All the best stuff here and has been the best since I came here with my parents as a kid. Spinach pie.... Droool. Spinach and feta and goodness in a puff pastry is my favorite. The calzone is huge, bring a friend or an appetite and a half. And it's delicious too. Pizza is great, the sliced sausage is amazing on a pie here. Stromboli? Hope you like fresh ingredients. Want sauce? It's liquid gold and goes great with any calzone or Stromboli or spinach pie. The lasagna has never been a disappointment and makes a great lunch run. I hear the Sicilian style is good but I've not had it. This place is my candidate for Guy Fierri's diners, drive-ins, and dives.

Hubby and I have been here a few times and it's really good food. I've had the chicken kabob and the eggplant parmesan sub. Both were so good and a lot of food. I've taken a box home each time. He like the pizza there, always brings some home. The restaurant is ALWAYS busy. We easily found a table tonight, on a Saturday night, at the 6 p.m. hour. Our server was pretty busy with other tables, she was good to us though. We saw she was busy with a large party and the hostess take our check though. We'll be back!

Had I written this review a few years ago, I may have given them 5 stars. My wife and I went out to Napoli several times when we lived in the Waldorf area and had great experiences, from the food to prices to the service. I can't say all the same nice things today. Now, some things have admittedly changed. We moved out of state, we had children, and we've been away a while. I was wearing a Michigan State Spartans shirt and we had two small children with us, and I am not sure if either factor rubbed our waitress the wrong way, but she was not happy about serving us. She was an elderly woman who may have been having a bad night, but it really turned our experience into a bad time. I hope she has not ruined others' dinner night out experiences the way ours was ruined. The pizza also left a lot to be desired. Maybe we remember wrong? But in 2008-2010 in the times we went there a few times, we remembered loving the pizza. This time, it was too thin and crusty and not very tasty. This explains my 3-star review. I've had really good experiences and one really bad one. Sadly, since we don't live in the area anymore, I can't say we'll ever try it again if we find ourselves driving down Rte. 301 to visit our area friends. We would pick a different restaurant that we used to enjoy down there.

Pizza was great. Awesome price and impressed they sell it by the slice and whole pie. Calamari was a tad rubbery. But the baklava was amazing. Customer service was great. Gotta try this place!

I have to say this is the best pizza in Waldorf . I would much rather come here than a chain, but it does take a little longer. I am perfectly fine with that knowing that this is a local business that has good food. My only complaint is that they use canned mushrooms on the pizza so I had to pick them off because I like mine a little crispy or not at all. That being said I still gave them all five stars because the review is for the pizza itself, not just a topping.

We didn't realize the pizza we ordered was so HUUUUUGE haha leftovers for days. Super yummy! Probably the only place we will get pizza from from now on! Yes, it's just that awesome.

Have gone here for many many years. It never disappoints. It is a must try pizzeria. The Calzone's are amazing. Fresh ingredients makes this place special. Everyone is always friendly! New table service. Yay just got better.

I love the pizza! A definite standout from the cookie cutter pizza franchises! Very laid back atmosphere with very nice staff.

Best pizza in the area. The sauce is amazing and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Gets crowded fairly quickly especially on a Saturday night. I will definitely get all future pizzas from Napoli.

The 411: this is arguably the best place for a non-chain pizza pie in the Waldorf area. The first thing I look to judge in any Italian/Greek restaurant: the tomato sauce. Their rendition is very good and quite unique. It's thin, acidic and very good on their pizza. You can really taste the undertone of wine in it, which I like. It's a very simple tomato sauce which, in my opinion, goes a long way. You can taste the real ingredients instead of sugar or other additives. The people here are so friendly. I don't typically look for service when I'm hungry, but this Greek family restaurant is so warm and welcoming, you can't help but make note of it. Also, the gyros are very good. I don't typically come here for the gyros, but if you want something other than pizza, that's the safest alternative. They got lots of calzones and hot subs that you can get too. The toppings are varied and incredibly delicious. The cheese is mild and very tasty, Especially with some dried oregano tossed on for extra flavor. Their sausage and pepperoni have never disappointed me. Much yummy Their non-meat toppings are very fresh and always perfectly cooked. Since pizza is so customizable, I really can't convey everything to the readers of this review. All I can say is that I urge you to try the pizza. It really hasn't disappoints me yet. It's gotta be the best in the area, no doubt.

