The only reason I am giving 2 stars right now is because of the takeout guy that we usually deal with...he has dreds and is basically the boss! Now on to tonight...it's 9:00pm and we walk in without a res but I would be fine to wait for a table if the dinning room was full...but it's not full...far from it! There were 24 tables ... Count them 24(!) ... Open and not bused. People waiting at the bar waiting outside in the rain and people sitting inside the door. Mean while the hostess station has 3 girls doing nothing...watching me count the empty tables as they say my wait is 40 minutes! I see why we usually deal with the boss Dreds and not dine in. So sad.

I was at PF Changs recently and I was befuddled at why the place is always near-empty. Good location, good food, good service, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, it was a great night. My date and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded, which is what we wanted. Dimly light, attentive service, we were happy. It took no time to be seated and it seemed like everyone from the host to the waitress to the manager on duty made a point to come by and ask how did we like everything, were we happy, did we need anything, etc. My date and I did the prix fixe and got hot and sour soup (me), egg drop soup (him), lettuce wraps, mongolian beef (him), crispy honey shrimp (me), and a salted caramel/melted chocolate thing for dessert. It was all good and came out on time. I've been there maybe twice before and the food and service has always been good.

We went there last Sunday after church...12:00noon ..not many customers but it took them 10mins to say hello and get order for beverages..we ordered..it took them 30mins to bring soup out and food came out much later than that...when there aren't many people and the service is so slow..something is wrong...worst P.F.Chang's experience ever..wouldnt never go back. No apology...no letting us know whts going on.they acted like this is normal...no it's not..I will take my business elsewhere. Tom's of other restraints would appreciate business.

I wouldn't even give this PF Chang's a 1 star. I am highly allergic to mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms in the chicken lettuce wraps, no problem right? So the waiter comes back and tells me no, they can not change the recipe. I explain to her every other Chang's restaurant I go to takes the mushrooms and the mushroom sauce out for me. She tells me she's going to get the manager to ask him, and comes back without the manager, tells me he said sorry they can NOT accommodate my allergies! We left, and will never go back to this establishment ever again!

Second time coming here. (I'm actually still in my seat waiting on dessert). It's a pretty busy Saturday night - not to mention there's a homecoming in town (Morgan State University! #proudalumni) so our wait was suppose to be 45-50 minutes but ended up being 10 (SWEET!) This is not my first time at a P.F. Changs, but it is my first time at this location. I came to Towson Mall for some last minute shopping. Upon entering the garage, I spotted the sign for this restaurant. I suggested it to my boyfriend. He had yet eaten at one. It was a little confusing trying to get in (I was convinced there was a mall entered a, but could not find it). The revolving door was smaller than normal, but then again my boyfriend and I insisted on both entering at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful! Dim lighting with candle center pieces. Very romantic. We ordered the meal for two (a four course meal for two persons for $40). The food was AMAZING! Our server Alexa was very attentive and made note of my boyfriends allergy to mushrooms. I ordered a bottle of Jam Jar (suggested by Alexa) and it complimented my food choice. I work in a very high traffic casino at a famous chef's restaurant. I understand the standards of service that a guest should receive. I have to say I was impressed and would definitely return. Also, I noticed a gentleman (who i pressured to be of management) get on his hands and knees to pick up trash under a table. He also "got his hands dirty" and was helping bus tables. This is what I like to see, team work. Ok I'll hush now, but bravo on your establishment.

I like this place for good and consistent Chinese style food. It's definitely a chain and you can pretty much get the same thing here as in another location, so when I'm craving a specific PF Chang's dish, I know what to expect. If you're trying to eat healthier, opt for the brown rice. I didn't realize it was an option until a great server told me about it. The nice thing is that you can specify what you would like to see in your dish whether it is a substitution to adding or lessening spice.

I am a great fan of PF Changs; howver, it took a while for us to be seated even though it appeared that the restaurant was a little on the empty side. This location's food was a tad bit salty...okay, well it was a lot salty. We both got the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I am not sure if they got carried away with using soy sauce or if they really made it that salty. The sever was friendly a little on the slow side, but friendly. The restaurant was not full but it seemed like it took forever to get our food (over an hour). My husband got the Singapore street noodles with chicken and he couldn't even find the chicken.I'm sure it was hiding in there somewhere. I guess the chicken was avoiding the salt too! When we finally got it we really didn't to have a chance to eat it because we had to leave and go somewhere else...so much for lunch!!!!

Food is still good just lower quality atmosphere, presentation could be better, lettuce wrap leafs were no bigger than the palm of your hands....stuff like that. Wonderful outdoor patio offered a lovely space to try some new dishes. Orange ginger edamame, shrimp steamed dumplings, walnut prawns with fresh, honeydew melon balls, strawberry-cucumber-limeade. What an awesome place! View from patio during sunset was really lovely. One of the better patio views in Towson.

Came in for an early lunch on 7/4 at 11:12a and we were the 1st people to arrive at the restaurant on this 4th holiday. We were greeted by the hostess and I asked if we were too early. She retorted, "why would you ask that? What do you mean? We open at 11a every day." I stopped her and noted - "clearly I didn't know what time you opened." I'm thinking - why is this woman so adversarial? I'm a customer? Why should she admonish me for my question? W The Food at PF's was just alright. Came here on Saturday for lunch. The place is almost empty. The waitress is nice and attentive. But I sense that she is a little disappointed that we only ordered from the lunch menu. We got asian salmon and brocolli with beef. The portion size is somewhat small. The salmon may be slightly bland and the the beef is a little too sweet. The soup is too sour. But overall flavor is pretty good.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend tonight. I'm convinced he suggested this place solely due to his love of their egg drop soup, which he couldn't stop talking about. We started with sparkling sake, which was delicious and tasted just like champagne, steamed dumplings, crab wontons, spring rolls and, of course, egg drop soup. The egg drop soup really is remarkable; creamy and hearty. I would have preferred a soy ginger sauce with the dumplings rather than the chili sauce they came with. The crab wontons are perfection. Spring rolls were fresh and came with a delicious tangy sauce. For our mains, he went orange peel chicken and I crispy honey chicken. Mine was a bit bland but had a nice flavor. The crispy noodles add a fun textural element. His orange chicken was incredible. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. Bonus: we made a reservation and were seated at the exact time of our reservation. We will definitely be coming back.

Came here on a Saturday night, with a reservation, for a special occasion. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This wouldn't have been an issue, but there were plenty of empty tables and a handful of tables waiting to be bused. The service here was really in the top 10 for worst service at a restaurant. Our server never introduced himself and wasn't attentive at all. We had to wait forever to put our order in and even longer to receive our food. Food was cold when it came out, who knows how long it had been ready. He didn't come back at all to check how everything was. No drink refills because we couldn't find him to ask. After ordering we dessert waited 10 minutes for forks and ended up taking the place settings from one of the unused tables before everything got even colder. The food was fine, the service was seriously subpar. There are better restaurants (and PF Changs) in the area to subject myself to this type of service again.

Been avoiding this place like the plague...chain food when so many odd little greasy Chinese joints abound, why bother? But we had a retirement party to attend, so, gave it a shot! Not bad- high quality ingredients - better than most Chinese carry-outs; appropriate saucing; but sauces were mostly sugar-based, with a bit of soy- pleasant but bland. All the chicken dishes tasted pretty identical, just garnished differently. Same for shrimp and beef. Just sweet and soy-ish. For any real spice, I had to chew the whole dried cayennes in the kung pao chicken. Appetizers were hit or miss- spring rolls were oddly bland. Crab wontons and dynmatie shrimp were good- the crab esp. better than typical carry out, had actual crab in it! Soups were good- almost 100% standard Chinese carry out. Atmosphere was clean, nicely decorated. Service was friendly..but sooooo slow. Also wish they had plain black tea as a selection from their tea menu. Overall-- OK. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. I much prefer the ghetto China Wok by North Avenue. The chicken isn't as high quality, but the sauces are full of garlic and chilies, and have that toasty wok flavor. But if you enjoy slightly salty sweetened white meat chicken in a corporate-clean atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

Not a fan of chains...but a visit to Towson University and a need for nourishment forced me to visit P F Changs. We had to put an APB out on our server; but once located she did meet our basic needs. MD temperatures were below freezing...I opted for the Chicken soup, egg rolls and the ginger beer...the soup was surprising well made with a depth of spiciness that I enjoyed along with the nicely made egg rolls (skip the accompanying super sweet sauce). I drained that ginger beer...and appreciated the cute slice of crystallized ginger in my glass. My lunch mates had honey chicken and another chicken dish (we don't know the name of it because it was not what we ordered!) Good option for Towson University visitors.

We ate here on Sunday and it was my first visit to a P.F Chang's. The outside looked nice and we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar seating area. I did notice that despite the fact the the restaurant was not very busy that the floor was dirty. Service was good and there were allot of good looking items on the menu. We opted for the dinner for 2. We go hot and sour soup and although it looked very savory the soup was hot but was very sweet. The fried dumpling appetizer was very good. My son got moo goo gai pan which he said was good and I got kung pao chicken which was cooked to death it was so dry it was hard to eat. When I went to the restroom they use the hallway for chair storage which seems odd and i had to move a chair to go down the hall. I had high expectations but all in all i think the food in your typical food court Chinese restaurant is much better.

Dined here on Christmas Day and didn't even need a reservation. Only place open in the area so we couldn't get through the mall to go into the restaurant. We ended up walking completely around to the other side which was bothersome in below 30 degree weather. Once there we were sat and waited on right away. We had a very attentive server but the speed of the food from back of house was another story., Soup and appetizer came out very quickly but the main dish seemed like it took forever. Some dishes seem very large while others very small. The food tasted good, don't get me wrong, but i still have tasted better from cheap Chinese food places and have gotten much more for my buck. I think you are mostly paying for ambiance and service here, even though the speed of the food coming out wasn't too great either. The restaurant itself is beautiful but honestly I don't see the experience being worth what I paid. Over $70 for two people and that's just using the pirx fixe menu. This is good for that rare occasion or a date but not for your typical dining experience.

I went there for lunch today, and, seriously? The service was AWFUL! The server would drop things off at the table and disappear before I could ask for something else. There were maybe two other tables in the restaurant, and I watched him chat with the table behind us at length. Meanwhile, we waited for drink refills so long, my friend had to call the manager over to get refills. It probably took 40 minutes to receive our food- for two people! I don't think we saw our waiter that entire time. There were no explanations or apologies. And, when we passed the manager on the way out, there was no, "how was everything?" Or even a goodbye or thank you. The chicken soup was delicious, but luckily there are other p.f. Chang's with good service in the area! This seems to be a consistent problem at this location, perhaps corporate needs to take notice....

The crab wontons are amazing and their spicy plum sauce puts Cheesecake Factory wontons to shame. My bf and I go to the white flint Changs all the time, but yesterday we were in Towson. Our waiter was friendly and informative. He told us what each sauce and oil was, and told us which ones were spicy and which ones were not. We were very impressed. He was quick with the food, and when he noticed that I barely ate my green tea noodles (way too salty) he took them off the bill without me even asking! Then dessert. He explained every single dessert in detail. I was sad to see that the SMore mini dessert is gone, but I tried the chocolate dome for the first time and it was sooo satisfying. We got our fortune cookies, and we didn't like our fortunes. He told us that he knew that the fortunes sometimes suck, so he gave us a bag of fortune cookies to go so we could find a better fortune. The best service I have had in years, we tipped over 20%. =)))

I love PF Changs in general, but the Towson location has got to be my favorite because of the wonderful staff. The first time I went was a few years ago while I was in college, and we had a very friendly and attentive server. I thought we just got lucky that day, but every time I've returned (been there about 8 times now) we've had equally exceptional servers. My favorite thing to order is the Crispy Honey Shrimp, but the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Lettuce wraps, and all the desserts are also fantastic. The flavors are not always what you would expect; I'd consider the fare Asian-fusion, but they are great at what they do, and I always leave satisfied. Don't go here expecting authentic fare, but do go expecting to leave with happy taste-buds.

I was shopping in the Towson area and was excited to accidently stumble upon the PF Changs. The location is a bit unfortunate as it is out of the actual shopping center, but perhaps as things evolve that will not be a large issue. I was there on a Saturday night, and the wait was 35-45 minutes for 2 which I found reasonable. We were seated promptly (only after 25 minutes). I have eaten at PF Changs in other locales, and so I am not newbie to the restaurant, but my dining companion was. Our server was attentive, prompt, and articulate, and did a nice job of explaning the sauces, entrees, etc. to my friend. We dined off the 'for two' menu and everything was excellent. We started with hot and sour soup and vegetable dumplings, and then we ordered mongolian beef and dali chicken for our entrees, and dessert was tiramisu and red velvet cake minis. The food was fresh, flavorful, the correct temperature and timed well (in reference to timing of presentation). The waitstaff advised us the dali chicken was the spiciest dish the restaurant offered, and although it had a nice flavor, I did not really perceive what I would consider true heat. Price was reasonable, only $45 pre tip, and I would most definitely return. Please be warned however, that caloric values for all dishes (even the vegetarian ones or the steamed ones) are high, and this will be a diet buster meal. Our meal per person was nearly 2400 calories. A nice and tasty splurge.

If I could I would give this location no stars. This was the first and last time I will come this PF Changs located at Towson Mall. My brother and I had an okay meal. The dynamite shrimp was cold and did not have the best presentation as we've experienced before. Also, the customer service in general and specifically from our waiter was not great. This definitely was not the best experience at a PF Changs location. After our meal we realized we lost our credit card. When we called the credit card company to cancel the account we found out there was a large amount charged to the card. Obviously a fraud charge when one loses the card. To my surprise when I called PF Changs to check if we forgot it there, the manager said yes!! I'm appalled to think that someone from that establishment was the one who took advantage of a customer who forgot their card. Would not recommend this location.

Dined here last night with friends and service was great UNTIL I found a ROCK in my noodle dish. A ROCK! I was eating a rock and now possibly have a cracked tooth thanks to P F Chang's in Towson. Once the manager came out to look at the rock he told me everything is made fresh. Are you kidding me? The manager was very rude to me and was giving me an attitude. He told me that he would take care of my dinner like that is a question. I am absolutely mortified with this chain and level of service on management's role. I also contacted the the Operating Partner by email and by telephone and still no response. I will make sure corporate is aware of this problem. The only person I can say was polite and apologized was our waitress I believe her name was Jennifer. She played the manager role better then the manager on duty. I could have chocked and the manager did not seem to care what so ever. I am lost for words on how I was treated. I am not a product, I am a HUMAN who wanted to eat dinner peacefully with my friends. P F Chang's in Towson is a complete faliure to my care.

The first time when I went to PF Chang, I ordered the firecracker shrimp and I was in awe. Till this day, that was the most amazing shrimp-related appetizer I have ever had in my entire life. Of course I went back there for more, and the second time when I was there (only less than 1 month apart), I ordered the firecracker shrimp again and expected that they were just as good as the first time, but eh-eh, that dish was not half as good as my first experience. So I thought the chef just had a bad day. However, when the fourth time I dined there and the food was nothing but mediocre, I gave up. That was 2 years ago, and I wish someday I will be able to taste the perfectly done firecracker shrimp one more time...

The food here is great! A bit on the pricey side but nothing unexpected. Usually when I come here I get the Dinner for Two Deal which is great considering all the delicious food you get. Portion sizes can be a bit small but I mostly excuse it because the taste makes up for it. Egg Drop Soup, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken and the Crab Fried Rice are definite favorites between friends and I. And their Great Wall of Chocolate is absolutely amazing! The slice we got was huge as well. The raspberry sauce they use for it is absolutely scrumptious I couldnt help myself to more of it. Wait staff is a hit or miss depending on who you get. Service is usually agreeable but once or twice I had a waiter/tress who forgot about us and/or rushed us to order.

For what it is (an affordable large chain restaurant) PF Chang is a great option for larger parties. I made reservations for a party of ten in advance and we had a great experience. Due to a storm we were a half hour late and they welcomed us without any trouble. The service in general was really was made our evening. Everything was seamless and the staff anticipated our every need. Our amazing server made the best menu suggestions, including having us order the right amount of appetizers. Glasses were never empty, and all needs were met without fail. He even allowed my sister to enjoy her alcohol-free wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. I'd go back with a large party in a heartbeat. I wish there had been an inside entrance from the mall given the bad weather, but that's not bad if that's all I can complain about. Yummy food, warm atmosphere, good prices and great service. You can't go wrong.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because we had a charming waitress. But the food here is really poorly prepared and chock full of sodium!. I would have had a better Chinese meal at Panda express!. Where to start?. First we had the crunchy green beans. They were neither crunchy( supposed to be deep fried) or fresh. Instead they were oil soaked soggy green beans. 2nd course was the pan fried potstickers filled with shrimp. These would have been fine if the chef had laid off the salt which overwhelmed the dish!. For our entrees we had the honey chicken and orange chicken. These were mediocre at beet. But at least they were edible. For dessert we had the mini portion of the chocolate tower and cheesecake. The desserts were bland. Sara lee would have tasted better. Oh well serves me right for going to a western chain restaurant for Chinese food!.

It was a cold Saturday morning, and we were close to Towson Mall; we decided to head to P.F. Changs for some warm soup. We were the first ones there and had a warm welcome. We ordered the wonton soup as an appetizer and many different entrees, including chow mein and Kung pao shrimp. It took a good 20 mins. for the soup to come out after ordering. The people around us, who arrived after us because we were first, got their appetizers before we did! The soup was lukewarm, rather than hot. So that was a negative. Although, the kindness of the staff made up for the late wonton soup. The noodles were great as well as the shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken "to go" for my brother at home. Once home, we gave him the food; it tasted and smelled like airplane food. That's no bueno. There was way too much sauce rather than meat. And the rice was too soggy because of the abundance of sauce. I'd only go back there for the great staff and the good chow mein.

This was my worst PFC experience, anywhere. I was with my sister, who'd never had P.F. Chang's- so I suggested we try it out. I've been to a lot of PFC's in other states and I've always had (consistently) good food. I was really disappointed here, for a few reasons...our appetizers (crab wontons and steamed veggie dumplings) were cold. Our entrees (veggie lo mein and chicken w/veggies/white sauce-forgot the name) were also cold. It was the worst lo mein I've ever had- besides being cold, it was gummy and had no flavor. We tried to order drinks, when our entrees arrived, but we were told that the bar was closed- this was 30 min. before the restaurant was going to stop serving and we were never told that the bar was closing early. I hate going to restaurants right before closing, but when I looked online, it showed we had an hour...maybe they closed early because it was slow, but it would have been nice to have been given the option to order while we still had a chance. I wouldn't go back, but our server was nice and so was the food runner.

Undoubtably PF Changs is the "olive garden" of Chinese food. Not authentic by any means, but still 'effin delicious! I've been several times for birthdays, bachelorette dinners, dates or lunch with mom and every time it's the same experience - a wait to be seated, good food, a bit pricey and a bomb diggity key-lime pie martini (note: do NOT skip the key-lime pie martini) I've had several of the dishes at PF Changs and they are really really good - for appetizers, the crab wontons are fantastic, and so are the lettuce wraps. Nom nom nom! For the main course the honey walnut shrimp is off the hook and so is the buddha bowl. For desert they have these little mini shots of different cakes - chocolate, strawberry, key-lime. All good. Basically to sum up PF Changs - it is a chain. And the food is good. But slightly pricey. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy it.

I visited pf changs earlier today had the chicken fried rice and spicy changs chicken. Three hours later I was throwing it all up. That food made me so sick. I will never return to this restaurant. I called the restaurant to tell the manager of how sick I got and maybe there was something bad in the food. Her response was it takes 24 hours for a food borne illness to take effect which is not true.

I echo many of the other reviews. If you are looking for a best Chinese food around, head over to the Szechuan House in Lutherville. PF Changs is my preferred business Chinese place. The service and food quality are predictable. Fortunately, I have always had crispy green beans that were crispy. I like pineapple juice for lunch and when I order it, I request a water glass sized drink. Since this is a business expense, I don't care about paying a few dollars more. Occasionally though, I get a small glass (annoying) or juice which has turned south. I usually order the Kung Pao Scallops with brown rice, and it is the same no matter which location I order from. I did have one bizarre customer service experience though. Since I am a regular, I was approached by a manager and encouraged to sign up for their loyalty program. I figured he'd get brownie points and they were a decent place, so I filled out the form at the table. They gave me a 'happy cat' card on the spot. A week later, another 'happy cat' card came in the mail. They had different numbers on the back. The next time I went to P.F. Changs, I put both into the billfold along with my credit card and receipt. I had no idea what to expect. The waiter came back and said neither of the 'happy cat' cards were valid, nor was there any kind of reward, and that the 'happy cat' cards were being discontinued. Bizarre, eh? So I contacted their customer support. They apologized and repeated what the waiter told me and said they have a new loyalty card, the 'stern warrior'. She said they are still trying to figure this 'loyalty thing' out (it sounds to me like learning how to drive a car while it is going down the highway). I could fill out another form and they would send the 'stern warrior' to me. Weird, huh? So I did. The 'stern warrior' card arrived and I used it my next time at PF Changs. Guess what? No reward. I told the waiter my experiences and he brought us a free dessert. After that, I have been back about six times. Each time, I get 10% off on my check.

