Real donuts. Real people (the server was making custom donuts with two young children when we came in). Delicious donuts, not in any way similar to the mass produced stuff you get at your local DDonut place on the way to work each day. These have body and flavor. In our case, it was a raised maple frosted mouthful of deliciousness. Oh, and the coffee's great, too. Fair trade and delicious. A very fun place to stop on a cold, rainy morning.

Fantastic donuts! I loved that they had chocolate with vanilla icing--like my favorite cake, but for breakfast. The maple was awesome too. Basically, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose here.

This place is great, from their freshly brewed coffee to the freshly baked donuts and twists, which reminded me of the Krispy Cream back in NY. You can also create your own donut or twist. If you like they will make you a nice italian soda which also tasted amazing. This place is easy to miss as its a bit inside from the main road. I am glad we didn't miss it. Its small and cozy with free WiFi so you can catch up on all your social media or upload the pictures and videos without relying on cell signal which tends to fail and drain battery. PS. CASH ONLY.

The real deal. When you need a real good doughnut you need a real good doughnut. This is it.

I stumbled upon Frosty's on a recent trip to Freeport and boy am I glad I did. This cute little shop has a GREAT donut and coffee selection. I recommend the chocolate raised (I couldn't even wait to take a picture before I took a bite as you can see below) and if they have it, peach mango iced tea. The donuts are smaller in size comparable to their competitors, but that means you can get two and not feel so bad about it. Also, their flavor makes up for the size completely. They're not as heavy as the Holy Donut and you can tell they're homemade. Other memorable mentions were the maple chocolate, blueberry, and vanilla bean. The woman behind the counter was super sweet and patient with my friend who couldn't decide what donut she wanted. There's nothing like getting a donut from an employee with a smile on their face. I guess, how could you not be happy in a donut shop? PLEASE NOTE, THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY. If you don't have cash, there's an ATM in the store. If you're feeling slightly famished and need a yummy treat to help you power through the outlets, Frosty's will be your place. Be sure to check their hours before you go!

The best donuts in Brunswick! The donuts are great with a very nice collection to choose from. The young lady behind the counter, the only attendant in the place, was very friendly with a quick and ready smile for each customer, even the grumpy old man with a bad attitude, and soggy rain drenched tourist (me). Frosty's a great and friendly place to enjoy a great donut, with a delicious cup of good hot coffee, while you dry out from a late Summer rain storm. Don't miss it, if you're looking for a great donut and warm hospitality.

The maple raised donut and the blueberry donut are tied for first place. First, the maple raised-it's light and fluffy with just enough sweet maple glaze to make it easy to eat in multiples. The blueberry donut is more of a cake style donut but not overly heavy. Both are delicious. And while I'm sure the other varieties are tasty, I always opt for one of these two. The donuts are $1/each which seems super reasonable. I typically stop here and pick up a box when my team at work needs a sugar induced pick me up. Everyone in my office is thrilled when they see that box in the morning. And what's not to love?

Maybe it was too late in the day or too humid out, but my vanilla frosted donut had no crispiness to it and was just dull. I'd give it another shot in the early morning I guess but can't give high marks on my one time there at about 2PM on a Sun.

Very MMMMMMM good! We stopped by and they were just getting ready to close for the evening, but were happy to wait on us. We got a couple of donuts and drinks. Very polite service and a neat little place.

The doughnuts here are unreal. We came on our first day in Freeport and returned the next day, because of how good they were. We had one of the raised cinnamon rolls, amazing. The doughnuts are so fresh everyday, you can also make your own doughnut with different toppings. The staff is also very friendly. Definitely worth coming to.

Love every single thing about this place! I can't think of a negative thing to say.

The boyfriend immediately told me to stop in here when we were in Freeport for the week. They were closed Mon-Thursday. I found Frosty's donuts at Bow Street Market though; so had a sprinkle chocolate one and a glazes twist. But they were so good, I went back Thursday morning to get some for the road. I had a blueberry maple cake style, which was SO GOOD. I had nibbles off the glazed ones I got the boy. ALL were awesome. Light and flakey, perfect blend. Get a blueberry maple if they have them, it was amazing.

