We stopped in Red Lobster for a quick bite to eat and to my surprise, we had a great experience. We came in around 7:30 and were seated immediately. We were greeted by a young man named Zaire who was very friendly and super nice. Great start to the evening. Our server, Alicia came over and greeted us right away. It was her first day on the floor and she was quite good. We ordered two drinks, I had the Bacardi Limon Strawberry Lemonade and the Guy ordered a Mango Strawberry Dacquiri. Both drinks were very good. We initially ordered the shrimp lettuce wraps, but they ran out of lettuce! LOL. We were offered another selection of appetizer, so we chose the sweet chili shrimp appetizer. It was very good. We then ordered our entrees which we were both very pleased with. Shrimp, pasta, chicken...how can you go wrong. The food was very good. I usually avoid Red Lobster because I am always let down by the food and the selections. However, I had such a good evening there, that we are thinking about going back. We had great service and the food was great!!

My family arrived at Red Lobster around 3pm EST and the place was not very busy. The host was a complete moron and spoke like he had a 2nd grade education. Not a very good first impression. We sat at our table for about 5 minutes before our server even talked to us. He returned about 3 minutes later for our drink order. We placed our order for food at that time. The salads showed up very quick but the dressing for my wife's salad didn't. The waiter came over after a few minutes, realized the mistake and said he would correct it. The dressing arrived 15 minutes later... with our meal. We asked for extra napkins because we have two children, he brought 2 and then dropped them on the floor. Never to bring more. Now let's move on to the food. Not only did it take over 30 minutes, it was OVERCOOKED and rubbery. The waiter never returned to our table except to bring us the bill and wanted us to fill out a survey. The staff there is horrible. We asked to speak to the manager and he wasn't there. Complete failure of the staff.

Came here yesterday after long time, and was pleasantly surprised! It was a Sunday night, so business seemed slow. We were greeted by warm and friendly staff, and our server was very cheerful and kind (you go Otmar!). The cheddar bay biscuits were delicious as usual and the salad was pretty good. The lobster and artichoke dip was absolutely delicious (we used the free appetizer coupon), and enough to feed a family of 6. I got snow crab legs, which were cooked and seasoned pretty well. Oh, and I recommend the peach Boston iced tea to go with your meal, it's very refreshing! Besides it being a little on the pricier end, we enjoyed it!

I was here on Wednesday, the 25th, the wait was stated at 45 minutes...only the restaurant was not that busy. Come to find out that a group was set up in here that was selling time shares to people. So during the height of Lobster Fest, the restaurant sold out half of their service to a company that was selling shady deals to people. Sorry, but this is not what I expect when I come to a national chain trying to rebuild their national reputation. Oh, by the way...we waited an hour for a table...and there was plenty of open seats.

This place is disappointing. Somehow a decaying lobster is belly up in the live catch tank??? I know this is a chain, but come on. Where's the manager? I was wondering if this would be served to some poor customer.

This is one of my favorite Red Lobsters to visit in my neighborhood. I prefer sitting at the bar and having a drink while having dinner. Good and friendly service.

I had a really good dinner tonight! Our server was Niko, who we have had as a server before. I have to say he is one of the best servers I've had at any restaurant, he's very polite and quick! & After letting him know that we were in a hurry, our order came out within minutes -- great quick service! The food was delicious, but I can't give 5 stars because part of the crab legs were dry and crumbly, which is unfortunate because that has happened every time we've been in the past 2 years. We usually ask for different set of crab legs, and then the next ones always come out fresh and hot (hmmm weird) but really didn't have the time today. The rest of the food was great, the service was amazing, and the biscuits of course were to die for! Just wish they would always have fresh crab legs!

This place is ALWAYS understaffed. In here for a Monday lunch and there are many tables that need to be cleaned AND there is a wait! There is always a wait even under normal crowd or no crowd conditions. I pray that they do better.

I was there on Tuesday night. It was great being able to walk right in and have a seat. Our waitress was on point and very attentive. The food was great and this location is very good service and food wise. This was my first time coming to this one because the weekends I try to go the line is outrageous. I was very happy with everything!

I had that darn craving for those addictive biscuits. And no, I'm not pregnant I just had to have them. I had them on the brain. So I could either slave in my kitchen and make them, or go to a random Red Lobster. I chose the latter even though I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants....[sigh]... Long story short? Biscuits were warm and insanely tasty. I had 4. Yes. You read correctly and that was not a typo. F.O.U.R. That is gross. But yummy. Our waiter was supersweet and attentive- ?Colby - and did not give me any snarky looks as I wolfed down my biscuits. I ordered the shrimp trio something or other. Bleh! even the shrimp scampi was disappointing. How does one mess up shrimp scampi?! And the shrimp alfredo? Not so good. I picked all the shrimp out and took the pasta home, LOL...My better half got the Fish and Chips and said the Fish was very good (and large size I must say) but the fries not so good. How does one mess up fries?! Someone get me another biscuit.