Man this was one hell of a experience in restaurant hell. We went here for a friend's birthday with about 10 other friends on a busy Friday night. The average age of the servers is around 18. I could tell you about the food (tasteless) and the service (slow and inaccurate) but why bother. I have something better. The waiter walks out of the kitchen at about 45 MPH with a full tray of food. He stops at our table and, you guessed it, everything flies off the tray and onto our table. Broken glass everywhere, including one friend's eye and in our already-served food (btw, about 20 minutes before this, another waiter dropped a tray of glasses across the room). They, including 2 managers, apologize and say they will discount our bill for the inconvenience. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they did NOT discount anything. I felt bad for the kid so I didn't bother calling for a refund or complaining to corporate. I was a waiter back in the day and I know you feel like dog doo for days after mishaps like that. BUT, we will never go back.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy so we went to the bar area. There was a young lady (assumed to be the manager) doing something at the register with her back to us and 3 other guests at the bar. She never acknowledged us or greeted us, finished her work and left the bar, now no staff was there. After a while 4 more guests sat at the bar, so went to the hostess and inquired where the bartender was, and she informed me there would be one there soon. A gentleman did show up at the bar, but he appeared to be the only bartender on duty and he was also the waiter for all the tables in the bar area. One of the couples got up to get a table in the dining room but were informed that it would be a 35 minute wait so they left. We quickly realized that this would not be a memorable evening at Chang's so we followed their lead. The ironic thing was that my wife had been there the day before at lunch and had a similar experience and the bartender that day handed out coupons to apologize for the poor experience. It would seem like Chang's would be better off to fix the peoblem, maybe put some staff on rather than hand out coupons.

Our experience was much better then some based on these reviews. Someone said the food was tasteless, to that person I would see a Dr because there may be something wrong with your tastebuds. I would accept someone saying it was not good but tasteless? I sampled all 4 meals of our dining party and they were all excellent. I would agree with the one reviewer that there is a lot of sodium in the dishes and they would have been better with less, hense the 4 stars. The soups were excellent with a real chicken broth, the lettuce wraps were good, great spring rolls (not the skinny kind you get at the local takeout joint). I am not a dessert fan but we got the fried bannanas with icecream, let me just say that I cleaned the plate and I was full before I even got to the dessert. The staff was great, no waiting, food came out on time and hot, fresh. My only suggestion is to use less sodium and I do not say this for health reasons, I do not go out to eat to be healthy, but the dishes do not need that much sodium to taste good...less is more sometimes. Overall we had a great experience. My dining buddies ate at several PF Changs in other locations and this one rates with the rest according to them..

This is the only PF Chang's I've been to, and I've only gone once, during the day. There was only one other couple there. The food was good, and I can only expect it's what you would get at any restaurant. Our server was nice, and the restaurant is very pretty and modern looking. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Not impressed at all. I've had many people tell me how delicious P.F. Chang's is and how authentic it is. Unfortunately, I've had much, much better Chinese food at simple hole-in-the-wall restaurants than here. I got the Singaporean Rice Noodles and it was O.K.; not the best not the worst. At every Chinese restaurant we go to, we always try the hot and sour soup. It's one of my favorite soups and I wasn't impressed with P.F. Chang's. It was watered down and just boring. More sour than hot. I don't think I'd spend the money to go back here. I have to say, I'm a little relieved that Yelp reflects how my experience was. I was beginning to think maybe I was crazy!

Given that my boyfriend and I had never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, we thought we'd go try it out. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty for a weekend night - that should have been our first indication to leave and head the T.G.I Friday's instead. Our server was well-spoken enough, but sort of abandoned us half-way through the meal, leaving our glasses unfilled and making us wait 20 or so minutes after we were done just to flag him down for the bill. [It seemed he was too busy paying attention to the bigger parties and sort of just let the two of us fall by the wayside.] The food was... mediocre. I had the mapo tofu which was made of crispy tofu cubes in place of the normal silken tofu. My boyfriend had the sweet & sour pork which he described as fried fatty bits of meat. [It also had finely chopped pieces of ginger which can't really be picked out so watch out for those.] Rice (white or brown) comes with all entrees and can't be substituted. The best thing of the evening was the spring rolls we had as an appetizer. I regret listening to the waiter and getting an entree instead of the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. If you come here, stick with the appetizers - they're your safest bet. Also, I found it amusing that the server emphasized serving dishes in a "family-style" manner in an attempt to appear more like an authentic Chinese restaurant. They try so hard, but they'll always be the Olive Garden of Chinese restaurants.

I like P.F. Chang's and am delighted that they have opened a location in Towson. The food is Chinese, but with unusual twists that people either love or hate depending on their attachment to more traditional "Chinese" dishes found in American restaurants. A perfect example would be the crab wontons. Traditional? No way. Superb? In my opinion, yes. I really like that brown rice is an option and that they have a real wine list. In terms of prices, appetizer and dinner for two without alcohol will run you $40-60. They do have a more economical lunch menu that I have not tried. I have only been to this location for lunch so far and have avoided the lines that one usually finds at P.F. Chang's in other locations. I do wonder whether this unit will survive its awful location. Technically, it is part of the Towson Town Mall, but there is no way to get to it without exiting the mall. The only entrance is on the corner of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmont Avenue. One has to park in one of the mall garages and leave the mall either by Cheesecake Factory or TGI Fridays and then walk to the corner to get in.

My friend came to visit and said, "I must have P.F. Chang's." I did enjoy that they had a sign by the hostess stand that said, "It's restaurant week every week at P.F. Chang's with our menu." Ha! Anyway, we were seated promptly and our waiter was James. He had a great smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed laughing just as much as we did. My friend did not like her hot and sour soup and he exchanged it for the egg drop soup without a problem. The food was hot and fresh and super delicious. James recommended the mongolian beef and I fell in love. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was superb! We had a really great time. If you go, request James as your waiter! He was great! :)

I've been to PF Chang's a few times at different locations, and this weekend I had lunch at the Towson restaurant for the first time. I ordered the wok seared lamb which was seasoned quite nicely. My issue was the server. I could see other tables being waited on appropiately so it may not be entirely fair to rate the restaurant down for one waitress, but the experience left such a bitter taste that I'll probably never go back there. It seemed like more than 30 minutes between each time we saw our waitress, so the total time from ordering drinks to paying our check was over two and a half hours. In addition, we had a couple with a one year old in our party, and we made it clear that mild expedition would be appreciated. The waitress was nice and well versed in the menu, but lack of presence just ruined the meal because it was all we could think about. If it's not to inconvenient, hit the downtown location or the one in Columbia mall.

A brand new spot tacked on to the new additions at the Towson Town Center. The location looks the same as every other PFC I've been in, but the server staff definitely needs to get in the swing of things. My Fiancee and I were sat on a Tuesday afternoon at a table in an area with one other table and we waited 10 minutes before someone came by to give us water and check in. We ordered the lettuce wraps because normally they are pretty good, when we got them, they cut the lettuce into little discs that made folding them harder since it was all the white of the lettuce that didn't bend too well. The flavor was ok, but it seemed that the portion was smaller than we were used to. We ate without interruption or water refills. After the plate was empty we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for another appearance to get the check to pay, however we didn't get it, so we just put an approximate amount on the table and left. No one chased us down so I assume the amount was correct.

The service at this place absolutely reeks! We made a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night, arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were taken to a table in the dining room. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and walked off leaving my boyfriend, 2-year old son, and I standing there. We stood there waiting for a few minutes and were soon fetched by the hostess and brought back to the waiting area. A few minutes later we were taken back to the original table and sat. At least two other tables were also sat within moments of us sitting down and were waiting on almost immediately. By 6:20pm we still had not been seen by a water to order drinks. Eventually we wave down a waiter and as her what is going on, she assures us that our water will be over shortly. Our water?? Our waiter eventually gets to us, we notice that he was waiting on one of the tables that had been sat after us who was now eating their appetizers! We put in our drink order and ten minutes later we got our requested waters and the baby's juice but not our actual drinks. Finally able to order food. Ordered the Northern Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp for appetizer and the VIP Duck and a pan fried noodle dish for entree. Our appetizers arrive after another absurdly long wait time and a minute later our entrees arrive. After sitting in the restaurant for more than 50 minutes our table was flooded with food. The waiter once again screwed up the rice order and brought us white rice instead of brown and we ended up waiting for that to be corrected. Since our food arrived we were trying to make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the plethora of food in front of us when the waiter comes tableside with to-go boxes and bags. Doesn't ask if we want to see a dessert menu -- we were out celebrating my birthday -- doesn't ask us if we were finished! At that point I was completely over the meal, and told him to pack up our food and bring us the bill immediately. Of course another twenty minutes goes by before we can actually get out of the place. Needless to say, I have no plans on returning to an over-hyped, over-priced, under-staffed chinese food restaurant. It is an absolutely shame I cannot give them 0 stars.

This is not my first time at a P.F. Changs, but it is my first time at this location. I came to Towson Mall for some last minute shopping. Upon entering the garage, I spotted the sign for this restaurant. I suggested it to my boyfriend. He had yet eaten at one. It was a little confusing trying to get in (I was convinced there was a mall entered a, but could not find it). The revolving door was smaller than normal, but then again my boyfriend and I insisted on both entering at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful! Dim lighting with candle center pieces. Very romantic. We ordered the meal for two (a four course meal for two persons for $40). The food was AMAZING! Our server Alexa was very attentive and made note of my boyfriends allergy to mushrooms. I ordered a bottle of Jam Jar (suggested by Alexa) and it complimented my food choice. I work in a very high traffic casino at a famous chef's restaurant. I understand the standards of service that a guest should receive. I have to say I was impressed and would definitely return. Also, I noticed a gentleman (who i pressured to be of management) get on his hands and knees to pick up trash under a table. He also "got his hands dirty" and was helping bus tables. This is what I like to see, team work. Ok I'll hush now, but bravo on your establishment.

Not a fan of chains...but a visit to Towson University and a need for nourishment forced me to visit P F Changs. We had to put an APB out on our server; but once located she did meet our basic needs. MD temperatures were below freezing...I opted for the Chicken soup, egg rolls and the ginger beer...the soup was surprising well made with a depth of spiciness that I enjoyed along with the nicely made egg rolls (skip the accompanying super sweet sauce). I drained that ginger beer...and appreciated the cute slice of crystallized ginger in my glass. My lunch mates had honey chicken and another chicken dish (we don't know the name of it because it was not what we ordered!) Good option for Towson University visitors.

Came here on a Saturday night, with a reservation, for a special occasion. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This wouldn't have been an issue, but there were plenty of empty tables and a handful of tables waiting to be bused. The service here was really in the top 10 for worst service at a restaurant. Our server never introduced himself and wasn't attentive at all. We had to wait forever to put our order in and even longer to receive our food. Food was cold when it came out, who knows how long it had been ready. He didn't come back at all to check how everything was. No drink refills because we couldn't find him to ask. After ordering we dessert waited 10 minutes for forks and ended up taking the place settings from one of the unused tables before everything got even colder. The food was fine, the service was seriously subpar. There are better restaurants (and PF Changs) in the area to subject myself to this type of service again.

Been avoiding this place like the plague...chain food when so many odd little greasy Chinese joints abound, why bother? But we had a retirement party to attend, so, gave it a shot! Not bad- high quality ingredients - better than most Chinese carry-outs; appropriate saucing; but sauces were mostly sugar-based, with a bit of soy- pleasant but bland. All the chicken dishes tasted pretty identical, just garnished differently. Same for shrimp and beef. Just sweet and soy-ish. For any real spice, I had to chew the whole dried cayennes in the kung pao chicken. Appetizers were hit or miss- spring rolls were oddly bland. Crab wontons and dynmatie shrimp were good- the crab esp. better than typical carry out, had actual crab in it! Soups were good- almost 100% standard Chinese carry out. Atmosphere was clean, nicely decorated. Service was friendly..but sooooo slow. Also wish they had plain black tea as a selection from their tea menu. Overall-- OK. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. I much prefer the ghetto China Wok by North Avenue. The chicken isn't as high quality, but the sauces are full of garlic and chilies, and have that toasty wok flavor. But if you enjoy slightly salty sweetened white meat chicken in a corporate-clean atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars right now is because of the takeout guy that we usually deal with...he has dreds and is basically the boss! Now on to tonight...it's 9:00pm and we walk in without a res but I would be fine to wait for a table if the dinning room was full...but it's not full...far from it! There were 24 tables ... Count them 24(!) ... Open and not bused. People waiting at the bar waiting outside in the rain and people sitting inside the door. Mean while the hostess station has 3 girls doing nothing...watching me count the empty tables as they say my wait is 40 minutes! I see why we usually deal with the boss Dreds and not dine in. So sad.

We ate here on Sunday and it was my first visit to a P.F Chang's. The outside looked nice and we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar seating area. I did notice that despite the fact the the restaurant was not very busy that the floor was dirty. Service was good and there were allot of good looking items on the menu. We opted for the dinner for 2. We go hot and sour soup and although it looked very savory the soup was hot but was very sweet. The fried dumpling appetizer was very good. My son got moo goo gai pan which he said was good and I got kung pao chicken which was cooked to death it was so dry it was hard to eat. When I went to the restroom they use the hallway for chair storage which seems odd and i had to move a chair to go down the hall. I had high expectations but all in all i think the food in your typical food court Chinese restaurant is much better.

I am a great fan of PF Changs; howver, it took a while for us to be seated even though it appeared that the restaurant was a little on the empty side. This location's food was a tad bit salty...okay, well it was a lot salty. We both got the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I am not sure if they got carried away with using soy sauce or if they really made it that salty. The sever was friendly a little on the slow side, but friendly. The restaurant was not full but it seemed like it took forever to get our food (over an hour). My husband got the Singapore street noodles with chicken and he couldn't even find the chicken.I'm sure it was hiding in there somewhere. I guess the chicken was avoiding the salt too! When we finally got it we really didn't to have a chance to eat it because we had to leave and go somewhere else...so much for lunch!!!!

Dined here on Christmas Day and didn't even need a reservation. Only place open in the area so we couldn't get through the mall to go into the restaurant. We ended up walking completely around to the other side which was bothersome in below 30 degree weather. Once there we were sat and waited on right away. We had a very attentive server but the speed of the food from back of house was another story., Soup and appetizer came out very quickly but the main dish seemed like it took forever. Some dishes seem very large while others very small. The food tasted good, don't get me wrong, but i still have tasted better from cheap Chinese food places and have gotten much more for my buck. I think you are mostly paying for ambiance and service here, even though the speed of the food coming out wasn't too great either. The restaurant itself is beautiful but honestly I don't see the experience being worth what I paid. Over $70 for two people and that's just using the pirx fixe menu. This is good for that rare occasion or a date but not for your typical dining experience.

I went there for lunch today, and, seriously? The service was AWFUL! The server would drop things off at the table and disappear before I could ask for something else. There were maybe two other tables in the restaurant, and I watched him chat with the table behind us at length. Meanwhile, we waited for drink refills so long, my friend had to call the manager over to get refills. It probably took 40 minutes to receive our food- for two people! I don't think we saw our waiter that entire time. There were no explanations or apologies. And, when we passed the manager on the way out, there was no, "how was everything?" Or even a goodbye or thank you. The chicken soup was delicious, but luckily there are other p.f. Chang's with good service in the area! This seems to be a consistent problem at this location, perhaps corporate needs to take notice....

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend tonight. I'm convinced he suggested this place solely due to his love of their egg drop soup, which he couldn't stop talking about. We started with sparkling sake, which was delicious and tasted just like champagne, steamed dumplings, crab wontons, spring rolls and, of course, egg drop soup. The egg drop soup really is remarkable; creamy and hearty. I would have preferred a soy ginger sauce with the dumplings rather than the chili sauce they came with. The crab wontons are perfection. Spring rolls were fresh and came with a delicious tangy sauce. For our mains, he went orange peel chicken and I crispy honey chicken. Mine was a bit bland but had a nice flavor. The crispy noodles add a fun textural element. His orange chicken was incredible. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. Bonus: we made a reservation and were seated at the exact time of our reservation. We will definitely be coming back.

I was at PF Changs recently and I was befuddled at why the place is always near-empty. Good location, good food, good service, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, it was a great night. My date and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded, which is what we wanted. Dimly light, attentive service, we were happy. It took no time to be seated and it seemed like everyone from the host to the waitress to the manager on duty made a point to come by and ask how did we like everything, were we happy, did we need anything, etc. My date and I did the prix fixe and got hot and sour soup (me), egg drop soup (him), lettuce wraps, mongolian beef (him), crispy honey shrimp (me), and a salted caramel/melted chocolate thing for dessert. I like this place for good and consistent Chinese style food. It's definitely a chain and you can pretty much get the same thing here as in another location, so when I'm craving a specific PF Chang's dish, I know what to expect. If you're trying to eat healthier, opt for the brown rice. I didn't realize it was an option until a great server told me about it. The nice thing is that you can specify what you would like to see in your dish whether it is a substitution to adding or lessening spice.

We went there last Sunday after church...12:00noon ..not many customers but it took them 10mins to say hello and get order for beverages..we ordered..it took them 30mins to bring soup out and food came out much later than that...when there aren't many people and the service is so slow..something is wrong...worst P.F.Chang's experience ever..wouldnt never go back. Given that my boyfriend and I had never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, we thought we'd go try it out. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty for a weekend night - that should have been our first indication to leave and head the T.G.I Friday's instead. Our server was well-spoken enough, but sort of abandoned us half-way through the meal, leaving our glasses unfilled and making us wait 20 or so minutes after we were done just to flag him down for the bill. [It seemed he was too busy paying attention to the bigger parties and sort of just let the two of us fall by the wayside.] The food was... mediocre. I had the mapo tofu which was made of crispy tofu cubes in place of the normal silken tofu. My boyfriend had the sweet & sour pork which he described as fried fatty bits of meat. [It also had finely chopped pieces of ginger which can't really be picked out so watch out for those.] Rice (white or brown) comes with all entrees and can't be substituted. The best thing of the evening was the spring rolls we had as an appetizer. I regret listening to the waiter and getting an entree instead of the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. If you come here, stick with the appetizers - they're your safest bet. Also, I found it amusing that the server emphasized serving dishes in a "family-style" manner in an attempt to appear more like an authentic Chinese restaurant. They try so hard, but they'll always be the Olive Garden of Chinese restaurants.

I wouldn't even give this PF Chang's a 1 star. I am highly allergic to mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms in the chicken lettuce wraps, no problem right? So the waiter comes back and tells me no, they can not change the recipe. I explain to her every other Chang's restaurant I go to takes the mushrooms and the mushroom sauce out for me. She tells me she's going to get the manager to ask him, and comes back without the manager, tells me he said sorry they can NOT accommodate my allergies! We left, and will never go back to this establishment ever again!

Dined here last night with friends and service was great UNTIL I found a ROCK in my noodle dish. A ROCK! I was eating a rock and now possibly have a cracked tooth thanks to P F Chang's in Towson. Once the manager came out to look at the rock he told me everything is made fresh. Are you kidding me? The manager was very rude to me and was giving me an attitude. He told me that he would take care of my dinner like that is a question. I am absolutely mortified with this chain and level of service on management's role. I also contacted the the Operating Partner by email and by telephone and still no response. I will make sure corporate is aware of this problem. The only person I can say was polite and apologized was our waitress I believe her name was Jennifer. She played the manager role better then the manager on duty. I could have chocked and the manager did not seem to care what so ever. I am lost for words on how I was treated. I am not a product, I am a HUMAN who wanted to eat dinner peacefully with my friends. P F Chang's in Towson is a complete faliure to my care.

The first time when I went to PF Chang, I ordered the firecracker shrimp and I was in awe. Till this day, that was the most amazing shrimp-related appetizer I have ever had in my entire life. Of course I went back there for more, and the second time when I was there (only less than 1 month apart), I ordered the firecracker shrimp again and expected that they were just as good as the first time, but eh-eh, that dish was not half as good as my first experience. So I thought the chef just had a bad day. However, when the fourth time I dined there and the food was nothing but mediocre, I gave up. That was 2 years ago, and I wish someday I will be able to taste the perfectly done firecracker shrimp one more time...

The food here is great! A bit on the pricey side but nothing unexpected. Usually when I come here I get the Dinner for Two Deal which is great considering all the delicious food you get. Portion sizes can be a bit small but I mostly excuse it because the taste makes up for it. Egg Drop Soup, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken and the Crab Fried Rice are definite favorites between friends and I. And their Great Wall of Chocolate is absolutely amazing! The slice we got was huge as well. The raspberry sauce they use for it is absolutely scrumptious I couldnt help myself to more of it. Wait staff is a hit or miss depending on who you get. Service is usually agreeable but once or twice I had a waiter/tress who forgot about us and/or rushed us to order.

For what it is (an affordable large chain restaurant) PF Chang is a great option for larger parties. I made reservations for a party of ten in advance and we had a great experience. Due to a storm we were a half hour late and they welcomed us without any trouble. The service in general was really was made our evening. Everything was seamless and the staff anticipated our every need. Our amazing server made the best menu suggestions, including having us order the right amount of appetizers. Glasses were never empty, and all needs were met without fail. He even allowed my sister to enjoy her alcohol-free wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. I'd go back with a large party in a heartbeat. I wish there had been an inside entrance from the mall given the bad weather, but that's not bad if that's all I can complain about. Yummy food, warm atmosphere, good prices and great service. You can't go wrong.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because we had a charming waitress. But the food here is really poorly prepared and chock full of sodium!. I would have had a better Chinese meal at Panda express!. Where to start?. First we had the crunchy green beans. They were neither crunchy( supposed to be deep fried) or fresh. Instead they were oil soaked soggy green beans. 2nd course was the pan fried potstickers filled with shrimp. These would have been fine if the chef had laid off the salt which overwhelmed the dish!. For our entrees we had the honey chicken and orange chicken. These were mediocre at beet. But at least they were edible. For dessert we had the mini portion of the chocolate tower and cheesecake. The desserts were bland. Sara lee would have tasted better. Oh well serves me right for going to a western chain restaurant for Chinese food!.

This is the only PF Chang's I've been to, and I've only gone once, during the day. There was only one other couple there. The food was good, and I can only expect it's what you would get at any restaurant. Our server was nice, and the restaurant is very pretty and modern looking. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

I visited pf changs earlier today had the chicken fried rice and spicy changs chicken. Three hours later I was throwing it all up. That food made me so sick. I will never return to this restaurant. I called the restaurant to tell the manager of how sick I got and maybe there was something bad in the food. Her response was it takes 24 hours for a food borne illness to take effect which is not true.

