It's a competent Noodles & Co. location. The food is good, and tastes like what you'd get at any Noodles & Co. location. The staff is mostly friendly, if a little absent-minded. I wouldn't normally be compelled to write a review of a chain restaurant, but there is a seriously FOUL SMELL near the soda fountain. You can smell it at 10 paces. It's mold. I've been there a handful of times in the past few months and the smell remains. It's gross and needs to be fixed. It makes me scared of what else is going ignored in this restaurant if the staff is totally cool with that nasty mold smell (which can be smelled from the register and several tables) and doesn't take steps to find mold and remove it and replace whatever is harboring the smell. Clean it up, guys. Seriously. It's a restaurant. People eat there. There is no way the staff doesn't smell it; it's stronger than the pee of a 10,000 tom cats. It's gross. Do something about it.

I have always enjoyed the food here, but the service recently has been horrible. We asked for an extra bowl of noodles after our initial order, and it took so long to come out that no one even wanted to eat them at that point.

This was my first itme here about two weeks ago and I was very impressed. I had the fresh lettuce wraps and the pasta. The service was extremely fast and friendly. I think this is the perfect lunch spot and the noodles are delicious. The only issue I had was once the noodles set in, they began to stick together. That was my only gripe! But I will be abck to experience this and maybe all the items ont he menu!

Compared to the Noodles & Company I frequently visit at home, I did not appreciate this one. The woman at the register was very unfriendly and then became extremely rude when I asked for a new cup for my water. My first cup had a large piece of food stuck to it, which she snatched back from me after I requested something else. I didn't appreciate that at all. Other than that disappointment, my food was good. And the time I spent in the dining room was decent.

I know they're trying, but they need to try harder. What do I mean? For starters, clean the damned tables. We ate here at the beginning of lunch on a Saturday, so there was no excuse for 90% of the tables to be covered in crumbs, and other sticky food detritus. So what-was it left that way from the previous day? Because I know they don't server breakfast-ya-know?! For seconds, don't just wrap the damned cutlery in a napkin, try WASHING the silverware THOROUGHLY before bundling it up in the napkin papoose swaddling! We had to ask for new silverware twice and still ended up washing it off with a napkin...good motivation to use the pre-wrapped chopsticks, I guess. We got our food-Japanese broad noodles and the Indonesian peanut noodles-both with fried tofu. The Japanese noodle dish was unidimensionally soy-salty in spite of the cilantro, sesame seeds and vegetables. The Indonesian noodles were (refreshingly) spicy hot, but it lacked any true peanut taste. I know-what do I expect from a chain restaurant that's attempting to do something besides sliders and fries?! Like I said, it's an attempt at something different, but maybe the seasoning needs a re-vamping from people that know about these ethnic dishes.

Noodles and company is a great little quick lunch or dinner spot. The food is consistent, tastes fresh and delivered to the table hot and fast. The Towson location is generally clean and orderly, and the staff is pleasant and accommodating. If you need something fast, and want to avoid fast food, Noodles is a nice choice.

I eat at Noodles & Company often but this was my first visit to this location. The cashier was pleasant and professional but that is where the niceties end. She gave us a number and as soon as my friend and I sat down a young man came over with a tray of food and ask if it was what we ordered. We said no and he proceeded to the next table to ask the same question. What is the purpose of giving us a number if you will still walk around allowing others to breath on the food until you discover its true owner. Then two employees stood near us while having a loud personal conversation. The restaurant was nearly empty on this Friday night so I don't know why they had to hang out right near us. Their personal conversation continued as they were bringing food out for other customers. The held the tray of food and finished their sentences before presenting customers with their food. However, this alone is not the cause for the low rating. I had eaten half of my food and saved the rest for the next day. When I awakened in the middle of the night with a serious case of the bubble guts, I did not immediately attribute my affliction to my meal from Noodles & Company. It was not until I had the remainder of the food for lunch and experienced the same results that I realized the culprit was my meal. Uncouth behavior with a side of stomach sickness was not what I had in mind. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. Wash your hands people.

