While visiting family in Rumford from Massachusetts last weekend, my family took all of us out for dinner here. It was delicious! I have never had any good Chinese food outside of Massachusetts before. I will say this was by far the best I've ever had and the prices can't be beat! Will come here again on my next visit.

I have visited the Far East several times. You get Exceptional quality every time. The Food is always made to order. Servers are attentive and professional. The drinks made by the owner Mrs. Chow are amazing and always tasty. Every time I try a different Chinese Restaurant, I get disappointed. The Far East have distinguished themselves and I highly recommend you try them if you're in the area. Be sure to try the curry wontons.

Surprisingly good. For a small town this is exceptional. Good food and generous portions. A must eat.

I ate here twice last week while on a short vacation in the area. I have to say that the combination specials were tasty and a great value. I got pork lo mein with pork fried rice one day, and pork egg foo yung with fried rice the other day. The portions were a healthy size, and they cost me under $5 each. Can't beat that!

I've even here three times. Everything I've gotten (except the seafood rangoons) has tasted more like MSG than anything else. I won't be going back.

I get food here, usually multiple times, when I go "home" for my summer vacation every year. I grew up in the area, and this is the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The eggrolls are amazing, truly the best I've ever had, and thus far I have yet to find another Chinese restaurant that makes them like they do here. They have awesome lunch/dinner combination specials that are very affordable, and you can order them at anytime, not just during certain hours. The combination specials are what me and my family members usually order. Sometimes my parents splurge and order the Seafood Warbar platter, which always leaves them enough to take home for a second meal. In fact, the combo specials also have really decent sized portions and can be two meals for some people as well. I love their chicken wings, chicken chow mein, boneless spareribs, fried wantons... I could go on... Their duck sauce is also the very best I have ever had in my life. I hear they also make great alcoholic drinks, but I rarely order alcohol when I go out to eat, so I have not yet tried one there. If you have never been to this place and are contemplating ordering out or dining in there, I highly recommend you do!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
