Last Sunday I stopped by here because of the power outage in the downtown Silver Spring area. This was definitely not my first choice... hell... It wasn't even on the list but everything else was either jammed or closed! every Pollo a la Brasa shop in the Wheaton area was opened but limited on power.... "Limited?" ... Yes... in the strip mall where they are located your ears were numbed by the sound of back up generators! Even if you walked into one of these places, you would melt the second you crossed the threshold! On to the mall! Crispy and juicy!!! Right?!?! Wrong..... Closed. I realized that it was only 10:30 AM... I walked into the mall and looked around...There was not an empty wall outlet anywhere! Kids were sitting on the floors talking it up while they waited for the cells to recharge. There was not an empty seat in the food court! I'm not joking... Maybe 200 seats and they were all full! We headed out of the food court area and to the doors again.. We were defeated... At the door leading to the garage was a last shot... Ruby Tuesday. What the heck! The first thing that I noticed was no cold air and a salad bar. They had power so I stayed. I ordered a piece of salmon (medium rare) topped with a spinach and artichoke sauce, which was actually the spinach and artichoke dip, rice pilaf and a trip to the salad bar. Im a freak and everyone that i have ever eaten with knows that I gotta have my tomatoes on my salad. I look at the salad bar and they put out all of the usual suspect, field greens, iceberg and I think spinach. Eggs, broccoli, cheese and blah, blah, blah.... NO TOMATOES!!! I turned around and looked for somebody to right this major wrong. I saw a front desk person and explained that there has been a terrible mistake someone for got to bring out MY tomatoes! Maybe I was on an episode of MTV's Boiling Point (Is that still on?) the young lady told me that they were extremely busy the night before and were completely out of tomatoes! COMPLETELY OUT OF TOMATOES!! I looked at my salad plate and contemplated plucking off the items. I sucked it up and returned to the bar with my plate of stuff... I can't call that a salad without the tomatoes.... A few more people arrive at the bar and start to order food. Burgers and stuff.. Stuff with tomatoes... I thought to my self that that is going to suck... Wait until that sucker gets his food and he doesn't have any tomatoes! Ha! Jokes on me... BAM! Tomatoes! I run to the salad bar for tomatoes! Yay! No... Still no tomatoes! I think it was the improper verbage of the front desk person. My guess is that they were out of cherry tomatoes and probably under staffed and did not have the time to cut tomatoes by hand. My salmon arrived...... Completely cooked .... WELL DONE... I talked to the bartender and she sends over a manager. He did explain the cooking apparatus in the back and I was ok with that. It was a conveyor styled oven... I ordered a steak instead.Medium Rare..... Cooked to perfection..... Hmmmm... It did have grill marks but the salmon did not. Why didn't they just put the fish on the grill ? The saving grace was the $5 Absolut vodka drink specials!

Ok, so I have been going to Ruby Tuesday's since my early high school days. While the overall menu, look and concept has improved greatly - this specific location is awful when it comes to food. The service here is usually pretty good, but the food is never accurate or well prepared. It's either cold, incorrect, or just plain not good. The strawberry lemonades are now just lemon juice and soda water with strawberry syrup. Disgusting. The little biscuits they give you, what is that about? It's too similar to Red Lobster's chedder biscuits, except these are just plain nasty. Super salty and really not good in flavor. The salad bar has also shrunk. Most of my favorite toppings have been removed. I have no reason to return at this point. Especially to this location - they just never can get it right.

No crowd and yet ten minutes to be greeted. Don't come in a hurry. Zero expediency. There were several waitstaff available and two managers and yet the hand full of tables that were in the restaurant were all being attended to slowly with wait staff quibbling over who was to wait on which table. The food was average Ruby Tuesday food - nothing exceptional - nothing terrible but you are not doing me a favor to wait on me in a quiet restaurant, mid afternoon on a Monday. The waitress indicated that she put garlic biscuits in the oven and they would be out in ten minutes and she would take our order then -- so I'm waiting on two tiny garlic biscuits to place my order? My tip was better than the waitress or the venue deserved.

