Great, quick service. Good food. The wings are really good. The hot wings are not just red hot sauce like other places, they have great seasoning. I highly recommend them! I had the sirloin. When it came out, it didn't look like much, but it tasted delicious. Our server was excellent, wish I remembered his name. Hubby had the ribs, said they were okay...too fatty and needed more BBQ sauce.

The Good My company was great. My appetizer (Crab & Avocado Stack) that I had as an entree was delicious. It consisted of avocado and crab meat with a hit of wasabi vinaigrette served with tortilla chips. All of the flavors were perfectly married. My taste buds have not been that happy in a long time. Our server Alex was awesome. He was very attentive and quite funny. The Okay My Long Island Ice Tea tasted more like a flavored tea than an alcoholic beverage. I thought it was the first one, however after I threw the first one down and asked them to kick the second one up a few notches, it was still the same result. But that's okay. I guess this way I did not need a free cab ride home.

Went here tonight to get carryout for valentine's day. I figure I would forgo the long wait. Ordered online around 745pm ..website said 20 minutes..when I got there I was told the wait time for picking up orders was more than an hour..no problem so I waited. I got home with my food to find out that my side orders were not in the bag. I call the restaurant just to be put on hold. I then asked for a manager and u was told "we are too busy right now can you call back at another time.....:" I hang up the phone. My wife begins to cut her steak (which I ordered well done no pink) only to find out the steak is not well done there is blood and pink all over. I won't ever ever go to this restaurant again. I know it's a big day and plenty of restaurants are crowded however that is no excuse for forgetting side orders and under cooking a steak. Very unprofessional.

Having the best night ever!!! Ginger was our server and was amazing!!! The food was nothing shy of perfect especially with my dietary restrictions (which they met and exceeded) but her attentiveness and eye for detail made our night. They're blessed to have her here.

When I go to chain restaurants, I only judge them on the service I receive because for the most part you know what you are getting with the food. I must say that the service at this place has made me a fan of Outback Steakhouse. Whenever we do not feel like cooking and we want to go somewhere quick in the area, this place is always the number one choice.

I've found outback to be one of the most consistent chain restaurants across the board and wasn't disappointed by this one. I came here from the DC area with my friend after a long day of paintball. The "snack size" blooming onion was plenty large as an appetizer. The drinks and steaks were good. I should've ordered my steak medium instead of medium rare, as it came out rare (I should know that this is how outback does it by now). We both liked our food, and the service was good.

Food was fine (finger food) Service & service was chaotic at best even on a Friday. Wait time on average was 40min and even the bar was even worst base on first come and who annoyed the staff the loudest . Maybe better on a weekday?

Never going back! Walking in, the odor of damp and stale dishcloths overwhelms your senses. Smelled like we walked into a ghetto ass golden corral. Arrived at 8:30 pm on a Thursday night. Seated 15 minutes later in a very under crowded dining area. Placed our drink orders and appetizer (one blooming onion) Four waters, an iced tea and lemonade arrived 15 minutes later. Appetizer another 20 minutes. After an hour no meals. Oh yeah, the floor was filthy. Don't even want to eat now....WORST OUTBACK EVER!

Tried here again and had the same issues. The bar is unclean. The steak is undercooked. The service is lackluster and impersonal. I follow the baseball rule which is 3 strikes and you're out. This location gets one more chance before it's out of the lineup!??

I love this Outback. My boyfriend and I go there quit often. We always get great service and great food. Our favorite meal is the Victorian filet with crab legs or coconut shrimp. My only complaint would be the mixed drinks, they can be hit or miss.

I had a great meal here. I was scared that it wasn't going to be that amazing because a lot of the restaurants in the area have left me wanting. This outback was pretty darn good! For the price you pay you get a nice meal and the staff was amazingly nice!

Absolutely unacceptable! If I could give less than one star I would. We sat for ten minutes without being greeted, without a waiter. Nothing. Finally after two tables were seated after us and had their orders taken and drinks delivered, we walked out. Total fail.

My FAVORITE restaurant!! Out of all the Outbacks around me, I will past one to get to this one.. I've never had a bad experience with my bi weekly curbside takeaway service or a bad experience when dining in! Last night, my mom and I came in at 530pm and we were seated right away.. The server was prompt and courteous, and paid attention when our drinks were low.. I ordered the special for 14.99 which was the 5oz sirloin, bacon wrapped shrimp, loaded bake and a Caesar salad... The sirloin was perfect medium and the blooming onion for the app was also perfect.. I can't say enough good things!! (I use to live in Clinton and would drive to Waldorf instead of Oxon Hill Outback but I will do that review shortly)

Went to Outback for the first time a couple months back expecting great experience (the parking lot was always filled). As soon as I had entered the restaurant the area was quite small and crammed. (Seems like they tried to fit in as much tables as they could) The customer service was okay but the food wasn't as pleasing as I wanted. Ordered my steak medium rare and received bloody rare - I only took a couple of bites and left the steak there. Hoping dessert would be better I was sadden to a stale Oreo cookie with my milkshake. Overall the experience was not the best.

Very dirty place. I also asked for ketchup twice while my burger was getting cold. I waited about ten minutes, still no ketchup. I walked to the bar to get it myself from the bartender and she said I'll go back and get you some. I waited about 3-4 minutes and she never came back. How long does it take? Anyway I went back to my table still, no ketchup. So finally Ketchup came but at that point my food was cold so I asked them to take it away as I was in a hurry. The waitress said let me get a manager. The manager came over and was pretty sarcastic about my food being cold. RUDE. And by the way this was at 9 P.M. I wouldn't go back here if it was free.

