Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I gave three stars because of good ingredients and unique combinations. Tonight they made several mistakes in my order. I called and they sent another pizza, only to send the same wrong order twice! Need more attention to detail and better management.

Place is incompetent. Multiple terrible experiences with delivery. Most recently where the delivery guy was lost in transit and the restaurant could not locate him. Fpr over an hour. We live less than two miles for the restaurant.

Staff are great - Vern, Yoseph, and Raina - are all super friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, with good variety and quality, and the prices are good - try the 2Zs deal! They've also upped their game in regards to the music, I no longer eat with earbuds in! Overall, a great experience.

The pizza was pretty good. Being that I have celiacs I tried their gluten free crust with the Tuscan mushroom. The menu said it was to come with caramelized onions but when I was given the pizza it had just regular semi cooked onions. I asked the waitress if I could get the caramelized onions and she said that's what is already on it. To me they are suppose to be brown and sweet not white and crunchy. Other than that the crust was very good.

How long does is take to make 2 large pizzas? Apparently at this location it takes 30 minutes for one pizza and when they decide to make your second pizza its whenever they feel like it..idiots working today at 6pm 7-16-14...Terrible service..and its not even busy here!!!.zpizzas are NOT cheap... more like $50-$90 worth of pizza every time we order from here..this location sucks...will never come here again.

This place use to be my favorite pizza place but after tonight's experience they get a thumbs down. After coming in to place my carry out order for a large pizza I am waiting for 45 minutes before the cook realizes I've been there too along. This is after several people are served that came in after me. He goes around to the oven pulls out a pizza and says sorry. My daughters pizza box had someone else's name on it but after the cook opens the box, he realizes it's our pizza. While walking back to my car the cook chased me down the street about giving us the wrong pizza. We do a quick swap and we're on our way. The pizza is cold. Not hot, not warm, but cold. Our pizza was sitting there "chillin" while no one told us it ready. By the way, it would have been nice to sit and eat our meal there but, the heat wasn't working. :( The manager James Barley should have been there to see his award winning team.

If I could give them zero stars I would. One star is more than they deserve. I've ordered deliver from this restaurant twice through GrubHub. Both times the food arrived late and at least part of the order was wrong. When I called to complain, I had to speak to multiple people and be put on hold repeatedly. They did not offer to fix or replace the wrong items either time. They wanted me to accept a partial coupon toward a future order - didn't even offer to refund the incorrect items. Finally got them to agree to refund after ten minutes on phone, though frankly given their incompetence, I won't believe it was correctly refunded until I see it. Ridiculous and unacceptable.

The GF pepperoni pizza has gotten better and they deliver. I'm a fan.
(4)Lainey G.
Check out this pizza shop!!! They have everything from pizzas to salads to wings and the best part is there's options for gluten free and vegan!! Staff is great and always willing to provide the upmost customer service and even better they have board games too!

This was my first experience with this franchise and man, what I have been missing... Fresh-made dough becomes a crust you actually enjoy. Fresh cut veggies and other toppings covered in cheese and fire-baked to crispy, toasty and savory perfection. Surpassed my expectations. Vern, the manager, is a 15-year vet of the pizza industry and understands what sets a pizza apart from the rest. He takes pride in his shop and his team and I can't wait to return and enjoy the hospitality again.
(5)Eman M.
Had a bad experience but the manager contacted me and offered a free meal. He improved on the fact that I was completely ignored by the lady that works there, when I showed up for the first time. Pizza is okay, not OMG though.
(4)Mister L.
This store is awesome! The pizza always tastes so fresh and the team making it is super friendly. The prices are great, too. If you put a slice on top of your head your tongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it! :-P

Had a buy one get one free coupon. With the coupon, it's four stars. Otherwise, it's overpriced. Having said that, we got the Thai chicken and a cheese w/sausage take-n-bake. The concept of getting a pizza delivered that you have to bake yourself sounds silly but once we ate the entire Thai chicken in ten minutes, we realized why they're trying to market this concept. After heating the pie up, it tasted phenomenally fresh. 2 large gourmet-style, for pizzas for $15? I'll take it. Another sleeper-component of the pizza is the dough. I'm not a fan of thin-crust but the dough is so "doughy" it makes up for it. Essentially picture a California Pizza Kitchen that delivers.
(4)Pam S.
I love Z Pizza. Period. Best deal - the lunch deal is 2 small pizzas (or calzone, salad, w/e) for $15 ... with a drink ... period. So, the trick is to load up your pizza with all those amazing toppings you love without injuring your wallet. The pizza is great here, wonderful crust, multiple sauces to choose from, tons of veggie toppings ... There's a location (supposedly) opening in Chinatown, at which point I assume Z Pizza will then be the best vegan/vegetarian pizza in the district. Delicious.
(5)Autumn Q.
My entire family loves the pizza here! We frequent Z Pizza often. It is especially great fresh in the store. Great flavor, and the crust is not greasy. The sandwiches are also very tasty. I also love coming here because the staff is extremely friendly which is unusual for this area. This is definitely my favorite pizza place in the downtown Silver Spring area.