I hate giving out one stars but sometimes you have too. Where do I start. We were greeted by a guy who seemed less than interested to be working. Then our waitress took our order. I ordered salad bar and burger. We went and got our salad and are finished it before our drinks came out. We thought for sure our dinner was going to come out before our dinner. Waitress was in the weeds and had no clue had to handle it. Finally we received our drinks but they were out of milk for the kids. Another 10 mind for the kids. Dinner came out and it was not great and not bad. We had to wait for a while for the bill and we had to track down the waitress to pay. It was a pretty comical experience.

Worst resturant experience ever!! Walked in got ignored by 2 hostess. It wasn't even busy and they had 4+ hostess on duty. Got scammed by their table ads.."if the server doesn't ask you about our fondu, then you get one free" Server did not mention, so we got our fondu from the manager, but WAS CHARGED AFTER! Not only did the server lied to my face and my girlfriend about mentioning to us she offered fondu, but the manager lied to us as well as saying he would comp. for the fondu. The manager did apologize for his dishonest, but still charged us. UNbelieveable! False advertisement, Scams, and dishonesty is all I have to say about this restaurant. The Manager was Charles Our Server Qunsha? (Some black server with curly hair) BEWARE!!

Do not come here for lunch during the week. The service is very slow. I had to ask for my soup, and more water. Not the mention the salad bar items look as though they were leftover from yesterday.

I had an extremely positive experience at this location last night. Our waiter was amazing. I ordered the salad bar and he tacked it onto another order at the table so that the total for the salad bar would only come to $2.99. The salad bar was well stocked and tasty; I loved the mango iced tea with real mango chunks. What I appreciated most was the prompt and very kind service though. This location really goes above and beyond.

will never go back to rubys again. Sitting for 10 minutes & still no one shows up. Have to tell the hostess & still wait for a waitress. Horrible service, food has been better from there.. So sad because rubys used to be a grey family place.

I always love Ruby Tuesday. I tried one of their new dishes, Black Fire NY Strip marinated in....well I guess the best word to describe it was, grease. Yes, the orangey colored grease at that. I took a chance on it any way. I couldn't make it through it all as my stomach gave me a forewarning early before I attempted to ingest another bite. I will stick with what I know and love, the New Orleans Seafood. Nice try RT but that dish is a fail. Service is always great.

This is your typical Ruby Tuesday. The salad bar is nice, the foods ok. The drinks are reasonably priced. If your in wheaton and looking for a place to sit down and eat i would recommend them. Otherwise maybe find another spot?

I went to this location tonight with a friend. WOW!!! Worst Ruby Tuesday's ever!!! When did this chain go down hill??? It's amazing that they raised the prices, lowered the portions and the quality just went down in general. My first complaint is the salad bar. I went through 12 plus plates and not a single one was clean. We had to show someone that they were dirty and then wait for a clean plate. Next complaint was my food. I ordered the petit sirloin with coconut shrimp and mashed potatos. The potatos looked like they had been sitting in a window for awhile. They had that wierd film that they get on them when they have been sitting out. The shrimp was mushy, so I didn't even touch them after one bite. The sirloin was so dry that I asked for steak sauce just to be able to swallow it. SUUUUUPPPER bummed!!! This used to be one of my fave places to go. In the words of another yelper, I will not be going to this particular Ruby Tuesdays ever again.

My blow-by-blow account of Ruby Tuesday in Wheaton, MD. I am writing this live while at the restaurant. I arrived about 45 minutes ago killing some time before a movie starts. I sat down at the bar and waited for "Kat" to finish up her conversation with her friends at the end of the bar before asking me if I wanted anything. After standing right in front of me for the last 5 minutes without even acknowledging me, what I really wanted was someone else to take my order, but I smiled and asked for a beer. Some time later another bartender, Tameka, asked me if I had been helped. I initially said yes, but then decided the other, less "aware" person might not have heard me, since she was standing talking with her friends again...and I didn't see any sign of the beer I had ordered. Tameka turns to Kat to ask about the beer order and I overhear her say, "I'm getting it", to which the other replies, "So you're getting that NOW or later". LOL! Ok so the food is about what you would expect if you have ever been into a Ruby Tuesday and I've been in a bunch of them so I can tell you, it's consistently good, but service consistently...inconsistent! As I finish this up along with my really yummy Carolina Chicken Salad, I note that bartender number 2 has never acknowledged my presence, but I feel as though we are old friends after witnessing the 45 minute conversation with her friends who are seated next to me. She even did her impression of her "gay friend" (name removed). I'll save the description of that out of respect for the friend, but have some advice for (name removed)...find a better friend. I also have some advice for readers of this post...find a better restaurant. "Restaurant Row" at this mall consists of three restaurants, so you have two more to choose from. OH YEAH, bad bartender is going to Miami this weekend. I can't help but add that, since I've overheard it about 2,000 times in the last hour. I hope she goes to some really good places and learns what a real (money making) bartender is like. Look out MIAMI, "Kat" is coming to town!