My husband and I ate here tonight for the "Endless Shrimp" special. The service was great. The hostess who sat us was nice, and our server Kierra was friendly and attentive. We never had to catch her attention or wait for service; our drinks were always full and we never had to wait to order our next round of shrimp or receive it. My husband even commented during the meal "she's really on point with these drinks." I only removed a star because I've eaten here on multiple occasions and have had meals that left something to be desired, typically over or undercooked vegetable sides or fish (such as tilapia) that seemed improperly cooked and would fall apart. The shellfish entrees have never let me down though!

Before this visit, I cant remember when was the last time I had visited a Red Lobster. At first they brought us some biscuits and my friend insisted I try them. I am glad I did because they were absolutely awesome! They were so good, that you need to be careful not to over eat them, or you will fill yourself up before dinner even starts. In the menu I saw a lobster bisque. It tasted great, but it was served warm. I dont know about you, but I like my soups really hot. This is an easy problem to solve. For lunch I chose the garlic shrimp scampi, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and fried scallops. Of these four things, I really liked the shrimp the mashed potatoes and the broccoli, but I really didnt care much for the little/tiny pieces of fried scallops. At first, I thought the whole plate looked small and that it wasnt going to be enough for lunch. I was wrong. The flavor on the first three items was so rich that I was very satisfied with my lunch.

I came here on a Sunday night with a normal crowd, but it seemed like it was understaffed. There were groups waiting, but a ton of empty tables and booths. The food was fine and the service was okay although we waited at the table without our drinks or anything for too long. We could see our waitress was busy with other tables, so not her fault, but it was irritating.

We ate here a few weeks back for lunch and overall the food was good. Not sure it was worth the pricing, but decent food... Service was okay, but it was probably because they seemed understaffed. The highlight if the meal was drama created by another customer, who was asked to leave by management. Management handled the situation well.

I would like to see corporate policy change in handling exchanges on menu. When ordering the Admiral Feast (18.99) and asking to remove the fish and one of the sides for my Dad on Fathers Day weekend. . . we were not offered any options to replace those missing items and the price ... well it stayed the same. I had to stop the waitress and ask ... were you not going to offer my Dad another option? She said he could have more of anything else on the plate (ie: scallops, shrimp, or clams), but after losing the fish filets and the vegetable we encountered an additional charge of 3.29 for a shrimp upcharge. I kinda felt cheated. I reported this to management on my cell but we got disconnected, when trying to call back it rang several times, but they may have been too busy to pick up. All in all we felt cheated and ignored, and the waitstaff made us feel like we should be grateful that the staff would even serve any of the customers there that afternoon. We didn't feel very welcome, and the additional cost (lost value) did not help us feel less cheated.

I agree that Red Lobster has lost some equity in terms of service as well as food quality. I would also agree that the decline is mainly attributed to management. The attention to detail and professionalism has take a back seat to substandard service, poor food preparation, and general courtesy. For example, the wrong food was brought to our table on two occasions. The fish was severly over-cooked not to mention the plate contained grease drippings that implied the food was thrown on the plate. The silverware was dirty. The sever had to be reminded to take used dishes when she finally came to our table. Red Lobster was my family's favorite eatery; however, it's time to say good bye! Spend a hundred bucks and get bad service once, shame on you. Spend a hundred bucks a and get bad service twice, shame on me!!!

I've never really had an issue here. The crab legs I had the other day were a little cold and over cooked, but other than that it was fine. That Mai Tai I had was delicious though.

Ordered the Lobster Bisque, Seafood Stuffed Flounder, Steak and Shrimp, and Mac&Cheese for the little one.. The service was nice, but the food was simply awful. Needless to say, I will not be coming here again. I would have given an extra star solely for the service, but even that isn't enough

I used to like this place. Unfortunately Since CBSH went out of business, I think they think they are the only seafood place in town. The service was really bad on our last visit. They got our order wrong, and we waited for what seemed a millenium for our food, then it was not right. When we complained, the manager said he would give us a 25% discount, but when the check came, it was only 20%. So, even though I feel badly, I took the balance out of the waitresses tip. Usually don't but I'm sorry. I believe you get what you pay for and the service we recieved was not worth 18-20%. Another downer was the size of the mahi steak I was served. It looked like a filet from the last time I cooked up a bunch of sunfish. Not worth the $18 I paid for it.
(2)
Lauren B.
Worst service of my life... Me leaving a $4.76 tip on a $75.24 bill was me being generous! Had to ask another server for things we needed because we saw our server probably twice! The people next to us came in about 10 minutes after us and got our food about 10 minutes before us.. Plates were hot and food was barely warm which means it sat in the window for awhile.

Clean and huge. "thats what she said" ewww.... So I'm allergic to anything that swims or lives in the water. I do like red lobster though- anytime I visit one I like to see people tearing into crustaceans as if they A- have never eaten, B- will never eat again. The salads are usually fresh, there are chicken, steak, and pasta dishes you can get totally seafood free and kitty safe. I got linguini alfredo last Friday with a side of broccoli, and asparagus (there's a random upcharge for asparagus) Threw the veggies in my pasta and made quite a night of it. :) Biscuits to boot!

Lobster is pretty good but the rice alittle overcooked. The shrimp is good and the biscuits are delicious as usual. Fast service and seating this time around. I also got a peach margarita which was delicious.