It was a cold Saturday morning, and we were close to Towson Mall; we decided to head to P.F. Changs for some warm soup. We were the first ones there and had a warm welcome. We ordered the wonton soup as an appetizer and many different entrees, including chow mein and Kung pao shrimp. It took a good 20 mins. for the soup to come out after ordering. The people around us, who arrived after us because we were first, got their appetizers before we did! The soup was lukewarm, rather than hot. So that was a negative. Although, the kindness of the staff made up for the late wonton soup. The noodles were great as well as the shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken "to go" for my brother at home. Once home, we gave him the food; it tasted and smelled like airplane food. That's no bueno. There was way too much sauce rather than meat. And the rice was too soggy because of the abundance of sauce. I'd only go back there for the great staff and the good chow mein.

This was my worst PFC experience, anywhere. I was with my sister, who'd never had P.F. Chang's- so I suggested we try it out. I've been to a lot of PFC's in other states and I've always had (consistently) good food. I was really disappointed here, for a few reasons...our appetizers (crab wontons and steamed veggie dumplings) were cold. Our entrees (veggie lo mein and chicken w/veggies/white sauce-forgot the name) were also cold. It was the worst lo mein I've ever had- besides being cold, it was gummy and had no flavor. We tried to order drinks, when our entrees arrived, but we were told that the bar was closed- this was 30 min. before the restaurant was going to stop serving and we were never told that the bar was closing early. I hate going to restaurants right before closing, but when I looked online, it showed we had an hour...maybe they closed early because it was slow, but it would have been nice to have been given the option to order while we still had a chance. I wouldn't go back, but our server was nice and so was the food runner.

Undoubtably PF Changs is the "olive garden" of Chinese food. Not authentic by any means, but still 'effin delicious! I've been several times for birthdays, bachelorette dinners, dates or lunch with mom and every time it's the same experience - a wait to be seated, good food, a bit pricey and a bomb diggity key-lime pie martini (note: do NOT skip the key-lime pie martini) I've had several of the dishes at PF Changs and they are really really good - for appetizers, the crab wontons are fantastic, and so are the lettuce wraps. Nom nom nom! For the main course the honey walnut shrimp is off the hook and so is the buddha bowl. For desert they have these little mini shots of different cakes - chocolate, strawberry, key-lime. All good. Basically to sum up PF Changs - it is a chain. And the food is good. But slightly pricey. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy it.

I echo many of the other reviews. If you are looking for a best Chinese food around, head over to the Szechuan House in Lutherville. PF Changs is my preferred business Chinese place. The service and food quality are predictable. Fortunately, I have always had crispy green beans that were crispy. I like pineapple juice for lunch and when I order it, I request a water glass sized drink. Since this is a business expense, I don't care about paying a few dollars more. Occasionally though, I get a small glass (annoying) or juice which has turned south. I usually order the Kung Pao Scallops with brown rice, and it is the same no matter which location I order from. I did have one bizarre customer service experience though. Since I am a regular, I was approached by a manager and encouraged to sign up for their loyalty program. I figured he'd get brownie points and they were a decent place, so I filled out the form at the table. They gave me a 'happy cat' card on the spot. A week later, another 'happy cat' card came in the mail. They had different numbers on the back. The next time I went to P.F. Changs, I put both into the billfold along with my credit card and receipt. I had no idea what to expect. The waiter came back and said neither of the 'happy cat' cards were valid, nor was there any kind of reward, and that the 'happy cat' cards were being discontinued. Bizarre, eh? So I contacted their customer support. They apologized and repeated what the waiter told me and said they have a new loyalty card, the 'stern warrior'. She said they are still trying to figure this 'loyalty thing' out (it sounds to me like learning how to drive a car while it is going down the highway). I could fill out another form and they would send the 'stern warrior' to me. Weird, huh? So I did. The 'stern warrior' card arrived and I used it my next time at PF Changs. Guess what? No reward. I told the waiter my experiences and he brought us a free dessert. After that, I have been back about six times. Each time, I get 10% off on my check.

Not impressed at all. I've had many people tell me how delicious P.F. Chang's is and how authentic it is. Unfortunately, I've had much, much better Chinese food at simple hole-in-the-wall restaurants than here. I got the Singaporean Rice Noodles and it was O.K.; not the best not the worst. At every Chinese restaurant we go to, we always try the hot and sour soup. It's one of my favorite soups and I wasn't impressed with P.F. Chang's. It was watered down and just boring. More sour than hot. I don't think I'd spend the money to go back here. I have to say, I'm a little relieved that Yelp reflects how my experience was. I was beginning to think maybe I was crazy!

Man this was one hell of a experience in restaurant hell. We went here for a friend's birthday with about 10 other friends on a busy Friday night. The average age of the servers is around 18. I could tell you about the food (tasteless) and the service (slow and inaccurate) but why bother. I have something better. The waiter walks out of the kitchen at about 45 MPH with a full tray of food. He stops at our table and, you guessed it, everything flies off the tray and onto our table. Broken glass everywhere, including one friend's eye and in our already-served food (btw, about 20 minutes before this, another waiter dropped a tray of glasses across the room). They, including 2 managers, apologize and say they will discount our bill for the inconvenience. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they did NOT discount anything. I felt bad for the kid so I didn't bother calling for a refund or complaining to corporate. I was a waiter back in the day and I know you feel like dog doo for days after mishaps like that. BUT, we will never go back.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy so we went to the bar area. There was a young lady (assumed to be the manager) doing something at the register with her back to us and 3 other guests at the bar. She never acknowledged us or greeted us, finished her work and left the bar, now no staff was there. After a while 4 more guests sat at the bar, so went to the hostess and inquired where the bartender was, and she informed me there would be one there soon. A gentleman did show up at the bar, but he appeared to be the only bartender on duty and he was also the waiter for all the tables in the bar area. One of the couples got up to get a table in the dining room but were informed that it would be a 35 minute wait so they left. We quickly realized that this would not be a memorable evening at Chang's so we followed their lead. The ironic thing was that my wife had been there the day before at lunch and had a similar experience and the bartender that day handed out coupons to apologize for the poor experience. It would seem like Chang's would be better off to fix the peoblem, maybe put some staff on rather than hand out coupons.

Our experience was much better then some based on these reviews. Someone said the food was tasteless, to that person I would see a Dr because there may be something wrong with your tastebuds. I would accept someone saying it was not good but tasteless? I sampled all 4 meals of our dining party and they were all excellent. I would agree with the one reviewer that there is a lot of sodium in the dishes and they would have been better with less, hense the 4 stars. The soups were excellent with a real chicken broth, the lettuce wraps were good, great spring rolls (not the skinny kind you get at the local takeout joint). I am not a dessert fan but we got the fried bannanas with icecream, let me just say that I cleaned the plate and I was full before I even got to the dessert. The staff was great, no waiting, food came out on time and hot, fresh. My only suggestion is to use less sodium and I do not say this for health reasons, I do not go out to eat to be healthy, but the dishes do not need that much sodium to taste good...less is more sometimes. Overall we had a great experience. My dining buddies ate at several PF Changs in other locations and this one rates with the rest according to them..

The crab wontons are amazing and their spicy plum sauce puts Cheesecake Factory wontons to shame. My bf and I go to the white flint Changs all the time, but yesterday we were in Towson. Our waiter was friendly and informative. He told us what each sauce and oil was, and told us which ones were spicy and which ones were not. We were very impressed. He was quick with the food, and when he noticed that I barely ate my green tea noodles (way too salty) he took them off the bill without me even asking! Then dessert. He explained every single dessert in detail. I was sad to see that the SMore mini dessert is gone, but I tried the chocolate dome for the first time and it was sooo satisfying. We got our fortune cookies, and we didn't like our fortunes. He told us that he knew that the fortunes sometimes suck, so he gave us a bag of fortune cookies to go so we could find a better fortune. The best service I have had in years, we tipped over 20%. =)))

I love PF Changs in general, but the Towson location has got to be my favorite because of the wonderful staff. The first time I went was a few years ago while I was in college, and we had a very friendly and attentive server. I thought we just got lucky that day, but every time I've returned (been there about 8 times now) we've had equally exceptional servers. My favorite thing to order is the Crispy Honey Shrimp, but the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Lettuce wraps, and all the desserts are also fantastic. The flavors are not always what you would expect; I'd consider the fare Asian-fusion, but they are great at what they do, and I always leave satisfied. Don't go here expecting authentic fare, but do go expecting to leave with happy taste-buds.

I was shopping in the Towson area and was excited to accidently stumble upon the PF Changs. The location is a bit unfortunate as it is out of the actual shopping center, but perhaps as things evolve that will not be a large issue. I was there on a Saturday night, and the wait was 35-45 minutes for 2 which I found reasonable. We were seated promptly (only after 25 minutes). I have eaten at PF Changs in other locales, and so I am not newbie to the restaurant, but my dining companion was. Our server was attentive, prompt, and articulate, and did a nice job of explaning the sauces, entrees, etc. to my friend. We dined off the 'for two' menu and everything was excellent. We started with hot and sour soup and vegetable dumplings, and then we ordered mongolian beef and dali chicken for our entrees, and dessert was tiramisu and red velvet cake minis. The food was fresh, flavorful, the correct temperature and timed well (in reference to timing of presentation). The waitstaff advised us the dali chicken was the spiciest dish the restaurant offered, and although it had a nice flavor, I did not really perceive what I would consider true heat. Price was reasonable, only $45 pre tip, and I would most definitely return. Please be warned however, that caloric values for all dishes (even the vegetarian ones or the steamed ones) are high, and this will be a diet buster meal. Our meal per person was nearly 2400 calories. A nice and tasty splurge.

A brand new spot tacked on to the new additions at the Towson Town Center. The location looks the same as every other PFC I've been in, but the server staff definitely needs to get in the swing of things. My Fiancee and I were sat on a Tuesday afternoon at a table in an area with one other table and we waited 10 minutes before someone came by to give us water and check in. We ordered the lettuce wraps because normally they are pretty good, when we got them, they cut the lettuce into little discs that made folding them harder since it was all the white of the lettuce that didn't bend too well. The flavor was ok, but it seemed that the portion was smaller than we were used to. We ate without interruption or water refills. After the plate was empty we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for another appearance to get the check to pay, however we didn't get it, so we just put an approximate amount on the table and left. No one chased us down so I assume the amount was correct.

The service at this place absolutely reeks! We made a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night, arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were taken to a table in the dining room. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and walked off leaving my boyfriend, 2-year old son, and I standing there. We stood there waiting for a few minutes and were soon fetched by the hostess and brought back to the waiting area. A few minutes later we were taken back to the original table and sat. At least two other tables were also sat within moments of us sitting down and were waiting on almost immediately. By 6:20pm we still had not been seen by a water to order drinks. Eventually we wave down a waiter and as her what is going on, she assures us that our water will be over shortly. Our water?? Our waiter eventually gets to us, we notice that he was waiting on one of the tables that had been sat after us who was now eating their appetizers! We put in our drink order and ten minutes later we got our requested waters and the baby's juice but not our actual drinks. Finally able to order food. Ordered the Northern Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp for appetizer and the VIP Duck and a pan fried noodle dish for entree. Our appetizers arrive after another absurdly long wait time and a minute later our entrees arrive. After sitting in the restaurant for more than 50 minutes our table was flooded with food. The waiter once again screwed up the rice order and brought us white rice instead of brown and we ended up waiting for that to be corrected. Since our food arrived we were trying to make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the plethora of food in front of us when the waiter comes tableside with to-go boxes and bags. Doesn't ask if we want to see a dessert menu -- we were out celebrating my birthday -- doesn't ask us if we were finished! At that point I was completely over the meal, and told him to pack up our food and bring us the bill immediately. Of course another twenty minutes goes by before we can actually get out of the place. Needless to say, I have no plans on returning to an over-hyped, over-priced, under-staffed chinese food restaurant. It is an absolutely shame I cannot give them 0 stars.

Came here on Saturday for lunch. The place is almost empty. The waitress is nice and attentive. But I sense that she is a little disappointed that we only ordered from the lunch menu. We got asian salmon and brocolli with beef. The portion size is somewhat small. The salmon may be slightly bland and the the beef is a little too sweet. The soup is too sour. But overall flavor is pretty good.

Came in for an early lunch on 7/4 at 11:12a and we were the 1st people to arrive at the restaurant on this 4th holiday. We were greeted by the hostess and I asked if we were too early. She retorted, "why would you ask that? What do you mean? We open at 11a every day." I stopped her and noted - "clearly I didn't know what time you opened." I'm thinking - why is this woman so adversarial? I'm a customer? Why should she admonish me for my question? W The Food at PF's was just alright. If I could I would give this location no stars. This was the first and last time I will come this PF Changs located at Towson Mall. My brother and I had an okay meal. The dynamite shrimp was cold and did not have the best presentation as we've experienced before. Also, the customer service in general and specifically from our waiter was not great. This definitely was not the best experience at a PF Changs location. After our meal we realized we lost our credit card. When we called the credit card company to cancel the account we found out there was a large amount charged to the card. Obviously a fraud charge when one loses the card. To my surprise when I called PF Changs to check if we forgot it there, the manager said yes!! I'm appalled to think that someone from that establishment was the one who took advantage of a customer who forgot their card. Would not recommend this location.

I had the worst experience ever at this Pf Chang's on 11/6/12. (I'm a little late sharing this). Ill try to keep it short and sweet, drinks were made well, food was decent, not as good as white marsh's changs, but the service? HOLY HELL. Lets get one thing straight, I'm a drinker, not booze but water, iced tea, I'm a guzzler, I won't lie, but when my glasses are empty for 20+ minutes? WHATTT?? I'm sorry that's unacceptable, PLUS one food item came out cold, did they make me a fresh order? No they just retossed it in the wok. Gross.. My servers name was Josh, stay away from him, he sucks, stick to sitting at the bar with Sherif or Alex

Came in for an early lunch on 7/4 at 11:12a and we were the 1st people to arrive at the restaurant on this 4th holiday. We were greeted by the hostess and I asked if we were too early. She retorted, "why would you ask that? What do you mean? We open at 11a every day." I stopped her and noted - "clearly I didn't know what time you opened." I'm thinking - why is this woman so adversarial? I'm a customer? Why should she admonish me for my question? W The Food at PF's was just alright. We won't ever come back. why not answer the question without schooling me? You should have heard the tone (homely lady with long hair to pulled to one side). We won't be back. Ever.

Came here on Saturday for lunch. The place is almost empty. The waitress is nice and attentive. But I sense that she is a little disappointed that we only ordered from the lunch menu. We got asian salmon and brocolli with beef. The portion size is somewhat small. The salmon may be slightly bland and the the beef is a little too sweet. The soup is too sour. But overall flavor is pretty good.

If I could I would give this location no stars. This was the first and last time I will come this PF Changs located at Towson Mall. My brother and I had an okay meal. The dynamite shrimp was cold and did not have the best presentation as we've experienced before. Also, the customer service in general and specifically from our waiter was not great. This definitely was not the best experience at a PF Changs location. After our meal we realized we lost our credit card. When we called the credit card company to cancel the account we found out there was a large amount charged to the card. Obviously a fraud charge when one loses the card. To my surprise when I called PF Changs to check if we forgot it there, the manager said yes!! I'm appalled to think that someone from that establishment was the one who took advantage of a customer who forgot their card. Would not recommend this location.

With pf chang food you should know what to expect. The food is alright but this particular towson location is the most horrible experience I've had. My husband and I visited on Friday evening. The server was so unprofessional my husband ran out of his drink and our waiter was not insight he finally showed up after 20 mins and his exact words were "I'm so sorry I've been busy as s$&@" I will not be dining here ever again!

Wonderful outdoor patio offered a lovely space to try some new dishes. Orange ginger edamame, shrimp steamed dumplings, walnut prawns with fresh, honeydew melon balls, strawberry-cucumber-limeade. What an awesome place! View from patio during sunset was really lovely. One of the better patio views in Towson.

This is not my first time at a P.F. Changs, but it is my first time at this location. I came to Towson Mall for some last minute shopping. Upon entering the garage, I spotted the sign for this restaurant. I suggested it to my boyfriend. He had yet eaten at one. It was a little confusing trying to get in (I was convinced there was a mall entered a, but could not find it). The revolving door was smaller than normal, but then again my boyfriend and I insisted on both entering at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful! Dim lighting with candle center pieces. Very romantic. We ordered the meal for two (a four course meal for two persons for $40). The food was AMAZING! Our server Alexa was very attentive and made note of my boyfriends allergy to mushrooms. I ordered a bottle of Jam Jar (suggested by Alexa) and it complimented my food choice. I work in a very high traffic casino at a famous chef's restaurant. I understand the standards of service that a guest should receive. I have to say I was impressed and would definitely return. Also, I noticed a gentleman (who i pressured to be of management) get on his hands and knees to pick up trash under a table. He also "got his hands dirty" and was helping bus tables. This is what I like to see, team work. Ok I'll hush now, but bravo on your establishment.

Not a fan of chains...but a visit to Towson University and a need for nourishment forced me to visit P F Changs. We had to put an APB out on our server; but once located she did meet our basic needs. MD temperatures were below freezing...I opted for the Chicken soup, egg rolls and the ginger beer...the soup was surprising well made with a depth of spiciness that I enjoyed along with the nicely made egg rolls (skip the accompanying super sweet sauce). I drained that ginger beer...and appreciated the cute slice of crystallized ginger in my glass. My lunch mates had honey chicken and another chicken dish (we don't know the name of it because it was not what we ordered!) Good option for Towson University visitors.

I am only giving this a 4 star rating because of the food. The food was great! We had the honey chicken and Mongolian beef both were amazing. The service is a different story. Our server must have been getting off his shift because he completely ignored us.

The food and service were quite good for a quiet Sunday lunch. There are some good looking options for vegetarians but not tons. I'm not a vegetarian but I often like to eat meat free. My spouse and I just wanted some water and some lunch but we had to endure the sales pitches for drinks and desserts, so in other words it's a typical chain restaurant.

I am a great fan of PF Changs; howver, it took a while for us to be seated even though it appeared that the restaurant was a little on the empty side. This location's food was a tad bit salty...okay, well it was a lot salty. We both got the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I am not sure if they got carried away with using soy sauce or if they really made it that salty. The sever was friendly a little on the slow side, but friendly. The restaurant was not full but it seemed like it took forever to get our food (over an hour). My husband got the Singapore street noodles with chicken and he couldn't even find the chicken.I'm sure it was hiding in there somewhere. I guess the chicken was avoiding the salt too! When we finally got it we really didn't to have a chance to eat it because we had to leave and go somewhere else...so much for lunch!!!!

I like this place for good and consistent Chinese style food. It's definitely a chain and you can pretty much get the same thing here as in another location, so when I'm craving a specific PF Chang's dish, I know what to expect. If you're trying to eat healthier, opt for the brown rice. I didn't realize it was an option until a great server told me about it. The nice thing is that you can specify what you would like to see in your dish whether it is a substitution to adding or lessening spice.

We ate here on Sunday and it was my first visit to a P.F Chang's. The outside looked nice and we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar seating area. I did notice that despite the fact the the restaurant was not very busy that the floor was dirty. Service was good and there were allot of good looking items on the menu. We opted for the dinner for 2. We go hot and sour soup and although it looked very savory the soup was hot but was very sweet. The fried dumpling appetizer was very good. My son got moo goo gai pan which he said was good and I got kung pao chicken which was cooked to death it was so dry it was hard to eat. When I went to the restroom they use the hallway for chair storage which seems odd and i had to move a chair to go down the hall. I had high expectations but all in all i think the food in your typical food court Chinese restaurant is much better.

Dined here on Christmas Day and didn't even need a reservation. Only place open in the area so we couldn't get through the mall to go into the restaurant. We ended up walking completely around to the other side which was bothersome in below 30 degree weather. Once there we were sat and waited on right away. We had a very attentive server but the speed of the food from back of house was another story., Soup and appetizer came out very quickly but the main dish seemed like it took forever. Some dishes seem very large while others very small. The food tasted good, don't get me wrong, but i still have tasted better from cheap Chinese food places and have gotten much more for my buck. I think you are mostly paying for ambiance and service here, even though the speed of the food coming out wasn't too great either. The restaurant itself is beautiful but honestly I don't see the experience being worth what I paid. Over $70 for two people and that's just using the pirx fixe menu. This is good for that rare occasion or a date but not for your typical dining experience.

Definite and apparent difference in quality (lower) than any other Pf Chang's I've been to. Food is still good just lower quality atmosphere, presentation could be better, lettuce wrap leafs were no bigger than the palm of your hands....stuff like that. Nothing too serious but definitely noticeable.

Worst service I have had in a decade. Good thing the food and bar was on. Mixed up dishes, side dishes arrive once the entree was consumed. Serving stands popped up in front of walking cliens. One broken sink and no soap in the head. Never again at this location.

This place is so nice. I loved the pad Thai but it was pretty spicy! Definitely ask for no peppers if you're not a spicy food person. The egg roll starters are awesome.

I went there for lunch today, and, seriously? The service was AWFUL! The server would drop things off at the table and disappear before I could ask for something else. There were maybe two other tables in the restaurant, and I watched him chat with the table behind us at length. Meanwhile, we waited for drink refills so long, my friend had to call the manager over to get refills. It probably took 40 minutes to receive our food- for two people! I don't think we saw our waiter that entire time. There were no explanations or apologies. And, when we passed the manager on the way out, there was no, "how was everything?" Or even a goodbye or thank you. The chicken soup was delicious, but luckily there are other p.f. Chang's with good service in the area! This seems to be a consistent problem at this location, perhaps corporate needs to take notice....