New drink menu!!!...so far, so good is their new Skinny Pink Lemonade from their FIT&TRIM selections of drinks under 150 calories(although I'm sure the sugar content will make up for more than half of the "missing" calories), they've hit the mark. I plan on trying all of their FT selections, TODAY!!!...j/k, maybe not today, but I will, damn it!.. ...minus two for the dirty bar and the country music in the background that none of the employees are appreciating...lmao

The food here is okay- nothing great, nothing terrible. Just stay away from the veggie burger. The service, however, leaves much to be desired. I went in Thursday night with 3 others. My friend's little sister ordered a cherry Coke, or Coke with grenadine. The waitress brought us our drinks and said the cherry Coke would be a minute because they had to make it at the bar. Okay, cool. 25 minutes later we had a drink, only because my friend got up and got it herself. There were 2 people at the bar and the restaurant was MAYBE 1/3 full. 25 minutes to pour grenadine into a glass? I think not. The waitress got our order right, after we repeated everything several times and reminded her to get things she'd forgotten to bring out. Also would have been nice if she'd told the one who ordered steak that they didn't have steak sauce of any kind BEFORE she got her order.

Went to eat here last Sunday with my wife. We ordered their shrimp fondue which came with stale chips It was a decent appetizer. After we finished eating the fondue we waited about 30min for a burger medium. Which should only take about 7min to cook. The place wasn't even busy at all. When I finally got the burger it was past well done. The fries were soggy. Just overall terrible food. I will never go back here.

I have went to this particular Ruby Tuesday's a number of times and EVERY time the service has been LOUSY! I frequent here because it is close to home, but yesterday was enough. I got up and left after waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were there. Upon walking out there were 3 servers standing in the front discussing whose section we were sitting in. The restaurant was not busy at all and there was no excuse for someone not to wait on us. They definitely need new management! And, for what it's worth, I will not go back again. Such a waste!

"Meh. I've experienced better" is a perfect description for this Ruby Tuesday. It's totally blah. My companion said her steak had too much fat; mine was just average. We both took a look at the salad bar but declined even though it was included in our meals. I'm glad I had a coupon when I came here, otherwise I would have been sorely disappointed. Ruby Tuesday is alright once in a while but I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon.

For what I ate I was surprised believe me this chain american restaurants I hate them all, like applebees or tgi fridays they are just not my favorite, but yesterday I went here and had strawberry lemonade witch was delicious the best I ever have had....and free refills...it had pieces of strawberry it was just awesome ...the shrimp fondue dip with chips was good just needed a touch of salt, and then had mac and cheese with lobster is small and ok but the best part is that it comes with all u can eat salad bar with is good too. This place is not exceptional but among them this dishes were edible something that I haven't experienced before. So yeah 14.99 for mac and cheese with salad 3.49 for strawberry lemonade free refills its not cheap but ok priced for this mall , its the best choice cus oh man that food court sh...is just not for me. Just a tip be willing to wait for everything the service is slow waiters are nice but they will take their time. They made a mistake with my son's kid meal they told me they would fix it never did ;(. My review of course is comparing this to the other american restaurant don't get me wrong for what I spent I would have had better food else were but remember I was hungry at wheaton mall and this was one of the only so so choices I had ...is like the best from the blah restaurants

My biggest complaint is the service. Very slow even when the place is empty. Also, my ticket was wrong, and when i notified my server of the error, her response was "that's what the computer printed out. ". I then had to show the manager the price on the menu. He gave me a new ticket that still had the wrong price. Just paid it and left. Not worth anymore time or another visit.

