Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Not sure why people are complaining about parking. True there are only a few spots right outside the door, but there is a giant parking lot right next to the building. To avoid the lines, we usually show up right when they open and usually walk right in, order, and are eating within 2-3 minutes. Showing up any other time and the lines are usually long. Overall, a typical Chipotle.

I stopped in and started my order. The next person in the assembly line kept walking off holding the line up. After being held up in line for 5 minutes my order finally was finished. It's a small location to begin with then to have the employees run off the line while customers are waiting is really not the way to get people to come back.

Extremely slow. I've visited this location on multiple occasions at different times of the day over a period of a year. Every. Single. Time. I. Wait. At. Least. 20. Minutes ! I'm done & over this location. Oh and the staff is mediocre at best.

This chipotle is incredibly slow. There is always a line. When you order ahead, your food is cold...even when you pick it up early or right on time. If you come to this location, don't come hungry because by the time you get your food you will be starving!

I placed an order here today to be picked Up at 11 AM. We arrived at 11:15 on purpose because they tend to run behind with online orders. Not only had they not even started making it, but the cashier had to remind them to finish it several times. To make matters worse, I watched as the girl wrapping the burritos tore and massacred every burrito we ordered only to quickly wrap it in foil so it wouldn't fall apart. When we got home, the burritos were not labeled so we had a time trying to figure out whose was whose and none of them were made correctly as far as ingredients. This was by far the most disappointing experience I have had at Chipotle ever. The only saving grace was the cashier who was very nice from beginning to end and offered us a free drink for our wait. Kudos to her.

Best. Chipotle. Ever. I've eaten at Chipotle an average of 3x a week for the past 8 years. I know. I should be seeing a therapist about this. Let me tell you, this is the best Chipotle I've ever been to. HUGE portions. Friendly staff. What more could you ask for? This place is like hitting UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, X, O, X and unlocking the secret "giant burrito" level. The line is long sometimes, but that's Chipotle for you. The Columbia location has a longer line and is super skimpy. If you're too "upscale" for the security mall area, good. Stay away. More Chipotle for me.

Wtf. Order my meal using the app they had 4 hours to have my order ready. When I got there. You know it. Not ready. It got missed? Really? So I get to wait with the other people in the line. What is really going on in this place is sheer madness. I know this happens but you had a 4 hour head start and you couldn't get it right. I know chef Gordon Ramsey would call the whole crew stupid cows and I would agree with him. This restaurant need help.

Today wasn't a good day for Chipotle. Food was bland and of course they were out of chicken and it held up the line because everyone wants chicken!! Well at least the line moved fast and we didn't have to wait long.
(2)Michael M.
Horrible service. I got a quesadilla (wanted to switch it up for a change) and they carelessly tossed hardly any steak on the tortilla and threw some cheese on top and wrapped it in aluminum foil. Waited about two minutes after I paid to receive an uncut quesadilla wrapped in aluminum foil tossed in a bag. No napkins, sour cream or anything extra. I asked if they could cut it for me to which the cashier replied "we don't do that". I reiterated in awe "you don't cut quesadillas?" At which point a separate associate chimed in with "No. There's knives?" as she pointed around the corner to the plastic utensils. Outstanding customer service here! I'd rather drive an extra 20 miles to a different Chipotle. Unbelievable.
(1)Aida M.
The line moved very quickly! There was enough staff to assist on the creation line. Chicken had a bit of a smoked slightly burnt taste but it was still delicious. The young lady asked me a question then reminded me I just replied no. Didn't like the smart remark but service was still awesome!!!!