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend tonight. I'm convinced he suggested this place solely due to his love of their egg drop soup, which he couldn't stop talking about. We started with sparkling sake, which was delicious and tasted just like champagne, steamed dumplings, crab wontons, spring rolls and, of course, egg drop soup. The egg drop soup really is remarkable; creamy and hearty. I would have preferred a soy ginger sauce with the dumplings rather than the chili sauce they came with. The crab wontons are perfection. Spring rolls were fresh and came with a delicious tangy sauce. For our mains, he went orange peel chicken and I crispy honey chicken. Mine was a bit bland but had a nice flavor. The crispy noodles add a fun textural element. His orange chicken was incredible. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. Bonus: we made a reservation and were seated at the exact time of our reservation. We will definitely be coming back.

Came here on a Saturday night, with a reservation, for a special occasion. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This wouldn't have been an issue, but there were plenty of empty tables and a handful of tables waiting to be bused. The service here was really in the top 10 for worst service at a restaurant. Our server never introduced himself and wasn't attentive at all. We had to wait forever to put our order in and even longer to receive our food. Food was cold when it came out, who knows how long it had been ready. He didn't come back at all to check how everything was. No drink refills because we couldn't find him to ask. After ordering we dessert waited 10 minutes for forks and ended up taking the place settings from one of the unused tables before everything got even colder. The food was fine, the service was seriously subpar. There are better restaurants (and PF Changs) in the area to subject myself to this type of service again.

Been avoiding this place like the plague...chain food when so many odd little greasy Chinese joints abound, why bother? But we had a retirement party to attend, so, gave it a shot! Not bad- high quality ingredients - better than most Chinese carry-outs; appropriate saucing; but sauces were mostly sugar-based, with a bit of soy- pleasant but bland. All the chicken dishes tasted pretty identical, just garnished differently. Same for shrimp and beef. Just sweet and soy-ish. For any real spice, I had to chew the whole dried cayennes in the kung pao chicken. Appetizers were hit or miss- spring rolls were oddly bland. Crab wontons and dynmatie shrimp were good- the crab esp. better than typical carry out, had actual crab in it! Soups were good- almost 100% standard Chinese carry out. Atmosphere was clean, nicely decorated. Service was friendly..but sooooo slow. Also wish they had plain black tea as a selection from their tea menu. Overall-- OK. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. I much prefer the ghetto China Wok by North Avenue. The chicken isn't as high quality, but the sauces are full of garlic and chilies, and have that toasty wok flavor. But if you enjoy slightly salty sweetened white meat chicken in a corporate-clean atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars right now is because of the takeout guy that we usually deal with...he has dreds and is basically the boss! Now on to tonight...it's 9:00pm and we walk in without a res but I would be fine to wait for a table if the dinning room was full...but it's not full...far from it! There were 24 tables ... Count them 24(!) ... Open and not bused. People waiting at the bar waiting outside in the rain and people sitting inside the door. Mean while the hostess station has 3 girls doing nothing...watching me count the empty tables as they say my wait is 40 minutes! I see why we usually deal with the boss Dreds and not dine in. So sad.

I was at PF Changs recently and I was befuddled at why the place is always near-empty. Good location, good food, good service, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, it was a great night. My date and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded, which is what we wanted. Dimly light, attentive service, we were happy. It took no time to be seated and it seemed like everyone from the host to the waitress to the manager on duty made a point to come by and ask how did we like everything, were we happy, did we need anything, etc. My date and I did the prix fixe and got hot and sour soup (me), egg drop soup (him), lettuce wraps, mongolian beef (him), crispy honey shrimp (me), and a salted caramel/melted chocolate thing for dessert. It was all good and came out on time. I've been there maybe twice before and the food and service has always been good.

We went there last Sunday after church...12:00noon ..not many customers but it took them 10mins to say hello and get order for beverages..we ordered..it took them 30mins to bring soup out and food came out much later than that...when there aren't many people and the service is so slow..something is wrong...worst P.F.Chang's experience ever..wouldnt never go back. Given that my boyfriend and I had never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, we thought we'd go try it out. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty for a weekend night - that should have been our first indication to leave and head the T.G.I Friday's instead. Our server was well-spoken enough, but sort of abandoned us half-way through the meal, leaving our glasses unfilled and making us wait 20 or so minutes after we were done just to flag him down for the bill. [It seemed he was too busy paying attention to the bigger parties and sort of just let the two of us fall by the wayside.] The food was... mediocre. I had the mapo tofu which was made of crispy tofu cubes in place of the normal silken tofu. My boyfriend had the sweet & sour pork which he described as fried fatty bits of meat. [It also had finely chopped pieces of ginger which can't really be picked out so watch out for those.] Rice (white or brown) comes with all entrees and can't be substituted. The best thing of the evening was the spring rolls we had as an appetizer. I regret listening to the waiter and getting an entree instead of the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. If you come here, stick with the appetizers - they're your safest bet. Also, I found it amusing that the server emphasized serving dishes in a "family-style" manner in an attempt to appear more like an authentic Chinese restaurant. They try so hard, but they'll always be the Olive Garden of Chinese restaurants.

I wouldn't even give this PF Chang's a 1 star. I am highly allergic to mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms in the chicken lettuce wraps, no problem right? So the waiter comes back and tells me no, they can not change the recipe. I explain to her every other Chang's restaurant I go to takes the mushrooms and the mushroom sauce out for me. She tells me she's going to get the manager to ask him, and comes back without the manager, tells me he said sorry they can NOT accommodate my allergies! We left, and will never go back to this establishment ever again!

Second time coming here. (I'm actually still in my seat waiting on dessert). It's a pretty busy Saturday night - not to mention there's a homecoming in town (Morgan State University! #proudalumni) so our wait was suppose to be 45-50 minutes but ended up being 10 (SWEET!) Dined here last night with friends and service was great UNTIL I found a ROCK in my noodle dish. A ROCK! I was eating a rock and now possibly have a cracked tooth thanks to P F Chang's in Towson. Once the manager came out to look at the rock he told me everything is made fresh. Are you kidding me? The manager was very rude to me and was giving me an attitude. He told me that he would take care of my dinner like that is a question. I am absolutely mortified with this chain and level of service on management's role. I also contacted the the Operating Partner by email and by telephone and still no response. I will make sure corporate is aware of this problem. The only person I can say was polite and apologized was our waitress I believe her name was Jennifer. She played the manager role better then the manager on duty. I could have chocked and the manager did not seem to care what so ever. I am lost for words on how I was treated. I am not a product, I am a HUMAN who wanted to eat dinner peacefully with my friends. P F Chang's in Towson is a complete faliure to my care.

The first time when I went to PF Chang, I ordered the firecracker shrimp and I was in awe. Till this day, that was the most amazing shrimp-related appetizer I have ever had in my entire life. Of course I went back there for more, and the second time when I was there (only less than 1 month apart), I ordered the firecracker shrimp again and expected that they were just as good as the first time, but eh-eh, that dish was not half as good as my first experience. So I thought the chef just had a bad day. However, when the fourth time I dined there and the food was nothing but mediocre, I gave up. That was 2 years ago, and I wish someday I will be able to taste the perfectly done firecracker shrimp one more time...

The food here is great! A bit on the pricey side but nothing unexpected. Usually when I come here I get the Dinner for Two Deal which is great considering all the delicious food you get. Portion sizes can be a bit small but I mostly excuse it because the taste makes up for it. Egg Drop Soup, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken and the Crab Fried Rice are definite favorites between friends and I. And their Great Wall of Chocolate is absolutely amazing! The slice we got was huge as well. The raspberry sauce they use for it is absolutely scrumptious I couldnt help myself to more of it. Wait staff is a hit or miss depending on who you get. Service is usually agreeable but once or twice I had a waiter/tress who forgot about us and/or rushed us to order.

For what it is (an affordable large chain restaurant) PF Chang is a great option for larger parties. I made reservations for a party of ten in advance and we had a great experience. Due to a storm we were a half hour late and they welcomed us without any trouble. The service in general was really was made our evening. Everything was seamless and the staff anticipated our every need. Our amazing server made the best menu suggestions, including having us order the right amount of appetizers. Glasses were never empty, and all needs were met without fail. He even allowed my sister to enjoy her alcohol-free wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. I'd go back with a large party in a heartbeat. I wish there had been an inside entrance from the mall given the bad weather, but that's not bad if that's all I can complain about. Yummy food, warm atmosphere, good prices and great service. You can't go wrong.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because we had a charming waitress. But the food here is really poorly prepared and chock full of sodium!. I would have had a better Chinese meal at Panda express!. Where to start?. First we had the crunchy green beans. They were neither crunchy( supposed to be deep fried) or fresh. Instead they were oil soaked soggy green beans. 2nd course was the pan fried potstickers filled with shrimp. These would have been fine if the chef had laid off the salt which overwhelmed the dish!. For our entrees we had the honey chicken and orange chicken. These were mediocre at beet. But at least they were edible. For dessert we had the mini portion of the chocolate tower and cheesecake. The desserts were bland. Sara lee would have tasted better. Oh well serves me right for going to a western chain restaurant for Chinese food!.

Fantastic service tonight! I sat at the bar and Alex start out by shaking my hand and asking for my name. He was friendly, engaging, and showed a true care for the experience. Changs needs to hire more team members like him. One person on your staff can make or break your success based on simple interactions. Great job!

This is the only PF Chang's I've been to, and I've only gone once, during the day. There was only one other couple there. The food was good, and I can only expect it's what you would get at any restaurant. Our server was nice, and the restaurant is very pretty and modern looking. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

It was a cold Saturday morning, and we were close to Towson Mall; we decided to head to P.F. Changs for some warm soup. We were the first ones there and had a warm welcome. We ordered the wonton soup as an appetizer and many different entrees, including chow mein and Kung pao shrimp. It took a good 20 mins. for the soup to come out after ordering. The people around us, who arrived after us because we were first, got their appetizers before we did! The soup was lukewarm, rather than hot. So that was a negative. Although, the kindness of the staff made up for the late wonton soup. The noodles were great as well as the shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken "to go" for my brother at home. Once home, we gave him the food; it tasted and smelled like airplane food. That's no bueno. There was way too much sauce rather than meat. And the rice was too soggy because of the abundance of sauce. I'd only go back there for the great staff and the good chow mein.

This was my worst PFC experience, anywhere. I was with my sister, who'd never had P.F. Chang's- so I suggested we try it out. I've been to a lot of PFC's in other states and I've always had (consistently) good food. I was really disappointed here, for a few reasons...our appetizers (crab wontons and steamed veggie dumplings) were cold. Our entrees (veggie lo mein and chicken w/veggies/white sauce-forgot the name) were also cold. It was the worst lo mein I've ever had- besides being cold, it was gummy and had no flavor. We tried to order drinks, when our entrees arrived, but we were told that the bar was closed- this was 30 min. before the restaurant was going to stop serving and we were never told that the bar was closing early. I hate going to restaurants right before closing, but when I looked online, it showed we had an hour...maybe they closed early because it was slow, but it would have been nice to have been given the option to order while we still had a chance. I wouldn't go back, but our server was nice and so was the food runner.

Undoubtably PF Changs is the "olive garden" of Chinese food. Not authentic by any means, but still 'effin delicious! I've been several times for birthdays, bachelorette dinners, dates or lunch with mom and every time it's the same experience - a wait to be seated, good food, a bit pricey and a bomb diggity key-lime pie martini (note: do NOT skip the key-lime pie martini) I've had several of the dishes at PF Changs and they are really really good - for appetizers, the crab wontons are fantastic, and so are the lettuce wraps. Nom nom nom! For the main course the honey walnut shrimp is off the hook and so is the buddha bowl. For desert they have these little mini shots of different cakes - chocolate, strawberry, key-lime. All good. Basically to sum up PF Changs - it is a chain. And the food is good. But slightly pricey. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy it.

I echo many of the other reviews. If you are looking for a best Chinese food around, head over to the Szechuan House in Lutherville. PF Changs is my preferred business Chinese place. The service and food quality are predictable. Fortunately, I have always had crispy green beans that were crispy. I like pineapple juice for lunch and when I order it, I request a water glass sized drink. Since this is a business expense, I don't care about paying a few dollars more. Occasionally though, I get a small glass (annoying) or juice which has turned south. I usually order the Kung Pao Scallops with brown rice, and it is the same no matter which location I order from. I did have one bizarre customer service experience though. Since I am a regular, I was approached by a manager and encouraged to sign up for their loyalty program. I figured he'd get brownie points and they were a decent place, so I filled out the form at the table. They gave me a 'happy cat' card on the spot. A week later, another 'happy cat' card came in the mail. They had different numbers on the back. The next time I went to P.F. Changs, I put both into the billfold along with my credit card and receipt. I had no idea what to expect. The waiter came back and said neither of the 'happy cat' cards were valid, nor was there any kind of reward, and that the 'happy cat' cards were being discontinued. Bizarre, eh? So I contacted their customer support. They apologized and repeated what the waiter told me and said they have a new loyalty card, the 'stern warrior'. She said they are still trying to figure this 'loyalty thing' out (it sounds to me like learning how to drive a car while it is going down the highway). I could fill out another form and they would send the 'stern warrior' to me. Weird, huh? So I did. The 'stern warrior' card arrived and I used it my next time at PF Changs. Guess what? No reward. I told the waiter my experiences and he brought us a free dessert. After that, I have been back about six times. Each time, I get 10% off on my check.

Not impressed at all. I've had many people tell me how delicious P.F. Chang's is and how authentic it is. Unfortunately, I've had much, much better Chinese food at simple hole-in-the-wall restaurants than here. I got the Singaporean Rice Noodles and it was O.K.; not the best not the worst. At every Chinese restaurant we go to, we always try the hot and sour soup. It's one of my favorite soups and I wasn't impressed with P.F. Chang's. It was watered down and just boring. More sour than hot. I don't think I'd spend the money to go back here. I have to say, I'm a little relieved that Yelp reflects how my experience was. I was beginning to think maybe I was crazy!

I visited pf changs earlier today had the chicken fried rice and spicy changs chicken. Three hours later I was throwing it all up. That food made me so sick. I will never return to this restaurant. I called the restaurant to tell the manager of how sick I got and maybe there was something bad in the food. Her response was it takes 24 hours for a food borne illness to take effect which is not true.

Man this was one hell of a experience in restaurant hell. We went here for a friend's birthday with about 10 other friends on a busy Friday night. The average age of the servers is around 18. I could tell you about the food (tasteless) and the service (slow and inaccurate) but why bother. I have something better. The waiter walks out of the kitchen at about 45 MPH with a full tray of food. He stops at our table and, you guessed it, everything flies off the tray and onto our table. Broken glass everywhere, including one friend's eye and in our already-served food (btw, about 20 minutes before this, another waiter dropped a tray of glasses across the room). They, including 2 managers, apologize and say they will discount our bill for the inconvenience. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they did NOT discount anything. I felt bad for the kid so I didn't bother calling for a refund or complaining to corporate. I was a waiter back in the day and I know you feel like dog doo for days after mishaps like that. BUT, we will never go back.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy so we went to the bar area. There was a young lady (assumed to be the manager) doing something at the register with her back to us and 3 other guests at the bar. She never acknowledged us or greeted us, finished her work and left the bar, now no staff was there. After a while 4 more guests sat at the bar, so went to the hostess and inquired where the bartender was, and she informed me there would be one there soon. A gentleman did show up at the bar, but he appeared to be the only bartender on duty and he was also the waiter for all the tables in the bar area. One of the couples got up to get a table in the dining room but were informed that it would be a 35 minute wait so they left. We quickly realized that this would not be a memorable evening at Chang's so we followed their lead. The ironic thing was that my wife had been there the day before at lunch and had a similar experience and the bartender that day handed out coupons to apologize for the poor experience. It would seem like Chang's would be better off to fix the peoblem, maybe put some staff on rather than hand out coupons.

Our experience was much better then some based on these reviews. Someone said the food was tasteless, to that person I would see a Dr because there may be something wrong with your tastebuds. I would accept someone saying it was not good but tasteless? I sampled all 4 meals of our dining party and they were all excellent. I would agree with the one reviewer that there is a lot of sodium in the dishes and they would have been better with less, hense the 4 stars. The soups were excellent with a real chicken broth, the lettuce wraps were good, great spring rolls (not the skinny kind you get at the local takeout joint). I am not a dessert fan but we got the fried bannanas with icecream, let me just say that I cleaned the plate and I was full before I even got to the dessert. The staff was great, no waiting, food came out on time and hot, fresh. My only suggestion is to use less sodium and I do not say this for health reasons, I do not go out to eat to be healthy, but the dishes do not need that much sodium to taste good...less is more sometimes. Overall we had a great experience. My dining buddies ate at several PF Changs in other locations and this one rates with the rest according to them..

The crab wontons are amazing and their spicy plum sauce puts Cheesecake Factory wontons to shame. My bf and I go to the white flint Changs all the time, but yesterday we were in Towson. Our waiter was friendly and informative. He told us what each sauce and oil was, and told us which ones were spicy and which ones were not. We were very impressed. He was quick with the food, and when he noticed that I barely ate my green tea noodles (way too salty) he took them off the bill without me even asking! Then dessert. He explained every single dessert in detail. I was sad to see that the SMore mini dessert is gone, but I tried the chocolate dome for the first time and it was sooo satisfying. We got our fortune cookies, and we didn't like our fortunes. He told us that he knew that the fortunes sometimes suck, so he gave us a bag of fortune cookies to go so we could find a better fortune. The best service I have had in years, we tipped over 20%. =)))

I love PF Changs in general, but the Towson location has got to be my favorite because of the wonderful staff. The first time I went was a few years ago while I was in college, and we had a very friendly and attentive server. I thought we just got lucky that day, but every time I've returned (been there about 8 times now) we've had equally exceptional servers. My favorite thing to order is the Crispy Honey Shrimp, but the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Lettuce wraps, and all the desserts are also fantastic. The flavors are not always what you would expect; I'd consider the fare Asian-fusion, but they are great at what they do, and I always leave satisfied. Don't go here expecting authentic fare, but do go expecting to leave with happy taste-buds.

I was shopping in the Towson area and was excited to accidently stumble upon the PF Changs. The location is a bit unfortunate as it is out of the actual shopping center, but perhaps as things evolve that will not be a large issue. I was there on a Saturday night, and the wait was 35-45 minutes for 2 which I found reasonable. We were seated promptly (only after 25 minutes). I have eaten at PF Changs in other locales, and so I am not newbie to the restaurant, but my dining companion was. Our server was attentive, prompt, and articulate, and did a nice job of explaning the sauces, entrees, etc. to my friend. We dined off the 'for two' menu and everything was excellent. We started with hot and sour soup and vegetable dumplings, and then we ordered mongolian beef and dali chicken for our entrees, and dessert was tiramisu and red velvet cake minis. The food was fresh, flavorful, the correct temperature and timed well (in reference to timing of presentation). The waitstaff advised us the dali chicken was the spiciest dish the restaurant offered, and although it had a nice flavor, I did not really perceive what I would consider true heat. Price was reasonable, only $45 pre tip, and I would most definitely return. Please be warned however, that caloric values for all dishes (even the vegetarian ones or the steamed ones) are high, and this will be a diet buster meal. Our meal per person was nearly 2400 calories. A nice and tasty splurge.

I like P.F. Chang's and am delighted that they have opened a location in Towson. The food is Chinese, but with unusual twists that people either love or hate depending on their attachment to more traditional "Chinese" dishes found in American restaurants. A perfect example would be the crab wontons. Traditional? No way. Superb? In my opinion, yes. I really like that brown rice is an option and that they have a real wine list. In terms of prices, appetizer and dinner for two without alcohol will run you $40-60. They do have a more economical lunch menu that I have not tried. I have only been to this location for lunch so far and have avoided the lines that one usually finds at P.F. Chang's in other locations. I do wonder whether this unit will survive its awful location. Technically, it is part of the Towson Town Mall, but there is no way to get to it without exiting the mall. The only entrance is on the corner of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmont Avenue. One has to park in one of the mall garages and leave the mall either by Cheesecake Factory or TGI Fridays and then walk to the corner to get in.

My friend came to visit and said, "I must have P.F. Chang's." I did enjoy that they had a sign by the hostess stand that said, "It's restaurant week every week at P.F. Chang's with our menu." Ha! Anyway, we were seated promptly and our waiter was James. He had a great smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed laughing just as much as we did. My friend did not like her hot and sour soup and he exchanged it for the egg drop soup without a problem. The food was hot and fresh and super delicious. James recommended the mongolian beef and I fell in love. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was superb! We had a really great time. If you go, request James as your waiter! He was great! :)

I've been to PF Chang's a few times at different locations, and this weekend I had lunch at the Towson restaurant for the first time. I ordered the wok seared lamb which was seasoned quite nicely. My issue was the server. I could see other tables being waited on appropiately so it may not be entirely fair to rate the restaurant down for one waitress, but the experience left such a bitter taste that I'll probably never go back there. It seemed like more than 30 minutes between each time we saw our waitress, so the total time from ordering drinks to paying our check was over two and a half hours. In addition, we had a couple with a one year old in our party, and we made it clear that mild expedition would be appreciated. The waitress was nice and well versed in the menu, but lack of presence just ruined the meal because it was all we could think about. If it's not to inconvenient, hit the downtown location or the one in Columbia mall.

A brand new spot tacked on to the new additions at the Towson Town Center. The location looks the same as every other PFC I've been in, but the server staff definitely needs to get in the swing of things. My Fiancee and I were sat on a Tuesday afternoon at a table in an area with one other table and we waited 10 minutes before someone came by to give us water and check in. We ordered the lettuce wraps because normally they are pretty good, when we got them, they cut the lettuce into little discs that made folding them harder since it was all the white of the lettuce that didn't bend too well. The flavor was ok, but it seemed that the portion was smaller than we were used to. We ate without interruption or water refills. After the plate was empty we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for another appearance to get the check to pay, however we didn't get it, so we just put an approximate amount on the table and left. No one chased us down so I assume the amount was correct.

