Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is one of 2 restaurants that delivers to my home. The service was great but we didn't much care for the Kun Pow chicken or the fact that they don't offer a pork free egg roll. But for a quick meal the chicken and broccoli is great and so is the orange chicken .

Not the best, not the worst. There are definitely better places around. I tried them out today for lunch and got the orange chicken w/ fried rice. The orange chicken was okay, nothing special the fried rice wasn't good at all. Lunch special prices were reasonable. If I do try this place out again, I'll get white rice instead. =]

We eat here often. Prices are reasonable. Really like the hot and sour soup and the triple delight.

29 Sept 2012 7:26 PM Accessibility: Easy, Easy and Easy. Lots of room in the parking lot and easy to get in and out of the parking lot. It is in a shopping center and so you really can get to it in several different ways. So finding the place is pretty easy when you are in Walkersville, MD and in the mood for Chinese. I am not sure if you need reservations, but frankly it is a small place and the take out while we were there was incredible! While the dining room is nice and quiet, the kitchen as the evening went on was not so quiet. Again probably not used to getting a big group there. I was surprised how many people came by for take out! I would give it a 4 Stars for that. Atmosphere: This place is a lot smaller than it looks and probably why they do a great carry out service. Lots of mirrors when you go inside. They have half booth and half tables. If you were to get a really big crowd in there you would fill up the tables. We went there with the Walkersville LaCrosse High School Coach and his wife and family of 3 teenage boys. His wife is also my sister. :) This place has a nice American-Chinese feel. The tables are beautiful and printed in charming Chinese print. Overall I think you would be surprised about this nice little place in Walkersville, MD. I would definitely give it a 3-4 Stars. Customer Service: Casual place. I am sorry that I do not know our Waiters name. He either "really" as a young guy in America as he appeared to either not speak English well or just was a young untrained waiter. Had problems in making sure two hot teas, one sprite and five waters were filled and either were hot or cold. The hot stuff was cold. Disappointing we did have to ask twice for hot tea in the tea pot. I am not sure He understood, but we finally did get the hot tea after asking someone else. I am not sure they get much inside service as compared to the carry out. We did get the food HOT and all in the back helped bring it out. We also had frequent refills from there on and it was then we had wonderful service. So it really was just the first impression and so for that I have to give it a 3 overall. Menu - They brought the Best Sweet and Sour Drip ever along with the Sauce for the little chips that you would put into the soups. Really nice and what a great dip! Sweet with the hint of sour. Really great and a nice little treat to have while waiting for dinner! I do wish they would have had a larger bowl for seven people or at least two and then left during dinner. 4 stars. Soup: I had the Egg drop soup and I must admit this had a great "fresh" flavor. The Onions were very fresh and really good! They also give you LOTS of it surprisingly. Excellent! I had to make sure I ate it all! We watched as a carry out had a Huge container full of it! A definite 5 Stars!!!!! Entrees - As far as the Entrees - We all had different things. My husband and Sis with her husband had the Triple Delight - Steak, chicken and shrimp with broccoli and brown sauce, stiick rice. This was really good! The meats and seafood great flavor and the sauce had a great flavor. A definite 5 stars for this huge meal. I had the Beef with Broccoli. With the white sticky rice. I really enjoyed this. I think I was very surprised ow flavorful the Beef was. it was also surprisingly tender. I totaling with the other meals got a lot of food. Wonderful and very tasty. 5 stars for me! Question - Would I recommend this and would I return? If you want a great carry out Chinese - YES. Definitely this would be a wonderful quick meal to carry home on your way from work with plenty of different foods for everyone!! With wonderful prices to match. Today that is important! You will get your money's worth! The food here is the seller for this place! Not the interior or exterior, but the food. 5 Stars.

If you asked me six or seven years or so ago I would haven given this establishment four or five stars. For years we had only Hunan Delight on the south end of Walkersville, and it was very good until it changed hands. the food went down hill so it was a near G-dsend when Chna Wok opened. When China Wok opened, the prices were slightly higher than Hunan Delight, but it didn't matter becasue the food was so much better. Then a few years ago, I do not know if the ownership changed hands, or additives such as MSG really made that much of a difference or what, but the taste of the food dropped drastically. While still much better than Hunan Delight, I would much rather run in to town to hit any of the countless Chinese carry-out establishments or even a Panda Express. Again, it's not that their food is bad, or pf poor quality, but rather the competition is just a few notches up. The only real advantage I have for getting take out is the proximity to the house being less than two minutes away. My last lunch was a few weeks ago, and I had the orange chicken lunch special. I found the portion to be typical of a lunch special, but again I found the flavor to be overly bland as it has been for the past few visits. The BBQ spare ribs seemed a bit fatty and small for the price. Overall, the food is acceptable, and is better than the nearby competition, but a few miles down the road to Frederick the bar has been raised.

My husband and I checked this place out last night. He wanted another place close to his work where he could order food for lunch from. I wish he would have ventured in on his own. This was the most disgusting chinese food I have ever had, not to mention overpriced. We couldn't even finish our meal. We ordered General Tso's, and I don't know what kind of meat was in it, but I can tell you it was NOT chicken. I've had every part of chicken cooked all kinds of different ways, and there is no way that this had anything to do with chicken. We couldn't even finish a couple of bites it was so gross - I was trying so hard not to gag on the last piece. I can't believe anyone is saying this place has "decent" food or great food. If you ask me, they are serving up some of the stray cats in the area. No exaggeration. Even the duck sauce tasted odd, and the fried cheese wontons hardly had anything in them. TERRIBLE.
