Placed an order with 45 minute wait time, came an hour and a half later! Food was cold, and I was told that it was the way I think, as well as I was lying about the food being cold and I couldn't do anything about it because I was already speaking with the owner! I could go on and on about out 10 minutes screaming match, but the moral of the experience was CUSTOMER SERVICE is terrible!

I went on a whim with only two reviews for Michelangelo's but it did not disappoint. I ordered the meat and cheese calzone and decided to grab a table. There is very limited seating (4 tables of two) inside so this is mostly a carry-out place. My calzone came out at the perfect temperature and it was huge. Along with the calzone you get a pasta dipping sauce and garlic butter. The calzone was loaded with cheese and the meat were tiny little homemade meatballs stuffed inside. The calzone and bottled drink was $10; for the size and quality it was definitely worth the money. I overheard the delivery guy saying that he was taking a pizza all of the way to Dundalk...this is a good sign for us city dwellers if they will travel that far. Check it out and give it a chance, they will not disappoint!

This place was a HUGE disappointment. A coworker told us about this big and delicious shrimp salad sandwich for $4.99. When we got the sandwiches they were pitiful. They were small in size. The shrimp were small salad shrimp not the big shrimp typical of a shrimp salad sandwich. It looked like there were 10 little baby shrimp because they gave us so little. I asked for a kaiser roll, they gave me a freaking sesame seed bun. Toasted so it was very hard and crusty. My coworkers and I totally unhappy since we wasted our money on this place. I called and talked to someone there and complained about the bun and small amount of food. They really didn't give a crap. So I told them that I will NEVER order from them again. Period.

I work right down the street from Michaelangelos and have always seen a delivery driver around the area. So, after reading that their pizzas were really good I decided to try them out. I ordered a small pizza and it was only $4.99 plus tax. A very good deal, and the pizza was actually really good. Michaelangelos actually has some very good carry out specials including an 8" sub w/fries and a drink for only $6.99. The second time I went I took advantage of this special as well and got a turkey sub. I was pleased with the sub and the french fries which were really crispy and not the soggy kind in a bag that you usually get at most places.

Pizza is usually good here, I normally go for the special delight. Wide variety of food available. Easy to order via the web.

I seriously hate this place. I've tried to like it at least three times and I'm angry every time. I order a side salad with no red onion... They give me an ass load of lettuce... With oil... I never get the other veggies and this time, I ordered an egg and it was grey. I'm super sad.

Great pizza. Everything else I've tried is mediocre. Salads are especially disappointing. 4 stars for the pizza though.

My boyfriend first tried this place when he broke Passover. He could not stop talking about how good it was. They have gluten free pizza so we each ordered a pie for dinner last week. I added ham, pepperoni, banana peppers and ricotta cheese. He had the Meatlover special. We ordered for pick up and when we got there only had to wait a few minutes. The pizza was delicious. Everything was clearly fresh. It also came with garlic dip, which is nice.

We've only ordered delivery from Michaelangelo's, but we've done so twice and will do so again. The food arrived hot and promptly, and both times the delivery person was polite and pleasant. In fact, during our most recent delivery, the driver forgot our dessert but remembered before leaving our area and came back with it, long before we would have noticed it was missing. It's not always getting things right the first time that counts--it's what you do when things go wrong! Other than that, there isn't much to complain about. My favorite thing we've ordered from Michaelangeo's is their stromboli. You get to say exactly what you want in it--and they have a large variety of toppings--and it's made fresh the way you like it. One stromboli is plenty for two people, too! I look forward to actually going to their restaurant, too, because while I liked their wings (we got the "Atomic Hot"--which is really only medium spicy), they were a little soft after sitting in the foam delivery container that kept them hot. When we order them again (and we will, because they were good), we'll crisp them up in the oven. One negative: Their Caesar salad is hardly a salad. Bland Iceberg lettuce, prepackaged croutons and dressing, and parmesan cheese that was almost tasteless. Their other salads may be good, but don't get this one. But, also, don't pass up Michaelangelo's on that one sour note! Wings, stromboli, and pizza have all been good. I will definitely order from them again.