This is place #1 in my "I don't feel like cooking, so I walk across the street" dining plan. the dining room and everything is usually clean. It is never packed here, save a few groups of Towson students. The portions are decently sized and the bowls are the reusable type. I have tried the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese, and found that adding more cheese in lieu of a cheese sauce is not the right answer. That would equal Farfalle plus cheddar cheese. I also have a beef with it not being baked(even a little bit, please?) The Whole Wheat Linguini was dry, but the accompanying peppers pick up the slack. Olive oil is your friend... N&C has a great niche market as Chipotle gets impatiently crowded, and Einstein Bros closes early. and Red Robin, Applebee's, Gino's and Glory Days are almost the same place(s)... PS. Always order without meat. It's not that serious, people...

Noodles is my daughter's favorite quick dinner restaurant and it is lovely to have one in Towson instead of having to drive to White Marsh. She is a big fan of the pesto noodle bowl, and after trying several other things on the menu and being generally disappointed with the Asian selections, I have come to agree with her. Nice clean spot, fast service, free drink refills. Not a fine dining experience or a genuine ethnic dining experience, but it fills a niche.

The asian noodles I ordered were kinda slimy (overcooked) and the chicken was that fake, reconstituted chicken breast like what they have at McDonald's. The pot stickers were flat and lacking filling and flavor. The order took forever to arrive and our plastic cups were really, really dirty. Overall a very "blah" experience in both service and quality of food.

Got the Thai hot pot. It looked like dirty dishwater with left over rags in it. It came with a few kinds of "meat" that I could not actually identify. There were, oddly enough, too few noodles. And I am not sure why there was some type of pulled meat in it. I cannot imagine being hungry enough to eat there again. I would get better flavor from boiling my shoe.

Shout Out to the Yelp homie Erika F. for the pictures she supplied in her Noodles & Company-Pikesville review. Her photos had me salivating over my company's keyboard & led me to go visit my local Noodles & Co after work for dindin. I got to this location around 8pm on a weeknight and, unlike the previous reviewers, I did not see a filthy/disgusting dining room. There were, however, several customers dining at the time of my visit so who's to say if maybe their tables would have went uncleaned for a while once they left? Dunno/DontCare either way as all I can speak for is my food & takeout experience and I was definitely satisfied on both counts. All the staff members I encountered (from the ones behind the counter to the kind young sir cleaning the beverage station) were pleasant and quick to greet me with a smile. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken over penne rosa (withadded olives because they're my best friends) which was great and I also had the tomato basil bisque which was on the money honey! Yum Yum! Speaking of money, my meal ran me about $8 with no drink, which I was a little put off by, but eh, for a "smedium" bowl of pasta and soup that satisfied my tumtum, I'll save my complaints..this time.

Tapping into America's obsession with mass carbicide, Noodles and Company has built a 250+ unit empire across almost 20 states on a foundation of already cliched American, Mediterranean, and Asian-inspired pasta and noodle dishes. Noodles and Company attempts to bring international flavors to suburbia, but deeming this effort would be like calling the International House of Pancakes the United Nations Ambassador of Breakfast: a faulty and inevitably mistake-prone analogy. On a return trip to Baltimore, I stopped by the Towson location for a late afternoon lunch. I'm not a fine dining snob by any means, but I certainly didn't have high (or any) expectations for a chain-restaurant where one line cook churns out dishes as diverse as Penne Rossa, Japanese Pan Noodles, and Mushroom Stroganoff. Out of sheer carb-induced curiosity, we decided to sample Asia (Pad Thai), Italy (Pesto Cavatappi), and the Heartland (Wisconsin Mac & Cheese). The Pad Thai had a metallic, sugary glaze, a syrupy reduction of my cumulative disappointment with cheap Thai takeout. The Pesto Cavatappi was a little better; although I appreciated that it was heavy on the parmesan, nevertheless, it was light on the basil and pine nuts. The Mac & Cheese was a surprising high note, with the cheesy pasta and herb-inflected meatballs nostalgically reminding me of the pallid Marie Callendar TV-dinners that I used to wolf down as a latch-key kid. What impressed me though was the modern interior design and the efficient service. Within minutes of ordering, the line cook delivered a seemingly palatable noodle dish from the immaculate, stainless steel kitchen directly to the table. The restaurant was enjoyable to sit in: with deep, roomy banquettes and minimalist chairs, it looked like a larger, airier, version of Chipotle or a comfortable airport lounge.

