I've come here for years, but I am reviewing this location AFTER their recent renovations. To kick things off, Bob Evans is a similar alternative to Denny's, offering all day breakfast menus and value offerings. The renovation did a nice job of addressing this locations greatest need: room for waiting. On a typical Sunday morning this place is CRANKING. The new waiting area has plenty of padded seating for ladies and children, as well as generous standing room for coming and going traffic flows. The menu is great. There are the staples (burgers and fries, pancakes and eggs) and seasonal items (turkey dinner in November). Recently they've run a special three course meal for $13.99. You can't beat it. The food is always fresh and tasty. Never bland. The service is where the hiccups occur. It doesn't take much for the wheels to fall off. During peak hours when customers are waiting, service is stretched while fully staffed. It's actually not that bad. During slower intervals, if the place is at 50% capacity, you'll be waiting. Overall, it's a great value delivered by less experienced servers, or more casual servers. If they cranked up their commitment to speed and accuracy I could bump this location to a 4-Star rating, but until then the 3-Star rating is fair. Give it a whack. Let me know if the service was better for you.

I ate here on Sunday in the early afternoon. It was packed and my first time visiting in almost six years. The after-church crowd is expected at that time of day. The inside of the restaurant is very basic. Our waitress was nice. She told us that she was going to be rude, but she was trying to be sarcastic. At the time when she brought our food, we still didn't have silverware. We had to wait for her to get some. Even though it was crowded, the food was ready relatively quickly. I ordered three buttermilk pancakes with a side of two sausage patties. The patties were a little small, but I enjoyed them. The pancakes were large and very filling! They're better than fake-tasting pancakes I've had at other places. They also serve a mini pitcher of maple syrup and three small containers of butter. The prices are definitely reasonable. My meal cost $5.49, and it was adequate. I appreciated the silverware and table not being sticky. An extra point for that! Surprisingly, I enjoyed Bob Evans and would recommend it.

The Holiday dinner for four was only $19.99!! I chose turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, rolls, and I added an apple pie. The order taken over the phone was a bit confusing as the rep did not know the prices and had to keep asking someone. However she was nice and someone else helped me over the phone which was nice. Once I arrived the food was ready. The staff was friendly. I added an apple pie. My family all loved the food. It made up for me not having the time to cook because I took a holiday vacation thanks Bob Evans and your staff!!!

Literally I'm only giving this two stars because the food was good. I don't remember our waitress's name, but she was terrible. She came to our table a total of 4 times while we were there, including when she brought our food. When she brought my side over, I said thank you as she kind of just slammed it down and walked off. Our glasses were empty for almost the entire hour that we were stuck here. Based off of this experience, I won't be returning.

Boy oh boy where do I start. Seated quickly. Waiter served us quickly. They have appetizer, entree and dessert for 9.99. I don't know why I started with a banana smoothie when I knew that I had all that coming. I just couldn't resist I started with the delicious chilli that came with two, fresh, hot and soft dinner rolls. I could have sat there and just ate chilli and dinner rolls. Next up was fried shrimp and fries. The shrimp were delicious. I could not eat the fries if I wanted to. They were good but, I couldn't handle anymore starch. Last but not least the caramel sundae was to die for and was just enough with the whip cream on top. I also had a glass of water. Let's just say that I had all of this around 1pm. I was not hungry until after 9pm. Good cheap meal on deck. No complaints

I'm giving a very generous 3 stars. Mainly because the food was very good. The service was as slow as slow gets. I'm about ready to walk out without paying just to get their attention. If you have 4 hours to kill with no where to go this is a great place. If you are in a hurry then starve.

You can order your breakfast/brunch online! Wish they delivered too!! Solid breakfast here, but their biscuits are way too salty and for that I give them 3 stars. I know good biscuits are hard to make, but if your specialty is in breakfast/brunch food, then you should be able to make at least decent biscuits, right?! haha! Overall, a good spot to eat breakfast/brunch, and friendly service. I got their Belgian waffles, side of Bacon and Sausage gravy, and they were all very good! Nothing too special about this place, but its an above average spot, so go here unless you find a place that makes better biscuits! haha!