The good: The pizza. As a native New Yorker who has traveled quite a bit, I'm always on the lookout for really good pizza and this provided a pleasant surprise. Less pleasant however is the service, especially anything involving delivery orders. With three small kids at home, that's virtually the only way we get their pizza. With the exception of probably the first time we got a delivery it's been a succession of problems. Our order is pretty simple (their Napoli with pepperoni added) and yet they've gotten either the order wrong or screwed up on the delivery over and over. On one occasion after they showed up with a couple of pepperoni pies and we complained to the manager they comped them but that was they extent of any vestige of customer service. Other times they delivered something other than our order (no basil on the Napoli, which is the whole point of that pie) and when we called to ask about it the response was "oh yeah, we ran out of basil," no apology, no courtesy call beforehand. Tonight after having ordered a couple of hours ahead of time with a 5:15 delivery time they called at the delivery time to say "it just went into the oven..." When we complained they gave us a 15 to 25 minute delivery window and the pies arrived in 10 mins - we live close by but that's ridiculous, someone's not playing it straight. Lateness and mistakes are forgivable, not giving a damn and playing fast and loose with the truth aren't. Maybe we'll try them again if we hear there's been a change in management...
(2)Libby F.
I thought Z Pizza was going to be like every other nondescript pizza chain, but I was very impressed when I tried a slice of their Napoli pizza at a Crystal City wine festival. It was really good! Today I ordered a Tuscan pizza. It had a garlicky sauce, caramelized onions, mozzarella and feta and three kinds of mushrooms. I loved it! It was a bit salty (from the Feta) and a bit sweet (from the onions). My pizza was perfectly cooked - no burnt crust. Yes, $10.50 is high for a small (6 pc) pizza, but this ain't no Domino's. I treated my friend using a $10.00 restaurant.com certificate so two pizzas and a soda was only $12.00. My friend gave two thumbs up to his veggie California pizza. It was piled with tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and black olives. Everything was fresh and organic (according to their signs). I was very sated after four slices so I had two slices to take home for later. I'll be back now that I know I can get delicious, fresh, organic pizza in my hood. Not exactly low fast food prices, but high quality pizza.
(4)Clinton W.
I chose this place because of the gluten free choices and even bought the $40 voucher for $20 but when I ordered today they said they had no gluten-free choices today, only "tomorrow." If it's on the menu it should be available every day unless indicated otherwise.
(1)Angela S.
I've been here a couple of times now and feel confident of my rating. I've ordered a few different items: salad, pizza, sandwich. All were good. No complaints, no disappointments. I see other reviews complained about the prices but they were the same as other Montgomery County establishments...not sure where these people are finding their bargain meals. My sandwich was $5.95, a good size, and filling. And good tasting. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area, but its not a destination in itself. Order at the counter, they bring the food to you after you sit down.
(4)Tim H.
In my opinion, zpizza gets a bit of a bum rap. Their approach is good--thin, crispy crust and thoughtful toppings--but I think they suffer from very strong competition as well as brow-furrowing prices. Clearly, Flippin' Pizza and zpizza are close substitutes. zpizza isn't and doesn't claim to be NY-style, but is similar enough that they have to really figure out what their competitive advantage is. I personally use zpizza for occasions when I want a) more combinations and b) smaller unit sizes than Flippin' offers. For example, I really like zpizza's Moroccan pizza, enough to justify a bit higher price. I also think the crust is better at zpizza, as it's a little crunchier. I haven't had many of the bad experiences described by other reviewers. The trick, though, is that the prices are pretty darn high. They claim to use more 'natural' and 'healthy' ingredients, but that's hard to verify and harder still to price out. They also don't deliver late, which basically rules them out on a lot of occasions. In the end, I think zpizza has a place in the rotation, but every single time it feels hard to justify.
(4)Ryan M.
It's not great, it's not bad. It's Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz Pizza. First of all, I'm so tired of people complaining about "soggy" pizza. That's pizza. It's melted cheese. It's not supposed to be hard. If you like pizza that's stiff when you pick it up, then eat Ellios or Pizza Hut (not hating on the Hut...). That rant out of the way, I think Z Pizza is pretty solid. I have no problem at all with the texture or whatever. My issue is with the tasteless crust. It's just kind of carboardey. Big props however for the toppings. Plentiful and fresh. They really lathered on the sausage and mushrooms. There's all kinds of interesting combinations for those looking to mix it up too. The pizzas are a little expensive ($20 for an extra large). The service is very good. I called in an order and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Compare that to my beloved Pizza Hut (about an hour and a half) and it's an easy decision.
(3)Cici H.
Gluten Free review: I had the California pizza with gluten free pizza crust. It was not good at all. The pizza was not hot and the crust was soggy. I will not eat here again. Oh, I must mention I spent $15 bucks on this pizza. What a waste!
(1)Rachel D.
Don't know why there's such a low rating; I love Zpizza! Honestly my favorite pizza place. The thin crust and option for wheat/gluten free crust is awesome. The pizza is always fresh. A must try: the Mediterranean plate!
(5)Khepra A.
I bring my children here after there weekly gymnastics class and I usually call ahead of time so that the pizzas are ready. Upon arrival you could see that they were busy, so busy that the pizzas I ordered for my children were left in the back of the oven, BURNT. So as they scrambled to make more when then were done, they were on the house, which was the appropriate thing to do. As a long time raw foodist, if my kids are going to eat pizza it should be organic and gluten free, which Zpizza offers, plus the customer service move was worthy of 5 star rating.
(5)Johnny F.
Dissatisfied. Bland. Tasteless. Soggy. The American pizza is bland and tasteless, despite copious amounts of alpo-like sausage. The wings are a soggy mess. I could have cooked crispier wings in my microwave. Do everyone a favor and please take them off your menu. Also, the blue cheese dressing is watered down and gross. For half the price I could have had a much better pizza night with Dominos. Your customers must have no taste buds.
(1)Jessica H.
I like the pizza here because they have a whole wheat crust. However, they are EXPENSIVE, but I don't mind paying for quality ingredients. I always order extra sauce because they don't put enough, but it is worth it. I have not tried any of the house pizza's as I am boring and only enjoy pepperoni and mushroom. I suggest take-out, the restaurant is not really a place to sit as it gets wicked hot with the ovens and such. Hell, take the pizza outside, and people watch. The location is great.
(4)David C.
We tried this place because it was close to the movie theater & we wanted pizza. We also like to try something new every once and a while. It was dead empty when we entered (on a Saturday afternoon), but they were definitely doing a brisk delivery business. Then we stepped up to the counter... and the guy who took our order was new. It showed. I worked in a pizza place once, so I understood, but my wife and I giggled about it a little to each other after the order was in... and... the manager apparently overheard us and gave us a free pizza in addition to the one we bought! THAT is AMAZING customer service! Period. We didn't even complain about anything, and here this guy gives us a pizza. AMAZING. The one we ordered was good too- we lived in NYC for awhile, and though it isn't the best pie we've ever had, it was still pretty good. Really though, we were impressed by the service. We'll definitely be back again! We couldn't even eat the second pie, so we dropped it off at the shelter a few blocks away. Thanks guys!
(5)Tom T.
The pizza is "healthy" with good-for-you ingredients -but- you sacrifice a lot of flavor. The crust is healthy but cardboard. It is also expensive for the quality you get. I would pass on this place in Silver Spring.
(1)Ian Y.
It's pizza with more offerings than the Domino's down the street (including organic ingredients), but incomparable to sit-down places like Matchbox Pizza in DC. I got a Restaurant.com deal that fortunately compensated me for the $22+ full pizza that I shared with a friend, but I probably pay about the same (okay, maybe just a little less) for more unique piazzas at Matchbox. Not bad -- quite tasty actually -- but nothing rave-worthy.
(3)Stephanie S.
I called to check on my order after 1 1/2 hours of wait time and was told that 1:30 to 1:45 was the norm. Their website said delivery times take 30-45m. After 2 hours of waiting for my delivery order, I cancelled the order but had to hold for 10 minutes to speak with a representative. My kid is in tears, hasn't had dinner and it's far past bedtime... very disappointing.
(1)Caroline L.
The food isn't bad. The fact that it's organic and that you can get a wheat crust (without it tasting like cardboard) is a huge plus. Yes, it is very overpriced. I'm not talking about just the pizza but for the salad. A California salad contains no meat but lettuce, olives, avocado slices (which aren't very generous btw), onions, cucumbers (3 thin slices), and tomatoes (2-3 thin slices) for a large. It was $8-9. Crazy. The chicken pesto pasta was extremely bland. I shook in some red pepper flakes which helped. The Sante Fe pizza was pretty good. I asked for marinara sauce on the side to help add in some zing. I didn't know you could request it in the pizza (thanks Yelpers for the tip!). The workers here are all teens who are fun but extremely loud. They were goofing around so much, we would literally jump when they would shout randomly at each other. It wasn't a negative atmosphere but perhaps too playful. I understand you should enjoy your job but not to the point where the customers start looking back at you to see what the ruckus is all about. It's not the most expensive thing but I couldn't help but think that if I had gone to Pizza Hut, I could've brought back a whole pizza for the same price. But hey, anything organic these days costs an arm and a leg!
