got #2, tasted great, five dollar breakfast sandwich (although with very little turkey). I will definitely be back!
(5)Dawn T.
Check this joint off the "places I want to go" list and move to "places I love to go" list. Yowsa, Ohno! Cafe' was exactly as I had hoped for. Packed up with patient patrons, we waited only a moment to have our order taken. While getting my tea I had a view of the sandwich makers. During this, and the entire time we were there, they were entirely focused on producing their signature sandwiches on either bagels, English muffins, or Bialy. No time for joviality, NO distractions, and fluid fulfillment of the food orders as well as the coffee/tea station. To be admired. As we waited for our order I had a chance to peruse the beer and wine selection. Being in the industry leaves me with an advantage/disadvantage in evaluating the quality of a store/restaurant's beer/wine list. There are myriad choices, it's very difficult to cull down roughly 10,000 wine labels to match space, price range, and taste of clientele. Ohno apparently has a great buyer or team. Though there were no American wines, there were several ciders made locally and UFF Kombucha. The beers, plentiful enough for the space available, were effectively chosen for origin, quality, and price. If I were in the West End, they were open, and I was in need, I'm positive I could pop in here and leave with an appropriate selection for any event. We took our food a few blocks away to the park overlooking the bridge on York Street and enjoyed them sitting on a park bench in the glorious sunshine while folks walked their dogs throughout the park. A thoroughly enjoyable experience I would recommend highly.

I had never been inside the Ohno! Cafe despite passing by it hundreds of dozens of time. After spending an afternoon there working an alcohol promotion, though, I became an instant fan. It has an intimate, welcoming feeling sans any judgmental attitudes or exclusivity towards people who aren't locals, specifically West Enders. For a small neighborhood cafe, it has a seriously impressive beer and wine selection. The owners (who are as real as it gets) are active in their community and outwardly proud of it. They believe in supporting locally owned businesses, so microbrews made in Maine seem to a) always be on hand (with some varieties I can't seem to find elsewhere); and b) cheaper than other locations in town. I go out of my way to buy my Allagash White here now! I can't speak on the food, but every time I'm here it seems they're straight-out making orders - that's a good enough sign to me that they're doing something right! So, don't make the same mistake I did, and walk past this place for years like it's "just another building". Because it's definitely not!
(4)Derek A.
Breakfast sandwiches are the best I have had, especially the number 2!!! The beer and wine selection is also on point, a must go for anyone in Portland!
(5)Tatiana K.
Most of the reviews are for breakfast, which I'm sure is awesome, but do NOT miss out on their lunch options! Husband and I both got the "Crispy crab cake sandwich with sweet Asian slaw & homemade mayonnaise." ahhmaahhgahd. So good. I had the spinach side salad, husband got the pasta salad. Both were just "meh," hence the one star lost. But we will definitely be back next time we're in Portland.
(4)Jacob F.
Go here for breakfast. Just go. Get a #1. Ohno! is fantastic for a hangover, a date, or if you're like me and don't like making yourself breakfast alone. The lunch specials are also awesome and they know their stuff for for beer and wine if you live in the west end or Parkside.
(5)Stephen R.
My wife and I each got a breakfast sandwich along with coffee. The food was great! Made to to order sandwiches at a reasonable price.
(5)Victoria F.
Amazing breakfast sandwich selection and quick assembly! The counter staff isn't extra friendly, although maybe I just haven't been in often enough to establish my cred. My go-to is the #2 with turkey, smoked Gouda, avo, tomato and egg... But I have my eye on the smoked salmon option for a future visit. Sandwiches are sized just right, not too big, not too small. The CBD coffee selection is great too!
(4)Angela S.
Such a great spot to have in the neighborhood! They always have a few specials that are always great but the real deal is the breakfast sandwiches. Good coffee, beer and wine, excellent food. You can call ahead and they'll have it ready for you to grab. My favorites are the smoked salmon and the veggie.
(5)Lauren L.
Best standby for a breakfast sandwich- #2 Smoked turkey, avocado, tomato, smoked gouda & egg on English muffin $5 Can't beat that! Love the atmosphere here- I try to get my favorite spot at the window seat to people watch- there's usually something interesting going on.