I have gone to this restaurant several times and had poor service most times. The food is good and the salad bar is good and well stocked. If you happen to go during a busy period be prepared for an extended wait, even though there are empty tables. The restaurant needs new management.

It's been a long time since I last ate at a Ruby Tuesday, mainly because I can find places I like just as much for less money. But today I went back just for a change of pace. And honestly, I guess that other places have gone up in price so much in recent years that, by comparison, it didn't seem that overpriced. Still, I didn't want to spend $3 to add a salad bar, so this review does not address the salad bar quality at all, though it looks like (just as it was years ago) a relatively nice choice of stuff. What I did have was a dish of Cajun-style shrimp & grits (which, as they do it, has andouille sausage mixed in as well). They served some nice flavored bread to the side -- much like what I recall Red Lobster has, it is worth eating. With an iced tea, tax, and tip, it came to almost exactly $20, which if you read my recent review of Busboys and Poets was about what I paid for just a main dish (NO beverage, and no side order of bread!) at that place, so by comparison, Ruby Tuesday was a bargain. (One difference was, of course, that at Busboys I was paying 10% DC tax, but here only 6% Maryland tax -- which is not something the restaurant can control.) So my review of this restaurant is basically positive. Some people seem to have had problems with the servers' attitude; mine was just fine, so no complaints there. All in all, I was happy enough.

Never again.....unless I don't mind having anyone show up to take our order, then a manager show up to take our order, only to be told by the server who finally showed up that the manager doesn't know how to put in an order and she needs to take our order all over again. 45 minutes after being seated the food finally shows up and is nothing much to speak about. The service was at best slow and at worst acted like we weren't even sitting at the table. Refills on drinks, I don't think so. Plates to eat the appetizer, I don't think so. Food runners that damn near throw it on the table, check. Other staff available so your waitress can play with them instead of helping the table, check. Manager completely oblivious to the situation, check please!

Very nice restaurant! The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the location it's at. And it's under the bridges in the Wheaton Mall, which can be pretty sketchy. The restaurant had good customer service, they seemed to workout well for me. I bought the Smokehouse Burger here and what I like here is that it's $5 cheaper than the one in New York City. This restaurant I'd say is fairly good. I recommend it.

Just came from here and they were out off all chicken and ribs and the beer my husband wanted. The waiter kept coming back with " we don't have that" finally we couldn't take it and said we were leaving. The waiters response was "I don't blame you". On a positive note, they didn't charge us for the beverages we couldn't stay to enjoy.