(3)Andrea N.
I love zpizza, it's such a great chain restaurant. Every location I've ever been to has had excellent food and service. Just ordered from the silver spring one and I have absolutely no complaint. Food was delivered quickly and was delicious. Definitely would recommend it to anyone wanting pizza that's a bit healthier and more upscale than your regular pizza chain.
(5)Deadline S.
Contacted the corporate office they offered some coupons for my trouble, and the local GM called me and said they were going to correct the situation and they had newer management. i'll try them again in a year or so. - Interesting that Yelp's filter has filtered out my review and several others.
(1)Jessica C.
I am going to keep this review short and sweet. THERE WAS A ROACH ON OUR TABLE! Do I have to delve into anything else? No one know where the roach came from. It was huge. The fact that a brazen roach feels it has lay of the land over your pizza joint tells me, something ain't right. ROACH!!!!!! Given, my sandwich was very good, however I am almost sure the Roach came out of the other half of my sandwich. Very Problem Child 2. Never EVER going back.
(1)Laura B.
First of all, the pizza tastes great. I also love the salads. Also, the service we receive is good. Tonight we went to pick up a pizza that we had ordered online. It wasn't made exactly to order, so when we mentioned it, they made another one immediately and gave them both to us. The employees were very polite and apologetic about it. We will keep coming back to this place!
(5)S B.
Try the Berkley Vegan. It is veg heaven-daiya cheese, veggies and veggie sausage with a nice chewy crust. Oh, and they deliver! Rock on! :)
(4)nic b.
If you like spending $26 on 8 slices of pizza then this is the place for you. We purchased the Gluten free Provence...again...$26. with tip that's about $4 per slice. at least we got that extra long and curly hair someone placed on top to go with it! The flavors were good but i agree with many of the previous reviews that the crust was soggy and after about seven to ten minutes became rock hard. Oh and if you want sauce, be sure to ask for some extra because this was a white pizza for the most part. They seemed to skimp on the toppings to be honest. we jazzed it up with some balsamic and ground pepper and it was pretty good but really...shouldn't they have thought of this for as much as they charge. Also, if you use the word "uber" in your reviews of anything, i stop reading immediately.
(2)Lee B.
Came for lunch. Not very busy but it still took ages to get our small cheese pizza. You'd think it would be excellent given the wait but it was a bland mess of melting cheese. Will not be back.
(1)Rohan P.
Overly greasy pizza with crust burnt on the bottom, but with confusingly undercooked cheese and toppings up above. The ingredients are organic, and the flavors were ok, but really Z Pizza, for these prices you oughta know better. So I'm here...to remind you...of the mess you left there on my plate. It's not fair...to deny me...of the crust you baked and you gave to me.... You...You...You. Oughta Know.
(2)Ci Deezy C.
I really enjoy this pizza. It's not for you if all you want is a cheap, greasy pizza with cheap toppings, but if you really enjoy fresh, organic food or maybe something a little different, I think you will enjoy this. My favorite is the Mexican pizza. LoooooOve it. It's got chicken and avocados - huge plus, but I suspect it's the sour cream that gives it its distinctive flavor. Recently also tried the American pizza with coworkers and our boss said he isn't a real big fan of pizza and hasn't had a decent pizza in a long time but this pizza was pretty good! This is a "pretty good" compliment coming from him. I think his opinion relates mostly to the quality of the ingredients not so much as to whether this is pizza beats other pizzas hands down. The flavors are more "gourmet" and the price is definitely high but I like this pizza and have come back to buy this pizza several times.
(4)N S.
I've decided to simply plagiarize Mic's review: it's ok when you are really hungry. nothing special other than that it is organic. Thanks, Mic.
(2)A. B.
The pizza was underdone. The vegetables were basically raw and the crust was gooey. There were no paper towels in the restroom. I should have gone to Noodles & Co or Chipotle.
(2)Joe H.
I really love how you can uber-customize and order all kinds of unique toppings online as well as choosing your crusts and sauces. A great system. Not crazy about the prices but with higher quality ingredients, it goes with the territory. For vegans/vegetarians, the lactose intolerant and just folks curious about eating healthier or more consciously, I suggest trying their non-dairy vegan cheese product along with their spiced veggie burger topping. You might be surprised to see how far along the vegan cheeses have come in the last couple years. Not sure if all the Z Pizzas carry vegan cheese but this location does and the two times I've eaten it, it was fantastic. Delivery was fast too.
(5)Devi J.
I was really excited about this place because of all the options you can't get elsewhere...wheat crust, vegan cheese, organic toppings. The food was good, but not OMG this is so great good. I think I would have to try it again to make solid judgement, but it's expensive. We used a rest.com coupon and we still spent alot. We ate in and the AC wasn't fixed still. It was really hot and took away from the experience.
(2)Zachary H.
Service is ok, but the pizza is simply terrible. Very soggy and not nearly enough flavor. Very disappointed. You get what you pay for, I guess. If you're in the area and hungry, go to Chic-a-Filet or Fuddruckers instead! This is some of the worst pizza I have ever had in DC.
(1)Michael M.
They have creative styles and varieties... but they are not made to order, so...good pizza served badly... is just "ok" pizza And like most downtown SS establishments...the staff can get a bit confused sometimes... but they are on the friendlier end of the spectrum, so just be prepared for a minor headache Although, tip of the hat... they do have a great selection for vegetarians, which is more than i can say for some places (looking at you "flipp'n pizza")
(3)Travis M.
Believe it or not, this rating is not based on the 2 hours I had to wait for delivery. The one star stems from the fact that the pizza has absolutely no flavor. I ordered two different pizzas (neither of which was cheap, btw) and both tasted exactly the same, flavorless. The pies texture was nice enough, fluffy dough about the consistency of pita bread. But the problem was that nothing, not the cheese, not the vegetables, not the meats (how do you make a flavorless sausage?) had a distinct flavor . The crust was the most overpowering flavor, and that is not saying much. I also had a sub, which tasted ok, if you like bread and mayo (which I hate to admit, I kinda do). For the money, nothing was worth it. Whole foods has much better pizza and it's practically next door.
(1)Scott S.
Their pizza is good, especially because they have a decent whole wheat crust and good, low-fat cheese. But the prices are high and delivery can take up to two hours on a weekend night. If you're going to pick up, it's worth it. But don't call for delivery unless you're prepared to wait.
(3)Sarah O.
It's not the best pizza that I have had, but not really the worst either. We had a $10 off coupon from restaurant.com , so I guess I can't complain about spending $13 for an XL pizza and soda. We got the Tuscan pizza, but hold the mushrooms (I'm not a fungi fan!). The pizza itself was decent but had far too many onions on it that were only lightly sauteed (as described on the menu). I'm not a fan of feeling the crunch of an onion on my pizza. I think next time I'll stick with either plain or pepperoni pizza.
(3)Garry C.
I am completely shocked by the poor reviews! I have really grown to love ZPizza. I have grown to love it even more now that I learned they deliver (trouble, big trouble). The boyf and I had been here for carry-out once. We got the ZBQ Pizza which I thought was really good. I love BBQ chicken pizza and this is on par with CPK. We did have to wait FOREVER for our pizza, but last weekend when we got delivery it was super fast. We got the amazing Mexican pizza topped with all my favs including avocado! So delicious. Maybe it was just like a quesadilla, but it was tasty, fast, and filling so I couldn't have been happier.
(4)Laura W.
What kind of self-respecting pizza place stops delivering after 8pm? Zee pizza here, eet sounds good een theory. Zee toppings are better than zee, ah, Domeenos, or zee uh, Pizza Hut. Zhey offer you zee "fresh" toppings like zee vegetables. But Zee Pizza, eet fails miserably een eets execution. Zee portions are small. Zee pizza, eet eez a leettle lopsided. And zee clientele should be eating baby food, not solid food. Alas, we cannot even gaze upon that erstwhile mainstay of Seelver Spring anymore from zee windows of Zee Pizza: Zee turf field.
(2)Megan T.
Best pizza I've found- love the option for whole wheat crust and a wide variety of toppings (with some being organic). The pizza isn't greasy and you actually feel good eating it (doesn't taste like junk food but has a fantastic flavor). On the downside, the customer service could use some improvement and it would be great if they were open later. Prices are a bit high so we usually wait until there's a coupon available.
(4)Alex O.
Average pizza at Cadillac prices. We ordered three extra large's for a party and with tip for the driver, it ended up costing $75. Are you kidding me?!?!? The pizza was a bit better than what you might get from Pizza Movers or Armand's...but it wasn't that much better, and honestly, Domino's IS better. Organic ingredients? Okay, if you like to support organic food with a huge wad of cash, then go for it, but IMO it did nothing to make this pizza any better than any other delivery pizza. Truth be told, I can think of a few frozen pizza brands that make a better pie. Don't waste your money. If you want good-but-nothing-special delivery pizza then you're better off with Armand's or Domino's in the Silver Spring area.
(1)Rob K.
Oh, Z Pizza, I had much hope. I've been over charged on toppings, gotten the wrong toppings outright, and waited far longer than expected for your delivery man to show. I'll admit, I've only had two things here -- the pizza and calzones. Of that, I'd stay away from the pizza, way too much cost for something a bit larger than a personal pan at Pizza Hut. Better than other chain pizza shops in that it's less greasy, but that's of little help when the crust is burnt black. A calzone from here, when done well, is pretty good. I love that I can fill it with whatever I want from their ample ingredient selection. Alas, my frequency of getting one done right is few and far between. The whole place seems very hit or miss by way of quality.