(5)Maggi H.
Wow! What an incredible find. Menu had such great options to choose from. My fiancé and I split the mango bourbon pulled pork barbecue sandwich. It was delicious, even though I wish I had the pasta salad on the side instead of potato salad. Being from Ohio, it just didn't live up to standards. I won't execute them for that. I would eat a lot more sandwiches from there again!
(4)Chris G.
This place. "Atmosphere" is quite literal at this joint, as the air is pregnant with the scent of all of the delicious things grillin' back behind the counter. They also feature a good booze selection for take home... and coconut water for the morning after... As for the food... a thing I recommend that you do is order the breakfast sandwiches in order over a few visits. Once you've settled on your favorite 2-3 and establish a good rotation, THEN go for lunch and prepare yourself for a well and truly blown mind. You will not believe that they've somehow topped themselves, because if the breakfast sandwich offerings are a perfect 10, lunch goes to 11.
(5)Rachel K.
My hubby and I just recently moved to Portland and we live in the West End. After walking by this place a million times I finally went there today. I got a delicious ice coffee (opted for black so I could put in coconut milk at home). As others have mentioned they serve Coffee By Design. They had simple syrup available which I appreciated. Knowing this place is known for their breakfast sandwiches I was lured into trying one and ohmygoodness! Best decision of my day! I had the #2- Smoked turkey, avocado, tomato, smoked gouda & egg on English muffin and it was DELISH! Everything was so fresh that it just melted in my mouth. Perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper. $8.10 for the sandwich and coffee- not bad! The sandwich was not huge, but big enough for the price in my opinion. I will definitely be back. Also, it was ready in 5 minutes and the guy who took my order was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is it's a small place and was very warm inside so I'd suggest grabbing a bench outside if one is available or getting your food to go. I'm excited to go back and explore their menu more!
(4)Brian F.
Best breakfast sandwiches in town, and a great selection of microbrews.
(5)Lili K.
We waited 30 minutes for the smoked turkey, avocado, tomato and gouda cheese on a bagel. It was quite small and not as great as the ones in NY. Yes it's great that it's hot, but that's about it. There was a dog hanging out inside which was nice to see!
(3)brian d.
Bacon was RAW..!..I've been four times to this place, three times for breakfast, once was done right, the second time the bacon was raw, the third time there was no bacon(they forgot)..The fourth was a chicken sandwich which was SLIMEY..It was soo bad..Quality control is needed in this place..Cheap, but some real morons working there lately.
(1)Jenna V.
I love the Smoked Turkey, Avocado, Tomato and Gouda Cheese Breakfast Sandwich (I omit the turkey). They also serve coffee by design coffee which is nice. The guys working are always quick and friendly. You can call and order for pickup too. It's not a huge place so it can get warm inside and you may not get a place to sit. They do have a bench outside or there's a park down the street.
(5)Lindsey L.
OhSo good! Seriously. It wasn't until trying OhNo that I finally discovered a great breakfast sandwich in Portland. In my opinion, the best around. You can't go wrong with fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. Think cream cheese, spinach, tomato, cucumber, red onion & sriracha on bialy bagel. You add sriracha to any meal and you've won my heart. Call ahead to order and your breakfast sandwich will be ready to devour in about 10 minutes.
(5)Joey W.
I had a tasty breakfast sandwich here. They have the best gluten free rolls, which I had with egg, veggie sausage, avocado and greens. It has a corner store vibe like a lot of delis in Portland, but definitely clean and very nice staff.
(4)Shanna W.
#1 or #2 are my favorites, but they are all extremely delicious. service is always fast and friendly. The BEST breakfast sandwiches in town, hands down! I'd take a picture...but um...it's already gone.
(5)Gladys S.
This was a surprise find. I've been in the neighborhood several times but drove right past it. The breakfast sandwiches are to die for!! The prices are very affordable. surprisingly the wine selection is very good too.
(4)Katie L.