THE WORST MANAGED FOOD ESTABLISHMENT EVER!!! Shame on Ruby Tuesdays for allowing so many atrocities to go on here. One word too sum up this experience......LOUSY!!! Went there to catch the Wizards-Hawks playoff game because I was in the area looking for a house. Hadn't been to a RT forever. Last time was years ago at the Rockville Pike location. All I wanted was to get some drinks and appetizer to go along with a Wizards win. Walked in around 6:45 and went straight to the bar. Was greeted almost immediately by the bartender. He greeted me and told me he would be right with, so I assumed he was busy. So I go use the restroom and come back and he seems to be quite busy. I also am in the restaurant business so for me everything was still normal. About 5 minutes passes and he asks me what I would like to drink. I tell him a Corona w/lime. Very polite young man and even tells me about the happy hour coronas that they have! I'm thinking cool, I'm gonna enjoy my night cuz the bartender is awesome. I start to look around the bar and I notice a couple of bar patrons are Wizards basketball fans as well. I hear some conversations about the game and it seems like everyone is getting excited about the game. The TV that is facing me is not on the channel that is broadcasting the game. I then ask the bartender to change the channel to the game and he says ok. He still is busy whipping out drinks for the general dining area as well as the bar. So I ask him a second time cuz the game is just about to start. He says ok again. I know he's still busy but I'm getting antsy cuz the game is about to start. A few minutes later he tells me that the remote control batteries are dead and that he would have to get a manager to change the channel. Ok, no problem......so I tell him I'm switching seats because I thought the game would be on another TV set at the bar. Not the case. I then sit next to another wizards fan and we both notice that the game is not on. We both let the bartender know and he makes a phone call to someone and then tells us that the manager will be there to fix this issue. We wait another 15 minutes before the "manager" gets to the bar area. Not to be mean, but she got here, I thought she was a mascot from Telemundo. No joke! The "manager" was wearing a green aloha shirt with green pants. That in itself told me this place is a dump. She then walks up to us (now there are more than 6 bar patrons waiting for the game to be turned on) with a scowl on her face and tells us "won't be any game tonight!" I'm like WHOA!!! So then i tell her that if "you wanted to, you could manually change the channels on the receiver w/o the remote". She looks at me like I'm a moron and walks away. We (bar patrons) turn to look at each other with utter disbelief. That's it! I want to settle up my tab and go! Everyone is now getting ready to leave until the bartender goes and climbs on top of a chair to get behind one of the televisions to try and change the channel. Operation FAIL! It was too hard to navigate and I don't blame the poor guy at all. On a night like this, the managers job is to expect a crowd to come and watch the game. Especially being in the heart of the DMV area! This pathetic excuse of a manager was willing to let customers (hello, money!!!) walk out out just because she didn't "feel" like doing her job. Lazy, irresponsible, unprofessional, and a lousy, nonchalant attitude towards her customers. That's what you will get here in turn for spending your hard earned money here. Anyways, getting back to the whole ordeal. So the guy that was sitting next me, I come to find out that he is a regular here and the only reason he comes is because of the bartender, which I can completely understand seeing as how cool the bartender was. So there is now a crowd getting ready to leave and then my new found buddy makes a great gesture by volunteering to go buy batteries for the remote. He asks me not to leave so I complied. While he is out buying the AA batteries required to operate the remote, I step out for a smoke break. Gee, guess who is outside talking on her cell phone while all of this was going on? You probably guessed correctly! Mrs. Telemundo! I go back inside a now almost empty restaurant ( time is now 7:45 in the pm) and my buddy just comes back from wherever with the batteries. Now all the bar customers are striking up a conversation about how awful and poor the management is here. We all agreed that the bartender did a heck of job under these circumstances. No bar back, no food runner, no busser and certainly no manager to help....I'd say he did a great job! I take a look around at the other employees and noticed a lot of unhappy faces and sensed negativity amongst the staff. Maybe that's why the dining area is now empty at 8:00 in the pm. Hey at least the game is on now! Halftime hits and I gotta take another smoke break. This time my battery buddy comes with me and guess, just take a wild guess who

Went on a Tuesday evening...,.the place looked a little dead but I thought great it will be fast service! RIGHT!!! We waited over 20 minutes for the hostess to at least appear. Waiters and waitresses kept walking by, no one said anything. People waiting behind us got aggravated and left. When the hostess finally appeared she took her good old time tying balloons at the front and fumbling with menues. At this point we felt this is not a good sign. Needless to say the manager is to blame.... How can you allow such work ethics? Or maybe he's the same. Visit Ruby Tuesday in Rockville. They will appreciate you as a patron No stars for you Wheaton Westfield, you suck!!!

If you are the least bit hungry and wish for ! I mean "Deserve " Good service and a " hot and tasty meal"! Then Do Not, I repeat Do Not Come Here! From the Weave wearing ,5'2" Strumpet at front, who won't listen after sucking her teeth.(Really Dis-Like Rude Little Wanna Be's). Don't be fooled , really open your eyes! The place is half empty for a reason! The only , the only saving grace was Mark , my most excellent server. But when s steak is served cool/ tepid and sour tasting unappealing shrimp and wilted lettuce on the salad bar...geez, Louise what's a Foodie to do. Take up arms & bash the crap out of this place!! The plates at the salad bar were even filthy. Management is either is absolutely Ignorant of the situation or just don't get a SH*+!

Can I give this place zero stars? STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! After we finally got sat, we waited 15 minutes for our server to arrive and another 10 minutes for our drinks! The food is a joke and so is the service. Please, save your money.