Update: The A/C is now going strong in the dining area; and no problems using the coupon on my receipt -- +1 star! (PS: Be kind to the employees - as with any restaurant, the kitchen still gets very hot.) *** Pros: fast, tasty, organic pizza with gluten-free, vegan, and other options Cons: no A/C since summer started, pricey Workarounds for the Cons: - Get the pizza to go. - Go on Tuesdays ... buy an XL at regular price, get a M for $5. - Look for the $5 off $20 coupon on the bottom of your receipt ... no expiration date ... though one staff member likes to balk at older receipts. (Even a 2 month-old receipt is considered old -- may be -- but it's still legitimate.)

Holy Teen's Night Out, Batman. I went here on a Friday night and there were multiple groups of teenagers, tweens, and children. It seems like the place to be if you're having a sleepover in Silver Spring. I was hungry so I could have eaten my hat and thought it was scrumptious but the pizza here was just not memorable. If you're picky about you're pizza, you'd be better off at Red Rocks or 2 Amys. If you want a hungry before a movie and don't want to pay outrageous prices at the Majestic, it will suffice. It seems like Z Pizza is trying to convince you that they're original or somehow doing something new, but don't be fooled, they aren't. It kind of reminds me of Pete's in Columbia Heights, but without the niche of "New Haven" style pizza. You order at the counter and they bring it to the table. Soft drinks are self serve. Call me spoiled, but I like table service.

