Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I was so excited to try this place since it opened - my mom had gone and said she had a decent dinner there. I went one Friday night when I was visiting my family to see for myself. We ordered the Hercules sampler with spanakopita, wings, and mozzarella saganaki. The mozzarella came out room-temperature and congealed on the inside with the breading also room-temp and soggy (perhaps sitting too long after it had been fried waiting to come to our table?). The spanakopita was so disappointing, as it was soggy on the inside and, again, the phyllo dough was not warm and crispy and flaky, but rather mushy and chewy, like it'd been sitting out. The BBQ wings were unremarkable except that they were also served to us room-temperature. We also ordered the signature gyro pizza because, well, it has "signature" in the name denoting it's the dish they're known for. Also, having "greek" in the name of the restaurant led me to believe that a gyro would be the best choice. This pizza, with gyro meat (?? that's what the menu says, but I assume it was lamb schawarma) and Tzatziki was a huge miss. Again, came out room-temperature (am I being redundant?), the Tzatziki was runny and lacked the rich, creamy depth I was hoping, and the mystery meat was a mushy consistency. Overall, the service is slow, the restaurant is not cozy (think more of a Clambake-type family-dining-style ruckus), and the food is not good. Thank goodness it was decently cheap, though from a value perspective, it still wasn't a good deal. I will not come back. there are so many new places popping up in southern maine that there is no reason to. Perhaps the scene is more for beers and partying? I don't know. But doesn't seem to be the place to choose for dinner.

Decent food, great beer selection on tap. Good prices and specials. I'm not sure what people are complaining about. The food isn't spectacular at any of the chain bar and grills either. Jimmy the Greek's has a ton of TVs with all the NFL games during the season. You can relax outside during the nice months and enjoy happy hour. And you can do these things all while choosing from an extensive list of draft and bottled beverages. The staff has always been very good there as well. Pizza and paninis are great, some other stuff we've had is average. Hmm... I think I just talked myself into going over for an IPA draft right now.

We went here after seeing an ad on TV, but will not be going back. The beer selection is very good, but that's pretty much where the good news ends. Food service was painfully slow... over an hour for an appetizer that I could put together in my kitchen in about 10 minutes. And the food quality was average at best, although the lobster panini was very good, although probably not worth the hour and a half wait. Unfortunately, the service staff had to keep apologizing for the backed up kitchen, which for some reason decided to use a Friday night service for training... that one was just beyond me.

A fun atmosphere to eat. The food is good and there are always extra activities going around. On Monday nights are trivia night and they also have extra space for any type of functions. They also have a mechanical bull at their expense. for a recommendation try the Baked potato pizza. the wings are also not bad. If you are a beer enthusiast they have a large selection on tap.

Go on Wednesday nights at 6 for brewer's night! Each week is a different brewery. There are prizes (usually a t-shirt or glass, sometimes even free beer!) The pizza is nothing to sneeze at, either. My favorite is the chicken carbonara pizza. The service is usually great, and Jimmy is a charismatic and friendly owner, a constant presence at the restaurant. Are you man enough to try the 100 beer challenge? If you can drink 100 different beers, you get a plate on the wall and a permanent discount on drinks!

On our way north in Maine on 95, my husband and I decided to stop for lunch so we took 195 toward Old Orchard Beach. We decided to stop at Jimmy's because it looked OK and we were really hungry. What a find!!!! Great food! Great service (thank you, Chrissy)! My husband and I shared a summer salad with fresh raspberries, blueberries, walnuts, fresh feta and mixed greens. Yummy dressing! My husband had the gyro ... "tasty" and I had macaroni and cheese with lobster, bacon and mushrooms ... to die for! The serving sizes were plentiful ... we left with a doggy bag. They also offer burgers, sandwiches, etc. The main room is huge (with some very large party long tables), clean and well decorated. Oh, and there are two or three dozen different beers ... just on tap! Altogether they have over 100 different beers! Next Sunday (June 10) they are sponsoring a chili and chowder challenge to benefit the Old Orchard Beach food pantry.) Good luck and good weather!