I love Chipotle, But I hate this location! First of all when I got there were like 7-8 people in front of me it took us long time till it became our turn! The stupid thing was" their bathroom had a sign it says to enter a code in order to unlock it! I strongly can say it was the most stupid sign I have ever seen at a restaurant! The restaurant was filthy inside and tables for dirty! I will not come back again to this chipotle!
(2)Steven J.
This is the worst Chipotle I've ever seen. Even the layout of the restaurant isn't friendly like others I have seen. They don't even want you there it feels like. The staff was slow and mostly not very courteous. One of the staff members was loud for no reason and extra aggressive. The cashier tossed my mother's cup into her bag and they were all curt and lacking basic customer service skills. For someone who isn't a regular customer I see no reason to become one.
(1)Mike O.
I absolutely love Chipotle but this particular location is really bad. The parking is horrible during the work week & you need a code to enter the restrooms! The code is given to you at the bottom of your receipt which means you get to take your food into the public restroom...lovely!
(2)Jenn S.
I am done with this place. This is only the 3rd time I've eaten there and this is the 2nd time that all the Barbacoa in my salad was one giant fatty chunk of meat all stuck together. I could barely eat it since it grossed me out so much - what a waste of $8. Also, extremely slow service when trying to pick up an online order that was already paid for. Isn't faster service the whole point of being able to order online? I love me some Chipotle but this one has got to be the worst around. I suggest skipping it.
(1)Jimmy S.
Great food and the customer service was not bad. I got the steak which was cooked well and juicy. I will be back
(5)Dave A.
Slowest... Chipotle... Ever. When did full-grown beards and big gold chains become acceptable attire? Corporate would love this. Not your typical Chipotle.
(1)Crystal S.
The food is extremely processed, with oily cheese, tons of salt and preservatives, and low-quality fatty meats. It made me quite ill. I have no real idea why this place has a line out the door every day during lunch hours.
(1)Matthew P.
Honestly this is by far THE WORST chipotle I have ever been to. Been here 4 times and bad experiences every single visit. This one tonight just over the top. I ordered through the app. Arrived a little early but not ridiculously early and there were about 5-6 people in line. However it was not moving. She gave me my receipt and told me they were out of steak and chicken and it was cooking. After waiting about 20 minutes and watching the line grow almost the whole restaurant they made about 4-5 orders and gues what......they ran out of white rice. They made a call saying if you were getting brown rice you can come to the front of the line. Another 10 minutes go past and I finally have to ask the lady are you going to make my order and she finally gets it going. Get my order. Get home and find huge chunks of basically someone who cut the steak any type of way. Will never be returning to this location and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.
(1)David G.
Alas, the search is over!! You have now found the absolute worst chipotle location on the planet. The line moves mind-numbingly slow, the staff is rude, and the steak is always cooked poorly. I literally have stood in line for 20 minutes with about only 4 people in line.
(1)Hay D.
I've been to a lot of Chipotle's and both times I've stopped by here (both times on weekend afernoons), I've been impressed. The counter staff might not be all smiles, but they know how to assemble a decent meal -- in terms of quality and portions. Honestly, I expected a worse experience for that particular neighborhood, but the food service is right on.
(5)Got I.
Location and parking lot is way too small. Glad this isn't my local location, I probably wouldn't go. Something is wrong with the food here. It doesn't taste like Chipotle typically tastes. The food tastes watered down with little to no flavor. Even the chips were bland and chewy instead of crunchy. Odd. I've been twice, never again. The employees were polite, if it weren't for that I'd give 0 stars.

This Chipotle is not my favorites. However, it's the closest to my home and therefore automatically becomes the one we visit the most. When they first opened the lines were HORRIBLE, but that's to be expected seeing as though it really is the first Chipotle in this area. The inexperienced staff didn't help things, especially when they had every other burrito needing a re-wrap. Some time has past and they have gotten a tiny bit better, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Such as the music inside the shop being much too loud. At times you find yourself yelling over the glass at the workers because they can't hear you. They still haven't gotten a hang on the portions sizes. Sometimes they will give you a half scoop of rice, and you may have to correct them on what extra meat actually means. Also ordering online is a joke at this place. You end up waiting longer for your online order to be made (which should have already been made before you even stepped in the door) than if you had just braved the line. The food is standard Chipotle nothing bad about it, although I do find myself adding extra salt at times because of lack of proper seasoning. On another note parking around this Chipotle is an absolute joke. It's terrible just be prepared to be on alert at all times. Drivers around this area have no consideration for other at all.

