We stopped here on a road trip. Great pit stop with great service. Lots of heart breakfast items on the menu as well as a well priced breakfast buffet. If you are in the neighborhood this is Definitely worth a visit!

Classic diner food. I really like the breakfast served here. It is good, homemade food for a low price. They have a variety of breakfast combos, skillets, and a breakfast buffet. I have yet to try their baked goods, but this place has a bakery much like you would see at Governor's.

Rebecca's is hands down the best breakfast I have had anywhere.. This is a total hole in the wall where all the locals come for breakfast. Everything is cooked fresh, tastes amazing, and the older lady that works here is pretty funny and cracks her wise jokes. I was in town for a week and ate here 3 times each plate I tried was great. The ultimate skillet will probably give you a heart attack but its all worth it, the pancakes here are also very good but what makes them so good is the local maple syrup they use and the eggs Benedict are also very good.

Just went here the other night and wanted to write an update. Food quality is still great but portions appear to be smaller. Another change seems to be an annoying "Door Bell" that is really loud and distracts from a good time. I believe this door bell is to let Waitress's know when their food is up, so it never seemed to stop ringing. Prices also seem steeper with Calamari app at 10.00 which seems a bit high. Not really likeing the changes.

This is consistently a good breakfast joint. The buffet is priced right, and the food is decent, too. The regulars are older, and have likely been supporting this small local eatery for years. I'd say that's a blessing! Consistent customers are a restaurant's bread and butter, and nothing to be sneezed at. (I find it amusing that a couple of young people have actually marveled at the fact that "old folks" dine here, in their reviews of this restaurant...apparently these little birdies aren't going there to EAT? Maybe they thought this was a singles bar, where they could come to sip Mimosas and look cute?) Don't let silly details deter you from coming here. It's a comfortable, mom-and-pop restaurant, with a very low noise level, even when it's a full house. Come get some breakfast!

Best breakfast in Augusta. Nice Buffett on the weekends. Service is great. Most dishes are homemade.

Decent breakfast/brunch buffet for the price. Nothing remarkable but I'd come back again if my dining companion was paying.

I hate to sound like I am age-discriminating, but rebecca's is definitely catered more to the old folks-- as in retirement age. Every time I've dined at Rebecca's, be it lunch or dinner, many blue-haired peppermint chomping women knitting mittens for the gran-chillens are flanking me. I enjoyed their deep-fried mushrooms, and when I ordered the crabmeat roll, I found it to be the opposite of what was said in the review below me... the roll was OVERstuffed with crabmeat and I almost tore my stomach lining trying to cram it all in there. I ordered one pasta dish (ziti alfredo I think?) and I wasnt too impressed. It was greasy and bland. Their desserts always look tantalizing but I never had enough room. Rebecca's was an okay place to go to try something new in the area, but it isnt one of my favorites and never will be.

Rebecca's Place is a little hit-or-miss. Since I can't give 3 and a half stars, I decided to be generous with the 4th star. Like many many places, Rebecca's has such a huge menu that it is impossible for them to do everything well. Soups and Chowders are very good. Most of the fried seafood is nice and fresh and good. Baked haddock was very good one day, baked scallops not-so-good the next time we visited. A crabmeat roll was just dreadfull....basically a huge scoop of mayonaisse with a little crabmeat in it. Macaroni and Cheese was orange, but barely tasted of any cheese. Someone at the next table sent back their veggie lasagna...I'm not sure what was wrong with it exactly. I'll keep trying different things at Rebecca's place, but I'll always be afraid that I've ordered something on the down side of their menu instead of on the up side. I wish more restaurants would limit their menu and just do what they do best.

My husband and our 10 month old daughter stopped here on the way home from Union on a whim. We were starving and it looked good. We were SO glad we did! The food was amazing. I had the big lobster roll and my husband got the scallop roll. Hand battered onion rings too. To die for! My only complaint, which isn't really a complain, but I was a little disappointed they didn't have a decent draft beer selection. With all of the cool local breweries in Maine and New England, I would have expected some Shipyard or Gearys at least. The best they had was Sam Adams in a bottle. They have a full bar, so this didn't make much sense. The wait staff was super friendly, the food came quickly and OH the bakery was also amazing. The cream horns were huge, the cookies were yummy and everything else that we didn't get looked really good too. Will definitely stop in again when in the area. Highly recommend.

We were just passing through on Labor Day and were very happy to find someplace other than Duncan Donuts open for breakfast. I felt like we had walked in to the owner's house--pictures of kids and grandkids (apparently) on the walls, down home sort of feel, lots of locals. Had no idea what to expect for breakfast, but boy were we impressed. I'm a vegetarian and not a pancake person, so I honed right in on the veggie skillet. When it came out, I had to say, WOW! That's beautiful! A bed of potatoes that had been cooked with peppers and onions, piles of fresh sautéed spinach (not frozen! Thank you!!!) and some perfectly cooked broccoli, not too hard, not to soft. Topped with several (2 or 3? don't know) scrambled eggs, with a side of homemade wheat bread, and it was a home run. I was so happy that it wasn't drowning in cheese or grease. It was just what I wanted. I was stuffed but didn't feel like I'd hossed down something sinful. My Sweetie got his basic eggs over medium, home fries, wheat toast and sausage and said it was the best breakfast he'd had in a long time. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and boy is he picky about that! Service was sweet and friendly, and there were lots of refills on our coffee and tea, never had to ask. I would totally come here again, and I'm kicking myself that we didn't buy a loaf of that bread on the way out!
