We asked a bar tender where the locals have breakfast and he suggested All Day Breakfast . It was great. The kind of place where the waitress calls you "honey " or "sweetie ". Generous portions, bottomless cups of coffee, huge omelettes, massive pancakes. People kept coming through the door and all seemed to know each other.

Good but not amazing. My husband said his pancakes were good but spongy. Ham was pretty good. There were no gluten free breakfast options so I went with a Greek salad with chicken. The chicken was tasty but a bit salty. The dressing was very good. The staff was friendly.

Know why that dude in the main biz pic looks pleasantly full? Because he is, I reckon. A real charmer of a diner that does what it says - serve breakfast all day (and in the fine print, just a little bit of lunch, too). But ignore that back page of paninis and clubs for the heart of the packed house: Full Belly breakfasts! Differentiated only by the kind of pancake that'll do you in, each meal comes with two bacon, two eggs, two sausage links and... gigantic, doughy flapjacks loaded with blueberries (if you you choose correctly). Real maple syrup runs a $2.50 premium, which kinda sucks in Maine, and they harass you for ordering a diet soda. Small price to pay for a small price to pay - no breakfast breaks $10, and you get a ton of better-than-average fare. Staff are a bushel of peaches. Plenty of free parking. Eggs cooked to temp. Git it girl.

It's a bacon and eggs breakfast joint. They didn't screw up the eggs or the bacon so 3 stars automatically. The promised 15 minute wait was over 30, minus one star. The waitress never let my coffee cup go empty, plus one star. Fed my family for about $10 per person, a remarkable feat in kennebunkport, plus one star.

Long wait to be seated, but the service and food was outstanding. All 4 had very different dishes and loved them. Will come back.

Awesome! We had heard about ADB for years, and never woke up in time to avoid the rush...well, traveling with an 11-month old will get you up and out early, and we hit there around 7:15 one morning. Cute little place, and very, very friendly waitresses. Good coffee to start, and ordered blueberry pancakes (when asked if I wanted 2 or 3, I went with three, despite the warning about the size...more on that later...). My wife went with a vegetable and cheese omelet. Quick on the coffee, the place filled with locals....i think by 7:30 or so it was more than half-full, all seemingly locals, but us. However, that didnt stop friendly people from saying hello, or the waitress making us feel right at home. Breakfast arrived - three hubcaps of blueberry pancakes. Huge, really big. But, very light and fluffy, and very flavorful. Wife's eggs were very good as well, with good filling for the omelet. Definitely would go back next time in town.

I live right around the corner from ADB and I have always been impressed by my experiences. Being from the area, I know when the best time to go is...and when to DEFINITELY not even try. In the summer, you better get there early or late...the 930-1130 times are just packed, and you better be prepared to wait outside for over an hour at times. The menu is basic. There is nothing mind blowing or incredibly original, but if there's one thing I like, it's being able to do something well. And ADB does the basic breakfast foods very well. Their french toast, pancakes, and eggs are all great and I always pair every meal with a side of homefries. The blueberry pancakes are my personal favorite - they're big and delicious, with just the right amount of berries. Lastly, the waitresses are fun and friendly, and being a semi-regular, it's always nice to see the same faces and know you're going to get the same great service. It's a very Maine establishment, which is probably why I love it so much.

We stopped here on our way up the coast of Maine. It was a rainy, misty morning and All Day Breakfast was the perfect place to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee and breakfast. This place is small-and crowded. The crowds are for good reason-the food and service is great. I got the Mexican Omelet (cheese, onions green pepper and home made salsa) served with toast and home fries (my healthy eating took a vacation when I did). My husband got pancakes with sausage, toast and home fries, We both got coffee and orange juice. The service was very good-even though our server had several tables with huge groups-she was efficient and friendly. The tables all have interesting ceramic salt and pepper shakers on them. They are all different. All Day Breakfast is a cute and quaint restaurant PS-The address at the heading of the review says it is on Port Road-I believe it is also called Western Avenue.

Okay this is a little late. Anyway went up to ogunquitt for the 4th. I think it's hard to find a not too touristy place with good prices and even better food. This review is for 2 consecutive days. I found this place using yelp. First day absolutely loved it. Wait wasn't bad, the hostess was very friendly, the waitress an older woman was a sweetie. I got the cheese omelette with I think 4 different cheeses was delicious, the toast thick and yummy. My husband got the veggie omelet wonderful and a side if pancakes which were great. The breakfast was wonderful. So the next day which was the 4th we went again. Very long wait more Than 45 minutes but it was fine because we knew the food would be great. We noticed at least half the tables were empty which occupant meant they didn't have enough help. That was strange on a 4th of July weekend. The hostess was not friendly (someone different) the waitress was worse. We waited more than 10 or 15 minutes for her to even acknowledge us. Ordered coffee and asked for milk. Took her another 10 minutes to bring coffee no milk, asked her for milk and water as it was so hot in there. Never brought either so I asked the hostess who was just standing there. She said I'll get your waitress which she never did. The young waitress was so slow and so inattentive it just ruined our meal. But i am not going to judge this place on those two women. The food is really good much better than the other breakfast places around there.