Chipotle should never run out of lettuce. Taco with out lettuce isn't a taco. First and last time at this location.
(1)April S.
Mind you, I love Chipotle, I go here and it's always crowded long lines it's like a mini club. I yet to arrive here and it has down time like most other locations. I will not give up on them. But if your a fan you will wait in line.
(3)Juana G.
This location is convenient. A lot of high school kids who cheat you out on servings. I had to get bold a few times. Place of convenience....
(2)Michael L.
Just like being home except even more popular here. The wait line was out the door!
(5)H R.
If I could pick a negative star I would have. When it first opened the staff was great and the food was too. Over time the staff has gotten worse (loud, obnoxious, unprofessional), there never seems to be anyone in charge there, the place is dirty, the line has gotten slower (if that was even possible), and the food is abysmal. The food tastes like water. Someone please introduce them to seasoning and tell them rice is not supposed to crunch. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt for a while now thinking it would get better, but it hasn't. I told myself that last week was the last straw and I'd never go back there. Today I ate at another location. It was clean, I was in a long line for only 5 minutes, and the food was perfect. I am so happy to have had REAL Chipotle again. That just sealed the deal that I am over this location.
(1)Jordan K.
This is my 2nd Chipotle experience since I rather go eat at a mom n pops Mexican joint. Our friend wanted to go here so off we went for lunch. I ordered the carne asada burrito with the usual fixins, which was all of it! They had to wrap it with another tortilla :) Service was excellent and friendly ladies. It was lunch rush so the tables could have been cleaner.
(4)Michael D.
The slowest chipotle ever. I swear I was just in there and 40 people were waiting. After 10 minutes I couldn't take it. The one time I've actually gotten to the register, the people making the burritos were so mean and careless - I can't imagine why people are waiting forever for what is for all intents and purposes fast food. If you have an hour to waste for mediocre food with horrible service, you'll love this!
(1)Thomas O.
The slowest chipotle I have encountered so far. Don't get me wrong, the lines waiting to order is ridiculous but with more people should come with the servers knowing what they are doing and moving fast enough, but "NO" that's what you get when you hire high school kids to be your server all In the name of minimum wage! Smh! . P. S Food is always great as usual so my rating is only for Services Rendered!
(2)Janine Z.
The food is great because it's chipotle. But I've had many problems with the service. Only thing that keeps me coming back is the conscience. The other closest chipotle is 20 min away.
(3)Trisha V.
I can't stand this chipotle! They are never organized, you wait in a long line just to hear that they are out of chicken...what the hell? What kind of restaurant can't estimate portions, they need to retrain their employees. Less talking more cooking, it's not rocket science!
(1)Cassie S.
So this is an update, but: as the initial novelty of this place has started to wear off, the lines have gotten a lot less terrible. The food, thankfully, remains super awesome. My fiance was delighted, when we went there last night, that all the ingredients in his bowl were incredibly fresh. We also enjoyed reading a bag with an all-new ChipotleRant on it. There is now officially no reason whatsoever to drive all the way to wherever the next nearest Chipotle is, folks. Hurray!

I've never been to a bad Chipotle. When I heard there was going to be one located close by to me I was so excited. Tonight I decided to drop by. I got there around 9:30 and there was only four people in front of me. Let me start of by saying that this is the worst Chipotle I've ever been too. There were only two people dishing out the food. Some people were sitting on the stools closest to where they were ordering. Did they already know it was going to be awhile before they paid? When it did finally get to my turn, I ordered a bowl and burrito to go. Is the rice suppose to be sticky? It looked like the rice you use for sushi. As my server was dishing out my rice she yelled to the back "I saaiiidddd I needed brown rice!!!" Wow! As I waited for someone to add meat to my dish...a workers comes out with new container of sour cream. My original server stopped what she was doing and asked loud enough....why is it so runny? She moved over to the container and played with the spoon and container. The other worker said it was a new mix. I was so bewildered that when it got time to order mild medium or hot tomato...I ordered medium. I have yet to eat my burrito bowl. I was worried I would get sick by the food such as the sour cream that I wouldnt be able to warn others. I think I will drive the extra miles and go to Columbia or Arundel Mills to get Chipotle. I don't want to test my stomach. So wish me luck as I digest this food. Please Chipotle. ..train your staff on how to act, cook, serve, speak (don't yell and you don't have to tell me the guacamole cost more....I know....just put it on my food), and please...I do not want to see someone's fat hanging out from worker whe n they are changing the trash. Beware customers. ..beware! !!
(1)Cindy J.
Food is good when hot. Doesn't taste as good when you warm it up. Must eat when you get it.
(4)L S.
never had a complaint about the chipotle chain until i came here. got a salad bowl and there was about a half cup of liquid at the bottom of the bowl as i was finishing up the salad. don't know what it was from - lettuce, salsa, almost frozen corn? never had that experience anywhere. staff courteous enough - food - lot to be desired. oh and my green peppers and onions were hardly done - halfway raw.

My girlfriend and I decided to stop by this Chipotle and we didn't have the most pleasant experience.. First off, we went during dinner time and obviously for a chipotle there will be a line out the door. I wasn't surprised by how long the line was but the hooligans that were in it... Yelling out rap verses, checking out every girl vigorously that comes through the door, and just being inappropriate. Second, the workers were friendly but they seemed very inexperienced. I've been to various chipotles where the line was quite steep and it took a reasonable time to get my food but this place took forever! Also both mine and my girlfriends burrito was poorly made... Meat all on one side, literally 5 strands of lettuce(when we asked for more it was 10 strands), and terribly wrapped. We got our food to go and ate at a friends that lived near by, told her about our experience at that chipotle and she was surprised at all... Giving it two stars only because its chipotle and the workers were nice.
