Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We honestly won't go anywhere else for Chinese food! The food is very fresh, the portions are large, and despite what another reviewer said, they do accept credit cards (I know because I never carry cash!). We have traveled in China and China Moon is the only place in the Lutherville area that tastes like the real deal. The woman behind the counter remembers everyone, no matter how long it's been since you've been there! She takes customer service to a whole new level ... many other businesses could learn from her!

We've been getting takeout from here for years now and the food/ portions are still as good as the first day . Best customer service ever...the owner Mae takes time to get to know the customers.

Awesome place! The owner Mae is the best. Really nice and the food is untouchable.

Price shown on the lunch menu is not what you pay. it's $2.05 more. Also the description said it included an eggroll and it came without. Food is ok I just don't like liars and misrepresentation.

Having sampled most of the Chinese fare in the Lutherville area, I can confidently say that China Moon is the best.* Portions are generous, food is properly cooked, and I'm never left wondering whether the chicken in my entree is actually chicken. Sadly, they don't believe in delivery or climate control, so be sure to wear a jacket if you place an order during the winter months. *Joey Chiu's is actually my vote for best chinese food in the area, but can't compete with China Moon on price.

We had food now twice from China Moon. The first experience was not great we gave it a second chance because of the high reviews on YELP. We just had it again today and we will NOT BE BACK! IT DID NOT TASTE FRESH AND it had an unusual taste an odd sweetness to it. We hardly ate any of it and have thrown it away it was that bad. The only reason why I think people like it is because of the large portions.

Great experience great food and some of the best and kindest service I've ever had. I highly suggest it. Great tofu too :)

My dad and I used to visit this place all the time when we were craving Chineese food. The portions are huge and the food was amazing. Plus the woman who works the front always remembered us, no matter hot long it had been since our last visit, and was always super friendly. My only complaints with the place is that they don't accept credit cards and they don't deliver. But it's a small price to pay for amazing food!

I have been going to China Moon for just under 10 years. Best Chinese take out around. Wonderful service, LARGE portions and very reasonable pricing!

Went here based on yelp reviews et all I can say is, Thanks Yelpsters, you took fine care of this hungry girl! Food was tasty, scary-quick, et service was friendlier than I expected. Also true, it's a chilly wait!

How is it I've eaten China Moon's take-out three times, when I live 500 miles away? Pretty simple, actually; after a long day's drive, arriving late, there's not much else available, that's quick, savory, and affordable. My experience with strip mall Chinese take-out places are either mediocre-would not return, or decent-will return when it's appropriate. Make no mistake, China Moon falls into the latter category. Each time, our custom orders were perfectly and accurately prepared, perfect temperature, and tasty. Yeah, good experiences.

Ordered shrimp lo mein for lunch yesterday. Was skeptical of the place it self but the food was good. A little oily! I am giving this place 5 stars because 1. Fast service 2. Good food 3. Great portions Do give this place a try. Won't be disappointed!

Place is small and a little run down but that is how every great Chinese carry out is. The lady who works at the counter is always nice and greats you with a smile. Good is great. I have been searching for decent Chinese food ever since golden key closed in reisterstown. This place meets my expectations and I wish it was closer. Prices are fair to low and if u are on a budget a quart of wonton and a few egg rolls will set u back 7 bucks and you will have some left over for latter.

Was told my order would be ready in 45 minutes. Took and hour and 15 minutes and then they still forgot part of the order. That's pretty unacceptable considering it's just Chinese food. Then, they told me that they don't accept credit cards because of the fees they pay, but then took my card anyway. I was hoping the food would live up to the reviews because I was really hungry from waiting, but I would say it was just average. Definitely nothing that stands out from the other local establishments. The prices are decent, maybe a bit lower than competitors but not significantly. The portions were fairly generous so that is what earns them two stars for this review.

By far the best Chinese food in the area!! The food is always fresh and delicious, and no need to ask for white meat because that's all they use. And definitely order an extra egg roll or two, they are the best I've ever had. Pro tip- order ahead, the food does take a while to be ready, especially at peak business times, but that's the price you pay for quality!
(5)Christine G.
China Moon is great! The people are super friendly and accommodating and the food is really delicious. I also love that they only use white meat chicken I always have to ask wherever I go, but this is their standard. Best chinese food around and it's worth the drive from Towson!

Great value & wonderful egg rolls! Give them plenty of time though. I had to wait very long on more than one occasion even after calling in. Mom & Pop biz & they work hard.

Best Chinese food in the Hunt Valley area hands down. They only use the best fresh vegetables in all their dishes. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed with the food. China Moon is definitely worth the ride to pick up your food!

We were passing through the area and were in the mood for Chinese take-out. Read the reviews so we decided to try it.... No disappointment. Great and fresh flavors. Huge portions. Extremely nice owner. Reasonable prices too.... Only drawback is cash only and parking is limited but we would definitely be back if we lived in the area. Yum!

I heard great things about this place from a co worker yes the food is good I had better and the wait was really long I went on a Friday or Saturday night I waited there so long I ask a couple that was also waiting how long did they wait they called 35 minutes before they came and waited about 15-25 minutes I think there was an issue with there order because the place didn't have what they wanted so I guess it took longer there was also a guy that seemed to be waiting for a while also smh that food is not that good to wait that long they said its because it was on a weekend