We've heard from a few people that we needed to try the pizza at Napoli, so my husband and I went to grab a pizza before a movie on a weekend night. The place was packed, but we were seated fairly quickly. However, the meal kind of went downhill from there. Our pizza took about 45 minutes to come out. It was just a pepperoni and mushroom pie, and we didn't order anything else. When we did get the pizza, it wasn't worth the wait. It was kind of lukewarm and definitely undercooked, which was a surprise after waiting so long for it. We ate it because we were starving and needed to get to the movie (we were already a few minutes late because of the wait time). The waitress gave us some complimentary baklava to take home, which was nice, but not enough for me to want to go back.

Absolutely love there food we have never tasted such a fresh and great pizza like this before. They are soo friendly and I love the chicken salad.

This pizza is the best I have had here. I enjoy the pepperoni with extra cheese. Food is always fresh and hot. I would recommend to anyone.

Finding good pizza in Maryland is tough, in Southern Maryland, even harder. Then you visit Napoli Pizza! This is the best pizza is the area, hands down. The Sicilian Pizza is made perfect as is their normal hand tossed pizza. Growing up in NYC, doesn't make me a pizza expert but I know what tastes good. This pizza made a great dinner and breakfast! if you looking for real pizza that tastes like NY, this is the place to go.

  • Ashley B.

Good food, great service. I had the napolitan pizza tonight but I've also had the sicilian. I prefer the sicilian but both are good.

  • DL B.

This place is the closest I've had to NY Pizza in the DMV area. My wife will argue that Valentino's is better. Valentino's has a weird after taste that rubs my pallet the wrong way. Napoli's has realistic pricing unless you want a veggie pie which you must have. The Gyros are awesome and fulling. Napoli's lost a star because I order 2 slices the other night and I was advised that only had squares left. These were not Sicilians they were squares. They tasted like squares. They were boring and the cheese/sauce/bread ratio through me for a loop. Bread heavy. They lost an additional star because their regular pie fail to wow my co-workers.

Pizza here is awesome . Old school feel to we had birch beer which is Teena's favorite. We had the works on our Pizza. Highly recommend this place

My absolute favorite pizza place in this entire area, hands down. My parents have been coming here since before I was born, so I grew up eating the pizza from here. I think the best part is it's not just the pizza that stands out: it's hard picking what to get when I go here every time, because everything they have is incredible. Whether you want just a pizza, or Greek or Italian food, this is the place to go. The sauce is perfect, they're great with the crust, and the toppings never disappoint. I make it a point to take people who've never been here, just so they can see what they're missing. And the price is right too! Whenever I move away, I know this will be the one place I HAVE to visit when I make trips back to the area.

  • S. B.

A local non chain pizza joint. They make a decent pizza. The Calzone and Stromboli are really good. The gyro is a must try. And you can not go wrong with the pizza....we always order the hand tossed with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. Yum!!! Last but not least, I really enjoy their Greek salad as well. If you decide to check them out there are two things to know....they don't deliver and they don't have a website;))

What a wonderful find, came in based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! The service was great and from the beginning our food was awesome! Started with Zucchini sticks, yum! Ordered a large pizza for kids and hubby and they raved! I ordered the Lasagne and it was really, really good the meat sauce just melted in your mouth, so good! The fresh bread with meal was terrific too! Will no doubt be back!

  • Philip P.

Always good! Just had to wait a while for my pizza! They have new paintings from a Greek painterror based in PA of Greece! Very nice oil paintings while I enjoyed my meal! To flat screens with the game on was a bonus! Staff super friendly and very attentive! This is my hang out spot on Fridays.

I should not post this as if I do then many readers will begin to order this and it will be difficult to get. Mainly because they will run out. The Greek Moussaka is incredibly delicious. It is a dish with a large portion including layers of eggplant, potatoes, ground beef, tomato based sauce and a fluffy béchamel topping. It also comes with a fresh loaf of bread. I cannot find this dish prepared better anywhere. Try it once and you will understand. Everything at Napoli is good! I know the pizza is great, but get past it and try other things on the menu. Oh! The chicken soup will make you feel better even if you are not sick. I could go on and on...

Our new family favorite! Their pizza is amazing. Their gyros were just indescribably delicious. For those of you who miss a good Doner-kabob- this is the place!! Order the Gyros plate. The wait staff is every bit as good as the food they serve. Even my children are giving rave reviews. Good portions, low prices.

This place had a very rude manager who through a fit when I questioned the addition of $0.59 for a refill on the soda. My family and I left before getting our food, due to the rudeness. The food is great, but we will never be back.

Best pizza in the area! I am from NJ and it was hard trying to find an up north style pizza and this one hits the spot!! I never go any place else and I always take the drive just to get the pizza! Can never go wrong!

