I work at a Summer Camp in Maine during the Summer. On one of my off days, I decided to head to Kennebunkport and on the way, I wanted to stop for a donut. Based on Yelp reviews I decided to go to Frosty's. Before ordering, I asked if they accepted cards. I was politely told that they do not, but that I could get a donut and come back the next day and bring cash. I was disappointed, and told the lady that I was from out of town and wouldn't be around again. She said "Well, you can't leave without having a donut." I politely declined, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She gave me a free donut! The customer service alone was enough for me to give Frosty's 5 stars! The donut was also awesome. I definitely plan on going back next summer and buying a dozen... and paying for 13. This place is great and the woman that runs it is a genuinely great person-- we need more people like her in the world!

Best donuts ever. Glazed donuts were freshly made. The donuts were soft and chewy with a great glaze, delicious. Iced coffee is the best around. Friendly staff and cute, quaint place on the corner in downtown Gardiner. Plenty of parking on street in front of shop. Donuts were hand cut and huge, best donuts around by far. Prices are in line with quality. Will go again soon.

My wife loved the Water Street Cafe, so she was both saddened and curious about Frosty's. She did some research, learned about their Brunswick location, and forced me to pull over. We grabbed the blueberry, chocolate glazed, and a coconut crème. I really enjoy coconut donuts and cremes in general. I was not disappointed. The donuts were rich and kept their moistness for three hours in the hot car. That's a really good sign! The wife thought the chocolate glazed was too sweet. I thought it was fantastic.

So glad we have a Frosty's in Gardiner now! Wonderful Donut Shop with excellent selection of Wicked Joe's Coffee. Staff are friendly and decent seating if you want to enjoy your Donuts on site. Overall solid location.

Musings: This new location is just as good as the others (and closer to my house as well, which I haven't decided is a good or bad thing; only time will tell). The proliferation of Frosty's locations is also great for people who used to make the pilgrimage to Brunswick at any time past 7:00 AM only to find that they were sold out of everything. Review: Frosty's is legendary. The donuts are all exquisite. Having spent basically my whole life in New England, I can honestly say Frosty's donuts are the best I've had. Especially the raised glazed--when in doubt get the raised glazed. If you're in Maine, seek out a Frosty's, life-changing donut.

Donuts are so good. I highly suggest the maple covered blueberry if they have it. The twist are also awesome. Make sure to bring cash because they do not take credit/debit. Plus get there early because this location sells out a lot.

Great doughnuts and fantastic coffee from Wicked Joe in Topsham. Nice assortment of flavors. Try them all. I think they might be the best doughnuts in the state. They always taste incredibly fresh. Certainly on par with Tony's in Portland and Hillmans in Fairfield. I have not tried Congdon's in Wells in a long time, but I remember them being very good too. Love the design of this restaurant. Fun place for kids with toy kitchen. Two bucks for a coffee and a doughnut. What a deal. Cash only.

Good Donuts! Reasonable prices! I haven't been in for a while due to the fact that whenever I got there they were out of donuts every time. My favorite would have to be their coconut creme! You can also never go wrong with a chocolate sprinkled donut!

Easily the best donuts I have ever had. There's a wide variety of risen and cake-style donuts, including jelly and cream filled varieties. Also great coffee and ice cream, and just down the street from a couple of nice parks and a riverfront boardwalk and marina.