The service at this place absolutely reeks! We made a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night, arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were taken to a table in the dining room. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and walked off leaving my boyfriend, 2-year old son, and I standing there. We stood there waiting for a few minutes and were soon fetched by the hostess and brought back to the waiting area. A few minutes later we were taken back to the original table and sat. At least two other tables were also sat within moments of us sitting down and were waiting on almost immediately. By 6:20pm we still had not been seen by a water to order drinks. Eventually we wave down a waiter and as her what is going on, she assures us that our water will be over shortly. Our water?? Our waiter eventually gets to us, we notice that he was waiting on one of the tables that had been sat after us who was now eating their appetizers! We put in our drink order and ten minutes later we got our requested waters and the baby's juice but not our actual drinks. Finally able to order food. Ordered the Northern Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp for appetizer and the VIP Duck and a pan fried noodle dish for entree. Our appetizers arrive after another absurdly long wait time and a minute later our entrees arrive. After sitting in the restaurant for more than 50 minutes our table was flooded with food. The waiter once again screwed up the rice order and brought us white rice instead of brown and we ended up waiting for that to be corrected. Since our food arrived we were trying to make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the plethora of food in front of us when the waiter comes tableside with to-go boxes and bags. Doesn't ask if we want to see a dessert menu -- we were out celebrating my birthday -- doesn't ask us if we were finished! At that point I was completely over the meal, and told him to pack up our food and bring us the bill immediately. Of course another twenty minutes goes by before we can actually get out of the place. Needless to say, I have no plans on returning to an over-hyped, over-priced, under-staffed chinese food restaurant. It is an absolutely shame I cannot give them 0 stars.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars right now is because of the takeout guy that we usually deal with...he has dreds and is basically the boss! Now on to tonight...it's 9:00pm and we walk in without a res but I would be fine to wait for a table if the dinning room was full...but it's not full...far from it! There were 24 tables ... Count them 24(!) ... Open and not bused. People waiting at the bar waiting outside in the rain and people sitting inside the door. Mean while the hostess station has 3 girls doing nothing...watching me count the empty tables as they say my wait is 40 minutes! I see why we usually deal with the boss Dreds and not dine in. So sad.

I was at PF Changs recently and I was befuddled at why the place is always near-empty. Good location, good food, good service, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, it was a great night. My date and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded, which is what we wanted. Dimly light, attentive service, we were happy. It took no time to be seated and it seemed like everyone from the host to the waitress to the manager on duty made a point to come by and ask how did we like everything, were we happy, did we need anything, etc. My date and I did the prix fixe and got hot and sour soup (me), egg drop soup (him), lettuce wraps, mongolian beef (him), crispy honey shrimp (me), and a salted caramel/melted chocolate thing for dessert. It was all good and came out on time. I've been there maybe twice before and the food and service has always been good.

We went there last Sunday after church...12:00noon ..not many customers but it took them 10mins to say hello and get order for beverages..we ordered..it took them 30mins to bring soup out and food came out much later than that...when there aren't many people and the service is so slow..something is wrong...worst P.F.Chang's experience ever..wouldnt never go back. I wouldn't even give this PF Chang's a 1 star. I am highly allergic to mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms in the chicken lettuce wraps, no problem right? So the waiter comes back and tells me no, they can not change the recipe. I explain to her every other Chang's restaurant I go to takes the mushrooms and the mushroom sauce out for me. She tells me she's going to get the manager to ask him, and comes back without the manager, tells me he said sorry they can NOT accommodate my allergies! We left, and will never go back to this establishment ever again!

It's a pretty busy Saturday night - not to mention there's a homecoming in town (Morgan State University! #proudalumni) so our wait was suppose to be 45-50 minutes but ended up being 10 (SWEET!) This is not my first time at a P.F. Changs, but it is my first time at this location. I came to Towson Mall for some last minute shopping. Upon entering the garage, I spotted the sign for this restaurant. I suggested it to my boyfriend. He had yet eaten at one. It was a little confusing trying to get in (I was convinced there was a mall entered a, but could not find it). The revolving door was smaller than normal, but then again my boyfriend and I insisted on both entering at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful! Dim lighting with candle center pieces. Very romantic. We ordered the meal for two (a four course meal for two persons for $40). The food was AMAZING! Our server Alexa was very attentive and made note of my boyfriends allergy to mushrooms. I ordered a bottle of Jam Jar (suggested by Alexa) and it complimented my food choice. I work in a very high traffic casino at a famous chef's restaurant. I understand the standards of service that a guest should receive. I have to say I was impressed and would definitely return. Also, I noticed a gentleman (who i pressured to be of management) get on his hands and knees to pick up trash under a table. He also "got his hands dirty" and was helping bus tables. This is what I like to see, team work. Ok I'll hush now, but bravo on your establishment.

I like this place for good and consistent Chinese style food. It's definitely a chain and you can pretty much get the same thing here as in another location, so when I'm craving a specific PF Chang's dish, I know what to expect. If you're trying to eat healthier, opt for the brown rice. I didn't realize it was an option until a great server told me about it. The nice thing is that you can specify what you would like to see in your dish whether it is a substitution to adding or lessening spice.

I am a great fan of PF Changs; howver, it took a while for us to be seated even though it appeared that the restaurant was a little on the empty side. This location's food was a tad bit salty...okay, well it was a lot salty. We both got the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I am not sure if they got carried away with using soy sauce or if they really made it that salty. The sever was friendly a little on the slow side, but friendly. The restaurant was not full but it seemed like it took forever to get our food (over an hour). My husband got the Singapore street noodles with chicken and he couldn't even find the chicken.I'm sure it was hiding in there somewhere. I guess the chicken was avoiding the salt too! When we finally got it we really didn't to have a chance to eat it because we had to leave and go somewhere else...so much for lunch!!!!

Food is still good just lower quality atmosphere, presentation could be better, lettuce wrap leafs were no bigger than the palm of your hands....stuff like that. Wonderful outdoor patio offered a lovely space to try some new dishes. Orange ginger edamame, shrimp steamed dumplings, walnut prawns with fresh, honeydew melon balls, strawberry-cucumber-limeade. What an awesome place! View from patio during sunset was really lovely. One of the better patio views in Towson.

Came in for an early lunch on 7/4 at 11:12a and we were the 1st people to arrive at the restaurant on this 4th holiday. We were greeted by the hostess and I asked if we were too early. She retorted, "why would you ask that? What do you mean? We open at 11a every day." I stopped her and noted - "clearly I didn't know what time you opened." I'm thinking - why is this woman so adversarial? I'm a customer? Why should she admonish me for my question? W The Food at PF's was just alright. Came here on Saturday for lunch. The place is almost empty. The waitress is nice and attentive. But I sense that she is a little disappointed that we only ordered from the lunch menu. We got asian salmon and brocolli with beef. The portion size is somewhat small. The salmon may be slightly bland and the the beef is a little too sweet. The soup is too sour. But overall flavor is pretty good.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend tonight. I'm convinced he suggested this place solely due to his love of their egg drop soup, which he couldn't stop talking about. We started with sparkling sake, which was delicious and tasted just like champagne, steamed dumplings, crab wontons, spring rolls and, of course, egg drop soup. The egg drop soup really is remarkable; creamy and hearty. I would have preferred a soy ginger sauce with the dumplings rather than the chili sauce they came with. The crab wontons are perfection. Spring rolls were fresh and came with a delicious tangy sauce. For our mains, he went orange peel chicken and I crispy honey chicken. Mine was a bit bland but had a nice flavor. The crispy noodles add a fun textural element. His orange chicken was incredible. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. Bonus: we made a reservation and were seated at the exact time of our reservation. We will definitely be coming back.

Came here on a Saturday night, with a reservation, for a special occasion. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This wouldn't have been an issue, but there were plenty of empty tables and a handful of tables waiting to be bused. The service here was really in the top 10 for worst service at a restaurant. Our server never introduced himself and wasn't attentive at all. We had to wait forever to put our order in and even longer to receive our food. Food was cold when it came out, who knows how long it had been ready. He didn't come back at all to check how everything was. No drink refills because we couldn't find him to ask. After ordering we dessert waited 10 minutes for forks and ended up taking the place settings from one of the unused tables before everything got even colder. The food was fine, the service was seriously subpar. There are better restaurants (and PF Changs) in the area to subject myself to this type of service again.

Been avoiding this place like the plague...chain food when so many odd little greasy Chinese joints abound, why bother? But we had a retirement party to attend, so, gave it a shot! Not bad- high quality ingredients - better than most Chinese carry-outs; appropriate saucing; but sauces were mostly sugar-based, with a bit of soy- pleasant but bland. All the chicken dishes tasted pretty identical, just garnished differently. Same for shrimp and beef. Just sweet and soy-ish. For any real spice, I had to chew the whole dried cayennes in the kung pao chicken. Appetizers were hit or miss- spring rolls were oddly bland. Crab wontons and dynmatie shrimp were good- the crab esp. better than typical carry out, had actual crab in it! Soups were good- almost 100% standard Chinese carry out. Atmosphere was clean, nicely decorated. Service was friendly..but sooooo slow. Also wish they had plain black tea as a selection from their tea menu. Overall-- OK. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. I much prefer the ghetto China Wok by North Avenue. The chicken isn't as high quality, but the sauces are full of garlic and chilies, and have that toasty wok flavor. But if you enjoy slightly salty sweetened white meat chicken in a corporate-clean atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

Not a fan of chains...but a visit to Towson University and a need for nourishment forced me to visit P F Changs. We had to put an APB out on our server; but once located she did meet our basic needs. MD temperatures were below freezing...I opted for the Chicken soup, egg rolls and the ginger beer...the soup was surprising well made with a depth of spiciness that I enjoyed along with the nicely made egg rolls (skip the accompanying super sweet sauce). I drained that ginger beer...and appreciated the cute slice of crystallized ginger in my glass. My lunch mates had honey chicken and another chicken dish (we don't know the name of it because it was not what we ordered!) Good option for Towson University visitors.

We ate here on Sunday and it was my first visit to a P.F Chang's. The outside looked nice and we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar seating area. I did notice that despite the fact the the restaurant was not very busy that the floor was dirty. Service was good and there were allot of good looking items on the menu. We opted for the dinner for 2. We go hot and sour soup and although it looked very savory the soup was hot but was very sweet. The fried dumpling appetizer was very good. My son got moo goo gai pan which he said was good and I got kung pao chicken which was cooked to death it was so dry it was hard to eat. When I went to the restroom they use the hallway for chair storage which seems odd and i had to move a chair to go down the hall. I had high expectations but all in all i think the food in your typical food court Chinese restaurant is much better.

Dined here on Christmas Day and didn't even need a reservation. Only place open in the area so we couldn't get through the mall to go into the restaurant. We ended up walking completely around to the other side which was bothersome in below 30 degree weather. Once there we were sat and waited on right away. We had a very attentive server but the speed of the food from back of house was another story., Soup and appetizer came out very quickly but the main dish seemed like it took forever. Some dishes seem very large while others very small. The food tasted good, don't get me wrong, but i still have tasted better from cheap Chinese food places and have gotten much more for my buck. I think you are mostly paying for ambiance and service here, even though the speed of the food coming out wasn't too great either. The restaurant itself is beautiful but honestly I don't see the experience being worth what I paid. Over $70 for two people and that's just using the pirx fixe menu. This is good for that rare occasion or a date but not for your typical dining experience.

Worst service I have had in a decade. Good thing the food and bar was on. Mixed up dishes, side dishes arrive once the entree was consumed. Serving stands popped up in front of walking cliens. One broken sink and no soap in the head. Never again at this location.

This place is so nice. I loved the pad Thai but it was pretty spicy! Definitely ask for no peppers if you're not a spicy food person. The egg roll starters are awesome.

I went there for lunch today, and, seriously? The service was AWFUL! The server would drop things off at the table and disappear before I could ask for something else. There were maybe two other tables in the restaurant, and I watched him chat with the table behind us at length. Meanwhile, we waited for drink refills so long, my friend had to call the manager over to get refills. It probably took 40 minutes to receive our food- for two people! I don't think we saw our waiter that entire time. There were no explanations or apologies. And, when we passed the manager on the way out, there was no, "how was everything?" Or even a goodbye or thank you. The chicken soup was delicious, but luckily there are other p.f. Chang's with good service in the area! This seems to be a consistent problem at this location, perhaps corporate needs to take notice....

The crab wontons are amazing and their spicy plum sauce puts Cheesecake Factory wontons to shame. My bf and I go to the white flint Changs all the time, but yesterday we were in Towson. Our waiter was friendly and informative. He told us what each sauce and oil was, and told us which ones were spicy and which ones were not. We were very impressed. He was quick with the food, and when he noticed that I barely ate my green tea noodles (way too salty) he took them off the bill without me even asking! Then dessert. He explained every single dessert in detail. I was sad to see that the SMore mini dessert is gone, but I tried the chocolate dome for the first time and it was sooo satisfying. We got our fortune cookies, and we didn't like our fortunes. He told us that he knew that the fortunes sometimes suck, so he gave us a bag of fortune cookies to go so we could find a better fortune. The best service I have had in years, we tipped over 20%. =)))

I love PF Changs in general, but the Towson location has got to be my favorite because of the wonderful staff. The first time I went was a few years ago while I was in college, and we had a very friendly and attentive server. I thought we just got lucky that day, but every time I've returned (been there about 8 times now) we've had equally exceptional servers. My favorite thing to order is the Crispy Honey Shrimp, but the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Lettuce wraps, and all the desserts are also fantastic. The flavors are not always what you would expect; I'd consider the fare Asian-fusion, but they are great at what they do, and I always leave satisfied. Don't go here expecting authentic fare, but do go expecting to leave with happy taste-buds.

I was shopping in the Towson area and was excited to accidently stumble upon the PF Changs. The location is a bit unfortunate as it is out of the actual shopping center, but perhaps as things evolve that will not be a large issue. I was there on a Saturday night, and the wait was 35-45 minutes for 2 which I found reasonable. We were seated promptly (only after 25 minutes). I have eaten at PF Changs in other locales, and so I am not newbie to the restaurant, but my dining companion was. Our server was attentive, prompt, and articulate, and did a nice job of explaning the sauces, entrees, etc. to my friend. We dined off the 'for two' menu and everything was excellent. We started with hot and sour soup and vegetable dumplings, and then we ordered mongolian beef and dali chicken for our entrees, and dessert was tiramisu and red velvet cake minis. The food was fresh, flavorful, the correct temperature and timed well (in reference to timing of presentation). The waitstaff advised us the dali chicken was the spiciest dish the restaurant offered, and although it had a nice flavor, I did not really perceive what I would consider true heat. Price was reasonable, only $45 pre tip, and I would most definitely return. Please be warned however, that caloric values for all dishes (even the vegetarian ones or the steamed ones) are high, and this will be a diet buster meal. Our meal per person was nearly 2400 calories. A nice and tasty splurge.

If I could I would give this location no stars. This was the first and last time I will come this PF Changs located at Towson Mall. My brother and I had an okay meal. The dynamite shrimp was cold and did not have the best presentation as we've experienced before. Also, the customer service in general and specifically from our waiter was not great. This definitely was not the best experience at a PF Changs location. After our meal we realized we lost our credit card. When we called the credit card company to cancel the account we found out there was a large amount charged to the card. Obviously a fraud charge when one loses the card. To my surprise when I called PF Changs to check if we forgot it there, the manager said yes!! I'm appalled to think that someone from that establishment was the one who took advantage of a customer who forgot their card. Would not recommend this location.

Dined here last night with friends and service was great UNTIL I found a ROCK in my noodle dish. A ROCK! I was eating a rock and now possibly have a cracked tooth thanks to P F Chang's in Towson. Once the manager came out to look at the rock he told me everything is made fresh. Are you kidding me? The manager was very rude to me and was giving me an attitude. He told me that he would take care of my dinner like that is a question. I am absolutely mortified with this chain and level of service on management's role. I also contacted the the Operating Partner by email and by telephone and still no response. I will make sure corporate is aware of this problem. The only person I can say was polite and apologized was our waitress I believe her name was Jennifer. She played the manager role better then the manager on duty. I could have chocked and the manager did not seem to care what so ever. I am lost for words on how I was treated. I am not a product, I am a HUMAN who wanted to eat dinner peacefully with my friends. P F Chang's in Towson is a complete faliure to my care.

The first time when I went to PF Chang, I ordered the firecracker shrimp and I was in awe. Till this day, that was the most amazing shrimp-related appetizer I have ever had in my entire life. Of course I went back there for more, and the second time when I was there (only less than 1 month apart), I ordered the firecracker shrimp again and expected that they were just as good as the first time, but eh-eh, that dish was not half as good as my first experience. So I thought the chef just had a bad day. However, when the fourth time I dined there and the food was nothing but mediocre, I gave up. That was 2 years ago, and I wish someday I will be able to taste the perfectly done firecracker shrimp one more time...

The food here is great! A bit on the pricey side but nothing unexpected. Usually when I come here I get the Dinner for Two Deal which is great considering all the delicious food you get. Portion sizes can be a bit small but I mostly excuse it because the taste makes up for it. Egg Drop Soup, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken and the Crab Fried Rice are definite favorites between friends and I. And their Great Wall of Chocolate is absolutely amazing! The slice we got was huge as well. The raspberry sauce they use for it is absolutely scrumptious I couldnt help myself to more of it. Wait staff is a hit or miss depending on who you get. Service is usually agreeable but once or twice I had a waiter/tress who forgot about us and/or rushed us to order.

For what it is (an affordable large chain restaurant) PF Chang is a great option for larger parties. I made reservations for a party of ten in advance and we had a great experience. Due to a storm we were a half hour late and they welcomed us without any trouble. The service in general was really was made our evening. Everything was seamless and the staff anticipated our every need. Our amazing server made the best menu suggestions, including having us order the right amount of appetizers. Glasses were never empty, and all needs were met without fail. He even allowed my sister to enjoy her alcohol-free wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. I'd go back with a large party in a heartbeat. I wish there had been an inside entrance from the mall given the bad weather, but that's not bad if that's all I can complain about. Yummy food, warm atmosphere, good prices and great service. You can't go wrong.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because we had a charming waitress. But the food here is really poorly prepared and chock full of sodium!. I would have had a better Chinese meal at Panda express!. Where to start?. First we had the crunchy green beans. They were neither crunchy( supposed to be deep fried) or fresh. Instead they were oil soaked soggy green beans. 2nd course was the pan fried potstickers filled with shrimp. These would have been fine if the chef had laid off the salt which overwhelmed the dish!. For our entrees we had the honey chicken and orange chicken. These were mediocre at beet. But at least they were edible. For dessert we had the mini portion of the chocolate tower and cheesecake. The desserts were bland. Sara lee would have tasted better. Oh well serves me right for going to a western chain restaurant for Chinese food!.

It was a cold Saturday morning, and we were close to Towson Mall; we decided to head to P.F. Changs for some warm soup. We were the first ones there and had a warm welcome. We ordered the wonton soup as an appetizer and many different entrees, including chow mein and Kung pao shrimp. It took a good 20 mins. for the soup to come out after ordering. The people around us, who arrived after us because we were first, got their appetizers before we did! The soup was lukewarm, rather than hot. So that was a negative. Although, the kindness of the staff made up for the late wonton soup. The noodles were great as well as the shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken "to go" for my brother at home. Once home, we gave him the food; it tasted and smelled like airplane food. That's no bueno. There was way too much sauce rather than meat. And the rice was too soggy because of the abundance of sauce. I'd only go back there for the great staff and the good chow mein.

This was my worst PFC experience, anywhere. I was with my sister, who'd never had P.F. Chang's- so I suggested we try it out. I've been to a lot of PFC's in other states and I've always had (consistently) good food. I was really disappointed here, for a few reasons...our appetizers (crab wontons and steamed veggie dumplings) were cold. Our entrees (veggie lo mein and chicken w/veggies/white sauce-forgot the name) were also cold. It was the worst lo mein I've ever had- besides being cold, it was gummy and had no flavor. We tried to order drinks, when our entrees arrived, but we were told that the bar was closed- this was 30 min. before the restaurant was going to stop serving and we were never told that the bar was closing early. I hate going to restaurants right before closing, but when I looked online, it showed we had an hour...maybe they closed early because it was slow, but it would have been nice to have been given the option to order while we still had a chance. I wouldn't go back, but our server was nice and so was the food runner.

Undoubtably PF Changs is the "olive garden" of Chinese food. Not authentic by any means, but still 'effin delicious! I've been several times for birthdays, bachelorette dinners, dates or lunch with mom and every time it's the same experience - a wait to be seated, good food, a bit pricey and a bomb diggity key-lime pie martini (note: do NOT skip the key-lime pie martini) I've had several of the dishes at PF Changs and they are really really good - for appetizers, the crab wontons are fantastic, and so are the lettuce wraps. Nom nom nom! For the main course the honey walnut shrimp is off the hook and so is the buddha bowl. For desert they have these little mini shots of different cakes - chocolate, strawberry, key-lime. All good. Basically to sum up PF Changs - it is a chain. And the food is good. But slightly pricey. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy it.

I visited pf changs earlier today had the chicken fried rice and spicy changs chicken. Three hours later I was throwing it all up. That food made me so sick. I will never return to this restaurant. I called the restaurant to tell the manager of how sick I got and maybe there was something bad in the food. Her response was it takes 24 hours for a food borne illness to take effect which is not true.