I love pancakes. I normally judge a breakfast place by how good the pancakes are and The All Day Breakfast will not disappoint you. My wife and I have been coming here for years. The coffee is always hot and the breakfast is always good. I've tried the omelets, they are always large and full of what ever meats or veggies you like. My favorite, is the Blue Berry Pancakes. They are light and fluffy and full of flavor. They even come with a generous side of ham, bacon, or sausage. Prices are reasonable also. Our bill normally averages about $20.00 to $25.00 dollars. Staff is also very friendly. The only downfall is there sometimes can be a wait, but it is worth it.

Data point for all the hysterics regarding crowds and waits: june 30, 2015 at 11:15 am. Almost empty. Wonderfully fresh and delicious food. I got the Full Belly Blueberry Pancakes combo. Belly busting. Couldn't finish. Prices so reasonable. Staff very sweet, welcoming.

We love the wait staff, the food and local colorful personalities. We eat here every weekend and love it. The freshest ingredients are used and we love the attentiveness of the staff. Job well done.

The food deserves one star at best, but the service was wonderful so I give them two. I had problems with how greasy the food was and how there wasn't anything that seemed fresh, all frozen. My corned beef looked and tasted like dog food.

First time in maine with my family. Decided to have breakfast on our way back to Massachusetts, and we ran into the ALL DAY BREAKFAST in Kennebunk. Best breakfast we've ever had hands down!! Definitely made our favorite Maine restaurants list immediately!!

As the name professes they serve breakfast food all day, but don't confuse this with IHOP. Just about every meal/dish was no more than $8, quite the value. I had the Monte Cristo. It's tough enough to find this on most breakfast/brunch menus, but add home fries and a tin of the real Maine maple syrup (normally a $2.50 side) and you've got a home run in my book! The place does get packed but definitely worth the wait. Service was excellent, even though it was busy, and they look after your health (soda is bad for you!).

We haven't gotten our table yet after waiting 45 mins for a table of 5. If you have more than 4 people in your party forget about it. They only have tables that fit 4. The waitress/hostess was extremely ruin. It was a cold rainy day and everyone was waiting in small waiting area. Every time this waitress walked by she yelled at people She would say "this is ridiculous!!!! " What that there was a no place to wait for a table!! ??Awful!!! She even got in a yelling match with a customer. However the food was good.

Thoroughly enjoyable & delisioso. My spinach, mushroom omelette had all fresh ingredients and my wife's blueberry pancakes were enough to feed an army. Love their pancake batter. Great employees. "Wait"? Yep. Be prepared. The good ones like this are worth waiting for.

Good service and setting for breakfast. Don't get the Benedict. Hollandais is out of a can and the corned beef hash is too. Waffle was perfect though

Expect a wait, even getting there at 9AM on a Sunday, had to wait over 20 minutes for a table. But worth the wait. Pancakes were huge, and flavorful. Bacon was sugar cured and cooked well. Staff friendly. A very enjoyable breakfast.

Excellent Monte Christo and Blueberry Pancakes. Worth the wait. This place is a great local breakfast joint. We come up by boat and enjoy the short walk outside of town to get here.

Hubby and I walked in on a Sunday morning, expecting to wait at least 20 minutes after reading the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw several open tables and were seated right away! The waitress was super friendly and seemed happy to serve. When I explained that the cook need not include ham on my "everything but the kitchen sink" breakfast plate-she cheerfully announced that they would add more bacon and sausage to replace the ham! Fine by me! The bacon was crisp, the sausage snapped when bitten into, and the eggs, toast, and potatoes completed my idea of the perfect breakfast. Friendly, fast, delicious, & cheap!

Wow! Thought I would review this place as its fresh in my-- stomach. Ordered the meat lovers omlet with coffee and oj, and it did not disappoint. The omlet wasn't greasy, the home fries were great, and the coffee and oj were as expected. And now this is my favorite breakfast place in the country, I just wish I didn't live all the way in ATL now... This place does get CROWDED we arrived as they opened and as we left there was a long line. In conclusion, come here for breakfast you won't be disappointed.

The breakfast was tasty and not full of grease. The pancakes were huge and they use fresh blueberries. We also loved the eggs benedict. The english muffins tasted fresh - not like the ones you buy at the supermarket. The drawback was that I thought the portions would be bigger according to the reviews. Also, expect as least 1/2 hour wait. On the wall, there's artwork by local artist that's for sale. We love places that supports the local community. The waitress was funny and sassy so it's worth coming here for that.

Not sure what people wait an hour to eat here. The food is adequate and the waitresses very sweet, however there is nothing too homemade about any of it. Fruit was from a jar and the bread typical grocery store issue. The best were the pancakes - they were thick, fluffy, and yummy. Basic breakfast place with no flair. I would go again but never would wait in line to eat.