Blech. I mean seriously... the ONLY reason I ate here is because my entire office ordered from here today. Not being a pizza fan I thought I'd have a salad.. but at the last minute changed my mind and switched it to the "Pollo Latino" sandwich.. What a mistake. The bread: day old (or so it seemed) dry, hard. The chicken: terribly salty and CLEARLY prepared to go on top of a pizza as it was cubed in tiny little....cubes. The avacado was only saved because they didn't do anything to it but slice it. The lettuce and tomato seemed like an after thought.. overall my lunch satisfaction rating today is a big fat zero. Z Pizza joins the list of places from which I'd rather not eat again.

Burnt on the bottom, undercooked toppings and cheese, holey dough (from being manually aerated I guess), sopping with grease. I think they just need to leave the pizza in the oven for another 10 minutes at a lower temperature. When I came here for dinner with my boyfriend last Friday night, this place was teeming with highschoolers (the loud, rowdy obnoxious kind). It was also un-airconditioned which made for a not so great dining experience. Luckily there was a Cold Stone next door which kind of saved our evening.

I don't know what prompted me to dine at Z Pizza. I tune out during their radio commercials and I never bothered to venture down Ellsworth to look at their menu. I wanted pasta, but I've already tried Noodles and Company on the same street. At Z Pizza I ordered their Penne with Chipotle Pesto (without chicken sausage). Curtis had their 2 slice with fountain beverage special ($5.95), which was a good deal. Their pizza was pretty decent. The dough was a little too thin and crisp (cooked in an electric oven that tries to replicate a wood-burning hearth), but it had good consistency with the cheese and sauce. My pasta was also okay. I thought the chipotle pesto was slightly creative, but it was still a little bland. The leftovers tasted better with hot sauce. I didn't like the seating arrangement here though. There weren't enough spaces between the tables so Curtis and I had to sit side by side. Z Pizza is more vegetarian friendly than some of its next door restaurants. They offer soy cheese pizza, salads, and one vegetarian sandwich. The "Yuppie Veggie Sandwich" is a slight misnomer. If it's supposed to be funny, it's not. One doesn't have to be middle class or preppy to eat a vegetarian sandwich. Oh well, I'd take that over "Hippie Soybeaner Sandwich". Just an observation.

Good pizza! Cashier recommended that I buy a slice of BBQ chicken pizza which has sweet baby rays bbq sauce, corn, onion, tomatoes because it was her favorite. I will have to agree with her because it was delicious. I'm not a fan of tomatoes on my pizza but it complimented the overall taste. Friendly service, great location.

***edit 2/22/10****** I don't know if its new management or what but the pizzas are really inconsistent now. Overall not a bad bet still, especially if you consider it's relatively healthy for what you're eating. There's a flippin' pizza that opened up down the street, that is by far superior in mimicking NYC style pizza (even though the companies from Colorado or something). They have a lot of coupons so it's still worth a look if you take the discount. **************************************************Â** I stop by here at least 3 times a week after work to pick up a quick dinner. That's the bachelors life for ya. The quality of the pizza is always fresh and good and the premade slices I pick up after work remind me of the slices I used to get in NYC as a kid. This from a pizza that supposedly uses skim milk mozerella and organic ingredients, sure tastes like it's not healthier, but it is. I like that they put out variety too, instead of just standard cheese and pepperoni all the time. For a quick bite of good pizza, especially with kids, this is a can't miss stop.

