My boyfriend lives in Towson and whenever we decide to go to Panera we have two options, the Panera off Putty Hill and this one. We choose to come to this Panera solely based on one employee's awesome attitude and work ethic, Bennett. Every time we come to Panera Bennett is working. We have seen him cleaning tables and windows, taking orders at the register, and actually preparing the food. He always seems to be going above and beyond regardless of what he is doing and is always extremely polite. Bennett is an awesome employee and should be recognized and appreciated for the great job he does.

This weekend took me back to nostalgic memories of holidays at chez Dragon Blanc. Church and breakfast were two major cornerstones of being their houseguest. I would always deplete the Asiago cheese bagels first, but I was also open to splitting a cinnamon raisin or sesame. Hazelnut spread was milder than the sweet honey walnut and raspberry ones, but still more palatable than the sun-dried tomato. These reduced fat shmears were whipped into an unusual frothiness that made it easy to distribute evenly, but the bagels went just as well with regular cream cheese.

If you want good, basic soup and sandwiches, tasty breads and bakery desserts, high-end (for Non-New York) bagels, decent coffee, this is your place!! Ingredients are high quality and fresh; bread is always fresh, crusty, a bit yeasty-- very tasty! If you're worried about your health, you get what you order- if you order a grilled panini filled with meats and cheeses, you're going to get a thousand calories; if you get their turkey on whole wheat, you get something healthier! Order the apple instead of the chips, too. But the chips are GOOD- and not as bad as others, if the label is correct on the little bag. Ambience is fine- a step or two above fast food, but clearly meant for you to get in, eat a meal, and get out. Not a lingering type place at all. Love their baked goods, too-- danishes, cinnamon rolls--- very, very yummy!! This is my local branch; I've visited other spots in Towson, Parkville, Golden Ring- all good, all pretty much the same.

Ordered the breakfast power sandwich, for the low calories. I always get this in my NJ Panera, and it is great! Here, not so much. One slice of ham, folded on toasted wheat. Bread was very oily. Egg had been made in a ring mold and looked like a Dunkin Donuts sandwich (worst breakfasts, ever). I was disappointed. Coffee was good and strong.

This place is always crowded -- especially at lunch and on weekends. Advice? One person needs to keep and eye on and grab a table while the other orders the food and waits for it. :)

Why does every Baltimorean love Panera? It's a chain for goodness sake! This Timonium location is fine, but it's sort of v-shaped inside so everyone funnels toward the back to get their food and then has to slither through the place with a tray to get a seat. I just don't love the food compared to the hype it gets. If I want to add an extra 1,000 calories to my daily intake, I'd rather do it elsewhere. Soups are ok - a couple are vegetarian.

I go to this Panera most work mornings for something quick. Staff are friendly and know me by name. Managers know me by name and always greet me, even though they may be doing something else. I like Panera's food. For being as quick as it is, it is pretty fresh. Cost more than a fast food joint, but with what we are finding out they put in their food, I'm willing to pay a few bucks more for a breakfast sandwich I can watch being made at Panera. Coffee and espresso drinks here are good. I can't ding them for presentation. This is still food that is made very quickly and as long as my sandwich is all together, I'm fine with it. My only real complaint is that the ice tea could generally be stronger for my tastes, and on occasion, the filter gets folded over over the tea and you end up with something slightly darker than water. You'd think that could be solved by just having the kid check it after he makes it. This location is a zoo between about 11:30 and 1:30, especially on the weekends. I often can't even find a seat and the line is to the door. Kids are running around everywhere. So if you are looking for a quiet place to study, read, or surf the web, you are better off going to the library.

Perfect setup for Baltimore County preppies--it's the neighborhood hangout for soccer moms and private-school kids for the 21st century. Which is totally cool, because that's Baltimore County culture. Wouldn't want the area to pretend it's something it's not. Good Wifi. Food is tasty but goodness, you'll eat much healthier at Taco Bell. I'm not kidding. Look it up--on kcals alone, TB has Panera whipped. Of course if you go with the salads at Panera (esp. ones without tons of meat and cheese) you may be OK. But stay away from those signature sandwiches. It's like eating a tub of Crisco.

