Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This place used to be mediocre at best and the strong smell of cooking oil kept me away. Apparently they have new owners, management, chef or something because the last two meals from there were 5 plus.

Not impressed at all. We ordered orange chicken but received orange beef instead. Tasted and looked like pork. General tsos chicken and vegetable lo mein were OK. Wonton soup seemed old, like it had been reheated several times, and the egg noodles were stale. We will never go there again.

Yelp, fix the phone number. Its 301-271-3688. I also got the same order of cashew chicken as the previous reviewer, except for dinner. It was NOT a massive amount of food, a tiny amount of rice and barely adequate amount of chicken. I have uploaded the picture of the order.. Taste wise the cashew chicken was a bit bland, but they didn't skimp on the amount of chicken compared to vegetables. It wasn't bad, but it sure could use a few more spices. I also got a order of hot & sour soup. It was terrible. It must have been from the bottom of the soup pot. It was a sludge. A sip or two of it and I couldn't stomach any more. The previous reviewer was correct. The fortune cookies are kind of stale. A fixture of many store front Chinese restaurants.

It's hard to try a new Chinese carry-out joint. Thurnont has three when you count Simply Asia. And my recent visits I most carry-outs have not been so hot since the trans-fats and MSG bans went in to effect. So on a whim I decided on New Win Hing for today. I'm being cheap so I went with a simple lunch special. Sadly the place was dead. I hate to see a place looking like this around noon on a week day. Decor is typical carry-out with only a few booth seats. The booth seats they do have are modern and comfortable. A couple tables with chair are also present. Good amount of floor space is present giving a nice airy feeling during the wait. I tried the chicken cashew lunch special. I hate celery so I had them swap out celery for water chestnut. Still carrots which I hate but not as much as I hate celery. It was nice that thy would substitute like they did. Arriving home 15 minuets later, I found my food still hot. Upon inspection, I came to realize that there was a hell of a of of food in there. The amount of food was enormous. It was certainly worthy of being a lunch special and then some, and was barely able to eat the entire meal. On the right side of the Styrofoam container was a massive amount of chicken, and cashews. Underneath is the water chestnuts I specified and a decent serving of carrots. On the left was a decent serving of pork fried rice. Flavor overall was middle of the road, but was more than a fair trade-off, considering the sheer amount of food included and the fact that they did not skimp out on either chicken or cashews as many other places do these days. My only complaint was the stale fortune cookie, but since this is the third one from three different Chinese restaurants this month, I suspect all fortune cookies are stale in the fall months. Overall, for $5.15, which included a can of Mountain Dew Rollback, New Win Hing is clearly the best valued carry-out lunch special in Thurmont, and by far a better value than what is offered at the neighboring fast food joints.

I like this place. I think the food is fantastic and theybare not opposed to preparing things that are not on the menu. the vast majority of their business is carry-out but their food is great.I know I'll keep coming back.