I just ate here tonight with my better half...it was good and bad. The service was slightly slow, however I attribute that to the fact that our server had a trainee shadowing him the whole time. It took quite a while to get our drinks and appetizers...but the server(s) were very friendly and helpful when we did see them. We started with the lobster stuffed mushrooms...I tasted absolutely no seafood...it was all old bay and cheese. I had the lobster bisque and it was actually quite good (definitely dip those addictive cheddar biscuits in it...mmmmm.) For our entrees, he got the sirloin and shrimp and said his sirloin was cooked perfectly and very tender. I got the mahi mahi and shrimp...the mahi mahi was wayyyyy overcooked and very dry. Thank God the sweet bbq sauce was sooooo good !!!! I soaked everything in it. The rice was delicious as well and the portions were sizeable. The drinks were made well also; not just a splash of alcohol and a ton of mixer like a lot of chain restaurants seem to do...I had a dirty gin martini and he had a rum and coke. Overall it had it's downs but the "ups" were there too ^_^ I'll go again :)

Red Lobster - Waldorf, MD Fri. May 30 around 3pm-ish No greeting, but there were 3 people standing around at host podium just talking. They saw us and made eye contact...but NO greeting whatsoever. Were then seated but no one came to ask for our drinks for a few minutes. The people next to us served drinks and orders were taken and they had arrived AFTER us. After food was finally ordered and brought out, we had no set up to eat with. Tried to get attention of waiters (again, three were just standing around, no attention was paid. I got up and had to ask the waiters for the utensils) The people behind us also didn't have set up and followed our example of getting up to ask for them. A lot of servers standing around. Very bad customer service. Food was bland. The only good thing was the ice cream. Doubt we will returning.

Its salty, overcooked and drench in butter. But the BISCUITS! Oh, the Cheddar Bay biscuits! *drool* UH-MAZING. Maybe I'm just super deprived as I've yet to find an inexpensive seafood place in London. But coming back home and getting the Ulimate Feast, with Caesar salad & baked potato with sour cream and butter made my day!

Good food but has terrible service. It took over 2 hours just to have dinner and it wasn't even that busy. I am still sitting here as I'm writing this as my check still hasn't returned. I asked a lady that isnt a waiter and she bought my check back, I never saw my waiter again. Terrible service. Only reason it got 1 star is because the food was fine but the experience, which makes most of the dinner, was terrible.

I know its just Red Lobsters, but you still would expect better service, not only has the food fell off in the past few years but the service is starting to follow. There was once a time when Red Lobsters was a place I would go to on a friday or saturday night with the family, but now outside of the cheddar bay biscuits the food pretty much sucks. I guess they are trying to live off the fact that they are a big chain, but someone seriously needs to start taking more pride in the food they serve their consumers.

Slowest..................... service............... ever. Ok, so it's the all you can eat shrimp special time again. We have gone the past several times they have done this and have been satisified. This time, though, it was lacking. We came in at 8, which is later than we normally eat. They said the wait was 20 minutes, which is not too bad based on previous visits. When we are seated, we noticed that half the Restaurant is empty and wonder why the wait. We ordered our drinks, which came out quickly and immediately ordered our food. It took about 15 mins to get our salad and biscuits (which, by the way, were the best thing about the entire meal.) The salad was meh, ok. When you first order, you choose two different types of shrimp. 30 minutes after ordering, our shrimp comes out and we immediately asked for our refills as we know there is a delay. Then we noticed that two of us received incorrect items. Well, not a huge deal as we were going to try different things anyway. The scampi and parmesan crusted shrimp are swimming in more butter than there is shrimp. I expected that for the scampi but the parmasean was just scampi with goopy parmesan stuff coagulated on top of the shrimp and butter. It was not 'crusted' at all and looked kinda gross. Well, it's not like we are here to eat healty, right? The grilled shrimp was good, but not great and it's served on rice which is ok. I really miss the coconut shrimp as that was my favorite. My 2nd order was fried shrimp and I asked the waiter to bring me some cocktail sauce. He came by and dropped something off (no sauce), and I asked again. He said sorry, he would bring some by. He came back, but no cocktail sauce. So I just ate my fried shrimp as is. Then 5 mins later he brought someone elses fried shrimp with cocktail sauce! Argh! Long story short, the waiter was nice and apologetic, maybe he was new or something. He seemed kinda frazzled and commented on how busy it was. Hmm, half empty restaurant? I think I'll skip the whole shrimp thing next time and not fall for those pix on tv. I told my daughter we should have just gone to Golden Corral, their shrimp are readily available at least and just as good as these. Plus they have yummy rotissierie chicken. Would have cost almost half the price as well, and we wouldn't have to wait and wait.......

Terrible! Poorly managed and the staff seems to be incompetent and poorly trained. Worst dining experience of my entire 30 years of life!!!!

This place is a nice spot for chain seafood. Never had any huge issues here. My BFF actually likes it more than me. Drinks are always a hit or miss though. Location is next to St. Charles mall. Nothing to write home about.

Granted, it IS Red Lobster so you can't expect much, but the service was reeaally slow. The food wasn't horrible, nothing amazing. At least it was free...