  • Michelle S.

Met my boyfriend here for lunch one day, it's one of his favorite pizza spots in this area. I just got a small pepperoni pizza, it was actually very good. I'd come back here to see what else is good on the menu but the pizza I had was great!

  • Jessica H.

Unbelievable! This place has INCREDIBLE food. We tried it last night after reading all the great reviews and were just blown away. My husband had a slice of the Sicilian pizza and a gyro. My 5 year old got the calzone with sausage, and I had the chicken parmesan. The calzone was huge and my little daughter still ate half of it even though it was half the size of her body practically! My chicken parmesan was served with a homemade marinara sauce with meat. It literally was the best sauce I've ever had in my life. I picture a little old Italian woman in the kitchen stirring a bubbling pot of sauce in the back while it simmers for hours. That's just what it tastes like. If you're looking for an upscale Italian restaurant, this is not it but that's not why people come here. It's down home Italian cooking at it's best. We can't wait to come back!

Delicious pizza! The garlic bread is really good too. Family owned so staff is friendly and warm. Give this place a shot!

  • Brett M.

Absolutely the BEST around! Readers: Being a NJ native and a NYC frequenter I have High standards when it comes to pizza. Needless to say Napoli is the cream of the crop! This Mom and Pop shop might as well be on the streets of NYC. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT read the bad reviews, they are misleading and come from Maryland Natives that have no idea what real NYC style pizza is. If your review even attempts to compare this place to a Franchise or chain, you have no idea what you're talking about and your point is invalid. Go here for yourself, form your own opinion and give it a shot. You won't be disappointed. Also try the cannolis :)

  • Jason T.

Pretty good chicken kabob over rice which my wife got but I had a steak and cheese. I'm not sure if it was because it was 30 mins from closing time or what but my steak and cheese was all bread with little meat and I was very disappointed with that and the whys I ended up eating some of my wife chicken kabob with her.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. We went here due to the popular ratings on Yelp. Very simple ordering process. Go to the cashier and order, take a number and pick a seat. Food is amazing, and there's a vintage pacman machine in the back. What's more to love in a pizza place? I'm not sure if the ease of getting to the location coming from DC (may require a u-turn), but the food is worth any kind of adventure. Also as a note - refills are not free! Savor your beverage if you can to avoid the extra charge :-) tip jar is also located by the register.

Our first time here and we ordered the Napoli pizza. It was excellent and they use fresh toppings. The service however is not to par with their food. Our server, Tia wasn't good at all. I wonder how she got a job there. She barely speaks up and doesn't know anything about the menu. I'm not even exaggerating. I asked what was in the pizza and she had to grabbed an older server to explain it to us. Then I ordered a to go pork kebob over rice. She got it wrong and gave me a pita pork kebob sandwich. Seriously? Pizza is awesome, but the service sucks!

I crave Napoli when I haven't had it in a while... I've eaten alot of pizza in my day but Napoli's is definitely one of my favorites. I frequent the tinder box (in the same shopping center) and order for delivery sometimes. I love the ladies that work there and the owners are cool too! A GEM!

Mmmmmmmm. came on a Friday night and while they were pretty busy, we didn't wait too long on our pizza... WHICH WAS DELICIOUS!! not super greasy, perfectly stringy cheese (it was like when you see pizza commercials on tv!), staff was friendly. I'd definitely be a frequent customer if I lived closer. Got a cannoli for the road.. ehhhh, not so impressed. But the pizza made up for it!

I'm an Italian food junkie, for starters! I'm originally from NJ and lived on the west coast for a while. I have seriously missed legit pizza and mom and pop shop Italian food places. After reading reviews about this place, my husband and I gave it a go. Let's just say..... we're addicted! The pizza is FABULOUS!!!! Their pasta is great! The lasagna is awesome! They're bread... yay :) ! Their calazones are HUGE and tastey!! ..... I could go on! Their food is all very, very fresh, made with all fresh ingredients. Their chicken and rice soup had chunks of chicken and fresh carrots in it (I mean, CHUCKS!). They're portions are huge!! The prices are reasonable. They're always packed, which to me means they're good. They know their clientele well... as they call lots of people by their first name and make casual conversation with them. Which I like, because it gives for a homey feel and shows they care. We go back frequently!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!!! :-)

Been past this place a hundred times and tried it for the first time today. We ordered a medium pizza with various toppings. It was huge and soooo good. The pizza had so much flavor, with a garlicky undertone. All the food we saw others order looked good too, and portions were huge. I was not in the mood for a pizza chain pizza, so I looked on Yelp. Saw all the good reviews. I was not disappointed and will definitely go back. Staff was friendly. Oh, and you can buy just a slice if you don't need a whole pie.