I echo many of the other reviews. If you are looking for a best Chinese food around, head over to the Szechuan House in Lutherville. PF Changs is my preferred business Chinese place. The service and food quality are predictable. Fortunately, I have always had crispy green beans that were crispy. I like pineapple juice for lunch and when I order it, I request a water glass sized drink. Since this is a business expense, I don't care about paying a few dollars more. Occasionally though, I get a small glass (annoying) or juice which has turned south. I usually order the Kung Pao Scallops with brown rice, and it is the same no matter which location I order from. I did have one bizarre customer service experience though. Since I am a regular, I was approached by a manager and encouraged to sign up for their loyalty program. I figured he'd get brownie points and they were a decent place, so I filled out the form at the table. They gave me a 'happy cat' card on the spot. A week later, another 'happy cat' card came in the mail. They had different numbers on the back. The next time I went to P.F. Changs, I put both into the billfold along with my credit card and receipt. I had no idea what to expect. The waiter came back and said neither of the 'happy cat' cards were valid, nor was there any kind of reward, and that the 'happy cat' cards were being discontinued. Bizarre, eh? So I contacted their customer support. They apologized and repeated what the waiter told me and said they have a new loyalty card, the 'stern warrior'. She said they are still trying to figure this 'loyalty thing' out (it sounds to me like learning how to drive a car while it is going down the highway). I could fill out another form and they would send the 'stern warrior' to me. Weird, huh? So I did. The 'stern warrior' card arrived and I used it my next time at PF Changs. Guess what? No reward. I told the waiter my experiences and he brought us a free dessert. After that, I have been back about six times. Each time, I get 10% off on my check.

Man this was one hell of a experience in restaurant hell. We went here for a friend's birthday with about 10 other friends on a busy Friday night. The average age of the servers is around 18. I could tell you about the food (tasteless) and the service (slow and inaccurate) but why bother. I have something better. The waiter walks out of the kitchen at about 45 MPH with a full tray of food. He stops at our table and, you guessed it, everything flies off the tray and onto our table. Broken glass everywhere, including one friend's eye and in our already-served food (btw, about 20 minutes before this, another waiter dropped a tray of glasses across the room). They, including 2 managers, apologize and say they will discount our bill for the inconvenience. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they did NOT discount anything. I felt bad for the kid so I didn't bother calling for a refund or complaining to corporate. I was a waiter back in the day and I know you feel like dog doo for days after mishaps like that. BUT, we will never go back.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy so we went to the bar area. There was a young lady (assumed to be the manager) doing something at the register with her back to us and 3 other guests at the bar. She never acknowledged us or greeted us, finished her work and left the bar, now no staff was there. After a while 4 more guests sat at the bar, so went to the hostess and inquired where the bartender was, and she informed me there would be one there soon. A gentleman did show up at the bar, but he appeared to be the only bartender on duty and he was also the waiter for all the tables in the bar area. One of the couples got up to get a table in the dining room but were informed that it would be a 35 minute wait so they left. We quickly realized that this would not be a memorable evening at Chang's so we followed their lead. The ironic thing was that my wife had been there the day before at lunch and had a similar experience and the bartender that day handed out coupons to apologize for the poor experience. It would seem like Chang's would be better off to fix the peoblem, maybe put some staff on rather than hand out coupons.

Our experience was much better then some based on these reviews. Someone said the food was tasteless, to that person I would see a Dr because there may be something wrong with your tastebuds. I would accept someone saying it was not good but tasteless? I sampled all 4 meals of our dining party and they were all excellent. I would agree with the one reviewer that there is a lot of sodium in the dishes and they would have been better with less, hense the 4 stars. The soups were excellent with a real chicken broth, the lettuce wraps were good, great spring rolls (not the skinny kind you get at the local takeout joint). I am not a dessert fan but we got the fried bannanas with icecream, let me just say that I cleaned the plate and I was full before I even got to the dessert. The staff was great, no waiting, food came out on time and hot, fresh. My only suggestion is to use less sodium and I do not say this for health reasons, I do not go out to eat to be healthy, but the dishes do not need that much sodium to taste good...less is more sometimes. Overall we had a great experience. My dining buddies ate at several PF Changs in other locations and this one rates with the rest according to them..

This is the only PF Chang's I've been to, and I've only gone once, during the day. There was only one other couple there. The food was good, and I can only expect it's what you would get at any restaurant. Our server was nice, and the restaurant is very pretty and modern looking. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Not impressed at all. I've had many people tell me how delicious P.F. Chang's is and how authentic it is. Unfortunately, I've had much, much better Chinese food at simple hole-in-the-wall restaurants than here. I got the Singaporean Rice Noodles and it was O.K.; not the best not the worst. At every Chinese restaurant we go to, we always try the hot and sour soup. It's one of my favorite soups and I wasn't impressed with P.F. Chang's. It was watered down and just boring. More sour than hot. I don't think I'd spend the money to go back here. I have to say, I'm a little relieved that Yelp reflects how my experience was. I was beginning to think maybe I was crazy!

Given that my boyfriend and I had never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, we thought we'd go try it out. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty for a weekend night - that should have been our first indication to leave and head the T.G.I Friday's instead. Our server was well-spoken enough, but sort of abandoned us half-way through the meal, leaving our glasses unfilled and making us wait 20 or so minutes after we were done just to flag him down for the bill. [It seemed he was too busy paying attention to the bigger parties and sort of just let the two of us fall by the wayside.] The food was... mediocre. I had the mapo tofu which was made of crispy tofu cubes in place of the normal silken tofu. My boyfriend had the sweet & sour pork which he described as fried fatty bits of meat. [It also had finely chopped pieces of ginger which can't really be picked out so watch out for those.] Rice (white or brown) comes with all entrees and can't be substituted. The best thing of the evening was the spring rolls we had as an appetizer. I regret listening to the waiter and getting an entree instead of the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. If you come here, stick with the appetizers - they're your safest bet. Also, I found it amusing that the server emphasized serving dishes in a "family-style" manner in an attempt to appear more like an authentic Chinese restaurant. They try so hard, but they'll always be the Olive Garden of Chinese restaurants.

I like P.F. Chang's and am delighted that they have opened a location in Towson. The food is Chinese, but with unusual twists that people either love or hate depending on their attachment to more traditional "Chinese" dishes found in American restaurants. A perfect example would be the crab wontons. Traditional? No way. Superb? In my opinion, yes. I really like that brown rice is an option and that they have a real wine list. In terms of prices, appetizer and dinner for two without alcohol will run you $40-60. They do have a more economical lunch menu that I have not tried. I have only been to this location for lunch so far and have avoided the lines that one usually finds at P.F. Chang's in other locations. I do wonder whether this unit will survive its awful location. Technically, it is part of the Towson Town Mall, but there is no way to get to it without exiting the mall. The only entrance is on the corner of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmont Avenue. One has to park in one of the mall garages and leave the mall either by Cheesecake Factory or TGI Fridays and then walk to the corner to get in.

My friend came to visit and said, "I must have P.F. Chang's." I did enjoy that they had a sign by the hostess stand that said, "It's restaurant week every week at P.F. Chang's with our menu." Ha! Anyway, we were seated promptly and our waiter was James. He had a great smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed laughing just as much as we did. My friend did not like her hot and sour soup and he exchanged it for the egg drop soup without a problem. The food was hot and fresh and super delicious. James recommended the mongolian beef and I fell in love. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was superb! We had a really great time. If you go, request James as your waiter! He was great! :)

I've been to PF Chang's a few times at different locations, and this weekend I had lunch at the Towson restaurant for the first time. I ordered the wok seared lamb which was seasoned quite nicely. My issue was the server. I could see other tables being waited on appropiately so it may not be entirely fair to rate the restaurant down for one waitress, but the experience left such a bitter taste that I'll probably never go back there. It seemed like more than 30 minutes between each time we saw our waitress, so the total time from ordering drinks to paying our check was over two and a half hours. In addition, we had a couple with a one year old in our party, and we made it clear that mild expedition would be appreciated. The waitress was nice and well versed in the menu, but lack of presence just ruined the meal because it was all we could think about. If it's not to inconvenient, hit the downtown location or the one in Columbia mall.

A brand new spot tacked on to the new additions at the Towson Town Center. The location looks the same as every other PFC I've been in, but the server staff definitely needs to get in the swing of things. My Fiancee and I were sat on a Tuesday afternoon at a table in an area with one other table and we waited 10 minutes before someone came by to give us water and check in. We ordered the lettuce wraps because normally they are pretty good, when we got them, they cut the lettuce into little discs that made folding them harder since it was all the white of the lettuce that didn't bend too well. The flavor was ok, but it seemed that the portion was smaller than we were used to. We ate without interruption or water refills. After the plate was empty we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for another appearance to get the check to pay, however we didn't get it, so we just put an approximate amount on the table and left. The service at this place absolutely reeks! We made a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night, arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were taken to a table in the dining room. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and walked off leaving my boyfriend, 2-year old son, and I standing there. We stood there waiting for a few minutes and were soon fetched by the hostess and brought back to the waiting area. A few minutes later we were taken back to the original table and sat. At least two other tables were also sat within moments of us sitting down and were waiting on almost immediately. By 6:20pm we still had not been seen by a water to order drinks. Eventually we wave down a waiter and as her what is going on, she assures us that our water will be over shortly. Our water?? Our waiter eventually gets to us, we notice that he was waiting on one of the tables that had been sat after us who was now eating their appetizers! We put in our drink order and ten minutes later we got our requested waters and the baby's juice but not our actual drinks. Finally able to order food. Ordered the Northern Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp for appetizer and the VIP Duck and a pan fried noodle dish for entree. Our appetizers arrive after another absurdly long wait time and a minute later our entrees arrive. After sitting in the restaurant for more than 50 minutes our table was flooded with food. The waiter once again screwed up the rice order and brought us white rice instead of brown and we ended up waiting for that to be corrected. Since our food arrived we were trying to make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the plethora of food in front of us when the waiter comes tableside with to-go boxes and bags. Doesn't ask if we want to see a dessert menu -- we were out celebrating my birthday -- doesn't ask us if we were finished! At that point I was completely over the meal, and told him to pack up our food and bring us the bill immediately. Of course another twenty minutes goes by before we can actually get out of the place. Needless to say, I have no plans on returning to an over-hyped, over-priced, under-staffed chinese food restaurant. It is an absolutely shame I cannot give them 0 stars.

This is not my first time at a P.F. Changs, but it is my first time at this location. I came to Towson Mall for some last minute shopping. Upon entering the garage, I spotted the sign for this restaurant. I suggested it to my boyfriend. He had yet eaten at one. It was a little confusing trying to get in (I was convinced there was a mall entered a, but could not find it). The revolving door was smaller than normal, but then again my boyfriend and I insisted on both entering at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful! Dim lighting with candle center pieces. Very romantic. We ordered the meal for two (a four course meal for two persons for $40). The food was AMAZING! Our server Alexa was very attentive and made note of my boyfriends allergy to mushrooms. I ordered a bottle of Jam Jar (suggested by Alexa) and it complimented my food choice. I work in a very high traffic casino at a famous chef's restaurant. I understand the standards of service that a guest should receive. I have to say I was impressed and would definitely return. Also, I noticed a gentleman (who i pressured to be of management) get on his hands and knees to pick up trash under a table. He also "got his hands dirty" and was helping bus tables. This is what I like to see, team work. Ok I'll hush now, but bravo on your establishment.

Not a fan of chains...but a visit to Towson University and a need for nourishment forced me to visit P F Changs. We had to put an APB out on our server; but once located she did meet our basic needs. MD temperatures were below freezing...I opted for the Chicken soup, egg rolls and the ginger beer...the soup was surprising well made with a depth of spiciness that I enjoyed along with the nicely made egg rolls (skip the accompanying super sweet sauce). I drained that ginger beer...and appreciated the cute slice of crystallized ginger in my glass. My lunch mates had honey chicken and another chicken dish (we don't know the name of it because it was not what we ordered!) Good option for Towson University visitors.

Came here on a Saturday night, with a reservation, for a special occasion. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This wouldn't have been an issue, but there were plenty of empty tables and a handful of tables waiting to be bused. The service here was really in the top 10 for worst service at a restaurant. Our server never introduced himself and wasn't attentive at all. We had to wait forever to put our order in and even longer to receive our food. Food was cold when it came out, who knows how long it had been ready. He didn't come back at all to check how everything was. No drink refills because we couldn't find him to ask. After ordering we dessert waited 10 minutes for forks and ended up taking the place settings from one of the unused tables before everything got even colder. The food was fine, the service was seriously subpar. There are better restaurants (and PF Changs) in the area to subject myself to this type of service again.

Been avoiding this place like the plague...chain food when so many odd little greasy Chinese joints abound, why bother? But we had a retirement party to attend, so, gave it a shot! Not bad- high quality ingredients - better than most Chinese carry-outs; appropriate saucing; but sauces were mostly sugar-based, with a bit of soy- pleasant but bland. All the chicken dishes tasted pretty identical, just garnished differently. Same for shrimp and beef. Just sweet and soy-ish. For any real spice, I had to chew the whole dried cayennes in the kung pao chicken. Appetizers were hit or miss- spring rolls were oddly bland. Crab wontons and dynmatie shrimp were good- the crab esp. better than typical carry out, had actual crab in it! Soups were good- almost 100% standard Chinese carry out. Atmosphere was clean, nicely decorated. Service was friendly..but sooooo slow. Also wish they had plain black tea as a selection from their tea menu. Overall-- OK. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. I much prefer the ghetto China Wok by North Avenue. The chicken isn't as high quality, but the sauces are full of garlic and chilies, and have that toasty wok flavor. But if you enjoy slightly salty sweetened white meat chicken in a corporate-clean atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars right now is because of the takeout guy that we usually deal with...he has dreds and is basically the boss! Now on to tonight...it's 9:00pm and we walk in without a res but I would be fine to wait for a table if the dinning room was full...but it's not full...far from it! There were 24 tables ... Count them 24(!) ... Open and not bused. People waiting at the bar waiting outside in the rain and people sitting inside the door. Mean while the hostess station has 3 girls doing nothing...watching me count the empty tables as they say my wait is 40 minutes! I see why we usually deal with the boss Dreds and not dine in. So sad.

I like P.F. Chang's and am delighted that they have opened a location in Towson. The food is Chinese, but with unusual twists that people either love or hate depending on their attachment to more traditional "Chinese" dishes found in American restaurants. A perfect example would be the crab wontons. Traditional? No way. Superb? In my opinion, yes. I really like that brown rice is an option and that they have a real wine list. In terms of prices, appetizer and dinner for two without alcohol will run you $40-60. They do have a more economical lunch menu that I have not tried. I have only been to this location for lunch so far and have avoided the lines that one usually finds at P.F. Chang's in other locations. I do wonder whether this unit will survive its awful location. Technically, it is part of the Towson Town Mall, but there is no way to get to it without exiting the mall. The only entrance is on the corner of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmont Avenue. One has to park in one of the mall garages and leave the mall either by Cheesecake Factory or TGI Fridays and then walk to the corner to get in.

My friend came to visit and said, "I must have P.F. Chang's." I did enjoy that they had a sign by the hostess stand that said, "It's restaurant week every week at P.F. Chang's with our menu." Ha! Anyway, we were seated promptly and our waiter was James. He had a great smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed laughing just as much as we did. My friend did not like her hot and sour soup and he exchanged it for the egg drop soup without a problem. The food was hot and fresh and super delicious. James recommended the mongolian beef and I fell in love. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was superb! We had a really great time. If you go, request James as your waiter! He was great! :)

I've been to PF Chang's a few times at different locations, and this weekend I had lunch at the Towson restaurant for the first time. I ordered the wok seared lamb which was seasoned quite nicely. My issue was the server. I could see other tables being waited on appropiately so it may not be entirely fair to rate the restaurant down for one waitress, but the experience left such a bitter taste that I'll probably never go back there. It seemed like more than 30 minutes between each time we saw our waitress, so the total time from ordering drinks to paying our check was over two and a half hours. In addition, we had a couple with a one year old in our party, and we made it clear that mild expedition would be appreciated. The waitress was nice and well versed in the menu, but lack of presence just ruined the meal because it was all we could think about. If it's not to inconvenient, hit the downtown location or the one in Columbia mall.

We ate here on Sunday and it was my first visit to a P.F Chang's. The outside looked nice and we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar seating area. I did notice that despite the fact the the restaurant was not very busy that the floor was dirty. Service was good and there were allot of good looking items on the menu. We opted for the dinner for 2. We go hot and sour soup and although it looked very savory the soup was hot but was very sweet. The fried dumpling appetizer was very good. My son got moo goo gai pan which he said was good and I got kung pao chicken which was cooked to death it was so dry it was hard to eat. When I went to the restroom they use the hallway for chair storage which seems odd and i had to move a chair to go down the hall. I had high expectations but all in all i think the food in your typical food court Chinese restaurant is much better.

I am a great fan of PF Changs; howver, it took a while for us to be seated even though it appeared that the restaurant was a little on the empty side. This location's food was a tad bit salty...okay, well it was a lot salty. We both got the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I am not sure if they got carried away with using soy sauce or if they really made it that salty. The sever was friendly a little on the slow side, but friendly. The restaurant was not full but it seemed like it took forever to get our food (over an hour). My husband got the Singapore street noodles with chicken and he couldn't even find the chicken.I'm sure it was hiding in there somewhere. I guess the chicken was avoiding the salt too! When we finally got it we really didn't to have a chance to eat it because we had to leave and go somewhere else...so much for lunch!!!!

Dined here on Christmas Day and didn't even need a reservation. Only place open in the area so we couldn't get through the mall to go into the restaurant. We ended up walking completely around to the other side which was bothersome in below 30 degree weather. Once there we were sat and waited on right away. We had a very attentive server but the speed of the food from back of house was another story., Soup and appetizer came out very quickly but the main dish seemed like it took forever. Some dishes seem very large while others very small. The food tasted good, don't get me wrong, but i still have tasted better from cheap Chinese food places and have gotten much more for my buck. I think you are mostly paying for ambiance and service here, even though the speed of the food coming out wasn't too great either. The restaurant itself is beautiful but honestly I don't see the experience being worth what I paid. Over $70 for two people and that's just using the pirx fixe menu. This is good for that rare occasion or a date but not for your typical dining experience.

I went there for lunch today, and, seriously? The service was AWFUL! The server would drop things off at the table and disappear before I could ask for something else. There were maybe two other tables in the restaurant, and I watched him chat with the table behind us at length. Meanwhile, we waited for drink refills so long, my friend had to call the manager over to get refills. It probably took 40 minutes to receive our food- for two people! I don't think we saw our waiter that entire time. There were no explanations or apologies. And, when we passed the manager on the way out, there was no, "how was everything?" Or even a goodbye or thank you. The chicken soup was delicious, but luckily there are other p.f. Chang's with good service in the area! This seems to be a consistent problem at this location, perhaps corporate needs to take notice....

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend tonight. I'm convinced he suggested this place solely due to his love of their egg drop soup, which he couldn't stop talking about. We started with sparkling sake, which was delicious and tasted just like champagne, steamed dumplings, crab wontons, spring rolls and, of course, egg drop soup. The egg drop soup really is remarkable; creamy and hearty. I would have preferred a soy ginger sauce with the dumplings rather than the chili sauce they came with. The crab wontons are perfection. Spring rolls were fresh and came with a delicious tangy sauce. For our mains, he went orange peel chicken and I crispy honey chicken. Mine was a bit bland but had a nice flavor. The crispy noodles add a fun textural element. His orange chicken was incredible. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. Bonus: we made a reservation and were seated at the exact time of our reservation. We will definitely be coming back.

I was at PF Changs recently and I was befuddled at why the place is always near-empty. Good location, good food, good service, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, it was a great night. My date and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded, which is what we wanted. Dimly light, attentive service, we were happy. It took no time to be seated and it seemed like everyone from the host to the waitress to the manager on duty made a point to come by and ask how did we like everything, were we happy, did we need anything, etc. My date and I did the prix fixe and got hot and sour soup (me), egg drop soup (him), lettuce wraps, mongolian beef (him), crispy honey shrimp (me), and a salted caramel/melted chocolate thing for dessert. It was all good and came out on time. I've been there maybe twice before and the food and service has always been good.

I like this place for good and consistent Chinese style food. It's definitely a chain and you can pretty much get the same thing here as in another location, so when I'm craving a specific PF Chang's dish, I know what to expect. If you're trying to eat healthier, opt for the brown rice. I didn't realize it was an option until a great server told me about it. The nice thing is that you can specify what you would like to see in your dish whether it is a substitution to adding or lessening spice.

Given that my boyfriend and I had never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, we thought we'd go try it out. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty for a weekend night - that should have been our first indication to leave and head the T.G.I Friday's instead. Our server was well-spoken enough, but sort of abandoned us half-way through the meal, leaving our glasses unfilled and making us wait 20 or so minutes after we were done just to flag him down for the bill. [It seemed he was too busy paying attention to the bigger parties and sort of just let the two of us fall by the wayside.] The food was... mediocre. I had the mapo tofu which was made of crispy tofu cubes in place of the normal silken tofu. My boyfriend had the sweet & sour pork which he described as fried fatty bits of meat. [It also had finely chopped pieces of ginger which can't really be picked out so watch out for those.] Rice (white or brown) comes with all entrees and can't be substituted. The best thing of the evening was the spring rolls we had as an appetizer. I regret listening to the waiter and getting an entree instead of the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. If you come here, stick with the appetizers - they're your safest bet. Also, I found it amusing that the server emphasized serving dishes in a "family-style" manner in an attempt to appear more like an authentic Chinese restaurant. They try so hard, but they'll always be the Olive Garden of Chinese restaurants.

I wouldn't even give this PF Chang's a 1 star. I am highly allergic to mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms in the chicken lettuce wraps, no problem right? So the waiter comes back and tells me no, they can not change the recipe. I explain to her every other Chang's restaurant I go to takes the mushrooms and the mushroom sauce out for me. She tells me she's going to get the manager to ask him, and comes back without the manager, tells me he said sorry they can NOT accommodate my allergies! We left, and will never go back to this establishment ever again!