Great breakfast place. Having breakfast in Kennebunk's Lower Village is always a treat. There is also a sister All day Breakfast on Route 111 in Biddeford. It's the best breakfast place in the Saco/Biddeford area. Clean, good food that's well prepared and presented, and good service.

A good place to have a nice breakfast. There aren't much options in the area for a sit down breakfast. The service was great from start to finish. The coffee was ok and could have been better. That was the only down side. The blueberry pancakes and the chocolate chip pancakes were excellent. Order the 2 pancakes and not the 3 because the pancakes are huge. The side sausage was tasty and not cooked hours earlier. The fruit salad was also very fresh and a good choice.

Don't got here. Why? Because I want to, and the place is already crowded. You have to wait even on a weekday, but their French toast is excellent. Why they charge for real maple syrup ($2.50 for a very tiny container), I don't know. But I love the toast!

There aren't many places open during the off season & figured this might be worth the 25 minute drive from where we were staying. The service was pleasant & the coffee was decent. However, my daughter & I ordered blueberry pancakes (figuring that since Maine is known for its delicious blueberries, it would be a home run) but they had zero flavor. They were made with canned blueberries & were a huge letdown. I also expected pure maple syrup (I had been offered that at all of the other breakfast places I have tried in the area) but was instead served cold Log Cabin type syrup. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. :(

Yum, Yum, Yum! Blueberry pancakes please all day every day from here! Great menu, portions and options. The staff was really helpful and the whole building was clean and tidy. Get some better coffee and ya'll would be a 5 star review!

Great little place. We were there in June '11 and though it was crowded the service was great. Seemed like everyone were locals besides us -- a group of men were reading newspapers and talking about Rep. Weiner's scandal; another group of women were congratulating one on a new grandchild. Lots of talk between tables and kidding Cindy, the waitress, who sassed back. Wish there were more places like this! Excellent food, too.

I liked this little breakfast place. We were looking for a place to grab second breakfast (first breakfast had been at 5am), and this fine establishment hit the spot without hitting our wallet too hard. The waitress described the "white sauce" that would come with my bacon, mushroom, and pepper crepes as "bland," simply containing butter, flour, salt. I was surprised that a waitress would use such a negative, although honest, word for it, and she was right: it was bland. It needed salt and tons of pepper (the picture is pre-doctoring). The crepes needed a sauce, and a tastier white sauce would've made them spectacular. The waitress even came over to ask me what I thought, and I talked about what I did to it. She takes feedback to the kitchen all the time, which is kinda neat. Overall, though, the crepes were good, especially the bacon, which was cooked perfectly, chopped into proper little bits, and totally scrumptious. New England Coffee, to me, is a happy thing, and I was glad they served it here. Well brewed, fresh, exactly what I needed to fuel the rest of my drive home. Nice little place, great atmosphere (it's like eating in someone's really big living room), wonderful service. Totally worth the 10 minute detour from the rest stop, especially if you want more than rest stop convenience store stuff.

4 stars instead of five because although the breakfast was amazing, we waited almost an hour for our food. I had the veggie omelette with a side of bacon and a side of salsa. The salsa was the perfect topping for the eggs and it's homemade. Delicious! The bacon was done just right and our coffee cup was never empty. We waited a really long time for our food, but our server was friendly and kept calm in spite of the gazillion tables she was waiting on. I think the reason why the wait was so long is that it was labor day weekend and there were a bunch of huge tables ahead of us. They also should extend their hours- it's not really all day breakfast!

My girlfriend and I took a random trip from Boston to Maine (an hour trip that turned into 8 hours because of all of the fun things to see on the way), and ended up staying in some hotel off of I-95. To this day, I have no idea where we were. Anyway, the next day we did some more driving and ended up in Kennebunkport (adorable little place, by the way). It was the dead of winter, end of January I think, so there was no one around. We stopped at ADB and it's just awesome. Service is great, the food is fantastic, and the portions are perfect. I find that sometimes when I go out to breakfast, the potatoes and/or omelettes are too greasy and there's too much on my plate and I feel disgusting by the time I'm done. Not so at ADB. Good, quality food that makes you feel like a million bucks when you leave. I love this place.

This was a fun little country-kitchen place that delivers exactly what it says - all day breakfast (and sometimes lunch, in the high season). The food was fantastic - our respective pancakes and french toast were uniformly fluffy and delicious. There are good (not cheesy) nautical photographs on the walls for sale, but what's best about the place is it's own sense of humor about itself. Our salt-and-pepper shakers were in the shape of fat little tourists. Our waitress served up just the right amount of sass and she was as equally fun and friendly with all her tables, creating a breezy atmosphere. Definitely get your grub on here - Kennebunkport seemed to be suffering from a dearth of both a sense of humor about itself and affordable places to eat. Just over the bridge into Kennebunk is All Day Breakfast (all day being 7am - 3pm) - get fueled up and happy here.
