Had breakfat here 3 days in a row and it was very good each time. Innovative menu, fresh ingredients, lots of coffee/espresso choices and very clean. Belgian waffles and eggs Benedict are good choices. Very friendly staff.

This is a nice cafe in Bethel, ME that serves a great cup of coffee and pretty awesome hash! I have only eaten here once, but was very impressed with the lamb hash (yes, lamb hash)! My eggs were delicious and the homemade, gluten-free toast was too! The atmosphere is an eclectic mix of kitschy collectibles and local art work. The baked goods are made on site and were fantastic! If you're hanging out in Bethel, ME - give Erin's a try!

Thanks for your reply Jason... We will certainly give it another try. I don't usually write my reviews the same day that I go. I try to give a place a few times and then write a review at some point. So very well could be that I have not been in since you took over. We'll stop by soon... Thanks again.

This place is quite a little gem. So happy we didn't head to a random diner. Firstly, our hotel hostess pointed us in the direction by saying its the "yellow house down the street" which I thought was very cool since many of the businesses in that area are based out of houses. Although it did worry us at first since the place was so tiny. We walked in with a parade of other people, but yet we all were able to find a quiet seat and gain equal attentive service. Waitstaff were fantastic, very pleasant and fast. My husband and I ordered the eggs Benedict. We appreciated the seasoned potatoes which had fresh herbs, as well as absolutely perfect poached eggs. The ham that was used looked like it came from a spiral sliced ham which I thought was awesome. The one downfall was the hollandaise sauce which was too heavy, but we were happy it's homemade. Their menu is very cool too... I was on the fence on whether or not to get the bananas foster waffles whiched looked delicious as well. They also had items like bison hash as well (?!) If you're looking for a homey, yet inventive and delicious, meal away from the crowds this is the place to go.

This cafe has replaced the former Isabella's Sticky Buns Bakery & Cafe which itself had replaced the former Mouse & Bean cafe. The current owners also operate the Route 2 Diner in Rumford, ME. The primary changes are (a) much larger menu with an awesome all-day-breakfast focus and (b) actual waitresses providing table service. The original coffeehouse vibe is mostly gone as the place has been rearranged to fit more standard tables & chairs in place. The free wifi tradition continues. First things first: this place has a Facebook Page instead of an actual website. You'll have to find it yourself however, since you can't put facebook URLs into Yelp business information. I'm envisioning some dark office where a Yelp MBA cackles gleefully at yet another anti-competitive tactic that does more to annoy users than add actual business value... My first time in so I'll have to update this review a little later. I'm used to seeing this spot as primarily a place to get great espresso based drinks so at first it was sort of sad to see the new cafe focusing on a much larger menu with actual servers & table service rather than the "coffee house" type setting that various businesses had tried over the years. However given that the previous tenants had not lasted this is a good change! Place was bustling at 9:30am on a Tuesday morning even during a "non peak" tourist time. Food menu is great; there is a breakfast menu with a lot of crepe, waffle and other options that is offered all day. There is also a separate lunch menu for those inclined to sandwiches and salads. Staff are friendly and great. Coffee menu is large and has a ton of options for espresso based drinks (iced and hot) although my first Cappuccino was pretty disappointing. It tasted like black coffee in a cup with some steamed milk dropped on top. If you are a coffee nerd you will probably find that the best coffee/espresso service in the area can be found just down the street at Cafe Di Cocoa but you'll have to weigh your options -- great coffee from a place that is more of a vegan/organic oriented bakery vs. the nice sit down service and large menu at Erin's. My fantastic crepe more than made up for the coffee experience. I'll absolutely be back, there are too many things on the menu I want to try. Overall this is a fantastic addition to Main St. and I hope the new owners have massive success.

As vegetarians, my boyfriend and I LOVE this place! The food is SO good and there are always so many options and specials! The food is always delicious. The regular coffee, not so much, but get something "special" for coffee (flavored espresso or something) and it is delicious. Just moved to Florida and I will definitely miss this place!

Couldn't tell you how the food was, we were ignored for 20 minutes by all of the waitstaff until a table was cleaned for us. When it finally was and we were being sat, we were informed by our waitress that her last table had been sitting there for 30 minutes and she still had to take their order. Needless to say we left and went to The Crossroads Diner down the road where we were immediately greeted and served a great breakfast.

I've been to the Rt.2 location and loved the rugged feel to it. This location is much more warm and homey. Staff is very friendly...our waiter fulfilled all of our requests with a smile. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and it was okay...it was served on toast and not on an English muffin and it had a bit too much Hollandaise sauce. The ice coffee was good and the waiter happily brought me brown sugar. Will probably return but I think next time I will order crepes or waffles.