Please, for the love of god, avoid this location. We were seated at a booth and noticed right away that the tables across from us were piled high with dirty dishes. It wasn't very crowded, but I figured maybe they were down a few staff members. I may have been right, since the hostess came around to clear the tables after about 15 minutes. My fiance got the salad bar with his entree and when he came back, he remarked that the floor in front of the salad bar "was as sticky as the floor at 7-11 on Free Slurpee Day". We should have left right then, but neither of us are big on confrontation and we'd already put in our orders. The food was average once it arrived. Nothing special, but not bad. The kitchen forgot one of my two sides and the server was visibly irritated when I pointed it out. I didn't feel like she was irritated with me, though. It was more like irritation solidarity. After we finished and were waiting for our check, a roach about 3/4 of an inch long casually moseyed across our table. Someone must have sounded a roaches-on-deck alarm, because at the same time my fiance was smashing the thing, the people across from us spotted and killed one at their table. They discreetly asked for their check and scooted out of there and man, do I envy them. This place is dirty and gross. Barf, barf, barf.

I now understand why the Ruby Tuesday in Silver Spring CLOSED, it's the same reason that this store needs to be closed. The food was undercooked, bland as if it wasn't seasoned, we were WAY over-charged for drinks and food that was sub-par at best, and when we ask for our waiter we were blown off by the waiter, the other waiter that was supposed to help us, and then when we asked to see a manager and were told "there ain't no manager here". If you want to go out to eat r feel as though you have to, PLEASE go any where but here, Wendy's, pop-eye's, Friday's even a Chinese take-out would be better than this sorry excuse of a "restaurant"! Sincerely yours, Can'i.

Bria our waitresses was simply AWFUL! Not friendly. We asked if they stopped serving biscuits and her response was "you want some?" Well Bria what made you think i didn't want any? Why didnt you offer? We needed to ask for a refill on drinks because Bria wasn't paying attention to out table. She also didnt bother to ask if we wanted to order desert she was more concern about giving us the check. The service her with others have always been great. Today im not sure what happened. Shrimp Fondue fried shrimp and salad baw was delicious.

I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant with such poor customer service it took us forever to be seated and forever again to get our order taken, and it wasn't even busy. We went through our appetizer before we even got our drinks, and I ordered a water and my husband ordered a beer! The salad bar's vegetables looked like they've been sitting out there the entire day and the plates were dirty. Turns out the food gave me food poisoning. Never going there again, and did I mention the waitress took a whole 1 hour to get our check? And she only had one other table to wait. Just awful.

Seriously, like no exaggeration, this place will never fail at having the worst service. My family has given this location so many chances and they always disappoint. We come in, get seated, and don't see the waiter for 15 min at the minimum. I just can't believe how they offer the same consistent bad service each time. It's incredible. Through out the dinner we have to actively search for the waiter. He/she will either be helping others or completely disappear. Well the salad bar is good. Oh well.

HORRIBLE! First no one was at the hostess station 7mins later one appears and doesn't greet the line that has now formed. We get seated ... Waitress seemed frustrated and and was short... Among many issues the biggest was we had two orders and I asked for butter on the side for my lobster... Presentation was unappetizing and no butter ( but the table across from us had completely different presentation than mine with a side of butter -_-) and second order got "LOST!" And after asking they came to us and said they ran out of chicken tenders then oops they have some and will remake the order. When I spoke to the manager they didn't do anything for us so we paid for the single order and left. Had to go else where to finish our dinner plans.... SOO Disappointing... Never going back!!

Yes, it's a chain, but a recharge from shopping with salad bar seemed in order. Cordial service, crisp salad (excuse me Garden) bar. Gumbo had a nice kick (although a real Cajun would have been reaching for the Tabasco), al dente okra, generous amounts of proteins. Shrimp were not overcooked, chicken was. Sausage tasted more like kielbasa than andouille. Nevertheless, a tasty, cheap, reasonably healthy quick supper and a solid four stars.

It's a Ruby Tuesday. It's a commercial chain that doesn't really change despite going to a different location. The food is fine but definitely not great. I think for the food that you're getting you're paying a little too much. This isn't really fine dining and I think the prices should reflect that. Service really depends. I had a good waitress but not every does. This place is convenient for all you mall-goers.