I will definitely be returning here. Part of the store is dedicated to microbrews, wine and champagne. They sell a lot of my missed west coast favorites like Old Rasputin and Brother Thelonius and Rogue. They even sell an alcoholic ginger beer which I'm super excited to try! The other part of the store is a sandwich shop. The bagels are fresh and the prices are right. I got the smoked salmon sandwich for $6.50. A sprinkling of carmelized onions on top was a nice touch. They sell coffee by design coffee. While there is some seating inside, and a few benches outside, it's probably better as a swing-by-and-take-home establishment. Loved it, one of my new favorite places in Portland.
(5)Andrea K.
What can I say about Ohno? Easily the best breakfast sandwich joint - ever. I live quite close and Ohno is my go-to place for quick, delicious breakfast. They carry CBD coffee, which is a plus. And their beer and wine selection? Pretty amazing. I particularly appreciate that they carry Maine Beer Company brews. I'm so happy to have a spot like Ohno in the West End!
(5)Katie C.
The fact that we went straight to Ohno! after getting off the plane from New York at 9:30am should speak for itself (it should also speak for the incredible ease of getting to and from the airport, but that's another review). And we were certainly glad we did. The breakfast sandwiches there are fantastic, and not in your standard "this costs $2" way. They're a little pricier, but totally worth it for the unique combinations and little touches that make all the difference. I had the #2, with turkey, gouda, avocado, tomato and egg--all with a liberal sprinkling of black pepper to make it really standout. I also tried a bite of the #1, their classic maple, ham, egg and hot sauce sandwich, and was very impressed. If only they could open a store in New York!
(5)zack d.
By far the best breakfast sandwiches around... the #2 is unreal... highly recommend it..
(5)Paul L.
We went during lunch and since this place is tiny, we had a bit of a wait with the other people in line. No big deal, we checked out all the crazy beer they had in the meantime. Great breakfast sandwiches.
(4)Alex H.
Best breakfast sandwich I've eaten. Not your typical bacon, egg and cheese by any means. I had the #1 which is maple glazed prosciutto, Vermont cheddar and tabasco on a bagel. It was a delicious combination of sweet, salty and spicy. Delish. Also, the iced coffee was fantastic. Enough said. Go there. So good.
(5)Helen M.
Best food in town, hands down! Amazing breakfast sandwiches... Lunch and dinner are good too plus they sell a great variety of craft beers! I recommend the #1, the #6 with soy sausage and a crabbies to go!
(5)Tash K.
These were so good I should of ordered two. I got the maple-proscuitto breakfast sandwich. It has a splash of tabasco on it that goes so well with the sweet maple. I love that they grilled the bagel too. This sandwich was $4.50, so it's also a nice price!
(4)Dan L.
Want a great breakfast sandwich? Check this place out. A friend told me about it one morning while I was at home thinking about cooking breakfast. I hopped in my car and headed over. I had a #5 (hanger steak and egg on bagel) It was fantastic. I will try lunch and dinner later.
(4)Simon L.
The guys at Ohno! are down-to-earth, chill, and make a mean breakfast sandwich. The lunches look almost better, but I've never actually made it in for one. Also, they have a decent selection of wine (with great COLD whites!) perfect for grabbing on the way to a party (I may just know this from experience)...and, thankfully, Allagash White!
(4)Tom D.
I was out for a walk thinking about what to have for dinner and found this little cafe. We went in and had a wonderful cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. The service was very fast and friendly and they sell a wide variety of beer and wine.( to go). I saw all of the different breakfast sandwiches on the menu and will defiantly go back to try one.
(4)Rokitjogo G.
I love this place and their number 1 sandwich.
(5)J Michael D.
Happy that I only live a block away. My alltime favorite is their #4 (smoked salmon, red onion, baby spinach, cream cheese on a biali bagel drizzled with olive oil). Their #2 (turkey, avacado, tomato, and egg on an English muffin) is also really good. For lunch I always get their shimp BLT with potato salad on the side (I prefer that side over their pasta & reg salad) They also carry a lot of local brews!
(5)Cory M.
I live close so on hung over mornings I love getting their proccutio maple tabasco sangy but if you don't call in your order and hang out for 30 minutes at home you'll be waiting in the smoky, Kansas-highway-gas-station style hipster den. Awesome sandwiches though.
(4)Lindsay L.
Pros: You will leave happy. Delicious breakfast sandwiches at a very reasonable price. Good for a quick, freshly-prepared meal whenever. Awesome beer/wine takeout selection, love the staff. Cons: coffee by design coffee. I hate that sh!t.