I used to live near this place and let me tell you , it was a staple of mine for quite a while. Their cheese steak subs are very good. Although the subs were always my favorite the pizza is excellent as well. You can tell that the owner of the place is a nice guy and seems to cares about his customers and his establishment.

I've been a frequent customer over the last year, and have loved their pizzas and usually quick service. Unfortunately tonight's abysmal customer service leads me to leave this review. Two delivery items were screwed up, and the guy on the phone wouldn't refund the food. He did make sure to send his delivery guy back to pick up the food though. Very, very disappointing. Also, a word to vegetarians: avoid the veggie burger.

So my coworker and I decided to give this place a try so we order something basic; wings and fries. We decided to try dessert and I wish I would've stuck with my original idea of getting a pint of ice cream instead. The wings were flavorful but could've been fried a little bit more. The fries were mediocre at best. Now to the dessert. My coworker paid $5 for a piece of cheesecake that was horrible in size (she describes it as paper thin) but was good in taste. I ordered tiramisu and my first fork was ok, but then I realized the damn cake was frozen. I got frustrated and called the restaurant back to let them know that my cake was frozen only for them to tell me that they can't keep tiramisu below 40 degrees so they freeze it. I was told to leave it out for a few mi Utes and it would be fine. Problem is, it was sitting out for over an hour and it was frozen solid! I asked for a refund and got placed on hold three times and spoke to three different people that were "managers" that told me to leave it sitting out. Umm NO, I want a refund because now the cake will be soggy from melting cream and chocolate...so that wouldn't be a good taste at all. Then the male manager told me that he would send the driver but won't give a refund if half was eaten. How could I eat frozen cake and cream? This was the worst experience that I've had with ordering lunch and will take my money else where! I wish I could give them no stars for their lack of customer service. I've never had frozen tiramisu before in my life!!

I had a pizza and a chicken parm. The pizza was thin and tasty. The chicken parm was good as well.

There are a lot of option here to get pizza, it seems to be pizza haunt as they provide with sufficient portion and superior and have come here. Combination was delicious by the experienced cook. Have been satisfied with their service.

We order from here as it's close to our house. We usually order the Italian cheese steak sub minus the marina and an extra cheese medium pizza, which are consistently good. The jalapeño poppers are decent but I'd pass on the dry wings. The white pizza is also good and delivery is fast. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if they had 1/2s.

I like their chicken cheese steak subs however over my past few orders it just wasn't the same as the first time. Today I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and received a cheesesteak instead. All the girl asked was what do you want us to do. Try The Real Thing on York rd instead.

We've only ordered pizza here, but that's because it's been spectacular. Tons of fresh spinach, great crust, handmade when ordered, and they remembered us after the first visit. They include garlic butter, which is delicious for dunking the crust...or adding to mashed potatoes if you have some left over. Yelp certainly came through for us on this one. Love the care they put into everything they make.

I'm from Manhattan and this is excellent pizza for outside of New York City. Use delivery for the order was very pleased.

Delivery- $1.50 charge. This is annoying. Delivery should be free, then you tip. Does the delivery charge go to the driver? It doesn't mention where the fee goes toward on their website. Confusing. Pizza was delivered on time (40 minute wait time) and hot. They delivery in Towson. Pizza- Good. Kind of like a Papa John's or Domino's style. Not the best pizza in the area, but so far the best pizza place that will actually delivery to your house. The regular crust is thin. Glad we didn't go with the thin crust. Price- About standard. Large pizza will run you a little over 10.

Pretty good food. They deliver and have a lot of different options on the menu. College students would love this place. If you are looking for something healthy, it will be hard to find over here. The service is pretty good and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Food is Extremely over priced. I once got hair in my wings and will never go back again. Does have a solid Philly chese steak If you have a strong stomach. Application is very easy to use an delivery usually takes Bout 40 minutes. Do not recommend. Bubbas right down the road is much better.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