Where to begin... After waiting what seemed like a good while, the waitress totally forgot my second (alcoholic) drink which she wrote down, but instead brought me a refill of the first mango tea I ordered. My husband had also been completely out of his drink before she asked if he wanted another refill. After our order was put in, we found out that they were out of salmon, so I ordered something else. Not a big deal. We ordered dessert, which never seemed to come. After waiting some time and getting anxious, I looked at the clock. After twenty more minutes of waiting we decided that we would rather just leave. My husband asked for the check. She forgot about us again! He had to flag the waitress down a second time after waiting for about fifteen minutes. When she finally decided to give us our check, the dessert was indeed included. She then delivered the dessert...after the check! This was after waiting probably a total of 40 plus minutes for dessert/check. I politely said we just thought she may have forgotten ( hey she forgot my drink) and we just wanted to go. Then we got to wait for her to get the manager to get it taken off. yay...more waiting around! At this point, I just felt bad for her...she was REALLY failing at her job that day.:( I worked at a Ruby Tuesdays for a bit after college, and I know that I was definitely not the best server, but I don't think I've ever had a day quite this bad. I can understand occasionally forgetting a drink, when the restaurant runs out of something, or heck even the kitchen crashing. What really killed it for me was that the dessert took FOREVER, then she had the nerve to try to still make the sale. Back in the day, the waitress could have easily put together the dessert for guests if the kitchen was crashing. The desserts are pre-made and most just need to be heated. I'm not sure what the situation is now, or if the kitchen was even crashing. It seems likely that she just forgot about us....over and over again. Because of her issues, she ended up loosing out on making a sale for a dessert and an alcoholic drink, plus she wasn't able to turn the table over quickly. If you've ever waited tables you know this, along with great service is essential to making decent tips. CRASH AND BURN:(

See I love going out to places to eat, no matter what restaurant it is I have been there, I don't usually write reviews but this is called for, I ordered a n.y strip steak with a side of rice and mushrooms, I ordered appetizers as well and they brought out the entrees before the appetizers, I sent it back to the kitchen and enjoyed my appetizers ( sort of) they brought my entree back and the mushrooms were burnt and the rice was undercooked, I ordered a large Long Island ice tea and got a regular one, I ordered lobster tails and the chef forgot to put it on there, I chose this place because it's literally 5 minutes away but next time I am hungry I will travel 2 hours instead of going through this again, oh and I'm still waiting for the waitress after 15 minutes of waiting for me to tell her about my lobster tails, which by the way are the size of a chicken nugget from mc Donald's, I think I'll eat there next time instead, I am a chef and this place is a disgrace...

Ok I'm not a big complainer, and I love Ruby Tuesdays... But this particular location was ok... Wasn't a big fan... Rice was over cooked, and my wife's meal wasn't that well prepared... It looked as if it was microwaved... The server, while nice, kept hiding in the back... Umm I hope it was a fluke

I will never set foot in this place ever again as long as I am alive. This place has the WORST service I have ever witnessed from a chain restaurant. We walk in, takes about three minutes to seat us, before they realize "oh there's actually a line, maybe I should come and seat these people". Anyways we get seated and it literally takes us ten minutes for the waiter to come by. Mind you, it was NOT busy at all and seriously, I started a timer because they were taking forever to come and help us. We order because at this rate, we knew we were not going to see the waiter again. So ordered, got chicken pasta and steak and we do not see our waiter for the entire duration of the email. Not once, nope, nadda, zippy, none. Finally he shows up with the check after we flagged another waitress down. And again, he doesn't come and take our check. Finally we got fed up we just found another waitress to take our money and we gave him a nice $1 tip. I never have given someone that low amount of tip before but this service was horrible. We could have literally just walked out of the restaurant without paying and he probably would have never realized it until 30 minutes later. But come on, it's a CHAIN restaurant, you should at least have some better customer service. NEVER come here again. If you want slow service, blah food, then by all means come here. But I am staying away.

No bueno! Hope you like to wait for your food, fix your order and get the pickles you asked NOT TO HAVE. and if you go there on a weekend there is one waiter for the whole bar. No thanks...