Me and my mom had to wait 45 minutes on Monday for only 5 items: 2 gyros, the shrimp pita, a tuna melt and fried mushrooms. By the time we finally got the food, the mushrooms were already cold. We had to wait almost an hour for food that had been sitting around and we only got our food when I asked how much longer we had to wait. I have such fond memories of Napoli's from the first time we lived in Maryland in the mid-90's. Sadly, those are just memories. It will be a long long time before my family returns.

HEAVEN...RIGHT HERE...ON EARTH! I found out about this place because it delivers to the Tinderbox (see review) and I was hungry one night. I had no idea what to order, and was not in the mood for pizza even though they are advertised as a pizzeria. I found a Greek Platter and said I'd give it a try. I have yet to have amazing Greek food since I've moved to DC/MD area. I come from Michigan where there is a billion amazing middle eastern food places so I'm a hard sell. Until... Insert drum roll.... NAPOLI'S!!!! This place is quite f'in amazing! Best lamb I've had on the east coast! Huge chunks of feta in the salad, soft flavorful pita bread and garlic fries. OMG...the garlic fries. Tip: Don't order the Greek platter if you have a jump off situation planned...your breath will be off the chain for days. I was craving this platter again and my hubby wanted pizza so he got the Calzone and I got the platter and just for sh&ts and giggles tried a slice of their pizza and man!!! They won! They won again. Best pizza ever. A slice is enough to fill you up!!! I can't imagine what you get for one whole pizza!!! Its thick, delicious and full of flavor. I can't wait to try everything from their menu. So far...my favorite place in Waldorf. I just wished they delivered!

Great place to get some home made style food. We have been going here for several years and I can't imagine being forced to love in Waldorf with out this place. I love the meatballs here. The Greek style spaghetti with all the toppings is out of this world.

Great fresh salad topped with tender gyro, with dressing and tsatziki served on the side. Service was friendly and efficient. A great option on 301 to avoid fast food and chain restaurants. Nice atmosphere.

Best pizza in southern maryland!! The inside of the place needs a makeover but their food we'll makes up for it. Would eat there more often if the dinning room was in better condition.

I hate to write this review b/c I grew up going to Napolis. I walk in, it looks the same, it smells the same. They have booths, the raised pizza servers at your table, birch beer by the pitcher. canoli's are great. So heres where they went wrong... Went in for dinner with sick husband and daughter. Daughter had to pee, so we rushed to the bathroom. Husband grabs a table and puts his head down. Again he is sick, headache, etc. while in the bathroom, one of the staff goes up to my husband, yells "we don't let bums in here, go hang out somewhere else", and proceeds to kick him out even after he explains he is waiting for us, and not feeling well. As we emerged from the bathroom, starving and ready to order, we witness the screaming from the staff, and quickly ran after my husband, who was to ill to put up a fight. If it wasnt for that or the fact my daughter was with us I would have raised hell. Screw you Napoli's. you lost a great customer. THESE ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNERS. THEY LACK RESPECT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. DO NOT GO HERE FOR THAT ALONE.

I went here yesterday in an effort to hurry and get food before the snow really piled up & I'm sad to say that I was very disappointed. I was so excited to try this place because of all the reviews and I heard they had won best pizza at one point but it just proved to be a joke. First off let me start by saying the pizza was terribly greasy and thin. It took me at least 4 paper towels just to get SOME of the grease off two slices of pizza. There was nothing to really sink your teeth into & the crust was terrible; chewy, no flavor. It was just very bland all together. The sauce was okay. I've definitely had better at a chain. I just expected so much more from a mom and pop & I can only help but wonder how they ever were able to win best pizza (w/ a different recipe perhaps). I understand it's NY-inspired, but it was a far cry from real NY pizza as far as I'm concerned. However, they have pretty good customer service & prices are good. But I just have no interest in returning to try anything else whatsoever. I definitely can get better elsewhere.