(4)Whitney D.
Stopped in this little gem on my way through Portland. It was incredible. The best bacon, egg and cheddar bagel I've ever had in my entire life. The coffee was absolutely delicious as well. I got the Jamaican Me Crazy blend, and it was amazing. Definitely going to make sure I stop by any time I'm in the area!
(5)William T.
The best breakfast sandwich, hands down. Get #1 and get a napkin with it.
(4)Ripley H.
#1 on English ... best breakfast sandwich I ever had. Local coffee, local food, local beer (Rising Tide, Maine Beer) ... I'll be back.
(5)Alexandria Z.
ohno is one of my favorite breakfast places. yes their selection may be slightly limited but there is no doubt that you will order something you will fall in love with. im addicted to their number 1 sandwich. egg, MAPLE prosciutto, vermont chedder, tabsco on a bagel. it's amazing. their number 4 is wonderful. i havent tried their lunch menu but i cant imagine anything but perfection from these guys/
(5)Erin P.
Scrumptious breakfast sandwiches! I love the one with turkey and avocado
(4)David Z.
Best breakfast sandwich in Portland. Incredibly quick and friendly. Love it.
(5)Scott N.
I'm addicted to the #1 breakfast sandwich.
(5)Trevin L.
True neighborhood gem! Delicious creative breakfast sandwiches. Impressive selection of craft beers and wines to boot. I wish I lived next to this place.

Chef John Martovich is amazing! He doesn't bake often, but when he does you are in for a real treat! This place is only a few blocks from me, and my favorite quick breakfast stop. I would like to see more variation in the menu so we can try more of John's food!
(5)sarah s.
Good bagel / biali sandwiches, including one that's vegan (hummus and veggies), and sometimes vegan soups.
(4)Jessica Y.
On our way to Bar Harbor, we decided to check this sandwich joint out since there were great reviews. We arrived at 9am on sat and the place was already packed. Seating was limited so just get your food and go somewhere else to enjoy it. We got 4 sandwiches and the wait time for our food was prob another 15-20 min. Everything was made to order. I got the turkey, avocado and provolone breakfast sandwich (it tasted fresh but there wasn't anything else that I would rave about). The boy got the spam and honey mustard Dijon sandwich (I didn't like this one). Another friend got the same thing I got and her significant other got a breakfast with Tabasco sauce (I think it was the first item on the breakfast sandwich list).

I will always love this great breakfast establishment in Portland, however the last time I went...I made a mistake on my end. I sincerely thought that all of the breakfast sandwiches came with egg, so I went for #6 Cream cheese, spinach, tomato, cucumber, red onion & Sriracha like I said I would in the review prior. When I got it, I was sad because of no egg, then I went up to the counter and ordered one to put in my sandwich and felt horrible! It was very acidic and I couldn't finish the sandwich completely. I will still explore other magical and tasty breakfast sandwiches they have on that chalkboard!
(5)Jenna V.
(5)Chris G.
(5)Sarah G.
High acclaim well worth it here. I ordered the grilled flank stank sandwich on a ciabatta and got potato salad for my side. This sandwich is on par with sandwiches I had in Italy and that's saying something! I need to come back for the breakfast sandwiches (obviously) so I'll continue then. But if you're in the area, absolutely come and try it because there's more than meets the eye here.
(4)Michelle L.
Home of the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had in my life: the number one. Pro tip: ask for it on a croissant. I wish the maple to Tabasco ratio were more consistent, but the number one's glory can not always be perfectly replicated. A fact that perhaps makes me love it all the more when it is perfect. Also: oh no cafe boasts an amazing wine bottle selection with really legit helpful tasting notes on the shelves.
(5)Shannon S.
A place so good you go back twice in one weekend visit to Portland? Yup. My husband stopped in while we were out and about on Saturday morning and grabbed himself a sandwich (I declined only because I had already devoured a donut and a half.) I did snag a bite though, it had steak and egg and delicious melty chees, and declared that we should get sandwiches from there the next day. So we did. This time we both went with a smoked salmon number, on bagels and it was outstanding. So great that in fact my husband has made it his weekend mission to recreate this sandwich (he's getting close if you were wondering.) Doesn't hurt that they have a good selection of craft brews and friendly folks running the place, definitely a must-stop spot for us on all future trips to Portland.