Had a craving for some pasta so I decided to try them out. Not bad but not great, it served its purpose. I had the steak stroganoff and the pasta was good but the meat tastes processed and fake. Sorry. I won't be going back. On a positive note, the customer service was great!

Plenty of parking spaces welcome you to the best place for fast, great noodle dishes. Layout of the restaurant whisks one through the ordering line to beverage station to seating which varies from intimate to larger tables. Having tried many dishes on the menu, you can't make a wrong selection. And if you want something off the menu, my daughter's fav is the Bacon Mac: mac n cheese with bread crumbs, diced meatballs, bacon, and diced tomatoes. Hold the tomatoes and it's a rather nice twist on the Mac.

Good pasta dishes for the price & convenience. They offer a nice variety of Asian, Italian & "American" flavored dishes also including salads, soups & sandwiches though I always tend to stick with the pasta. Fast & friendly service. Great option for a quick meal option that's different from the usual pizza & subs, Chinese or Mexican food. Recommend the Penne Rosa!

Been here for takeout once for dinner another time for lunch. Each time I've been disappointed with my congealed noodles. While I know it is a fast food type concept, it still is disappointing when you can't finish your meal. Maybe it is best to eat here when the meal is fresh off the stove and hasn't had five minutes to travel.

I have given this place many chances. On one occasion, we paid for two drinks, and the soda machine was down - great. Maybe it was a good thing considering the smell coming from that area. It would have been nice to at least offer one of the bottled drinks instead. A lot of the tables were dirty, too. I usually just stick to carry-out, but they can screw that up, too. I ordered a Med Salad which is only good because of the dressing, and they forgot the dressing. The noodles are consistently dry. I guess they are trying to conserve sauce, but that's pretty counterproductive when it makes you lose customers. Worst of all, once when I had a bigger order, the manager seemed to be annoyed by rolling her eyes each time I ordered another item. I observed that she also treated her employees with equal disrespect.

Noodles & Co is a fairly solid place for a range of Asian or Italian style noodle dishes. I eat here pretty often when I'm out in the 'burbs doing some big box shopping. It satisfies my carb cravings. I find the portions to be generous; I can't eat an entire bowl by myself and typically share one with my husband unless we're abnormally hungry. Staff is friendly, though sometimes can be slow. As others have noted, there is definitely an odd smell that needs to be addressed in there...

I've eaten at other Noodles & Co. locations before with yummy results but my only experience at this location was pretty bad. The staff was pleasant and ambiance was fine. The salad and noodles and sauce were okay but my tofu was badly burnt and some pieces were tough and dry. I would have complained but I had gotten it to go and didn't know anything was wrong. I didn't have time to take it back. I was there about an hour before closing. I can't believe the cook thought it was okay to serve it.

My lunchmate decided on this place for lunch and I was hesitant because I wasn't impressed from my visit many years ago. I thought, what the heck, I'll give it another shot. The BUFF Bangkok Curry with organic tofu was pretty tasty. I've also tried the pad thai; just meh. This place isn't too bad afterall.

Although I really like Noodles & Co. as a brand and I like their menu, this location is the pits. The restaurant is clean and the food is consistently good but I definitely wouldn't want to eat in the dining area.

