Friendly great service and homey atmosphere! We had the 'Drunkin' Mussles' to start. They have two for $20 specials throughout the week. They smoke their own BBQ. We are definitely going back!

Driving home from Sugarloaf my friends and I are looking for a diner or some family owned restaurant. We saw GrantLee's Tavern & Grill and said this is the place. Tow of us got the pulled pork plate. It was great pulled pork although a little different. It was bigger pieces then I am typically used to but great flavor. Also it had those little bits of burn/caramelized meat that you got to have in good BBQ. GrantLee's makes there own BBQ sauces. There are 5 to choose from. One was called "Carolina" style. This BBQ sauce was NOT Carolina style but overall the sauces were great. Another one of us got Ribs. Simply put these were probably the best ribs I have ever had in my life, no exaggeration. It also should be noted that their coleslaw was amazing. I am not a big coleslaw guy but GL's slaw stood out. Perfect flavor, texture and crunch. Finally I was extremely happy about the fact that they had sweet tea. I lived in North Carolina and love sweet tea. Any time I see it on the menu I always order it. If you are in the area I highly suggest checking out GrantLee's.

Who would think to get great BBQ in Farmington! The BBQ brisket sandwich I had was amazing, along with the choices of BBQ sauces on the table, they range from smokey, spicy, original, and sweet. Of course we had to try them all. The atmosphere was awesome, it was all civil war memorabilia, especially about General Lee. If you are hungry it is a must to stop here!

We were very disappointed. We walked in and were told before we sat down that the were not serving the specialty burgers and sandwiches (which included a philly cheesesteak which I didn't think was specialty). We asked why and the waitress told us these took too long to cook. We said ok. We ordered Bud light and that came flat. We ended up getting chicken fried steak that was good but at that point we were starving. The were not really busy, it was 6 on Friday night and there was one other table.

First, don't be put off (if you are that type) by the biker's welcome Budweiser sign. Super clean very nicely decorated restaurant awaits inside (a true revolutionary war fan clearly set the tone). Food is excellent, good beer selection, and staff friendly and knowledgeable. Worth going a bit out of the way for and visiting more than once. Easy on the wallet as well!
