This place used to be great. The food delivered tonight was lukewarm, the subs didn't have 3 of the condiments requested and very little meat--should have just ordered a sub roll. Fries and onion rings were good but just warm. So sorry to see this at Bubba's. Unfortunately we won't be going back.

Decent option if you're in a pinch. The good: Fast service. Large portions. Decent price point. The bad: Taste (chicken was bland & dry).

This is my second visit here and remember it being very good from the first visit. Portion sizes are huge and they take their time to prepare your food, The food is very good tasty and well made. The owners are nice and polite and will chat With you. I don't think you will be disappointed by trying it. I can't wait to go back.

Just had wings from here, the people were nice but those were probably the worst wings I've had and it's pretty hard to screw up wings... I would also raise questions about how safe they were to eat since the tub he mixed the wings looked like it had never been washed and it was crusty. There was barely any sauce on them and I watched the prep, it was just standard hot sauce out of a large jug. I wouldn't eat there again

The cheese steak was huge, but didn't taste right. I think it wa the steak meat used or possibly the cheese being poor quality. I didn't like the french fries either. The 3 stars are for the lamb Gyros. I would go back for them! Bottom line is if I was on the run and was in the mood for a quick Gyro I would stop there. Other than that there are better options locally.

I was having a fat girl day and really wanted a gyro so I decided to try this place out since it had pretty good reviews. It's not somewhere if necessarily sit down to eat at but take out no problem. It wasn't busy actually I might have been the only business so I ordered my food and it was done within ten minutes. The gyro was good didn't realize it came with chips since I ordered fries. The fries I certainly could have passed on but I are them since I brought them. All in all they were fast and the main entree was to my liking.

I got delivery from Bubbas. On the plus side, the delivery service was really quick, it's reasonably priced, and the wraps were pretty tasty. What I wasn't so pleased with was what lacked from the food. In the description, the wraps were supposed to come with lettuce and tomato. In the comment box I added that I wanted red onion too. I received the red onion but it lacked the other ingredients that were promised. We also order the jumbo fries and received regular ones. Overall, I was a little disappointed in the outcome. If ordering delivery, I would make sure to put everything you want in your sandwich/ sub/ or wrap in the comment box. Or maybe get carry out so you can done check your order.

Just got done smashing on a cheesesteak sub...my friends recommended this place to me a few months ago and I've been here at least 5 times in the past month! Don't waste ur time on yelp now go stuff your face with their food

I have ordered from bubba's about 10 times so far and have never had any problems. They have a great deal for subs and the subs are always delicious. Great place and they're open late unlike most places in the area.

So, I decided to be lazy today because I didn't want to drive anywhere or cook. Bubba's is pretty solid delivery food if you want something other than pizza or Chinese. Cheesesteak was actually good, and the fries were fine. It even came with a canned soda; all for $6.99. You really can't beat that! Because delivery is a minimum of $10, I ordered a cheesecake and oatmeal cookie to bump my total up. The oatmeal cookie tasted like a regular packaged cookie. The cheesecake is by no means Cheesecake Factory, but it had a good taste, especially for $3. My food came quickly, and ordering online was easy and convenient. I'm glad I found a new delivery spot.

This place will soon change to the name "Sharm Cafe" after a change in management. I never went here during the old ownership but the current owners are doing a great job. This is a small sub shop, about two tables to sit at. The woman running the counter was nice enough to bring us on food instead of most places that demand you come up to the counter, so that is big points for customer service. They also deliver. The food is really cheap and you will get a lot of food for a little bit of money. An example would be one of their special deals (half sub, fries and can of soda for less than 8 dollars) Now even though it is advertised as only a half it's actually a full sub, It could use a lot more meat, but the bread is the best ive tasted for a small time sub shop. The bread is baked right there! The fries were super crispy, I was shocked because sub shop fries are wilted and tasteless anywhere else. The onion rings had great breading too, although a bit expensive at 5 bucks an order. You will get more value from the fries, the serving size is a small mountain at around 2 bucks or so. All around great value, great taste, a solid place to eat at with less than 10 bucks in your pocket and in need of a full belly. Forget burger king or McDonalds, come here instead!