(4)David L.
My reviews are based solely on value. For a total of $11.16 , I enjoyed a perfectly seasoned flank steak sandwich, pasta salad and a Arizona Green Tea. Friendly service quick preparation and a clean dive. What more could you as for for dinner I. New England? I seek out good value and good food that is unique to a market. These folks hit the nail on the head and made 'Southern Hospitality' seem just plain rude. Could not ask for a better quick dinner for the price. A special thank you to the Yelpers on this one. My girlfriend was in Dallas tonight, and she steered me away from another nearby restaurant based on reviews here. I have to chalk this up to a serious Yelp win.
(5)Tony W.
Intimate little bodega that serves sandwiches and sells an impressive variety of craft beer and wine. Parking can be a minor pain, but whenever I'm passing through the West End on a weekend morning I always make a point to stop here for a breakfast sandwich. Man, are they good, especially paired with a cup of Coffee By Design dark roast, which is also available here. The #1 is my favorite. If I actually lived in this neighborhood I would get breakfast sandwiches from this place so often that I'd probably start looking like a less healthy version of George RR Martin. Ohno, I can't stop eating breakfast sandwiches!
(4)K C.
Best breakfast sandwich in Portland!! I always go for the make your own sandwich with egg, avocado, onion, cheddar on a freshly baked bialy roll, however I tried their salmon sandwich recently and it was AMAZING! You can't go wrong at OHNO.
(5)Karen H.
Great vibe at this off-the-port-path location. Terrific selection of craft beers and expansive descriptions of a nice wine selection in a small, crowded breakfast sandwich place. Sandwiches are on bialy or English muffins, served wrapped in foil. Nothing fancy but obviously the locals know it well. There are only four tables and a counter area, but it's worth it to stop by, get your sandwich and brew to go; nice neighborhood for walking in the morning. We had #4- salmon sandwich and #2 turkey avocado and smoked Gouda-delicious!!!! Bought a great bottle of Tawny port while waiting because of the descriptive display
(5)Jameson B.
I had just come from the breakfast sandwich mecca of New York City, so I wasn't sure what to expect besides maybe your standard above grade Dunkin' Donuts style egg and cheese, on a plain bagel, but I was proven wrong. They have some excellent coffee from Coffee By Design and some really funky breakfast combos. Their #7 goes right up behind my Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll in Jersey. I also had a Yankees cap on and the service was still great so be sure to check this place out.
(5)Lindsay W.
(3)Amylynne F.
Think my first time here was a fluke. Last 2 times I've been here have been great. Order off the board! It's pretty darn good! And get there early bc the wait to get your sandwich will be looooong on the weekends!
(4)Dan A.
Cute place with terrific pour over coffee. One of the best cups of coffee I've had in a long time. Funky atmosphere.
(5)Monica L.
(4)Becky M.
I always love finding awesome places off the beaten path... Was looking to make my Monday morning less depressing by eating my standard egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, but alas, they are closed. Gives me time to write a review.. Even though now I'm more depressed and my sandwich craving is not satisfied. ANYWAY, I tried OhNo! Literally at some point last week and have been back three times... Hard to find a decent breakfast sandwich in Portland, and I can be in and out in 10 minutes before work. Iced coffee is also a must, although I wish you could get a bigger size. Great selection of wine and beer, if I lived closer I would frequent for my booze as well. I think they are a little pricy... And the atmosphere isn't super inviting. Solid 4 stars...
(4)Jay B.
Sausage egg and cheese on a bialy. Magnificent. I have many reasons to be thankful for Oh No Cafe. Thank you for teaching me what a bialy is. Thank you for having the best breakfast sandwiches in Portland. Thank you for being on the West End. Thank you for carrying wine, you make my life a lot easier. My only criticism is the fact you do not take American Express. It's 2015, are you against the internet too? Hah!
(5)Chenkai L.