Dined here last night with friends and service was great UNTIL I found a ROCK in my noodle dish. A ROCK! I was eating a rock and now possibly have a cracked tooth thanks to P F Chang's in Towson. Once the manager came out to look at the rock he told me everything is made fresh. Are you kidding me? The manager was very rude to me and was giving me an attitude. He told me that he would take care of my dinner like that is a question. I am absolutely mortified with this chain and level of service on management's role. I also contacted the the Operating Partner by email and by telephone and still no response. I will make sure corporate is aware of this problem. The only person I can say was polite and apologized was our waitress I believe her name was Jennifer. She played the manager role better then the manager on duty. I could have chocked and the manager did not seem to care what so ever. I am lost for words on how I was treated. I am not a product, I am a HUMAN who wanted to eat dinner peacefully with my friends. P F Chang's in Towson is a complete faliure to my care.

The first time when I went to PF Chang, I ordered the firecracker shrimp and I was in awe. Till this day, that was the most amazing shrimp-related appetizer I have ever had in my entire life. Of course I went back there for more, and the second time when I was there (only less than 1 month apart), I ordered the firecracker shrimp again and expected that they were just as good as the first time, but eh-eh, that dish was not half as good as my first experience. So I thought the chef just had a bad day. However, when the fourth time I dined there and the food was nothing but mediocre, I gave up. That was 2 years ago, and I wish someday I will be able to taste the perfectly done firecracker shrimp one more time...

The food here is great! A bit on the pricey side but nothing unexpected. Usually when I come here I get the Dinner for Two Deal which is great considering all the delicious food you get. Portion sizes can be a bit small but I mostly excuse it because the taste makes up for it. Egg Drop Soup, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken and the Crab Fried Rice are definite favorites between friends and I. And their Great Wall of Chocolate is absolutely amazing! The slice we got was huge as well. The raspberry sauce they use for it is absolutely scrumptious I couldnt help myself to more of it. Wait staff is a hit or miss depending on who you get. Service is usually agreeable but once or twice I had a waiter/tress who forgot about us and/or rushed us to order.

For what it is (an affordable large chain restaurant) PF Chang is a great option for larger parties. I made reservations for a party of ten in advance and we had a great experience. Due to a storm we were a half hour late and they welcomed us without any trouble. The service in general was really was made our evening. Everything was seamless and the staff anticipated our every need. Our amazing server made the best menu suggestions, including having us order the right amount of appetizers. Glasses were never empty, and all needs were met without fail. He even allowed my sister to enjoy her alcohol-free wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. I'd go back with a large party in a heartbeat. I wish there had been an inside entrance from the mall given the bad weather, but that's not bad if that's all I can complain about. Yummy food, warm atmosphere, good prices and great service. You can't go wrong.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because we had a charming waitress. But the food here is really poorly prepared and chock full of sodium!. I would have had a better Chinese meal at Panda express!. Where to start?. First we had the crunchy green beans. They were neither crunchy( supposed to be deep fried) or fresh. Instead they were oil soaked soggy green beans. 2nd course was the pan fried potstickers filled with shrimp. These would have been fine if the chef had laid off the salt which overwhelmed the dish!. For our entrees we had the honey chicken and orange chicken. These were mediocre at beet. But at least they were edible. For dessert we had the mini portion of the chocolate tower and cheesecake. The desserts were bland. Sara lee would have tasted better. Oh well serves me right for going to a western chain restaurant for Chinese food!.

This is the only PF Chang's I've been to, and I've only gone once, during the day. There was only one other couple there. The food was good, and I can only expect it's what you would get at any restaurant. Our server was nice, and the restaurant is very pretty and modern looking. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

I visited pf changs earlier today had the chicken fried rice and spicy changs chicken. Three hours later I was throwing it all up. That food made me so sick. I will never return to this restaurant. I called the restaurant to tell the manager of how sick I got and maybe there was something bad in the food. Her response was it takes 24 hours for a food borne illness to take effect which is not true.

It was a cold Saturday morning, and we were close to Towson Mall; we decided to head to P.F. Changs for some warm soup. We were the first ones there and had a warm welcome. We ordered the wonton soup as an appetizer and many different entrees, including chow mein and Kung pao shrimp. It took a good 20 mins. for the soup to come out after ordering. The people around us, who arrived after us because we were first, got their appetizers before we did! The soup was lukewarm, rather than hot. So that was a negative. Although, the kindness of the staff made up for the late wonton soup. The noodles were great as well as the shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken "to go" for my brother at home. Once home, we gave him the food; it tasted and smelled like airplane food. That's no bueno. There was way too much sauce rather than meat. And the rice was too soggy because of the abundance of sauce. I'd only go back there for the great staff and the good chow mein.

This was my worst PFC experience, anywhere. I was with my sister, who'd never had P.F. Chang's- so I suggested we try it out. I've been to a lot of PFC's in other states and I've always had (consistently) good food. I was really disappointed here, for a few reasons...our appetizers (crab wontons and steamed veggie dumplings) were cold. Our entrees (veggie lo mein and chicken w/veggies/white sauce-forgot the name) were also cold. It was the worst lo mein I've ever had- besides being cold, it was gummy and had no flavor. We tried to order drinks, when our entrees arrived, but we were told that the bar was closed- this was 30 min. before the restaurant was going to stop serving and we were never told that the bar was closing early. Undoubtably PF Changs is the "olive garden" of Chinese food. Not authentic by any means, but still 'effin delicious! I've been several times for birthdays, bachelorette dinners, dates or lunch with mom and every time it's the same experience - a wait to be seated, good food, a bit pricey and a bomb diggity key-lime pie martini (note: do NOT skip the key-lime pie martini) I've had several of the dishes at PF Changs and they are really really good - for appetizers, the crab wontons are fantastic, and so are the lettuce wraps. Nom nom nom! For the main course the honey walnut shrimp is off the hook and so is the buddha bowl. For desert they have these little mini shots of different cakes - chocolate, strawberry, key-lime. All good. Basically to sum up PF Changs - it is a chain. And the food is good. But slightly pricey. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy it.

I echo many of the other reviews. If you are looking for a best Chinese food around, head over to the Szechuan House in Lutherville. PF Changs is my preferred business Chinese place. The service and food quality are predictable. Fortunately, I have always had crispy green beans that were crispy. I like pineapple juice for lunch and when I order it, I request a water glass sized drink. Since this is a business expense, I don't care about paying a few dollars more. Occasionally though, I get a small glass (annoying) or juice which has turned south. I usually order the Kung Pao Scallops with brown rice, and it is the same no matter which location I order from. I did have one bizarre customer service experience though. Since I am a regular, I was approached by a manager and encouraged to sign up for their loyalty program. I figured he'd get brownie points and they were a decent place, so I filled out the form at the table. They gave me a 'happy cat' card on the spot. A week later, another 'happy cat' card came in the mail. They had different numbers on the back. The next time I went to P.F. Changs, I put both into the billfold along with my credit card and receipt. I had no idea what to expect. The waiter came back and said neither of the 'happy cat' cards were valid, nor was there any kind of reward, and that the 'happy cat' cards were being discontinued. Bizarre, eh? So I contacted their customer support. They apologized and repeated what the waiter told me and said they have a new loyalty card, the 'stern warrior'. She said they are still trying to figure this 'loyalty thing' out (it sounds to me like learning how to drive a car while it is going down the highway). I could fill out another form and they would send the 'stern warrior' to me. Weird, huh? So I did. The 'stern warrior' card arrived and I used it my next time at PF Changs. Guess what? No reward. I told the waiter my experiences and he brought us a free dessert. After that, I have been back about six times. Each time, I get 10% off on my check.

Not impressed at all. I've had many people tell me how delicious P.F. Chang's is and how authentic it is. Unfortunately, I've had much, much better Chinese food at simple hole-in-the-wall restaurants than here. I got the Singaporean Rice Noodles and it was O.K.; not the best not the worst. At every Chinese restaurant we go to, we always try the hot and sour soup. It's one of my favorite soups and I wasn't impressed with P.F. Chang's. It was watered down and just boring. More sour than hot. I don't think I'd spend the money to go back here. I have to say, I'm a little relieved that Yelp reflects how my experience was. I was beginning to think maybe I was crazy!

Man this was one hell of a experience in restaurant hell. We went here for a friend's birthday with about 10 other friends on a busy Friday night. The average age of the servers is around 18. I could tell you about the food (tasteless) and the service (slow and inaccurate) but why bother. I have something better. The waiter walks out of the kitchen at about 45 MPH with a full tray of food. He stops at our table and, you guessed it, everything flies off the tray and onto our table. Broken glass everywhere, including one friend's eye and in our already-served food (btw, about 20 minutes before this, another waiter dropped a tray of glasses across the room). They, including 2 managers, apologize and say they will discount our bill for the inconvenience. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they did NOT discount anything. I felt bad for the kid so I didn't bother calling for a refund or complaining to corporate. I was a waiter back in the day and I know you feel like dog doo for days after mishaps like that. BUT, we will never go back.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy so we went to the bar area. There was a young lady (assumed to be the manager) doing something at the register with her back to us and 3 other guests at the bar. She never acknowledged us or greeted us, finished her work and left the bar, now no staff was there. After a while 4 more guests sat at the bar, so went to the hostess and inquired where the bartender was, and she informed me there would be one there soon. A gentleman did show up at the bar, but he appeared to be the only bartender on duty and he was also the waiter for all the tables in the bar area. One of the couples got up to get a table in the dining room but were informed that it would be a 35 minute wait so they left. We quickly realized that this would not be a memorable evening at Chang's so we followed their lead. The ironic thing was that my wife had been there the day before at lunch and had a similar experience and the bartender that day handed out coupons to apologize for the poor experience. It would seem like Chang's would be better off to fix the peoblem, maybe put some staff on rather than hand out coupons.

Our experience was much better then some based on these reviews. Someone said the food was tasteless, to that person I would see a Dr because there may be something wrong with your tastebuds. I would accept someone saying it was not good but tasteless? I sampled all 4 meals of our dining party and they were all excellent. I would agree with the one reviewer that there is a lot of sodium in the dishes and they would have been better with less, hense the 4 stars. The soups were excellent with a real chicken broth, the lettuce wraps were good, great spring rolls (not the skinny kind you get at the local takeout joint). I am not a dessert fan but we got the fried bannanas with icecream, let me just say that I cleaned the plate and I was full before I even got to the dessert. The staff was great, no waiting, food came out on time and hot, fresh. My only suggestion is to use less sodium and I do not say this for health reasons, I do not go out to eat to be healthy, but the dishes do not need that much sodium to taste good...less is more sometimes. Overall we had a great experience. My dining buddies ate at several PF Changs in other locations and this one rates with the rest according to them..

The crab wontons are amazing and their spicy plum sauce puts Cheesecake Factory wontons to shame. My bf and I go to the white flint Changs all the time, but yesterday we were in Towson. Our waiter was friendly and informative. He told us what each sauce and oil was, and told us which ones were spicy and which ones were not. We were very impressed. He was quick with the food, and when he noticed that I barely ate my green tea noodles (way too salty) he took them off the bill without me even asking! Then dessert. He explained every single dessert in detail. I was sad to see that the SMore mini dessert is gone, but I tried the chocolate dome for the first time and it was sooo satisfying. We got our fortune cookies, and we didn't like our fortunes. He told us that he knew that the fortunes sometimes suck, so he gave us a bag of fortune cookies to go so we could find a better fortune. The best service I have had in years, we tipped over 20%. =)))

I love PF Changs in general, but the Towson location has got to be my favorite because of the wonderful staff. The first time I went was a few years ago while I was in college, and we had a very friendly and attentive server. I thought we just got lucky that day, but every time I've returned (been there about 8 times now) we've had equally exceptional servers. My favorite thing to order is the Crispy Honey Shrimp, but the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Lettuce wraps, and all the desserts are also fantastic. The flavors are not always what you would expect; I'd consider the fare Asian-fusion, but they are great at what they do, and I always leave satisfied. Don't go here expecting authentic fare, but do go expecting to leave with happy taste-buds.

I was shopping in the Towson area and was excited to accidently stumble upon the PF Changs. The location is a bit unfortunate as it is out of the actual shopping center, but perhaps as things evolve that will not be a large issue. I was there on a Saturday night, and the wait was 35-45 minutes for 2 which I found reasonable. We were seated promptly (only after 25 minutes). I have eaten at PF Changs in other locales, and so I am not newbie to the restaurant, but my dining companion was. Our server was attentive, prompt, and articulate, and did a nice job of explaning the sauces, entrees, etc. to my friend. We dined off the 'for two' menu and everything was excellent. We started with hot and sour soup and vegetable dumplings, and then we ordered mongolian beef and dali chicken for our entrees, and dessert was tiramisu and red velvet cake minis. The food was fresh, flavorful, the correct temperature and timed well (in reference to timing of presentation). The waitstaff advised us the dali chicken was the spiciest dish the restaurant offered, and although it had a nice flavor, I did not really perceive what I would consider true heat. Price was reasonable, only $45 pre tip, and I would most definitely return. Please be warned however, that caloric values for all dishes (even the vegetarian ones or the steamed ones) are high, and this will be a diet buster meal. Our meal per person was nearly 2400 calories. A nice and tasty splurge.

A brand new spot tacked on to the new additions at the Towson Town Center. The location looks the same as every other PFC I've been in, but the server staff definitely needs to get in the swing of things. My Fiancee and I were sat on a Tuesday afternoon at a table in an area with one other table and we waited 10 minutes before someone came by to give us water and check in. We ordered the lettuce wraps because normally they are pretty good, when we got them, they cut the lettuce into little discs that made folding them harder since it was all the white of the lettuce that didn't bend too well. The flavor was ok, but it seemed that the portion was smaller than we were used to. We ate without interruption or water refills. After the plate was empty we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for another appearance to get the check to pay, however we didn't get it, so we just put an approximate amount on the table and left. No one chased us down so I assume the amount was correct.

The service at this place absolutely reeks! We made a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night, arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were taken to a table in the dining room. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and walked off leaving my boyfriend, 2-year old son, and I standing there. We stood there waiting for a few minutes and were soon fetched by the hostess and brought back to the waiting area. A few minutes later we were taken back to the original table and sat. At least two other tables were also sat within moments of us sitting down and were waiting on almost immediately. By 6:20pm we still had not been seen by a water to order drinks. Eventually we wave down a waiter and as her what is going on, she assures us that our water will be over shortly. Our water?? Our waiter eventually gets to us, we notice that he was waiting on one of the tables that had been sat after us who was now eating their appetizers! We put in our drink order and ten minutes later we got our requested waters and the baby's juice but not our actual drinks. Finally able to order food. Ordered the Northern Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp for appetizer and the VIP Duck and a pan fried noodle dish for entree. Our appetizers arrive after another absurdly long wait time and a minute later our entrees arrive. After sitting in the restaurant for more than 50 minutes our table was flooded with food. The waiter once again screwed up the rice order and brought us white rice instead of brown and we ended up waiting for that to be corrected. Since our food arrived we were trying to make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the plethora of food in front of us when the waiter comes tableside with to-go boxes and bags. Doesn't ask if we want to see a dessert menu -- we were out celebrating my birthday -- doesn't ask us if we were finished! At that point I was completely over the meal, and told him to pack up our food and bring us the bill immediately. Of course another twenty minutes goes by before we can actually get out of the place. Needless to say, I have no plans on returning to an over-hyped, over-priced, under-staffed chinese food restaurant. It is an absolutely shame I cannot give them 0 stars.

Ill try to keep it short and sweet, drinks were made well, food was decent, not as good as white marsh's changs, but the service? HOLY HELL. Lets get one thing straight, I'm a drinker, not booze but water, iced tea, I'm a guzzler, I won't lie, but when my glasses are empty for 20+ minutes? WHATTT?? I'm sorry that's unacceptable, PLUS one food item came out cold, did they make me a fresh order? No they just retossed it in the wok. Gross.. This is not my first time at a P.F. Changs, but it is my first time at this location. I came to Towson Mall for some last minute shopping. Upon entering the garage, I spotted the sign for this restaurant. I suggested it to my boyfriend. He had yet eaten at one. It was a little confusing trying to get in (I was convinced there was a mall entered a, but could not find it). The revolving door was smaller than normal, but then again my boyfriend and I insisted on both entering at the same time. The restaurant is beautiful! Dim lighting with candle center pieces. Very romantic. We ordered the meal for two (a four course meal for two persons for $40). The food was AMAZING! Our server Alexa was very attentive and made note of my boyfriends allergy to mushrooms. I ordered a bottle of Jam Jar (suggested by Alexa) and it complimented my food choice. I work in a very high traffic casino at a famous chef's restaurant. I understand the standards of service that a guest should receive. I have to say I was impressed and would definitely return. Also, I noticed a gentleman (who i pressured to be of management) get on his hands and knees to pick up trash under a table. He also "got his hands dirty" and was helping bus tables. This is what I like to see, team work. Ok I'll hush now, but bravo on your establishment.

Not a fan of chains...but a visit to Towson University and a need for nourishment forced me to visit P F Changs. We had to put an APB out on our server; but once located she did meet our basic needs. MD temperatures were below freezing...I opted for the Chicken soup, egg rolls and the ginger beer...the soup was surprising well made with a depth of spiciness that I enjoyed along with the nicely made egg rolls (skip the accompanying super sweet sauce). I drained that ginger beer...and appreciated the cute slice of crystallized ginger in my glass. My lunch mates had honey chicken and another chicken dish (we don't know the name of it because it was not what we ordered!) Good option for Towson University visitors.

I am a great fan of PF Changs; howver, it took a while for us to be seated even though it appeared that the restaurant was a little on the empty side. This location's food was a tad bit salty...okay, well it was a lot salty. We both got the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and I am not sure if they got carried away with using soy sauce or if they really made it that salty. The sever was friendly a little on the slow side, but friendly. The restaurant was not full but it seemed like it took forever to get our food (over an hour). My husband got the Singapore street noodles with chicken and he couldn't even find the chicken.I'm sure it was hiding in there somewhere. I guess the chicken was avoiding the salt too! When we finally got it we really didn't to have a chance to eat it because we had to leave and go somewhere else...so much for lunch!!!!

I like this place for good and consistent Chinese style food. It's definitely a chain and you can pretty much get the same thing here as in another location, so when I'm craving a specific PF Chang's dish, I know what to expect. If you're trying to eat healthier, opt for the brown rice. I didn't realize it was an option until a great server told me about it. The nice thing is that you can specify what you would like to see in your dish whether it is a substitution to adding or lessening spice.

We ate here on Sunday and it was my first visit to a P.F Chang's. The outside looked nice and we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar seating area. I did notice that despite the fact the the restaurant was not very busy that the floor was dirty. Service was good and there were allot of good looking items on the menu. We opted for the dinner for 2. We go hot and sour soup and although it looked very savory the soup was hot but was very sweet. The fried dumpling appetizer was very good. My son got moo goo gai pan which he said was good and I got kung pao chicken which was cooked to death it was so dry it was hard to eat. When I went to the restroom they use the hallway for chair storage which seems odd and i had to move a chair to go down the hall. I had high expectations but all in all i think the food in your typical food court Chinese restaurant is much better.

Dined here on Christmas Day and didn't even need a reservation. Only place open in the area so we couldn't get through the mall to go into the restaurant. We ended up walking completely around to the other side which was bothersome in below 30 degree weather. Once there we were sat and waited on right away. We had a very attentive server but the speed of the food from back of house was another story., Soup and appetizer came out very quickly but the main dish seemed like it took forever. Some dishes seem very large while others very small. The food tasted good, don't get me wrong, but i still have tasted better from cheap Chinese food places and have gotten much more for my buck. I think you are mostly paying for ambiance and service here, even though the speed of the food coming out wasn't too great either. The restaurant itself is beautiful but honestly I don't see the experience being worth what I paid. Over $70 for two people and that's just using the pirx fixe menu. This is good for that rare occasion or a date but not for your typical dining experience.

I went there for lunch today, and, seriously? The service was AWFUL! The server would drop things off at the table and disappear before I could ask for something else. There were maybe two other tables in the restaurant, and I watched him chat with the table behind us at length. Meanwhile, we waited for drink refills so long, my friend had to call the manager over to get refills. It probably took 40 minutes to receive our food- for two people! I don't think we saw our waiter that entire time. There were no explanations or apologies. And, when we passed the manager on the way out, there was no, "how was everything?" Or even a goodbye or thank you. The chicken soup was delicious, but luckily there are other p.f. Chang's with good service in the area! This seems to be a consistent problem at this location, perhaps corporate needs to take notice....

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend tonight. I'm convinced he suggested this place solely due to his love of their egg drop soup, which he couldn't stop talking about. We started with sparkling sake, which was delicious and tasted just like champagne, steamed dumplings, crab wontons, spring rolls and, of course, egg drop soup. The egg drop soup really is remarkable; creamy and hearty. I would have preferred a soy ginger sauce with the dumplings rather than the chili sauce they came with. The crab wontons are perfection. Spring rolls were fresh and came with a delicious tangy sauce. For our mains, he went orange peel chicken and I crispy honey chicken. Mine was a bit bland but had a nice flavor. The crispy noodles add a fun textural element. His orange chicken was incredible. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was helpful and attentive. Bonus: we made a reservation and were seated at the exact time of our reservation. We will definitely be coming back.

This wouldn't have been an issue, but there were plenty of empty tables and a handful of tables waiting to be bused. The service here was really in the top 10 for worst service at a restaurant. Our server never introduced himself and wasn't attentive at all. We had to wait forever to put our order in and even longer to receive our food. Food was cold when it came out, who knows how long it had been ready. He didn't come back at all to check how everything was. No drink refills because we couldn't find him to ask. After ordering we dessert waited 10 minutes for forks and ended up taking the place settings from one of the unused tables before everything got even colder. The food was fine, the service was seriously subpar. There are better restaurants (and PF Changs) in the area to subject myself to this type of service again.

