Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Decent pizza (like if digornos and ellios had a baby) if you've been drinking. They were also open pretty late on a Sunday. The fried dough was decent too.

Pizza has horrible crust here, like most of the pizza around this area, so one star. The fried dough is not at all bad, if you come when their oil is fresh, so three stars for that. The poutine is really just laughable, but better than other joints, just barely. Overall two stars.

Disgustingly dirty! The man counting the money grabs the dough and says the grease in fryer will kill the germs! The mgr?? Starts screaming "get rid of them" since we cancelled order. Rude, filthy place! Much better options in town!

Lisa's pizza was the worst pizza I've had in years. Having tried some of the best pizza restaurants in Boston and New York, I have a good understanding of how a pie should taste. The toppings and crust were virtually tasteless and bland.. Almost like it was a frozen pizza reheated to serve. Don't waste your time and be disappointed in Lisa's, choose Rocco's a few blocks down the road.

Awful pizza. Tasteless and greasy. My wife and her family rave about it, but it's totally a nostalgia thing. Crust is like cardboard, the sauce is basically water with red food coloring and the cheese is the low grade highly processed kind. Don't get me wrong, I love a good greasy pizza, but there needs to be something behind it and that just isn't the case here.

I'm a pizza aficionado. This is NOT good pizza. Edible, but not something you go search for. Would only eat here if there was nothing else around and i was craving pizza. Slices are rather large, price is ok for what you get. Not NY style thin pizza. Thicker style pizza. Will definitely try the other pizza's around next time.

I love Lisa's Pizza the best. Hot gooey beach pizza. Then right next door is the fried dough...yummm. Sit on the benchs or walk over to the center concrete tables. But if you sit there watch out for the seagulls cuz they WILL attack you as you take a bite. If you are not careful they will rip it right out of your mouth...no joking!

Hands down some of the worst pizza around. It's on par with fair pizza. Bleh! Ignore the planes flying by with their ads and go to Jimmy the Greeks for some of the only good pizza in OOB.

My favorite place for Pizza in Old Orchard Beach. Large slices are still around $3, their fries are excellent and Fried Dough is great as well. This is the only pizza place in the downtown that is open in the wintertime and has a way to get people out of the cold.

The place has been their forever, pizza is ok, open year around. The staff is rude, think the own the place. Customer service good luck, I don't think they know what it means.

Loved the crinkle cut French fries. (And the people watching at Old Orchard Beach.)
(5)Leah R.
I was shocked to read some of the reviews raving about the french fries. They are not good. They're tastless. Even when I soaked them with vinegar and salt, they still were difficult to swallow. Have not tried the pizza or anything else. MUCH BETTER french fries across the street at Pier Fries.

Dreadful beyond speech. Truly warrants the one star. Cambells soup "sauce", bottom tier cheese and crust, they ought to have been embarressed to serve it.

Simply put, the French fries with salt and white vinegar are the best on the planet.
(5)Jeff D.
Go there for the fries! Skip the pizza. The fries are legendary!!!

Worst pizza I have ever had in my life! This includes the English muffin style ones we'd make in college! Awful! If you're on the verge of death, consider dying first before eating here!

I'm a huge fan of lisa's pizza. For anyone saying eat pizza somewhere else on the strip they are pretty much all the same its the classic old orchard beach pizza. Same with the fries classic pier fries.

I am not a pizza snob to start this review. I will eat Pizza Hut pizza, even though I prefer pizza from Sovranos in Albany and L&Bs in Brooklyn. This pizza was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. It sat in my stomach like a rock and I didn't even consider eating it cold after a night of drinking-so you know it had to be bad. Eat at one of the other dozen pizza places on the strip-avoid this one!!

While I would not call this great pizza I do not think it warrants the one star someone else gave it. It's what you'd expect from beach pizza catering to teenagers and drunk people walking back from the bar. It serves it's purpose well, and besides being a bit pricey I can't really complain.