2.5 stars. Ugh. I hate writing these lukewarm reviews. Z Pizza is similar to California Pizza Kitchen (as one other reviewer also mentioned), but instead of a sit-down restaurant, it's more in the style of a regular old pizza place. They put interesting toppings on their pizza and they have a wide range of preset combinations to choose from. Everything is organic and the mozzarella is made from skim milk. So all this sounds really good, right? Wellll...not so much. I had the Moroccan pizza (pesto, eggplant, feta, mozzarella, and pine nuts), but I found it very greasy and salty. They were kind of stingy with the toppings, too, giving me long, thin slivers of eggplant instead of chunks, like 5 pine nuts, and a couple crumbles of feta. The inside of the restaurant was a disaster, too. All the tables were filthy and a few of the 6 or 7 employees there were just standing around behind the counter. The whole restaurant just looked like a nice place that hadn't been taken care of at all. So, would I eat at Z again? Maybe. I'm interested in trying out some of their other pizzas, but I wouldn't hurry back.

The best part about this place was it was mostly empty so the kids could run around and be loud and not disrupt dinner for the other guests. My wife, son and I were meeting extended family while we were in DC and Silver Spring MD was halfway for both of us. An hour on the metro for us and an hour and a half drive for them. The reasons behind this place were: 1. Pizza 2. Gluten Free 3. Close to the Metro station The food was ok, nothing to write home about, expensive but enjoyable. The gluten free pizza crust was sweet, don't know exactly what they used but it was enjoyable. A decent place, but not a most have
(2)Neil S.
I just moved to Silver Spring and this place will not be my go-to delivery place. Need to keep looking. The calzones need a lot of work.
(3)Stephanie P.
Okay first of all, the pizza is probably a 2 or 3, but the people and service here SUCK. Its been a while since I dealt with more rude, more miserable people. I came here for dinner with a friend and we had a thoroughly delicious pizza. But then I got home, and discovered my card had been charged an extra $8. Now, $8 isn't very much--but when my total should have been $21 and I was charged $29? That's a problem for me. I don't live in Silver Spring so dropping by would be fairly difficult so I called. And I called. And I called. No one ever answered during regular business hours. I finally got in touch with the manager--a nasty nasty woman who told me it was my bank charging me an extra $8 and once the charge went through the extra $8 would disappear since it was a bank charge. I tried to explain why I knew this to be incorrect but got nowhere. Lo and behold, they did not, and when the charge went through I was overcharged. I happened to be in Silver Spring the following week and tried to speak with a manager to get my refund. None were available. (what a shock.) I explained the situation to the person behind the counter (heatedly, I admit) who looked at me incredulously, then argued with me there was nothing he could do and finally just about laughed at me and finally took $8 out of the drawer and handed it to me and I walked out. **EDIT: To be clear, this was NOT a bank error but actually ZPizza overcharging me.** The customer service after they made an error was simply appalling. I wont ever be going back here simply because of their staff.

Considering the severe lack of decent pizza in the DC Metro area, I don't think that this place is 1/2 bad. My friend and I quite enjoyed the Tuscan Pizza. The Truffle oil really adds a nice touch to a white pizza. I didn't try any "standard" pizza's such as plain cheese or pepperoni, but I don't imagine they would be anything special or worth the prices they charge. If you go here, spring for a specialty, it'll be more worth the money. I think a large specialty cost us about 22$ with 2 fountain drinks. The biggest problem I saw was the customer service. The workers are less than enthusastic. This place has potential, but a change of staff may be necessary.
(3)Brian F.
The place had pretty good service, the pizza was pretty good, but the restaurant was hot, noisy, and a little dirty in the dining area. I would go back, but just not during a busy time. We had the white pizza and a pizza with tomatoe slices on top. I can suggest going if you are dressed real casual and can find a quiet seat.
(3)Pat R.
Pizza was ok I had the ZBBQ. The AC was not working and there was a leak. The restaurant was a mess after we ordered the cashier took it upon himself to clean up a bit. The cashier had no customer service skills and same goes for the young lady that was making the pizzas. I used to go there a couple of years ago. Looks like the place is going down hill for the worst. Maybe management has changed? I don't know but I will not be returning to that place again. I guess management really need to look into who they hire because the two people that were working there just did not want to be there.