My husband grew up in the Waldorf area, eating Napoli's regularly, so he was excited to show me his old stomping grounds. Now, first let it be said - this is a pizzeria. A greasy, Italian/Greek hard-bench, walk-up and order, ignore the arcade game in the back, don't sit by the door when it's cold...pizzeria. You don't take a prom date here (unless you're going for that "we're ironic, aren't we hip?" thing). You go here when you want really good pizza, strombolis, calzones, etc. That's what we're talking about here... ...and you will NOT find better...not within at least 30 miles. Period. Period. You won't. I've tried. As I said, my husband grew up in Waldorf, but we live 15-20 miles away from Waldorf and frankly, there are places that are much easier for us to get to. If there were a better, or even equivalent pizzeria in the area - we'd go there instead. But there isn't. There are some that I like, but when I really want to blow a diet on a really great stromboli - it must be Napoli. My favorite item on the menu - by far the stromboli. I eat half in the restaurant and take half home for the following day's lunch. My husband gets the fries and I can never refuse a fry or two. They're sprinkled with savory herbs and really tasty. His favorite used to be the meatball and cheese sub, but I've made him a stromboli convert! The marinara is delicious and plentiful. Everything is cooked where you can see it from your table. I can't speak for any of their pasta dishes, but the pizza, the strombolis, the fried appetizers (which I avoid to maintain some semblance of a girlish figure)...all of that...SO good! They deliver through a 3rd party (which I have never used) and there is a fee involved. I think it's nominal. I saw a sign about it on the door the last time we went. Parking is plentiful and free in a lot right in front of the store. Like I said, the restaurant itself is nothing to write home about. Hard benches, old decor, but the clientele is happy, salt-of-the-earth types. The restrooms are gross. But I can't take a star. I just can't.

Best pizza in Southern Maryland no question! Been going to this place since I was a kid. Pizza is great and so are their other Italian, Greek, and American dishes. Not in the mood for pizza? Try the Lasagna, baked ziti, gyro, or steak and cheese.

Another night hanging out in Waldorf and I was in the mood for Souvlaki. So we decided to head over Napolis. I haven't been to the restaurant before but my friend told me not to worry. The food is really good. However I was more concerned on how my pita bread would taste lol. So we walk in and the place was busy (good sign). I ordered the chicken souvlaki and my friend ordered the Grecian pizza. I was pleasantly surprised how good our food was. I was extra happy and my extra side of tzatziki sauce in my bag. I love dipping my fries in that goodness. I only had a small bite of the pizza (came with onions) but it was good. I will stop in and try the pasta next.

Do not be put off by the strip mall location and dated decor. The food is fresh and the staff are incredibly friendly! This is one of the few restaurants in Waldorf that can accomodate a vegan diet.

I ate at this restaurant on Inauguration Day. It doesn't look like much from the street, or when you enter the place. You'd say it was a dive. But where do you find some of the best food??!! You order at the counter and find a seat on your own. The menus above the counter and there is a good assortment of Italian and Greek fare. On this night, I ordered a small napolitan pizza. My stardard pepperoni and mushroom. OK - it's not New York pizza, but it does come close. I loved the crust. Thin, crispy on the underside but still tender to the bite. The pepporini was great but the place loses some points on the canned mushrooms. But the mushrooms didn't take too much away from the overall taste of the pizza. I found my pizza joint for when I visit Waldorf!

Should be 6 Stars. I have been going to Napoli's for over 15 years. Everything on their menu is great. White Pizza like nowhere else. Hamburgers are great. French fries are crispy with a great seasoning. The Gyros are fresh and tasty. Prices are FANTASIC for the taste.

Awesome place! The pizza here is the best in Southern Maryland, but that's not all. The Greek food here is also amazing! Try the chicken or pork suvlaki.... You won't be disappointed.

I've been to this place a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised. The pizza is great, the draft beer is ice cold, and the people are super friendly. I am surprised to see that anyone would not like this pizza, personally I don't care for the pizza at the major pizza chains. The pizza here is for people who actually know what a gourmet pizza actually tastes like-looking forward to trying other dishes!! Don H.

Since moving to Waldorf from New York in 2002 my first choice in pizza is Napoli's restaurant. The seating and atmosphere reminds me of pizzarias found Upstate, Long Island, and The City. In the back there is a REAL PAC MAN MACHINE that takes QUARTERS! This takes me right back to simpler times. There are also two nice LCD televisions at either end of the restaurant. Near the front counter there are a few plaques with raving reviews from the Washington Post over the years and a billboard which communicates the owner's personal connections with the old world. Eating here is a genuine culinary experience anyway you cut it. When I'm self-indulgent I order their calzone and douse it in their amazing marina sauce. Their pizza is consistently voted best in Southern Maryland and for good reason. The Sicilian pizza is amazing and great for parties. I have enjoyed their home made tatziki and gyros on many occasions and suggest you try them too. Salads are excellent. Their menu is expansive and there is something there for every food lover.

