Tried and true - a staple of Portland's lunch time spots. Foodworks has been turning out tasty, quality lunchtime fare for 15+ years. Hard to overlook this classic. I don't usually write reviews on restaurants without setting my foot inside the facility, but this is an exception. They did a terrific catering job for our journal club conference, with amazing casseroles/lasagnas. We had the crab-artichoke, the wild mushroom and the garden selection, and everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was not lost at all with the large portions. My favorite is definitely the wild-mushroom for now, with the crab-artichoke as a close contender (but just a bit too creamy for my taste). Definitely gonna check out this restaurant for dinner and will order from here for my parties!

Foodworks delivered an awesome catering job at my friend's wedding. They kept the tables clear and served over 150 people. There did not end up being enough food ultimately -- not sure who is to blame for that -- but everything was tasty and really did the trick despite the hot day.

Hole in the wall dining place. Good for quick wraps, sandwhiches, soups. Has a hippie vibe...homemade everything. Cookies are great. Buffalo chicken wrap is good...also the homemade chutney and turkey sandwhich is awesome as well! Small seating area. Good service. Local spot. Cater as well.

Just can't go wrong. Whether in the mood for a cream cheese brownie to go with your coffee or one of their amazing specials off the board, it's a win. I prepare myself heading in for a roast beef w/ boursin cheese sandwich wrap, but usually leave with one of their specials such as their to die for burritos, eggplant parmasean or a quesadilla.