This is a nice place to go to if you're looking for a pizza place similar to California Pizza Kitchen without the waiter service. It's less formal than CPK, but somehow a little trendier - like a stripped down Starbucks of pizza places. They've got a pretty wide selection of cool pizzas - I particularly liked the ZBQ (it's a barbecue chicken pizza lavished with other toppings). The price range is appropriate and you get what you pay for. They also have a pretty unique selection of salads and sandwiches, but I didn't get to try them. Go to Z Pizza if you're looking for a low-pressure place to sit down and eat a pretty tasty pizza. It'll satisfy.
(3)M C.
I went back and used the second groupon. This time around, I tried another rustica pizza and an order of their pesto penne. Again, the food was good (though I thought the penne was kind of bland, especially for pesto). It was tasty and I could see myself taking up one of their mid-week offers. We'll just have to wait and see.
(3)Terri B.
Love ZPizza!! The Berkely vegan pizza is amazing!! I'll be back for that for sure, and can't wait to try other vegan options. Thanks for being vegan friendly!!
(5)Sean H.
They failed to deliver my pizza and when I called in to ask whereabouts my pizza was they said the driver showed up, no one answered so they called, no one answered, they they gave up and closed. none of what they say they did actually took place, they just didn't deliver my pizza because it was near closing time.
(1)Brian W.
Best pizza joint I've found in the Silver Spring / Takoma Park area. There's a great menu selection especially for vegetarians as the Berkeley offers soy cheese and veggie burger crumbles as an option. The veggie options are extensive too with zucchini, kalamata olives, and eggplant as choices. There's the classic pizza available too. Oh the wheat crust is tasty too. Good job to the Z.
(4)C. I. M.
Nothing special. When there once with a friend. Those teenagers/ college kids you see working there were the potheads in my high school. Bleh.
(2)Nan W.
The good reviews are just mystifying. Z pizza's so salty, I thought I was dying! If this is a notch above Pizza Hut, The notch is tiny. 2Amys, it's not. If you've left the movies and crave a good pie, Take my advice - pass Z Pizza by.
(2)Mike W.
We ordered the margarita Pizza and a pasta dish. When the pasta came out it was over cooked, and missing 3 ingredients. When they say Z Pizza they mean all they can cook is pizza. That pasta was horrible, I brought it up and they did'nt even know what the menu said and instantly gave my money back for the pasta. the pizza on the other hand was'nt that bad. I'm a picky NY pizza eater and actually did'nt mind it. The main reason I gave it 2 stars is because the place was pretty dirty, " I had to clean the table off and wash it because it seemed like no one came around all day to wash the tables" and the Pasta stunk.
(2)Mic X.
it's ok when you are really hungry. nothing special other than that it is orgainic.
(2)vincent b.
Pizza was delivered fairly quickly (bout 35 minutes) durring snowmageddon, which I think is pretty good. The pizza was not the most flavorful I have ever tasted, but it was good and fresh and I felt good about feeding it to my son (because it is more healthy than many brands). Overall I am very happy with z-pizza and will order from them again.
(4)Jonathan C.
Meh...Meh...Meh..............Edible I guess. Fast food pizza that makes you think it is organic goodness. Pretty basic domino's style fast food pizza, go to Vace's.
(2)Leeda M.
It's an okay pizza. I don't know if I would pay the prices for this pizza again. I mean flavorless sauce, sausage that I would get from any chain pizza store doesn't inspire me to pay $25 bones for a large pizza. Darn it, I'm looking for a decent pizza place in this town.
(2)James B.
Decent place, albeit no ambience to speak of - it's a takeout/pizza joint. You go for the pizza, not the decor. We've eaten there once, and the pizza we had was... okay. Quite a bit too greasy and hard to eat, not the way we tend to prefer pizzas. Very fresh tasting ingredients though. We'd still try it again and see if it was better the second time around.
(3)Fawn B.
Pizza is decent, with a variety of cool toppings. Crust is thin. Whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. The people who work there must have cheese for brains because they never get your order right over the phone. One time, they totally forgot to send someone out to deliver it! Best thing to do is go there, order your pizza, and stand there and wait for it. Or order it, run next door to the ice cream store, then walk back to pick it up. Pizza is more expensive than Domino's, Pizza Hut, and all those other American crap pizza parlors, but it's worth the extra few bucks. One other complaint....too many of their specialty pizzas don't use red sauce, so ask for it and they'll put it on, but remember, don't ask for it over the phone...the half brainers won't remember it.
(2)Koral S.
A "healthy" pizza place ... I'm impressed with. This place is good for delivery and alternative pizza options (vegan/gluten free). Very tasty and good combo suggestions. I've had the buffalo chicken, santa fe and cheese pizzas and also the chicken sausage and arugula flat bread. I enjoyed them all.

The women are setting up for an event for a Silver Spring outdoor festival, yet they were very attentive to me. They asked what I wanted while multitasking, kept me up to date on my order status, and we're extremely courteous. Will definitely go back just for the service.
(4)Aarti B.
Z is the grade I would give the pizza, beyond an F. If only the pizza tasted as good as the pictures. Lured by the pictures outside, I decided to give the pizza a try. I saw a fresh pizza pie being put out, so I decided to go with the combination deal (a slice of the veggie and 1/2 a veggie sandwich). Although the pizza was served nice and warm, it was okay, nothing special. The bottom of the slice wasn't crispy like the photos depicted, it wasn't cooked. The baguette was as cold as ice and hard as a brick. The balsamic vinaigrette overpowered the veggies. I took two bites and threw away the sandwich. $6 later, I was left disappointed and hungry and headed over to Chipotle.

Shout out to Vern for the amazing "Buffacue" Wings!! My mouth has finally returned to normal(: Appreciate Joseph and the rest of the staff for great customer service! The Greek pizza is awesome!

Okay this is a long one, and one I'd hoped I would never have to post. I'm posting it here now because I've exhausted every other avenue of resolving the issue, right down to the BBB of Greater Washington DC. In short: ZPizza (Silver Spring) failed to deliver order, promised a refund, then never refunded the order, despite numerous requests. In long (c/p from BBB complaint that zPizza never responded to): On Sunday, 9/21/14, at approx 7:30pm, I ordered delivery of pizza, salad, and wings from Z Pizza Silver Spring, MD location. I was given a delivery time of 45 minutes to 1 hour. After an hour and 15 minutes, I called to check on the status of the order and was told that the delivery driver was on his way back to the store to pick up my order, and that it would be there soon. It never arrived. At 10pm, I received a call from an employee claiming to be a manager, who called herself Kayra. Kayra informed me that the driver had had an "incident" and would be unable to deliver the order. She said that it she would refund my order and that if I called back in the morning, they would also send me dinner on them. We were still hungry and nothing else was open by then, so I asked if I could come in and pick it up. She said yes. I arrived at the Silver Spring location 10 minutes later and took the order. Kayra said she had ALREADY cancelled the transaction on my credit card and apologized profusely. We got home with the order and it was not fit to eat after all after sitting on hot plates for 2 hours (the salad was hot and the pizza was hard). We threw it out and skipped dinner. The following Friday (9/26/14), I checked my credit card account and saw that the charge was still there and had cleared my account. I called the store asking for Kayra or a manager, and was told, by another woman (who also claimed to be a manager) that she would reverse the charge right away. She took my credit card number and said she would issue the refund that day. A week later (10/3/14), it still had not been refunded. I called again and spoke to yet another "manager" who said her general manager came in that afternoon and he would refund it. I gave them my credit card number yet again for this refund and this time asked for them to email me a receipt confirmation that the refund was completed. She took my email address and I never heard from them again. Again, on 10/10/14, I called and repeated my credit card number for a refund to be processed. It did not come through. On 10/20/14, at ~11:00am EST, I called the headquarters office (3300 Irvine Avenue, Suite 225, Newport Beach, CA, 92660, 949-200-7902) and received voicemail. I left a voicemail explaining the situation and saying that this had been going on for a month and that I was getting angry. I asked for them to call me back right away to resolve the issue. Three weeks later, no one had returned my call. I also tried again the following week, hoping to not get voicemail, but even at 2pm PST, I got voicemail. I was so frustrated by this point that I just hung up. I contacted the BBB at this point; by then it had been nearly 2 months and my order was still not yet refunded nor had zPizza made any attempts at resolving this. BBB just closed my complaint without resolution because zPizza failed to respond to 3 attempts for resolution. So I'm posting here now. Yeah it was only $36, but $36 is groceries for me for an entire week, so that splurge I made with the intent to have a nice easy dinner with my long distance bf who was leaving the next morning (several states away in grad school currently) was a big expense for me. It mattered to me, and zPizza's customer service is BEYOND awful.