Been avoiding this place like the plague...chain food when so many odd little greasy Chinese joints abound, why bother? But we had a retirement party to attend, so, gave it a shot! Not bad- high quality ingredients - better than most Chinese carry-outs; appropriate saucing; but sauces were mostly sugar-based, with a bit of soy- pleasant but bland. All the chicken dishes tasted pretty identical, just garnished differently. Same for shrimp and beef. Just sweet and soy-ish. For any real spice, I had to chew the whole dried cayennes in the kung pao chicken. Appetizers were hit or miss- spring rolls were oddly bland. Crab wontons and dynmatie shrimp were good- the crab esp. better than typical carry out, had actual crab in it! Soups were good- almost 100% standard Chinese carry out. Atmosphere was clean, nicely decorated. Service was friendly..but sooooo slow. Also wish they had plain black tea as a selection from their tea menu. Overall-- OK. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. I much prefer the ghetto China Wok by North Avenue. The chicken isn't as high quality, but the sauces are full of garlic and chilies, and have that toasty wok flavor. But if you enjoy slightly salty sweetened white meat chicken in a corporate-clean atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars right now is because of the takeout guy that we usually deal with...he has dreds and is basically the boss! Now on to tonight...it's 9:00pm and we walk in without a res but I would be fine to wait for a table if the dinning room was full...but it's not full...far from it! There were 24 tables ... Count them 24(!) ... Open and not bused. People waiting at the bar waiting outside in the rain and people sitting inside the door. Mean while the hostess station has 3 girls doing nothing...watching me count the empty tables as they say my wait is 40 minutes! I see why we usually deal with the boss Dreds and not dine in. So sad.

I was at PF Changs recently and I was befuddled at why the place is always near-empty. Good location, good food, good service, I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, it was a great night. My date and I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded, which is what we wanted. Dimly light, attentive service, we were happy. It took no time to be seated and it seemed like everyone from the host to the waitress to the manager on duty made a point to come by and ask how did we like everything, were we happy, did we need anything, etc. My date and I did the prix fixe and got hot and sour soup (me), egg drop soup (him), lettuce wraps, mongolian beef (him), crispy honey shrimp (me), and a salted caramel/melted chocolate thing for dessert. It was all good and came out on time. I've been there maybe twice before and the food and service has always been good.

Given that my boyfriend and I had never eaten at a P.F. Chang's, we thought we'd go try it out. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty for a weekend night - that should have been our first indication to leave and head the T.G.I Friday's instead. Our server was well-spoken enough, but sort of abandoned us half-way through the meal, leaving our glasses unfilled and making us wait 20 or so minutes after we were done just to flag him down for the bill. [It seemed he was too busy paying attention to the bigger parties and sort of just let the two of us fall by the wayside.] The food was... mediocre. I had the mapo tofu which was made of crispy tofu cubes in place of the normal silken tofu. My boyfriend had the sweet & sour pork which he described as fried fatty bits of meat. [It also had finely chopped pieces of ginger which can't really be picked out so watch out for those.] Rice (white or brown) comes with all entrees and can't be substituted. The best thing of the evening was the spring rolls we had as an appetizer. I regret listening to the waiter and getting an entree instead of the salt & pepper calamari appetizer. If you come here, stick with the appetizers - they're your safest bet. Also, I found it amusing that the server emphasized serving dishes in a "family-style" manner in an attempt to appear more like an authentic Chinese restaurant. They try so hard, but they'll always be the Olive Garden of Chinese restaurants.

I wouldn't even give this PF Chang's a 1 star. I am highly allergic to mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms in the chicken lettuce wraps, no problem right? So the waiter comes back and tells me no, they can not change the recipe. I explain to her every other Chang's restaurant I go to takes the mushrooms and the mushroom sauce out for me. She tells me she's going to get the manager to ask him, and comes back without the manager, tells me he said sorry they can NOT accommodate my allergies! We left, and will never go back to this establishment ever again!

It's a pretty busy Saturday night - not to mention there's a homecoming in town (Morgan State University! #proudalumni) so our wait was suppose to be 45-50 minutes but ended up being 10 (SWEET!) Dined here last night with friends and service was great UNTIL I found a ROCK in my noodle dish. A ROCK! I was eating a rock and now possibly have a cracked tooth thanks to P F Chang's in Towson. Once the manager came out to look at the rock he told me everything is made fresh. Are you kidding me? The manager was very rude to me and was giving me an attitude. He told me that he would take care of my dinner like that is a question. I am absolutely mortified with this chain and level of service on management's role. I also contacted the the Operating Partner by email and by telephone and still no response. I will make sure corporate is aware of this problem. The only person I can say was polite and apologized was our waitress I believe her name was Jennifer. She played the manager role better then the manager on duty. I could have chocked and the manager did not seem to care what so ever. I am lost for words on how I was treated. I am not a product, I am a HUMAN who wanted to eat dinner peacefully with my friends. P F Chang's in Towson is a complete faliure to my care.

The first time when I went to PF Chang, I ordered the firecracker shrimp and I was in awe. Till this day, that was the most amazing shrimp-related appetizer I have ever had in my entire life. Of course I went back there for more, and the second time when I was there (only less than 1 month apart), I ordered the firecracker shrimp again and expected that they were just as good as the first time, but eh-eh, that dish was not half as good as my first experience. So I thought the chef just had a bad day. However, when the fourth time I dined there and the food was nothing but mediocre, I gave up. That was 2 years ago, and I wish someday I will be able to taste the perfectly done firecracker shrimp one more time...

The food here is great! A bit on the pricey side but nothing unexpected. Usually when I come here I get the Dinner for Two Deal which is great considering all the delicious food you get. Portion sizes can be a bit small but I mostly excuse it because the taste makes up for it. Egg Drop Soup, Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Orange Chicken and the Crab Fried Rice are definite favorites between friends and I. And their Great Wall of Chocolate is absolutely amazing! The slice we got was huge as well. The raspberry sauce they use for it is absolutely scrumptious I couldnt help myself to more of it. Wait staff is a hit or miss depending on who you get. Service is usually agreeable but once or twice I had a waiter/tress who forgot about us and/or rushed us to order.

For what it is (an affordable large chain restaurant) PF Chang is a great option for larger parties. I made reservations for a party of ten in advance and we had a great experience. Due to a storm we were a half hour late and they welcomed us without any trouble. The service in general was really was made our evening. Everything was seamless and the staff anticipated our every need. Our amazing server made the best menu suggestions, including having us order the right amount of appetizers. Glasses were never empty, and all needs were met without fail. He even allowed my sister to enjoy her alcohol-free wine. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. I'd go back with a large party in a heartbeat. I wish there had been an inside entrance from the mall given the bad weather, but that's not bad if that's all I can complain about. Yummy food, warm atmosphere, good prices and great service. You can't go wrong.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because we had a charming waitress. But the food here is really poorly prepared and chock full of sodium!. I would have had a better Chinese meal at Panda express!. Where to start?. First we had the crunchy green beans. They were neither crunchy( supposed to be deep fried) or fresh. Instead they were oil soaked soggy green beans. 2nd course was the pan fried potstickers filled with shrimp. These would have been fine if the chef had laid off the salt which overwhelmed the dish!. For our entrees we had the honey chicken and orange chicken. These were mediocre at beet. But at least they were edible. For dessert we had the mini portion of the chocolate tower and cheesecake. The desserts were bland. Sara lee would have tasted better. Oh well serves me right for going to a western chain restaurant for Chinese food!.

Changs needs to hire more team members like him. One person on your staff can make or break your success based on simple interactions. Great job!

This is the only PF Chang's I've been to, and I've only gone once, during the day. There was only one other couple there. The food was good, and I can only expect it's what you would get at any restaurant. Our server was nice, and the restaurant is very pretty and modern looking. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

It was a cold Saturday morning, and we were close to Towson Mall; we decided to head to P.F. Changs for some warm soup. We were the first ones there and had a warm welcome. We ordered the wonton soup as an appetizer and many different entrees, including chow mein and Kung pao shrimp. It took a good 20 mins. for the soup to come out after ordering. The people around us, who arrived after us because we were first, got their appetizers before we did! The soup was lukewarm, rather than hot. So that was a negative. Although, the kindness of the staff made up for the late wonton soup. The noodles were great as well as the shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken "to go" for my brother at home. Once home, we gave him the food; it tasted and smelled like airplane food. That's no bueno. There was way too much sauce rather than meat. And the rice was too soggy because of the abundance of sauce. I'd only go back there for the great staff and the good chow mein.

This was my worst PFC experience, anywhere. I was with my sister, who'd never had P.F. Chang's- so I suggested we try it out. I've been to a lot of PFC's in other states and I've always had (consistently) good food. I was really disappointed here, for a few reasons...our appetizers (crab wontons and steamed veggie dumplings) were cold. Our entrees (veggie lo mein and chicken w/veggies/white sauce-forgot the name) were also cold. It was the worst lo mein I've ever had- besides being cold, it was gummy and had no flavor. We tried to order drinks, when our entrees arrived, but we were told that the bar was closed- this was 30 min. before the restaurant was going to stop serving and we were never told that the bar was closing early. I hate going to restaurants right before closing, but when I looked online, it showed we had an hour...maybe they closed early because it was slow, but it would have been nice to have been given the option to order while we still had a chance. I wouldn't go back, but our server was nice and so was the food runner.

Undoubtably PF Changs is the "olive garden" of Chinese food. Not authentic by any means, but still 'effin delicious! I've been several times for birthdays, bachelorette dinners, dates or lunch with mom and every time it's the same experience - a wait to be seated, good food, a bit pricey and a bomb diggity key-lime pie martini (note: do NOT skip the key-lime pie martini) I've had several of the dishes at PF Changs and they are really really good - for appetizers, the crab wontons are fantastic, and so are the lettuce wraps. Nom nom nom! For the main course the honey walnut shrimp is off the hook and so is the buddha bowl. For desert they have these little mini shots of different cakes - chocolate, strawberry, key-lime. All good. Basically to sum up PF Changs - it is a chain. And the food is good. But slightly pricey. I don't go often but when I do I enjoy it.

I echo many of the other reviews. If you are looking for a best Chinese food around, head over to the Szechuan House in Lutherville. PF Changs is my preferred business Chinese place. The service and food quality are predictable. Fortunately, I have always had crispy green beans that were crispy. I like pineapple juice for lunch and when I order it, I request a water glass sized drink. Since this is a business expense, I don't care about paying a few dollars more. Occasionally though, I get a small glass (annoying) or juice which has turned south. I usually order the Kung Pao Scallops with brown rice, and it is the same no matter which location I order from. I did have one bizarre customer service experience though. Since I am a regular, I was approached by a manager and encouraged to sign up for their loyalty program. I figured he'd get brownie points and they were a decent place, so I filled out the form at the table. They gave me a 'happy cat' card on the spot. A week later, another 'happy cat' card came in the mail. They had different numbers on the back. The next time I went to P.F. Changs, I put both into the billfold along with my credit card and receipt. I had no idea what to expect. The waiter came back and said neither of the 'happy cat' cards were valid, nor was there any kind of reward, and that the 'happy cat' cards were being discontinued. Bizarre, eh? So I contacted their customer support. They apologized and repeated what the waiter told me and said they have a new loyalty card, the 'stern warrior'. She said they are still trying to figure this 'loyalty thing' out (it sounds to me like learning how to drive a car while it is going down the highway). I could fill out another form and they would send the 'stern warrior' to me. Weird, huh? So I did. The 'stern warrior' card arrived and I used it my next time at PF Changs. Guess what? No reward. I told the waiter my experiences and he brought us a free dessert. After that, I have been back about six times. Each time, I get 10% off on my check.

Not impressed at all. I've had many people tell me how delicious P.F. Chang's is and how authentic it is. Unfortunately, I've had much, much better Chinese food at simple hole-in-the-wall restaurants than here. I got the Singaporean Rice Noodles and it was O.K.; not the best not the worst. At every Chinese restaurant we go to, we always try the hot and sour soup. It's one of my favorite soups and I wasn't impressed with P.F. Chang's. It was watered down and just boring. More sour than hot. I don't think I'd spend the money to go back here. I have to say, I'm a little relieved that Yelp reflects how my experience was. I was beginning to think maybe I was crazy!

I visited pf changs earlier today had the chicken fried rice and spicy changs chicken. Three hours later I was throwing it all up. That food made me so sick. I will never return to this restaurant. I called the restaurant to tell the manager of how sick I got and maybe there was something bad in the food. Her response was it takes 24 hours for a food borne illness to take effect which is not true.

Man this was one hell of a experience in restaurant hell. We went here for a friend's birthday with about 10 other friends on a busy Friday night. The average age of the servers is around 18. I could tell you about the food (tasteless) and the service (slow and inaccurate) but why bother. I have something better. The waiter walks out of the kitchen at about 45 MPH with a full tray of food. He stops at our table and, you guessed it, everything flies off the tray and onto our table. Broken glass everywhere, including one friend's eye and in our already-served food (btw, about 20 minutes before this, another waiter dropped a tray of glasses across the room). They, including 2 managers, apologize and say they will discount our bill for the inconvenience. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they did NOT discount anything. I felt bad for the kid so I didn't bother calling for a refund or complaining to corporate. I was a waiter back in the day and I know you feel like dog doo for days after mishaps like that. BUT, we will never go back.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was busy so we went to the bar area. There was a young lady (assumed to be the manager) doing something at the register with her back to us and 3 other guests at the bar. She never acknowledged us or greeted us, finished her work and left the bar, now no staff was there. After a while 4 more guests sat at the bar, so went to the hostess and inquired where the bartender was, and she informed me there would be one there soon. A gentleman did show up at the bar, but he appeared to be the only bartender on duty and he was also the waiter for all the tables in the bar area. One of the couples got up to get a table in the dining room but were informed that it would be a 35 minute wait so they left. We quickly realized that this would not be a memorable evening at Chang's so we followed their lead. The ironic thing was that my wife had been there the day before at lunch and had a similar experience and the bartender that day handed out coupons to apologize for the poor experience. It would seem like Chang's would be better off to fix the peoblem, maybe put some staff on rather than hand out coupons.

Our experience was much better then some based on these reviews. Someone said the food was tasteless, to that person I would see a Dr because there may be something wrong with your tastebuds. I would accept someone saying it was not good but tasteless? I sampled all 4 meals of our dining party and they were all excellent. I would agree with the one reviewer that there is a lot of sodium in the dishes and they would have been better with less, hense the 4 stars. The soups were excellent with a real chicken broth, the lettuce wraps were good, great spring rolls (not the skinny kind you get at the local takeout joint). I am not a dessert fan but we got the fried bannanas with icecream, let me just say that I cleaned the plate and I was full before I even got to the dessert. The staff was great, no waiting, food came out on time and hot, fresh. My only suggestion is to use less sodium and I do not say this for health reasons, I do not go out to eat to be healthy, but the dishes do not need that much sodium to taste good...less is more sometimes. Overall we had a great experience. My dining buddies ate at several PF Changs in other locations and this one rates with the rest according to them..

The crab wontons are amazing and their spicy plum sauce puts Cheesecake Factory wontons to shame. My bf and I go to the white flint Changs all the time, but yesterday we were in Towson. Our waiter was friendly and informative. He told us what each sauce and oil was, and told us which ones were spicy and which ones were not. We were very impressed. He was quick with the food, and when he noticed that I barely ate my green tea noodles (way too salty) he took them off the bill without me even asking! Then dessert. He explained every single dessert in detail. I was sad to see that the SMore mini dessert is gone, but I tried the chocolate dome for the first time and it was sooo satisfying. We got our fortune cookies, and we didn't like our fortunes. He told us that he knew that the fortunes sometimes suck, so he gave us a bag of fortune cookies to go so we could find a better fortune. The best service I have had in years, we tipped over 20%. =)))

I love PF Changs in general, but the Towson location has got to be my favorite because of the wonderful staff. The first time I went was a few years ago while I was in college, and we had a very friendly and attentive server. I thought we just got lucky that day, but every time I've returned (been there about 8 times now) we've had equally exceptional servers. My favorite thing to order is the Crispy Honey Shrimp, but the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Lettuce wraps, and all the desserts are also fantastic. The flavors are not always what you would expect; I'd consider the fare Asian-fusion, but they are great at what they do, and I always leave satisfied. Don't go here expecting authentic fare, but do go expecting to leave with happy taste-buds.

I was shopping in the Towson area and was excited to accidently stumble upon the PF Changs. The location is a bit unfortunate as it is out of the actual shopping center, but perhaps as things evolve that will not be a large issue. I was there on a Saturday night, and the wait was 35-45 minutes for 2 which I found reasonable. We were seated promptly (only after 25 minutes). I have eaten at PF Changs in other locales, and so I am not newbie to the restaurant, but my dining companion was. Our server was attentive, prompt, and articulate, and did a nice job of explaning the sauces, entrees, etc. to my friend. We dined off the 'for two' menu and everything was excellent. We started with hot and sour soup and vegetable dumplings, and then we ordered mongolian beef and dali chicken for our entrees, and dessert was tiramisu and red velvet cake minis. The food was fresh, flavorful, the correct temperature and timed well (in reference to timing of presentation). The waitstaff advised us the dali chicken was the spiciest dish the restaurant offered, and although it had a nice flavor, I did not really perceive what I would consider true heat. Price was reasonable, only $45 pre tip, and I would most definitely return. Please be warned however, that caloric values for all dishes (even the vegetarian ones or the steamed ones) are high, and this will be a diet buster meal. Our meal per person was nearly 2400 calories. A nice and tasty splurge.

I like P.F. Chang's and am delighted that they have opened a location in Towson. The food is Chinese, but with unusual twists that people either love or hate depending on their attachment to more traditional "Chinese" dishes found in American restaurants. A perfect example would be the crab wontons. Traditional? No way. Superb? In my opinion, yes. I really like that brown rice is an option and that they have a real wine list. In terms of prices, appetizer and dinner for two without alcohol will run you $40-60. They do have a more economical lunch menu that I have not tried. I have only been to this location for lunch so far and have avoided the lines that one usually finds at P.F. Chang's in other locations. I do wonder whether this unit will survive its awful location. Technically, it is part of the Towson Town Mall, but there is no way to get to it without exiting the mall. The only entrance is on the corner of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmont Avenue. One has to park in one of the mall garages and leave the mall either by Cheesecake Factory or TGI Fridays and then walk to the corner to get in.

My friend came to visit and said, "I must have P.F. Chang's." I did enjoy that they had a sign by the hostess stand that said, "It's restaurant week every week at P.F. Chang's with our menu." Ha! Anyway, we were seated promptly and our waiter was James. He had a great smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed laughing just as much as we did. My friend did not like her hot and sour soup and he exchanged it for the egg drop soup without a problem. The food was hot and fresh and super delicious. James recommended the mongolian beef and I fell in love. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was superb! We had a really great time. If you go, request James as your waiter! He was great! :)

I've been to PF Chang's a few times at different locations, and this weekend I had lunch at the Towson restaurant for the first time. I ordered the wok seared lamb which was seasoned quite nicely. My issue was the server. I could see other tables being waited on appropiately so it may not be entirely fair to rate the restaurant down for one waitress, but the experience left such a bitter taste that I'll probably never go back there. It seemed like more than 30 minutes between each time we saw our waitress, so the total time from ordering drinks to paying our check was over two and a half hours. In addition, we had a couple with a one year old in our party, and we made it clear that mild expedition would be appreciated. The waitress was nice and well versed in the menu, but lack of presence just ruined the meal because it was all we could think about. If it's not to inconvenient, hit the downtown location or the one in Columbia mall.

A brand new spot tacked on to the new additions at the Towson Town Center. The location looks the same as every other PFC I've been in, but the server staff definitely needs to get in the swing of things. My Fiancee and I were sat on a Tuesday afternoon at a table in an area with one other table and we waited 10 minutes before someone came by to give us water and check in. We ordered the lettuce wraps because normally they are pretty good, when we got them, they cut the lettuce into little discs that made folding them harder since it was all the white of the lettuce that didn't bend too well. The flavor was ok, but it seemed that the portion was smaller than we were used to. We ate without interruption or water refills. After the plate was empty we sat for another 15 minutes waiting for another appearance to get the check to pay, however we didn't get it, so we just put an approximate amount on the table and left. No one chased us down so I assume the amount was correct.

The service at this place absolutely reeks! We made a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night, arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were taken to a table in the dining room. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and walked off leaving my boyfriend, 2-year old son, and I standing there. We stood there waiting for a few minutes and were soon fetched by the hostess and brought back to the waiting area. A few minutes later we were taken back to the original table and sat. At least two other tables were also sat within moments of us sitting down and were waiting on almost immediately. By 6:20pm we still had not been seen by a water to order drinks. Eventually we wave down a waiter and as her what is going on, she assures us that our water will be over shortly. Our water?? Our waiter eventually gets to us, we notice that he was waiting on one of the tables that had been sat after us who was now eating their appetizers! We put in our drink order and ten minutes later we got our requested waters and the baby's juice but not our actual drinks. Finally able to order food. Ordered the Northern Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp for appetizer and the VIP Duck and a pan fried noodle dish for entree. Our appetizers arrive after another absurdly long wait time and a minute later our entrees arrive. After sitting in the restaurant for more than 50 minutes our table was flooded with food. The waiter once again screwed up the rice order and brought us white rice instead of brown and we ended up waiting for that to be corrected. Since our food arrived we were trying to make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the plethora of food in front of us when the waiter comes tableside with to-go boxes and bags. Doesn't ask if we want to see a dessert menu -- we were out celebrating my birthday -- doesn't ask us if we were finished! At that point I was completely over the meal, and told him to pack up our food and bring us the bill immediately. Of course another twenty minutes goes by before we can actually get out of the place. Needless to say, I have no plans on returning to an over-hyped, over-priced, under-staffed chinese food restaurant. It is an absolutely shame I cannot give them 0 stars.
