Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

The food here is just as good as Mi Casa. Everything you'd expect for Mexican fare. I had the enchilada platter and it was quite good.

The marketing for this small restaurant is slick and promises you'll want to come back. Not this diner. Other reviewers rave about the subs and sandwiches. Actually the best thing of our whole meal was the seasoned fries. Perhaps we made the mistake of ordering the Tex-Mex offerings. We ordered nachos -- the cheese sauce was too liberally applied and obviously canned. For our main course we ordered burritos which turned out to be bland with no seasoning. Even adding the restaurant's fresh salsa, couldn't save the dinner. Our waitress was helpful and very friendly. A male server who delivered our meals was the opposite -- frowning and didn't seem to want to be working. As a lunch counter for subs, hamburgers and fries, this may be a good choice. But to meet the expectations of the rest of the menu, the owner needs to find a new chef.

Had an awesome chicken fajita platter for lunch today. Place seems pretty new (they have a sign for temporary hours/ had a photographer in there.. so I'm guessing they are still setting up). A great addition to the area. I will need to go back and check it out during happy hour =P

Save your time and money, skip this place. My wife and I were both disappointed with our meals. Inconsistent food temperature and very bland.

They closed down a month ago due to lack of customers and that is due to the lack of good food and service. Strangely another Mexican food place is opening there soon. Hopefully it will be a good place to eat.

The food here is tasteless and dry. It would be great if they were a more casual place where nearby residents could get a quick bite to eat. Something mroe like a baja fresh style restaurant. Unfortunately they try to be something they are not.

I wish I NEVER stepped a foot thru the door....looks appealing from the outside....The food tasted like a frozen TV dinner, that had been expired for at least a year....I don't think alcohol could have helped this meal....I would recommend the shell gas station over this restaurant....Shell Gas Station has two hot dogs & a coke for $3.33

The margarita was good but, the nachos were not that great

I believe last time I was here I was starving and desperate. Definitely not a 3-star joint. Won't be back until the next time I'm that desperate:(

It's a Mexican grill in a shopping center. I mean, what do you expect? Pretty much standard stuff, bits of meat in a tortilla shell with canned enchilada sauce, melted cheese, and beans and melted cheese, and lettuce that for some reason only the great god of Mexican food knows, is served on a hot plate which immediately wilts it so that the only way to eat is to put melted cheese on that as well. So here is the good part - the Flan was pretty good, so good that I asked if it was from a mix......