My husband and I went here last weekend because he has now decided that we are going to try different pizza places in SoMD because....well, we can. And that's what he feels like. He's paying, so whatevs. On first impression, this is clearly a mom-and-pop restaurant, and is very dated. That's not what I'm deducting points for. I find that often, those kinds of places actually have the best food. The menuboard is quite extensive, and I was quite happy to see that they had greek food. When I left the house, I wanted greasy pizza to satisfy me. When I got there, I suddenly craved some gyros and tzatziki. This left my husband baffled but that's fine - he doesn't have lady parts so he can't invoke the perogative to change his mind. He ordered a thin crust with pepperoni and bacon, I ordered the gyros with tzatziki. We also ordered two sodas, which were rather large but did not come with free refills. My food came first, and the gyros platter was very large - point in their favor. They also gave me a significant quantity of gyros and fries - another point in their favor. And, they heeded my request for no tomatoes - point in their favor. Where they lose points is that there were only four tiny cubes of feta cheese for me to eat with this ginormous serving of food. Like, trident gum size cubes. That's barely any cheese, yo. And that's part of the allure of greek food - the feta! Why you gonna stiff people on that? I was also confused by the fact that the pita bread was cut up into triangles. I got one pita, four triangles - but had enough meat for two - three sandwiches. If you're going to give out that much meat, you're going to need to give out more cheese and bread. The lettuce, though, came smothered in a greek dressing which was very, very good. In fact, that was probably the best part of my platter. The fries were hot and nicely flavored but I had no room for them. The tzatziki was very thick and they were generous with it - it was very tasty (I prefer the thicker blend over the thinner style). My husband and I found the pizza disappointing. The crust was not crispy at all, and it was very greasy and runny. It was also pretty bland. I'm not sure we'll return for pizza but I'd hit it up again for Greek food.

Okay, I'm now in a time of my life where me and the Mrs are trying all types of new places just because we can. I want to find the best tasting foods regardless of price. I'm so sick of these greasy all you can eat ripoffs that they all should be shut down by the health inspector. I tried this place today at lunch time and had mix reviews: First, the pay before you can be seated is just not right. I had to stand at a counter and order my food before I could be seated is totally unsat and should be done away with if the want gain more business. I ordered a small pepperoni and sausage pizza. the pizza had a good flavor--the meats were pretty good, but lacked enough cheese. Finally, what made not go past 3 stars was the fact that there was no refills on drinks. Really--what kind of place today don't have free refills on sodas and ice tea? If it wasn't for the pizza tasting pretty good, I would not have given them 3 stars.

Without a doubt the best pizza I've had outside of New York. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this is the real deal, fabulous

Absolutely loved this lil' pizza joint. It was very tempting to turn around and find some place when we first entered, but I'm so glad we stuck it out. The food more than made up for it. The calamari was a little spongy, but overall alright. The marinara that came with it was very good. My husband ordered sicilian pizza and it was amazingly out of this world. They accomodated my picky eating 5 year old son with plain noodles, which he claimed were better than my own, and my daughter had an amazing spaghetti with meat sauce. My own eggplant parmesean was very very good, but could have used just a little more marinara on the noodles under the eggplant. Overall the people were very friendly with great customer service and the food was amazing. Just ignore the decor :)

Alright, finally got some time to evaluate this establishment. Note that I came here probably some 1-2 years ago and was slightly pleased overall. The thing I could not understand was how highly rated the pizza was by customers. Remember the pizza being too thin, no sauce, and just not very good from my experience back then even though it supposed to mimic NY style pizza. Mind you this was 1-2 years ago and since then the reviews have been outstanding ever since. So I ventured in today for lunch after a year or so hiatus. The decor has changed somewhat and looked warmer. Nice jazz music in the background as well. Owners and workers are genuinely good people and I like to support local businesses. You still have to pay in advance before getting your food served if dining in which is still odd. Especially if one wasnt satisfied with the food and wanted to substitute. Anyway, decided on the chicken souvlaki platter with fries and the greek salad. Fries were good but remember them being more flavorful and seasoned. Perhaps they toned it down to appease a variety of consumers. Salad was just ok and remember it being much better (slightly wilted and too many raw onions). Now the pita bread and chicken pieces were superb. Chicken moist and the side of tzatziki sauce topped it off. Overall, the food comes out hot and fresh and is good. Now by all means is it the best greek food I ever had and would I rave about it to friends? Not by a long shot. Still believe the prices are a little bit exorbitant, especially for the pies and greek platters but it is a premiere spot in the area for greek food and should satisfy your craving. I did notice several slices of pizza left behind from leaving customers and the appearance looks the same from my memory a year ago but maybe I'll give it a second try around the next time. Recommend.