I'm not really a donut person. I don't tend to go 'hey I want a donut' and seek them out (usually*). But in the case of Frosty's donuts, I have a bite and then need another bite. They are really really good. The glazed donuts are out of this world, the cake is tasty and rich. Fresh made every day! They are what Dunkin should be! *I ain't gonna front here

This place is very legit. Awesome donuts and phenomenal service. I went in mid-day on my ride through Freeport looking for a snack, and asked the employee which donut I should try. She spent a few minutes going over the products, and ultimately ended up giving me a few extra in my bag to taste. The chocolate raised was one of the best sweet treats I've ever eaten, and the maple honey glazed was light, fluffy and delicious. The one recommendation I'd give to Frosty's is to offer iced coffee, but aside from that I can't say enough about how great this spot is. Check it out!

Who knew there was a SoPo Frosty's? I didn't until a few weeks ago when driving home after one of my coaching sessions in the pool, prepping for my upcoming spring triathlon. Because I don't eat before my 7:30 lesson, I'm famished afterwards and I had noted the Frosty's sign on my way up Broadway. This Frosty's selection of donuts is vast. The Frosty's in Freeport always is running low on the flavors I crave, but the SoPo store bakes the donuts in-house, so selection doesn't seem to be an issue. My two stops recently had me choosing the raspberry jelly-filled. What can I say? As donuts go, Frosty's is king in my book. If you're the Dunkin' variety donut kind of person, change it up and try Frosty's. I'm sure you'll find it hard to go back to the DD variety of air-filled donuts. Or perhaps not. For me, if I'm going to splurge, and it's rare, I'm going for the Frosty-type of donut.

Cute place with a variety of donuts in Freeport's shopping center. I love the entryway, and the flavors it offers. Donuts were fresh and make a good presentation.

Too bad I live two hours away. I have been thinking I should let my fellow yelpers know that this is really darn good. The Boston cream was the best I ever had. I was stuffed so we just got a half dozen assorted to try for our little family of 4. I'm going to have to look into where the other locations are.

I went today - opening day! Great donuts. I will write more soon. I just wanted to be the first to review. Getting car sick as I write this. As promised, a more detailed review. I went to the Brunswick location earlier in the day and a lot of the flavors were sold out so I came into the Freeport location to check out what I missed out on. I tried the maple glazed chocolate, sour cream, and coconut. All cake donuts and all delicious. The donuts were light and fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. I talked to the owner for a little bit and she was super sweet. Frosty's-adding to my list of what makes Maine such a great place to visit.

Great price for good donuts. You get a lot of sprinkles for your money!! The twist is tasty and substantial. Friendly and free wifi. Password Twist.

I'm not a doughnut person but this was the best glazed doughnut I've ever had. Completely blows Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts out of the water.

These donuts are incredible! As a Brunswick resident and lover of Frosty's I was excited to see that the new owners were doing well enough to open a second store in Freeport. The location is great-- right on the main street, and the store is clean and cute. The donuts are made at the Brunswick location and brought to Freeport and there are many flavors to choose from including blueberry cake donuts and maple frosted! Stop in early (and often!) because they sell out fast. Good luck in your new location, Frosty's!

Excellent hand dipped donuts both cake and regular style. The coffee is great but it's the donuts that make it a nice stop, particularly for a strong sugar rush during a Freeport shopping day. The wi-fi is nice and the staff is always friendly here. The donuts are always fresh, made in the little shop itself so there isn't much to no like about Frosty's. Try the French Cruller if you're not up for anything with lots of icing. mmmmm!

Really this is just an "average" donut place. Nothing you can get here that you can't get at Dunkin donuts (except wireless, which is nice) The people are very nice. It's a nice little environment, but nothing wowed me in exchange for the cost and the calorie trade off. When I go to a donut shop on vacation, I want something I can't get anywhere else if I'm going to burn the calories on this stuff. It's all fresh, and good, and friendly, but just not worth a special stop off.

Fantastic! And this was on a Sunday night at closing. Blueberry maple donut was so yummy! Wife had coconut cream donut and also delish. Can't wait to go back when full selection available.