Noodles & Co. Is a great business, but THIS specific location has some of the worst service in the "quality fast food" segment I have ever experienced. I took my wife to this location for dinner. The place was about 1/3 full or customers. We place our order to dine in, and realize the cashier never gave us a numbered placard for table delivery purposes. The cashier had a lazy attitude and just didn't want to be there. No eye contact, no pleasant attitude. I go back and remind her we are dining in and remind her of her own process. She gives us a number. I go back to our booth. By the time I sit down an employee approaches us, I assumed it was the manager, and she explains to my wife that they were "out of" the noodles her dish requires. They'll have to make more and it will take 10 additional minutes. Let that marinade for a moment. Noodles & Co. is out of noodles (or running low). Were the large and frequent requests an abnormal trend? While sitting there we took notice of all of the tables left with dirty dishes. We counted 4 tables or booths with dirty plates resting on them for at least 20 minutes each. It was really filthy. To contribute to the overall disheveled vibe, the drink counter with straws and napkins looked like an absolute pile of confusion. To be fair, there were at least 6 employees working at the time, and the crowd was very light When the food arrived the guy who dropped it off was talking to us, but we could barely understand him. He spoke softly and used few words. It was awkward. Additionally, the table across from us had their food delivered by the same guy, and he never gave them utensils. Finally, on our way out a light surge in customers arrived and there was a small line. The "manager" jumped behind a cash register and announced "I can help the next person. I CAN HELP THE NEXT PERSON!" It was just flat out rude how the manager barked the prompt to to come over and order. Conclusion: Great food at a low and fair price, fun flavors and different pasta dishes than the usual Italian Restaurant. But if you're looking for service you might run into a manager with no customer service "touch", a server who mumbles, and a cashier who would rather choke on noodles to end her shift rather than do their job. To improve their rating, management would have to focus on service with the goal of achieving a "Chic-Fil-A" level of customer service.

I usually really like noodles and company but I guess today is probably the wrong time of year to dine here. It's the last Sunday before Christmas and the restaurant wasn't really that busy but over half the tables are dirty and unusable. There's one girl clearing tables but she doesn't clean them after she picks up the dishes; the place is really filthy. Noodles and company usually has free WiFi, and when the manager delivered my food to the table I asked her about the wifi not being on. Reply was maybe be rebooted; that was 10 minutes ago and it still doesn't show up so she never took the one minute to reboot. Check out the photos they were all taken in about 5 minutes of each other. Take notice of the pictures of before and after, and also the photo of the employee busing the tables (she has no cleaning towel to wipe down the tables). This is disgusting! If the hygiene practices out front are reflective of the entire kitchen this is bad news. I will never eat here again at this location and I would recommend you never eat here as well. If I could I would give this location a zero star rating. After finishing my meal I pulled the manager aside and told her how disgusted I was with the front of the house and commented about how it might reflect on the back of the house.

The four star rating is largely for the great carryout that they have at Noodles & Company, and definitely not for the dining room. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the tables are often really dirty, and the dining room normally just looks, well, un-looked after. The servers are always polite, however, and they have never messed up any part of my order. As a vegetarian, N&C is great because almost every item on the menu comes vegetarian with the option to add tofu. I've tried most of the items on the menu, and the Japanese Pan Noodles are fantastic, the Macaroni and Cheese is great if you are in the mood for indulgence and an extra 3 hours working out, and the Pesto Cavatappi is also really great. If you're going in on a budget, beware of the temptation to order lots of things and stick to the Trio, where you can get a portion of one of the entrees with a protein added (tofu in my case) and a side item (go for the mixed green side salad or the caesar side salad). As long as you come in with the intention to carry out, you won't be disappointed!

For an inexpensive quick meal that isn't fried, this place is great. We dined on the outside patio which was clean and comfortable -- there are umbrellas to provide some shade too. I was really impressed with the service. The cashier was very friendly and patient and even made sure we didn't forget our to-go order for my son as we were leaving. The server brought our food quickly with a smile and came back to check if everything was OK. When we finished, a sweet woman bussed our table and thanked us for stacking our dishes. Service was amazing and the noodle dishes were inventive and yummy.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I love this place. I try to go once a week always get the penna rosa with Parmesan crusted chicken and feta cheese. The food is soo good. I haven't tried anything I don't like.

Just had dinner at the noodle House in San Ramon. The Indonesian noodle dish was delicious! We met David N, an amazing employee, who makes anyone who walks through the door feel SPECIAL!

Delicious pasta dishes. My only gripe is that I wish they listed the ingredients or contents of each pasta dish as opposed to just a title. Otherwise very tasty food.

Although I really like Noodles & Co. as a brand and I like their menu, this location is the pits. I've been here twice and each time, the staff is either unfriendly or strangely confused about what's going on.

Baltimore Precision Door would like to thank Noodles and Company for a wonderful experience yesterday. We enjoyed every dish and our employees cannot stop raving about it.

Come here frequently for lunch. Ordered the Wisconsion Mac and Cheese and a salad. They forgot to give me my salad before my meal was over. I spoke to the manager about it and I was given a gift card for a free meal. Good customer service.
