We were welcomed promptly & warmly by Megan. The restaurant has easy access & parking. The space is clean & comfortable booths & tables & has awesome classic music playing. It is well lit & has good windows. Will helped us at our table. He has a relaxed & professional manner about him. He is very polite, patient and very attentive to the customers needs. The food was served quickly and was exactly as ordered & was hot & delicious. He checked on the table like 8 times. The bill came quickly too & at the appropriate time. Costs are fair too. The Santa fe breakfast was awesome. The hamburger was lacking kind of rubbery. We've been to Denny's in Westminister many times & this was an excellent meal & excellent service experience!!! Love Batman & Robin

Food was cold, coffee was cold. My daughter ordered the blueberry pancake meal, and her pancakes tasted like fish. They were disgusting. The eggs were soggy, overly greasy and cold. But, honestly, I could handle that better than the dishes. The dishes.... Ugh, the dishes were so dirty. There was dried food on all of our silverware, my cup had a lipstick mark! I don't wear lipstick! :(. There was dried oatmeal inside my coffee cup. It was bad. However, our waitress was Bonnie, and she was as sweet as could be. She was working so hard and she is the only reason I didn't complain about the food and disgusting dishes. I just wanted to get out of there and never come back. Ever.

Denny's is the only 24 hour restaurant in Westminster, it's a good place to go with friends after work or by yourself for some "me-time." I was pleasantly surprised by how many vegetarian options are available on the menu. Egg white omelets and skillets, and even a build your own veggie burger option! I got a veggie burger with their bourbon sauce and it was very good! I went there on 3/14/15 at about 8:30pm. My server, Hannah T, was excellent. In fact, she seemed to be the only one doing anything. There were three employees just sitting at a booth talking (they were on their break as Hannah informed me), meanwhile Hannah was serving customers, seating customers, ringing out orders on the cash register, answering the phone, running food, cleaning dirty tables, all by herself (there was another server but she only seemed to be tending to one table and would sit down with the others the rest of the time, I think she was on a break too). And all the while Hannah did everything with a bright smile on her face. This place seems kind of divey inside but I recommend going here for a pleasant surprise!

11/11/2014 We were seated quickly, but the waitress seemed to go on break between each visit to the table. Although we were absolutely insistent upon our hash browns and bacon being extra crispy, out of the three orders we received, 2 were cooked normally and 1 was a sprinkle of virtually raw potatoes. One of the orders of scrambled eggs was so overly salted that it was inedible, (some of the salt even landed on the toast and even with jam, the salt was overwhelming.) The facility is not clean (that should have been my first clue): the floors are really bad (don't look down!) and the tables, seats, and menus are very sticky. The staff seemed to be there for social hour, rather than on duty, although our waitress did pick up the pace a bit before we left. Going there on Veteran's Day? Not so fast, buckaroos! Although this location offered a free meal to Veteran's on Veteran's Day, they only mean until noon...and it's not lunch items, it's not breakfast items. It's only the Grand Slam. After 12, forget it :) There are a plethora of other restaurants that offer Veteran's a meal today. :)

We're big fans of breakfast for dinner and were passing through Westminster tonight so went here because, well, breakfast for dinner. After we ordered we checked in on Yelp and saw the dire reviews and started to worry. But we had a totally different experience from the other reviewers. The restaurant was clean and quiet, the staff attentive, clean, pleasant and professional. It did take a few minutes for our server to get our food order, but she apologized for that and for the fact that it took a few minutes more for our decaf coffee because she made a fresh pot. It was worth the wait. We had good coffee with frequent refills, good food and lots of it and an overall enjoyable meal. We'll definitely stop in again the next time we're in Westminster.

Waited about ten minutes to have a hostess talk to us. Meanwhile we had fun watching the drunk or high man struggle to figure out what money was. Finally the new head manager walked over, walked past us and talked to a huge group of elderly people. Then proceeded to ignore us again and walked away. Waited for another five minutes for any recognition or anything and eventually left. Caught a couple walking in and told them about the manager ignoring us for an absurd amount of time. They turned around as well.

Came in for breakfast and the wait was long with plenty of open seats. Once seated the waitress took about 15 min before she took our order. We didn't have water or anything till about 25 min after seatjbg. Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy at all. Not happy at all with the service will not be returning.

Two of us happened to give this Denny's a try one evening. We were looking for something close and fast. Our food was good, although a bit on the greasy side, and our server was very friendly. We always had a full drink and she checked up on us often. Also, the prices here are very reasonable. For two of us, we paid $22 total for dinner.