The coffee is as good or better than Pete's, Zeke's or Seattle's best.....always. Staff is cordial and efficient, the bread and pastry are varied and very good. It's always bustling even from 2:00 to 5;00 PM traditional dead hours for a restaurant but you can always get a seat. But the one aspect of Panera that elevates it above all other chains and places it squarely in the pantheon is the lightning speed with which your food comes up. Nobody does it quicker and the food is uniformly good. How do they do that?

As far as Panera goes, this location is pretty underwhelming and can get quite crowded. The food quality is adequate at best, but I will say that the staff is at least friendly. There are other quick service options in the immediate area...that is, this shopping center, that I find better.

About $18 for 1/2 an Asiago steak sandwich and a kids mac n cheese, fruitcup, and apple juice box. Kids "meal" apparently doesn't include fruit and drink, so was charged extra. And, the lettuce on the sandwich was stale. Rip-off. Avoid it.

I usually go here for bagels only when friends want to meet. I'm not a fan of their coffee since it tastes burned/too strong for me. So I really mean bagels only. But yesterday friends wanted to meet for lunch so we ended up here. First off, the menu is incredibly confusing. Most people order a "pick 2" but it is impossible to figure out the cost ahead of time given that each combination results in a different price. Plus, even at 1 pm for lunch I had 10 people behind me waiting to order. So the initial experience is stressful. It took a while for the order to be ready (surely due only to how busy it was) and it is chaotic in the area where you wait. However, I must say that the people making the orders seemed efficient and I witnessed a very friendly interaction between the sandwich makers and an unpleasant guest. Really, the employees couldn't have been nicer. Ultimately I am giving 1 star because the food made me sick. I had half a turkey sandwich and half a salad. I drank water. I can only imagine that the lettuce was not washed properly or there was some cross contamination that occurred during preparation. I was very ill after eating here and i just wont go back.

Chicks dig this place. Is it because they have soup and salads? Dunno. I hate this place--every friggin time my girlfriend drags me there I'm always underwhelmed by my food choice--from the soups, to the pastas, to the sandwiches. The presentation often sucks--When they get busy you can expect your plate to be tossed on the counter with ham on one side of the plate and the bread and soup on the other--fucking terrible! The manager often looks harried and out of the loop. I tried something simple the last time we were there--the mushroom soup--not bad and it gets 2 stars. I'll give their cheese bread and bear claws a 4 star--but for carry out only. A step up is Jason's Deli across the sea of parking lot and SUVs...a decent deli that takes your number and serves you with a neatly stacked sandwich...it's great because you don't have to stand around bumping into WASP types gazing into their phones and generally getting all grabby grabby with the condiments. These lost suburbanites like to hang out there with their WIFI gadgets all day and clog up the dining area--meh, give me a break! Christ, I just reviewed Panera. Should I just hand up my review cape now?

French toast bagel plain reduced fat cream cheese 1/2 dark roast, 1./2 hazenut coffee toast, apple cream cheese, add sugar and cream = the only reason I adore Panera. I heart the french toast bagel.

In the absence of a real bagel shop in the area Panera Bread is a pricey alternative. Sammies are okay, nothing really stands out. Breads and bagels are decent but like I said they are pricey. I prefer local bakeries but we do not have many in the area. Overall there is nothing special here worth jumping up and down about. I do like the cinnamon crunch bagel. Cakes are good but I just have a problem with chains in general. In the end, it just a bread joint, an expensive one. One thing, can they do something about the flies buzzing around the food prep area? I know it is hard to control but it is unsanitary looking at best.

Used to be my go to place especially for studying..facilities are adequately clean and comfortable. Now, they changed the pricing scheme and now pick 2 options are much more expensive. In fact all items are more expensive, which may be good for panera in short run but people will direct themselves to cheaper alternatives in the long run..