Yum and inexpensive! Yet service is sometimes slow probably due to new employees all the time

Worst experience ever! We went on a Friday night after the mall closed at around 10:30 pm.The only way to enter was through The side door door where there is no host/hostess, and walk around the salad bar to the 'front'. When we arrived, there were two other people waiting; one woman needed to pay her check and the other was just there. For several minutes no one came to help us, yet there were servers walking and the bar was not busy. The host finally arrived, and told the woman waiting for her check that he couldn't help her, and she had to wait for someone else...I don't know who was going to help her because no one seemed to care what was going on. The dining area and bar were relatively empty, yet the host insisted on seating us at a table in the main walkway of the restaurant. I asked twice to be seated somewhere else, and he said there was no where else we could sit, because it was time to close; keep in mind they are open until midnight or 1 am. After everything that happened I was ready to leave, but my husband interjected and informed the server of the time. When we were finally seated somewhere appropriate, our waitress who was very nice came out promptly and took our drink orders. I don't remember her name, but she was very pleasant and took the time to talk to us. As we reviewed the menu, the couple behind us (not teens or in their twenties) commenced their evening activities of licking each other's necks and making out as if they were in their bedroom. Already 20 minutes into our visit, and I yet to see any manager of supervisor of any kind. When we finally received our drinks from the bar that was not busy, my husband noticed his glass was chipped. That should've been our cue to leave, however we asked for another set of drinks, ordered our food and continued our evening. When our new drinks arrived, there was a red splotch on my husband's glass that looked like human tissue in his drink. At this point we had to leave. We asked the host for our waitress, and he proceeded to go clean tables and play around with a waiter without making an effort to ask if everything was ok or find our waitress. My husband went to the bar to cancel the food order and found the waitress to explain what happened. Magically as we were leaving, a manager showed up to apologize! Needless to say, Ruby Tuesday has made an impression.

I usually come here with my mom; she likes Ruby Tuesday as it seems to be the least saltiest out of comparable chain restaurants (TGI Friday's, Red Lobster, Longhorn and Outback Steakhouse) and thinks it's the best. I effing love their pomegranate tea; it used to be called the Ruby T but I guess the name changed or whatever, on the most recent occasion my server misunderstood me and brought out a "Ruby Palmer"(?) (like an Arnold Palmer, I guess) - d'oh! My mom took that and I waited for my tea. Note on the servers - they all seem pretty young and as if they're novices - service can be a little slow sometimes. The same goes for the host, if they're even at the front - usually they come out from way in the back somewhere. We usually come as soon as they open or shortly after so as to avoid any crowds. I can't really judge the menu, since it's not specific to just this location, but I've always liked their fries and they've come out satisfactorily every time. The rice is definitely seasoned lightly, and I've never left feeling like I've poured a salt shaker in my mouth. My favorite is the barbecue salmon (formerly Asian-glazed salmon or something like that) - the portion is huge and so worth it. I've never tried the salad bar, mostly because I don't like getting up and getting food in front of others, so I can't vouch for that.

Today my Daughter, two granddaughters and I went to Ruby Tuesdays for lunch. My DD cut her finger on a raw edge of the menu, asked for a band aid, was assured she would get one, never did. Next the waitress was asked for ketchup..never got it..asked twice. My soup came and was nice and hot, but over salted, ate half. Picked up the fish taco to take a bite and it was frigid cold as if it had been served right out of the refrigerator, and never been heated. They took it back to heat, I waited a half hour, and got it back..just as cold. Once I can understand, twice, no. They were kind enough to take it off the bill. Then went to the restroom. No toilet paper...and no more Ruby Tuesdays

(3)John And Mindy S.
This is your typical Ruby Tuesday. The salad bar is nice, the foods ok. The drinks are reasonably priced. If your in wheaton and looking for a place to sit down and eat i would recommend them. Otherwise maybe find another spot?
(3)Maggie G.

(2)Monique M.
(3)Jenn C.

(1)Susan W.
(1)Gregory O.

(3)Ron J.
(1)Walt C.
I have gone to this restaurant several times and had poor service most times. The food is good and the salad bar is good and well stocked. If you happen to go during a busy period be prepared for an extended wait, even though there are empty tables. The restaurant needs new management.
(2)Deb C.
Ruby Tuesdays: love the menu (especially all the great vegetable sides), but this location reached a whole new low on service. I won't be coming back here again.
(1)Jackie M.
Never Visit this place its infested with roaches and mice!!! i went there with my family for my daughters birthday, but not again EVER the managers are even rude and nasty....save your money or eat a roach burger
(1)Bruce G.
(4)Josh M.
(1)Electric B.
(4)Tricia S.

We came, we sat, we waited. And waited. And waited. No waiter, no drink menu, no attention given to us whatsoever. We finally just left. Will never return.