I had the misfortune of visiting this particular Denny's on a friend's whim some time a few months back. While I realized I was indeed walking into a Denny's, I had no idea of the horrors that awaited. The air was heavy with the scent of grease and burnt toast as we entered the unattended foyer. Standing at the hostess stand, we could see the two servers on duty frantically running about as an older, unkempt woman approached us. "Four?" The one word greeting was enough for her as she proceeded to accost us to a table. She set our menus down and said our server would be right with us. As someone that has worked as a server in the past, my heart panged for the poor young man that was chain greeting the tables the woman was seating. After greeting several tables before us, he offered us a smile and asked if he could get us started with something to drink. He was heavily perspiring but never faltered in professional etiquette, despite the fact he was obviously in a hurry. The woman that had seated us had forgotten to give us any silverware, so we did ask if he could bring that along with our drinks. A few minutes later, the filthy woman that had seated us reappeared with three rolls of silverware. Without saying a word, she dumped them on our table and hurried off. My friend tried to catch her to tell her we needed four, but she ignored him and hobbled away. Our server returned to the table with our drinks as other tables were waving him over, so we had to wait to place our order. Finally he returned to us, and another table, impatient of the wait, walked out on him. You could tell he was trying to keep his voice and composure steady as he quickly ran our order to the kitchen and then onward to the next table that had been sat. Since we had time, I sat and counted how many tables he was attending. My first count was 8 and then the crude woman from the front sat him again. Nine. Nine tables. That's absurd. I felt awful for the young man but at the same time, my own stomach was starting to growl. My party began to make note of the slow service and the lack of staffing, when we heard the woman from the front berating our server for the table that had walked out. Grimacing, she came over and cleared that table. After she was done however, she proceeded to clear another table's food that had just gotten up to go to the bathroom. The server rushed over to tell her her mistake. It was at that point, that she took the half eaten food out of the bus tub, brimming with other dirty dishes, and set it back on the table for the couple in the loo. My friend looked horror stricken, especially when the couple returned and proceeded to finish eating their food that had unbeknownst to them, taken a happy little trip to the bus tub. Our food took a good 40 minutes to arrive, but considering the lack of staffing, we sort of anticipated it. Not wanting to bother our server for refills, or anything more, we hurried through our meals and got ready to leave. When our bill arrived, my friend asked what kind of tip we should leave for such an experience. We all agreed the server wasn't at fault in this instance, though my friend did think it was someone's duty to inform a manager. Now I'm not the type of person who likes to complain or pull manager out and cause a scene. I find ruckus like that more pain than it's worth, though my friend was insistent about doing the right thing. The grizzly woman that had accompanied us through the many highlights of our meal stomped over to ask if we were ready to pay. As we paid, my friend said he needed to speak to a manager. She asked what we needed to speak to a manager about. In response, he said that was between him and the manager. That was when she revealed SHE was the manager. My friend demanded to speak to another manager. She declared there was no other manager. Assuring her he would be letting corporate know about this online, we departed. I'm not sure what prompted me to tell this tale, but hopefully it does some good for whomever is out there reading it. Be it someone in the position to make this place a better place or to serve as warning to other patrons in the Westminster area to seek breakfast elsewhere.

My cousin and I stopped at Denny's in Westminster md yesterday for an early dinner. First let me say.. No matter how hungry you are, DONOT eat here. We waited about 15 minutes after being seated for someone to get us a drink; then only my cousins coffee came and my coke never arrived and the waiter was MIA! When the waiter finally came back, he stood at our table with his order pad and never said a word. We finally ordered the nachos as an appetizer and I got the chicken breast with fries and gravy. When the nachos came out, we started to laugh because we truly thought we were being "punked". It was tortilla chips, some melted white cheese thT had a film on it like it wasn't stirred and just plopped in the middle of the chips and some nasty looking ground beef (again plopped in the middle). Nothing else was on the nachos.. We then asked, "doesn't this come with more toppings like lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, jalapeños? He said "lemme check". We waited a good 10 more minutes ( and we were only one of 4 tables in the restaurant. He came back with a bowl of diced tomatoes and walked away. My cousin spoke up and said this is it? The waiter replied he would be back. Then he brought a bowl of salsa. I then asked can I have some jalapeños please? He brought 2 gigantic bowls ( my guess is to be a smart ass) by te time we actually got the few fixings for the nachos they were cold and soggy. Then our entree came. My cousins quesadilla was ok he said but cold and my chicken had no color; almost like it had been boiled and the fries and gravy, well the gravy was cold and it got that slimmy look and lumpy and it was maybe a tablespoon on the fries. I asked for more gravy an please make sure it's hot. The chicken was so nasty, my 6 year old grand daughter could have done a better job and it had absolutely no taste; no seasoning; no salt or pepper. I was amazed that they were able to literally serve me something that tasted like nothing. All awhile I'm waiting for gravy which came out 10 minutes after entree and was cold. We then pushed out plate aside, got our bill and walked to front. There was a young light haired short hair man ( no name) who gave impression of manager. I commented on the service and food, going back to that chicken. He told me it's not boiled it's grilled! I said I raised 5 children and have cooked almost every night of my life and I know boiled chicken. He said its Denny's policy not to put seasoning on anything. We won't be back!

If you are looking to eat at a Denny's in the area, go 20 minutes away to the Eldersburg / Sykesville location. The Denny's in Westminster is mostly miss, rarely hit. The last time I was there was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had in my life. This was mostly due to the place being understaffed and the incompetence of the management. The food was late, incorrect, and the manager acknowledged all the shortcomings and horror of our experience but acted as if comping us would mean some sort of defeat to his person. As if comping people was some sort of unheard of foreign practice to the industry. I don't want people to think this is a bad review because of how difficult it was to be comped. I'm writing this review with more than 10 visits to this Denny's, and I am just describing my last experience. I don't like asking to be comped either. I have probably eaten more than 1000 times at restaurants (if you saw me and my finances you would believe me), but I'm sure I can count on two hands how many times I've asked to be comped. This was one of them. The only reason this place didn't get only one star is because we have had a good experience once or twice, and the real issues are not the location and not every server or cook but I believe it is management. I believe either corporate or the franchise owner can't get good managers or the owner is that incompetent. The food is not usually that terrible, sometimes it is good, but it is kind of rare. I would take the time and go to the one in Eldersburg / Sykesville, or go somewhere else (don't go to the new IHOP down the road, that place is almost worse).
