Food was good but service was very poor, drinks took way too long to be refilled. The check had to be requested multiple times.

Well...been coming here since I can remember, before they turned all fancy. Just lately the staff is lacking in great customer service, my waitress actually rolled her eyes and sighed as they sat my table of three.I'm sure she had no clue I was looking but anyway just dont.they had four tables sat, not like they were busy.food was good as usual, we got the hotdogs, grAvy fries and french onion soup. We also had the mushroom cap appetizer which was very good but extremely over priced.Of course we will continue to eat here as its Westminster and where weve always have ate from time to time, im just hoping the staff gets alittle better in customer service and harry doesn't keep raising prices or we may have to take a break. Hope this reviewed helped.

I was underwhelmed. High cost. Sub par food. Had to wait 10 min just to see a hostess for a table and then took another 10 to be seated. And the place wasn't even full. Sorry - was much better when it was a greasy spoon.

Just finished my first and last meal here. If you want sauerkraut on your hotdog, it's $85. Not kidding- it's on their menu and it's not a misprint. At least if you're going to be arrogant by essentially not "allowing" it on the hot dogs in your establishment, at least train your waitstaff to come up with a better response than "I don't make the rules. If you want sauerkraut, order the Ruben." As for having "Baltimore's Best hotdogs" -I've had better hotdogs off the meat wagon at the Westminster Lowes and I'm not even kidding....and they only charge .25 for sauerkraut! Steer clear and go spend your money at any other place in town-this place is a joke.

Crab Benedict was amazing! The portions are small but seem like a healthy size. I've been coming here for years and like the breakfast food a lot. I miss the old mural before they renovated. Good service, clean restaurant, decent coffee and delicious food will keep be coming back for years to come.

Over-priced and overrated. Two small crocks of French onion soup and a plate of fresh from the freezer, tasteless, mostly breading chicken fingers were $25! Not worth it. Plus this place always look filthy. Wait staff is hit or miss. Don't know why I let people talk me into going here. No more.

My favorite place in Western MD. I now live in the Outer Banks but I grew up in the area. Whenever I come home for a visit I make it a point to come for lunch at least twice. While my experience is limited to 2 hot dogs with everything, a small fry with gravy on the side & a coke, I'm never disappointed. The service is ok but I come for the hot dogs and it's worth it every time.

I wish it would go back to the old place. The dogs are cheap greasy meat tubes. What happened to the Kunzlers. Now I got to drive to hanover to texas weiner or Famous Hot weiner, when I get the itch for a chili dog covered in onions with gravy fries.

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever had, even from 3rd world countries. Food was 'fair' at best. And only one glass was allowed of any beverage as the waitresses never allowed themselves to interact with patrons after initial seating. Having looked around and studiously watching, this was common to all the tables, not just ours. Being a Westminster native, it may seem strange that growing up my parents never treated us to the abuse and utter disregard of Harry's. I believe that now I understand. The best that could be said is that the table WAS clean and not sticky at all. Although this may have to do with several tables patrons, including the ones seated at our table prior, got up and left without ordering. Will NOT return, or allow any decendants to visit.

We went there on a night where they had the parade in town. The restaurant didn't seem to be ready to handle the crowds. They ran short on menus. They also had an issue with the ladies room sink, my daughter scalded her hand on the cold setting, and did not get so much as an apology from management. Service was subpar, but the waitress was friendly. The Mrs and I got burgers , which were VERY good. Our friend got a the famous hot dog. It was good, except for the hard roll. Kids menu was a little pricey, but the portions were good. Might want to lower the prices a little and give smaller portions, our kids couldn't finish it. I would go back based on the food.

Good comfort food. If you are in the mood for all-American, comfort food, this is the place to come. The service is quick...the menu has a little of everything...and it's been around long enough to be a true Westminster landmark. Of course they have changed over the years, from just selling hot dogs to offering more of a "regular" menu, but it's still the "go-to" place when you want hamburgers, hotdogs or a great bowl of veggie soup!

Harry's is a classic American grill type place that's a decent spot for lunch but that's about it. I've only been a few times and I feel the value is pretty poor. Their food (I've only had hot dogs and sandwiches) is about average but they tend to be on the expensive side. I know a few people have complained about service on here but I can't say the same. I wouldn't really say it was outstanding nor would I say it was bad. Their big thing is supposed to be their hot dogs. If that's what they hang their hat on, I think its only because the rest of the food is that mediocre. They were better than your average spot but I would never direct someone there who was craving a good hot dog. It's more of a "I want a hot dog and it's decent and close" type place. The thing that kills me is that they do not allow sauerkraut on their hot dogs. This appears to be a philosophical choice as it is listed on the menu with an add on price of $1,000 or some other ridiculous number. It's not that they don't carry sauerkraut either as they have reubens on the menu, which needs it. They apparently just feel as if sauerkraut will sully their highly acclaimed under flavored wiener. Well you can keep it...you want a better dog, take a trip a town over and go to Hampstead Diner.

I don't always get to eat off campus, but when I have family in town, Harry's is one of my favorite places to take them! The menu has a wide variety of tasty American comfort food from Maryland soups to sandwiches to hot entrees. Everything is reasonably priced, even for a college student's budget. (And the McDaniel crowd should know that being on Main Street, Harry's is easily within walking distance from campus.) The service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is cozy and sporty. I highly recommend!

There's a lot of history here from the Colts, but I would skip this one. Horrible meal. Crabcakes were too salty and used sub-par crab meat, Chicken Chesapeake was a fried chicken filet with tasteless imperial on top. Rice on the side was bland and would have been better if had come out of a box (even though it probably did). Vegetables were undercooked, and therefore could have used some dip. I realize that Harry's is better known for its hot dogs, so if you want to try those, be my guest. However, I can guarantee that anything else on the menu is really, really bad.

We had heard good think about Harry's but we did not have a good experience. The food was not very good and it was not very cheap. We also found the hostess to be very rude and we were made to wait for an open table when the place was only a quarter full.

Used to be a good local place, but it's really gone downhill. They were a good hot dog and rib place, and the waitresses had a down home smile and were awesome. Once they expanded the restaurant they tried to become a high end restaurant. It never worked. The "high end" meals cost more than they were worth, so the high end crowd doesn't come. The original waitresses left and the new wait staff believes it was a high end place and treat the old customers (the ones who liked hot dogs and ribs) as if they are hillbillies who are wasting their time (a 15% gratuity on a hot dog isn't worth their time apparently) so the hot dog crowd has stopped coming. It's a restaurant that doesn't know what it wants to be. The worst part is the lack of service. The current manager is very nice, but the wait staff for years has had a chip on their shoulders. It's a shame this once nice local restaurant has fallen so far. Unless the wait staff changes their attitude, I would avoid this restaurant.