Update to my prior review. I went back for the first time in a year and there have been some major improvements in the staff and the set up. The place seems to run much more efficiently now from my last visit and the menu has had a few updates. I'll add them back to my "weekend breakfast rotation".

Sub par service period. No one asked me my name or if I was ready to sit for 15 minutes. A server picked up my table in passing....asking if we have been helped yet. Then, I received my drink order with no straw and we got it ourselves. I literally sat my ENTIRE TIME THERE forced to look at disgusting tables that were not cleaned. I counted about 3-4 different complaints from surrounding tables during my visit. Honestly, I only came here because I had a coupon. I will NEVER come back again.

I used to love coming to Bob Evans for breakfast but lately it hasn't been doing it for me. Like IHOP we might have to break up.... Sorry but your omelets, cold (come on just microwave them so they taste "fresh outta the oven") banana nut bread and not-to-die for Belgium Waffles are disappointing and just not doing it for me anymore. It is like a bad relationship.... I keep thinking it'll get better and pictures always look better than the actual dish. So, goodbye Bob Evans, I'll be seeing you around but just not as my breakfast joint. Helllloooo...Cracker Barrel!! (And to our server, don't ask me what I want before I've barely sat down and don't give me my check before I finished eating.)

Sad to give this place such a poor review, considering it's been a budget friendly standby for my family. However, last time I went there was a dead fly in my salad...enough said.

Grand Opening??? I guess that = Americana out - bland in. I've enjoyed freshly made burgers here in the past, tho the waitress got our orders wrong the last time. Last evening the burger was dry with two threads of limp onion, bacon beyond dry, I could actually snap it apart. This was sooo far below the decent homestyle burger I've enjoyed here in the past. So sad to see a reasonably priced eatery go so far down hill, at least in the burger dept. I may stop back for breakfast food one day - may being the operative word.

All day breakfast could the best thing ever ..was my usual thoughts since I am a big fan of BR. but this place...nothing new, or better, or any particular charactersitc of its own distinguish from other restaurants. with mediocre coffee...which completes real good breakfast. everything taste like TV dinnerish / microwave foods. no matter the type of cooking for each menu.. either grilled, steamed, fried, broiled. has big space like Mcdonalds' so, guess good for groups, but nothing for formal or fancy meeting I would recommend. don't ever wanna go again, I know it is hard to find local gem, so we ended up eating here, but hey, with this fancy Mcdonald's level foods, this is not even cheap.

Bob Evans--- it's GREAT for breakfast. Never tried them for other meals-- they are a simple American-food chain with a kinda-corny country-store type theme, not usually what I pick for dinner, and I rarely have time for a sit-down lunch. That said-- when I ran a field unit I used to take my folks here for a breakfast meeting every quarter. For 6 people it came out to under 60 bucks each time. How can you beat that?? And service was always prompt, friendly, and accurate. Coffee is GOOD. Surprisingly so. And they give you real half and half-- I hate fake Coffee-mate style creamer. Biscuits are buttery and fluffy; pancakes, omelets are HUGE and well made; my favorite is the pot roast hash-- lots of yummy, tender beef, over nicely seasoned and crispy potatoes, topped with a couple fried eggs...mmmm. not good for the arteries, but darn tasty on the stomach!! Bob Evans breakfast will leave you rolling out the door and keep you stuffed enough you'll skip lunch and eat a salad for dinner!!

Ok, for a chain restaurant the breakfast is off the rocker! I love love love the pancakes, I love the blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries. Oh and the cinnamon ones. Yum. The bacon is good. Free refill on hot chocolate!! What's not to love about that? Busy times are right after church. And if waffles are your thing, they don't serve tem after 2 pm. So get there early! Maybe one day I will order off the dinner menu until then, I'm munching on pancakes!