Went here after a long drive and good appetite. First thing we noticed was the massive amount of babies and kids dining. I have no problem with kids, but at least 1 was crying or screaming the entire hour we dined? Server was ok, but seemed distracted, probably by the loud children! Our blooming onion was undercooked and greasy. Salad was sub-par but meal did get a little better. My steak was perfect and the potato was just ok. Most if the rest of our group were satisfied. I guess Sunday night is not the best night to dine here - must be family night?

I like there food but last time i was not impressed. I ordered the prime rib only for it to come out looking like a 6oz sirlon steak and it was tough to top it off i ordered it medium but when i looked inside it was extra done. The waitress barely came by so because i was at dinner with friends i smothered it in A1 and ate it so now we order curb side take out they are fast and our food is always right and good

Meh. Took a hiatus from here a while back and we decided to check it out again after almost a year. Looks like things definitely went downhill. The wait was about 15 minutes even though it wasn't filled to capacity and a few tables were available. Surprised at first why it wasnt packed for a saturday night but later found out why. Came to the table which was filthy underneath (lettuce and all types of junk on floor). Asked for it to be removed immediately. Our waiter was pretty incompetent albeit nice and brought out cold bread with no silverware or plates (sigh). Also the strawberry lemonade which used to be good is now horrible! A watered down version of the original. For the food we normally get the bloomin onion for starters but our waiter recommended these new lobster and shrimp bites. So why not we said. Well it came out and we weren't pleased at all. Mostly just fried shrimp in a fried unpalatable type batter. I never even had a chance to bite into one "lobster" bite. Took it back and exchanged it for the bloomin onion which came out at the same time with our entrees. Oh great. Now I wanted to try this new chop steak with onions and mushrooms since a competitor down the road suddenly decided not to offer it on their menu anymore. Anyway, it came upside down where the toppings were placed underneath this dry burger patty. WTH!! So I had to flip it over first and it was not good at all. Dry as the sahara. Even A1 couldn't salvage this disaster. Waiter offered us dessert and of course we declined. Food was mediocre and I wonder how chains like outback, olive garden, etc. just went downhill all of a sudden. Think their time has passed and local/mom and pop stores offer better food and service. We vowed never to return to this outback. However the one in La Plata is slightly better but not sure we'll even visit that one for quite some time.

Fine Australian dining has arrived in Waldorf, MD. Can you believe that an Australian restaurant would find it's way all the way in southern Maryland? Me either. Outback is a decent place to eat, it's one of the MANY chains in Waldorf that just wind up tasting like each other. If you don't like this one, drive ten minutes down the road and go to the one in La Plata. On the plus side, check out their big beers, everyone loves a big beer. Their bloomin' onions are good, if don't eat the whole thing you won't have a heart attack. If you're going to do curbside, prepare to wait--also, don't expect the food to taste exactly like it does in the restaurant.

The thing about Outback is that it's NOT AUSTRALIAN FOOD! It's not even close to Australian food - and I was born and raised over there, so I should know. It's gimmickry. U.S. food with "Australian" names. That said, the steaks are mediocre, particularly given the prices, and the service is pretty dismal. Try a real steakhouse and you'll get a better deal.

I have always been a fan of the Outback chain until now. This restaurant needs to work on several things. I have used there curbside pickup several times with no issues until recently. I placed my order online and received my pickup time. I arrived for pickup about 5 minutes after that time. There were 4 cars already in line. It took 10 minutes for someone to even come out the restaurant and see the other cars that had arrived by this time. 3 pulled up after me. 5 minutes later someone came to my car and asked if I needed to place an order. I said no it was pickup. During this time more cars are pulling up and everyone is leaving there cars to see what the hold up is. Almost 30 minutes later my order was delivered to my car. I gave them my credit card and waited. 10 minutes later the waiter came to have me sign my receipt. I went to sign and realized the price was correct but the card number was not. The waiter handed me the other receipt and said this must be yours. Well on the receipt the card was correct but the price was not. He went back to fix it. 5 minutes later a new waiter came out. He had two receipts with cards in his hand. He showed me both and neither was my order or card. 10 minutes later the manager came out with my card yet she had the wrong total again. I explained this was the 3rd time I had to explain this. Got no apologies or anything . Just I'll fix it. She returned 15 minutes later with my card and the correct receipt. But still no apology! Never AGAIN! I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and went inside yesterday to place a to go order from the bar. This was almost as bad. First off, it smelled horribly. I'm not sure what the smell was but it should have been rectified before allowing customers inside. The bar was dirty and when I went to the restroom I noticed that the floor was filthy. Someone had begun to sweep the debee up but stopped halfway so there was a pile of trash in the middle of the floor. Now the bartender was friendly and the service for my food was quick but it just isn't enough to make me go back which is a shame because I live right around the corner.

Service was slow. Food was very flavorful. We had to send our steaks back, we asked for medium well but got medium rare. Once they were cooked they were very good. Loved my salad dressing, balsamic vinaigrette. Knew we were going to spend a lot which is why we only go on rare occasions.
(3)
Deb T.
This Outback is mediocre. Average, if not lower, service (both dining and pick up) and the food can sometimes be below average. If you do take out make sure you check your entire order before leaving. Most times at least one item will be missing or something will be incorrect. If you call to complain after arriving home they accuse you for not checking before leaving the restaurant. We no longer go to Waldorf Outback. La Plata Outback is worth the extra 10ish minute drive. Service is outstanding compared to Waldorf and the food is much better. Never had a problem with service, food or take out with La Plata's Outback.

This is a great place to eat if you like it a little noisy. The food is your topical steak and seafood menu, however the Lamb is wonderful with the special sauce they include. Drinks are on the pricey side, but the giant beer is a bargain. The wait to get seated can be quite long at times even though they have call ahead seating.
