Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We really enjoy everything that Lower Village makes. Burgers, Subs, Cheese Steak, Wings, Fries, Onion Rings, and, of course, the Pizza is great! A ton of toppings to choose from; really nice sauce and crust. Their prices are fantastic, as well. BIG portions, and a very friendly staff. The owner works there, and you can tell that he really enjoys what he is doing. Fast delivery, too...

Yelp is gonna censor this review, like all of my reviews, so I hope this finds some readers before I get banished. This place definitely deserves more reviews from the Yelp-ers. It is tucked out of the way in a sleeper half-mall thang off of the road between Kennebunk downtown and Lower Village / Taint Town. In fact, that might be why it's called Lower Village Takeout. But they don't do themselves justice with that name. It is actually just as much of a comfy sit-down subshop as it is a take-out joint. What I like about this place is that it is usually empty (cuz everyone gets take-out, I guess), always warm and pizza dough-smelling like, and very clean. These people keep a trim ship, and that makes me trust their food. I have actually nothing against filthy dives that also serve good grub, just to make that clear, but I think the clean ethic of these people is reflected in the quality of their food. They also happen to be super friendly, so that helps. VERY basic grub is served up here, pizza, subs, and a few other fried items, the kind of stuff that people just shouldn't eat (like mozzarella sticks and BBQ chicken tenders). That's it, if you don't count potato chips and soda. Everything I have tried here, and that is practically the entire menu, is good value for your money and made really well. Nothing spectacular, nothing to write to Julia Child about, but consistently satisfying. I give two thumbs up for their steak bombs, cheeseburger subs, cold italian and cold roast beef subs, and their "meat lovers" pizza. I mean, when you compare this to the $12 "special subs" they dole out down by Dock Square, it is just a no-brainer to make the extra effort to come here. But they don't serve seafood, so it's no wonder that noone writes to Yelp about them. They do claim to have gluten free pizza. Since I am gluten-insensitive I have not tried said items and cannot comment on the relative quality, but it does give you an option. And get this, the brews really are, as advertised, the cheapest in town. They have a fridge stocked with Budweiser and Miller, but also some better brews for like $8 a sixpack! Go figure!

This place is horrible! Ive given them many chances due to the fact that its a small town and I understand that accidents happen. for some weird reason, when you call an order in, they dont start making it until you get there. This has happened multiple times! Then my order was completely wrong, and the fries were still raw. When I called and asked them to fix it, they said it was my fault! So when I returned the raw fries and wrong order, they refused to fix it. it seemed as if they didnt care. So, after many chances, I will not return, and I strongly hope that anyone reading this will find somewhere else to eat! Youll regret it for sure.

Hidden gem in the lower village just outside the port. Love pizza and it's quick and easy when were at our place in Cape Porpoise. The food is delicious and the owner is Maine friendly! I'll be back for sure.