WOW!!!!!!! I cannot believe that I have had this Pizzeria in my neighborhood this whole time. I have lived in Waldorf for about 10 years and I just ate at this restaurant last night (4/26/11). We had the Pizza and my wife had a Gyro and both items were Abso-FREAKIN-lutely DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have found a new hometown Pizzeria - this place receive's 2 thumbs way up by my 3 kids and wife - who by the way was raised in the Bronx NY and is really particular when it comes to Pizza but she loved it. Ohh and BTW - me and my wife both had to do a double take at our receipt because we could not believe how cheap it was.

The pizza was very good for southern Maryland! It is not as good as the pizza back in Jersey, but nothing measures up to that! We also had a Greek salad. The small salad is more than large enough for two. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Drink refills are 50 cents. A pleasant place for lunch!

My husband and I go often to Napolis. What a great restaurant. This family owned restaurant serves generous portions and delicious food. We love their soups, particularly their bean soup. I am considered a very good cook and I can tell you that soups at Napoli are home made and delicious. I never had bean soup as tasty as the bean soup served at Napolis. My husband often orders the lasagna, and I love their Greek salad. The owners of the restaurant are welcoming and very warm people. Those who work with them are also genuinely interested in customer care and giving you a meal which is enjoyed and absolutely wonderful. We go oftentimes for lunch and other times for dinner and always enjoy a delicious meal (and we rarely can finish all that is given in a portion). Try homemade cannoli for dessert- delicious and worth every single calorie. By all means, try this family owned restaurant!

Best pizza in waldorf by far. As close as your going to get to a true NY style pizza. Staff has always been friendly. Decor is run down and it's small but the food makes up for it.

Some of the best pizza in the DC area! Made with love and seriousness. You made have to wait but it will be worth it. Slight Greek influence means good feta and some interesting additions to the menu. You'll have to ask someone else about the non-pizza dishes. When I come here, I can't not get the pizza. Owners are great. My only wish is that they were open on Sunday.

These guys do the best pizza in the Waldorf area. They also have a pretty good Greek menu which the gyros are real good. I would and have recommended this place to all my friends. Cheers.

This is definitely the best pizza in Waldorf, and probably the best in Southern Maryland! We'll drive hours to try out a pizza place, and this fantastic, close-to-home joint tops them all! I'm not sure about their other food, but I'm sure it's great as well. They also have very friendly (though not always the fastest) service!

Sicilian pizza! Nice little place hidden away in a shopping center among thousands of strip mall stores in Waldorf. The food was of great quality, especially for the price.

This place is a nice small family owned restaurant with Greek and Italian food. The food is great. I love the veggie subs and sicilian cheese pizza slices. The service is friendly...These people know how to make ya wanna come back for more.

Great service and good food at a reasonable price. The waitress was super friendly and it seemed to be a well run family restaurant. You pay first which is different but it all went well.. Nice place to order from when you are at the Tinder Box.

This is what pizza should taste like! I ordered the thick crust pizza and took home to my family and they were going for seconds. No more Papa Johns for us. The menu has a excellent selection cant wait to try the pitas, roasted chicken, cheesesteak and burgers. Very glad I finally gave this place a try. *when you walk in the place is very shabby looking but dont let that sway you*

Wish I had found this place earlier! Best pizza in Charles or St Mary's County and we have tried everywhere! The people are nice. The food is awesome! The prices are great also. Food is always ready when they say it will be and have never had an order screwed up. Try Napoli once and you'll be hooked

Great neighborhood restaurant. Being from Boston, I know a great deal about Deli's and Pizzerias with great food. Almost impossible to find in the Metro DC area. I stopped in to grab a gyro, and was greeted with great customer service. very casual atmosphere, and had a great feel to it. With Sam Adams on tap, served in a frosty mug, it doesn't get any better. The pizza's looked really good too, I will be going back to try some other items. I live in the "Dorf" now, and I am glad I found a decent place to get a pizza and a sub. FYI They do have a Delivery Service; however, it is through a 3rd party company, and I think there is a small fee involved.

