I love this place! It's just around the corner from my apartment (which is dangerous) and they have the best calzones! I also love that all the cops and ambulance crews eat here all the time!

The pizza is kinda so-so, but it hit the spot as a late lunch on my drive from Bar Harbor to Portsmouth. Makes for a perfectly fine meal, but no better than you'd expect from, say, Pizza Hut or Domino's. The best part was getting a free two-liter of soda with our pizza, which was pretty sweet. I don't think I've ever gotten that deal anywhere.

One of the unofficial jobs I have is "pizza aficionado" (self appointed). Wherever I go, I attempt to seek out the best pizza in town. Here is my choice for "Best Pizza of Bangor, Maine". ANGELO'S! Generous, flavorful toppings and a perfectly prepared crust. Not much more to say about pizza. Angelo's is what it's all about!

Outside looks a little homely but good thing we didn't judge a book by its cover. Inside was very clean & orderly. Pizza was fantastic!; Great crust, dough, topping. Order only took 10 minutes and the price was extremely reasonable!

This is a great local, been-there-a-long-time pizza place. Great crust, sauce, cheese adn all-you-can-drink self-serve fountain soft drinks. I had the chicken parm for dinner the last time here. Amazingly HUGE portion - could easily feed two people. The chicken itself was more like chicken fingers as opposed to a nice grilled or baked chicken breast, but the sheer volume, texture, and taste of the sauce, pasta, and cheese was awesome... It came with a small but "big enough" portion of garlic bread. Good salad size portions as well. I'm a repeat customer here when I'm in town!

Great food, and they have the best steak and cheese around. Grilled chicken cesar salad used to be my fav but they have changed the recipe and the dressing is not as good and croutons are cheap. Anyway pizza, subs etc all good.. just don't get delivery, go pick it up or you will wait forever, like an hour and a half at least. Drivers go out of the way to deliver a further order instead of dropping yours off first, then you get the food and it is ice cold. Anyway, just go pick it up and save the aggravation.

Bangor's best pizza. The Greek pizza with olives and feta is my favorite. They also make a very nice salad for when you are in the mood for something lighter

When I'm in the mood for pizza and I'm not making it at home, Angelo's is the place I go. You can beat the price for a slice or two for lunch. If I'm going to buy a whole pizza, I always get the Greek pizza (olives, spinach, feta).