Towsons's #1 Hidden Gem. I've lived in the area for two years and just recently stumbled upon it. Front sign is old and poorly lit. Owned and operated by a nice elderly couple, Bubba's has top notch fries, subs, and sandwiches including the best Reuben of my life. highly recommend. You can expect a 5-10 minute wait but its worth it! Delivers too.

Bubba's Breakaway (soon to be Sharm Cafe) offers the standard sub and sandwich offerings, fajitas, quesadillas plus salads and soups. I tried the gyro wrap and a tossed salad. The portions were large and could be shared with someone. The lamb gyro was tender with a nice layer of tzaziki, onions (very mild) cucumbers and tomatoes. It was really tasty and the vegetables were fresh. The tossed salad had onions, green peppers, tomatoes and croutons on a mound of iceberg lettuce. It's just hard to get excited about a salad but this was fresh. The woman who took my order had mentioned that they also offer kebabs, felafel and other Mediterranean dishes. If you call later in the afternoon or evening, you can get the daily specials consisting of Egyptian lasagna, lentils and rice and more that are not on the menu. I will venture back to try the homemade specialties. If you choose to dine in, there are only 4 booths and it does look worn out/run down. If you can look past that you will get tasty food, large portions and a great price.

First of all, Yelpers of the greater Baltimore area, why have you not reviewed Bubba's Breakaway yet? For shame! Second of all, let me be clear, I'm not exactly sure what a Breakaway is. It could be the big sandwiches they serve. There are some strange names for big sandwiches eaten on long rolls, submarine, hero, hoagie, grinder... breakaway could fit right in there. But there's also the possibility that "breakaway" refers to the action of breaking away from the pack to get one of these delicious sandwiches. They make their own bread, the hot subs are to die for, and it's pretty cheap. What else could you want?

Horrible service, rude owner. Screwed up my order, argued, took over an hour to replace it. Then argued more, hung up on me twice, refused to refund my money. Will NEVER order from there again.

Bubba's joined Foodler, which I often use to order delivery, so I gave them a shot. Their sub sandwich options make you choose hot or cold preparation. I chose hot and they thought I ordered "hot peppers" as a topping even though I didn't. They misread my order, blamed it on me, and took over 1 hour to bring a replacement. In the mean time, when I called, I was yelled at and hung up on twice deliberately. They refuse to give me my money back. Then after the replacement came, the delivery man never asked for the wrong food back, but Bubba's called me threatening to call 911 if I don't give the food back and hung up again. The delivery man was nice, but the owner or whoever he is is unbelievably rude and, evidently, crazy.

The best Cheese Steak you can get delivered in Towson. I think the Real Thing is a tiny bit better, but they don't deliver and I am lazy. Also, they have extremely crispy french fries, and they stay crispy even when delivered (I think they are battered). I have never actually been there though, just delivery.

I'm seeing Adam's review below, and it worked...I am ashamed to have waited so long to review Bubba's! Especially so since I've been eating their delicious greasiness since 1994. For shame, indeed. To this day, when college friends who have moved away from the area come back for a visit, their first request for food is Bubba's. A lot of it is nostalgia, yes...many of us still have our yellow Bubba's can openers still dangling from our keychains. When I think back to college and the late nights putting the student newspaper to bed, I have Bubba's to thank for getting us through many an issue without killing each other. The most important foods: - Cheeseburger sub with lettuce and red hots - "Hot munchers" (kind of like tater tots with a dab of jalapeno cheese in the center) - Perfectly wilted, peppered fries. - The ridiculously big pickles To this day, Bubba's is a special treat in my house.

Good neighborhood sub shop. Subs, portions and food quality are top notch.