This was one of the most hipster shopped I visited in Portland. The restaurant is lined with craft brews and local beverages. They sold wine in this cafe as well. The breakfast sandwiches were inexpensive and delicious, seem to be a favorite spot for many locals. They also had a number of hot sauces you can find on your sandwiches as you see fit.
(5)Tim H.
When in the area I read rave reviews of this little neighborhood market that had phenomenal breakfast sandwich. I think there was a NY Times mention (that will certainly increase business). So on an Autumn Saturday the gf and I walked the lovely streets of Portland to Ohno! Cafe and had an awesome breakfast. I went with the salmon/prosciutto sandwich and it was delicious. Savory, salty, yum, yum, yum. Definitely fueled me up for the day. Would definitely recommend
(5)Rachel D.
Ohno Cafe is one of our standby breakfast spots if we're not looking for a relaxing, take way too much time eating brunch, kind of atmosphere. This is a good get in and get out kind of place with quality food. My usual is spinach, tomato, cream cheese and sriracha on a bialy. Their bialy's are pretty scruptious. If you stop by here for breakfast in the summer it's nice to take your breakfast to go and eat it in Harbor View Memorial Park. Parking can sometimes be a pain but typically on week days and odd hours of the weekend it's a non-issue. They also serve UFF Kombucha and Coffee by Design coffee, two of my local favorites. Usually they have all the different kombucha flavors (including blueberry and ginger). I thought I'd mention the Coffee by Design bit since I did, on one occasion, drive to Coffee by Design for coffee and then over to OhNo for a breakfast sandwich and they had Coffee by Design coffee at OhNo. Oh well!
(4)P. And B. J.
WOW - I can't say enough good things about this place. Great GREAT GREEEEEATTTT customer service! They literally make your food there. I wish they did a nice home fries or something with their sandwiches. That would be swell and potatoes are cheap!
(5)Haley H.
(4)Dawn T.

(4)Mike S.
(5)Derek A.
Breakfast sandwiches are the best I have had, especially the number 2!!! The beer and wine selection is also on point, a must go for anyone in Portland!
(4)Rachel K.
(1)Andrea K.
(5)Lindsay L.
Pros: You will leave happy. Delicious breakfast sandwiches at a very reasonable price. Good for a quick, freshly-prepared meal whenever. Awesome beer/wine takeout selection, love the staff. Cons: coffee by design coffee. I hate that sh!t.
(4)William T.
(5)Jessica T.
(4)Tony W.

This place has been a long time favorite of mine. There's something to say for a place that far away from the Old Port to be slammed every Saturday and Sunday Morning--they must be doing something right! Great quality of food and consistency. Their beer and wine selection is always incredible for such a tiny shop. P.s. It's one of the few non-grocery stores that you can buy Boocha!
(5)Joe Y.
Cool little cafe with amazing bagel sandwiches. We dropped in on a Tuesday morning and it was fairly busy but the staff was great and our bagel sandwiches were delicious. I believe the one I ate was called Maple Prosciutto with Tabasco. It was a classic sweet and savory combination that really worked. Its a pretty small space but it is cozy, warm and inviting. I highly recommend for the bagel sandwiches. I will need to come back for lunch sometime.

Some pros: - It's in a convenient location - Some sandwiches are actually really yummy (we got the #4, smoked salmon with cream cheese, spinach, and capers on a bialy) - They have a large beer/various alcohol selection - They seem dog friendly! Cons: - It's really not a hang out place, more like a get your sandwich to-go kinda place. - There's not a lot of seating and it gets really crowded on weekends (20 minute wait for said #4 breakfast sandwich, and it's not even cooked) - The staff has never really been friendly the handful of times I've been there - Some sandwiches are actually not that good (or are expensive, the #4 is small for $7, $15 for two after tax doesn't seem worth it)

Best breakfast sandwich in Portland!! I always go for the make your own sandwich with egg, avocado, onion, cheddar on a freshly baked bialy roll, however I tried their salmon sandwich recently and it was AMAZING! You can't go wrong at OHNO.

Hah!

Oh well!

WOW - I can't say enough good things about this place. Great GREAT GREEEEEATTTT customer service! They literally make your food there. I wish they did a nice home fries or something with their sandwiches. That would be swell and potatoes are cheap!