Napoli's has been around since i was a kid..however over the years i had kinda put it on the back burner..My son and I recently started going to this little Gem again and WOW..what was i thinking NOT thinking about this place all these years!! The people who work there are the same ones who have always been there, leading me to believe they may be the owners, and they are so friendly and kind..they remember you each time you come in which makes you feel very good and like an important customer..not only do they have pizza, they have greek speciality foods, and italian as well!! The pizza's are huge, and the cheese and toppings bubbly and fresh as can be!! If you are a pizza connasuier, as we concider ourselves to be, DO NOT MISS, OR FORGET ABOUT, NAPOLI PIZZERIA!!

This is my best friend's favorite pizzeria in MD. She's been talking to me about this place since she moved there over 5 years ago. Well, I finally got a chance to give this place a try and all I can say is "WOW!" The pizza was awesome and I can't wait to go back.

I went this week because I heard it was fantastic. I ordered the Grecian pizza and it was okay. It was good, but I can't say I'd recommend it or order it again. Huge menu so I'll go back and try something different sometime.

A great family-owned Greek pizza restaurant. The Greek salads are great and the pizza is always hot and tasty. Gyros are good too. Highly recommend!

Hands down Napoli is an awesome restaurant. If you are tired of all the chains in Waldorf, try Napoli. They have great Italian and Greek food at great prices. There baklava is spectacular as is their pizza. They have a really nice family atmosphere and a lot of good food. If you like souvlaki or gyro's this is the place to be.

Just tried Napoli for the first time this evening. We ordered delivery and only ordered 3 items, so I can't comment on the actual restaurant, and only know about the items we tried. My husband had a cheesesteak (after nearly 20 years of attending school and living in SoMD I still don't understand why they call it steak & cheese) and fries. I had a chicken kebab over rice. We also ordered lasagna to try out. My husband enjoyed his sub and the steak was thick cut and juicy. The fries had some kind of seasoning sprinkled on - they were good! My chicken kebab was also good. Juicy chunks of chicken, no gristle (always a plus for me and the #1 reason I'm generally wary of chicken), sautéed onions, green peppers (took them out) and rice. The rice was really good! Not sure what it was seasoned with but it had a lot of flavor on its own. The kebab came with a loaf of bread, which was really crispy and good. Just plain bread but it was good. According to my husband, the lasagna (which also came with a bread loaf) was pretty good although he said the meat wasn't layered throughout. I'll try Napoli again for sure, and update my review once I actually go into the restaurant instead of ordering delivery (through a 3rd party service for $5).

Really great pizza and Greek food. Great family restaurant. Brings me back the pizza places we'd go to when I was a kid. They even have an old school Pac-Man machine in the back!

Incredible place. Can usually smell the food (and start drooling) from the Red Wing Shoe place across the parking lot. I'm all about the pizza but the Greek food isn't bad. Don't miss the bootleg PacMan machine in the back that I vaguely remember as a kid in the 80's.

Had the pork sluvoki on pita bread with greek salad was excellent fresh cooked to order. Enjoyed it will go back. My wife ordered meatball sub - not so good. Did not like meatballs, sauce tasted like stewed tomatoes with no seasoning.

Every time I am in Waldorf, I stop at Napoli's to eat their lunch special. It is a sub, soda and fries for $6.99. You walk away full! They have Retro TV on, and with the place looking like the 70s, I am reminded of my childhood. The prices are excellent and the food is very tasty. Very clean, too!

Do NOT confuse this with that chain Pizza Napoli. Napoli's in Waldorf has slowly been edging out the Ledo's in Adelphi/College Park as my fave. And since that was to be my last meal on earth, this is quite the endorsement. Another review implied that Chuck E. Cheese's pizza is better than this - C'MON SON! If that's the case, then I'm about to start straight mushing kids in the face to get at some. This is what I call DFP: D@mn Fine Pizza. I'm not from NY or the Chi, so I don't have the usual accompanying hang-ups about pizza. If it's hot and cheesy and pork-y, I don't care what region it originated from. Napoli's pizza is dead right. It's not greasy. They offer 2 types of crust. I don't know what kind of sausage they use, but it's weird and good - they're sausage slices. I've had the gyros here and I'd recommend those as well. You can get pitchers of beer here too. Don't sleep on this spot. If you ever have reason to pass thru Waldorf, you will NOT be disappointed. If you are, I will personally come finish the pizza for you.

Stopped here passing through. Picked this place from the Yelp reviews. Good pizza and they stayed open after closing to let us eat! That is all...

If you call ahead, expect rude service from the women answering the phone. Poor service continues in the restaurant itself. Last night, two separate orders placed after ours were served before we were served (and we were all parties of 2 with similar food orders). The food is decent but I'm not going back since the service has been repeatedly poor - not something that can be blamed on anyone having a bad day when it happens every time.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