So, zpizza has a special place in my heart. As a previous resident of the sunny state of California and a lactose intolerant foodie, pizza can be a very tricky battle. Zpizza has a dairy free cheese and vegan meat substitutes (not sure what those are, don't worry about it). I therefore come here when I need my pizza fix. On a recent visit to this location I checked in and was presented with a coupon for $20 for $40 worth of food. Bet! I had just realized that their chicken is hormone and antibiotic free (don't worry about it), and wanted to try the wings. So, I got a vegan pizza, a salad and wings. $40. Sweet! I come in with the coupon and after speaking with the manager who stated "I don't know where you got that coupon, I put all of the coupons up and have never seen that one". I proceeded to show him the coupon, through my yelp app (woop!). He continued to deny the coupon. I explained to him that the coupon is available nearly everyday (as I sometimes stalk the yelp site to decide if I want to order, don't judge!). He eventually gave it to me. I am constantly annoyed by bad customer service. And trying to discredit a customer that has the proof in her hand is very unnerving. I need to find a different location because I believe that was ridiculous. I see the coupon every time I look at the site (which is much less frequent now, lol) Ps, the food was delicious, but I had a bad taste in my mouth from this whole experience (you like how I just did that play on words? Food, taste, anyway). If you can bypass the manager, the service is good. The cashier and the cook were both friendly and pleasant, but the manager...meh!

This review is specifically for the zpizza in Silver Spring. The one in Alexandria is awesome. The Silver Spring location is beyond terrible. I have tried to order from this location several times. The first time I called and could barely hear the person on the phone. She advised I was on speaker phone because the handset didn't work and then proceeded to complain about her job and the management before asking for my order. She expected me to give my credit card over speaker phone at the register of a restaurant. Nope. Another time it took literally 2 1/2 hours to receive my order and it was wrong when I finally got it. I ordered whole wheat crust and got plain. I called. They don't have whole wheat crust there. So beware if you order online - you get whatever they have, I suppose. zpizza as a franchise is awesome - wonderful menu and great food, but the Silver Spring location takes a great franchise and turns it into a disaster. Avoid.

I don't know how in the world this place gets anything less than five stars from people. I think re naysayers must be the kind of people who love Pizza Hut...or maybe it's Pizza Hut leaving those bad reviews... Either way, this is my FAVORITE pizza place. I ate here before I found out I had a gluten allergy and was stoked to find out they have a g-free crust. I've honestly had the gluten-free crust at almost every pizza joint in and around DC. This is easily the best. The toppings are great too, I always go for the mushroom. And I love the sauce. The salads are great, I remember the subs being good too. Z Pizza for lyfe.
(5)Renee' H.
Just ordered delivery Zpizza using the yelp $20 for $40 coupon. I wanted to try it for a while but the prices kept me away for a while. I had to order by phone--as there is no way to put in the yelp coupon online. I ordered a large american, small mexican pizza, and six buffalo wings, which would have normally been $42 total (with delivery and tax). Pros: The delivery was only about 45 minutes on a Friday night. The mexican pizza was AWESOME!! I would definitely order it again and again. Finally, the wings are baked (well at least a little). They seem to have been fried before hand (like an hour ago) and warmed up in the oven. But they were good enough, even though the sauces are limited to just bbq and buffalo. Cons: The large american pizza had a lot of toppings. I wish there were a few less toppings (crazy, I know). Because it was overcrowded with raw veggies and so it wasn't hot. The mexican pizza was missing the avocado. The crust is not crunchy (at least when you get it delivered). I will definitely order this pizza again (especially with a coupon). Did I mention that I loved the mexican pizza?
(4)Steph R.
First off, the pizzas taste good. They're not Pete's, but definitely better than Dominos or the likes. BUT: delivery absolutely sucks. It takes them an hour and half the time you get a wrong order, and then you have to wait another hour to get your complete order at the dinner table. So much for pizza night! Bye-bye Z, hello Pete!
(2)Vic M.
I just had a slice of veggie. It was okay. It was too cheesy, not very flavorful. Maybe there was less salt, but I am not sure. I think it was lacking sauce, but was somehow very juicy all over my shirt :/. The decor is fresh and very designed, but the menu is hard to read from afar. I should have tried a salad instead. Moment of weakness. I don't think I can recommend this pizza. It didn't hit the spot. I've had good pizza and I was disappointed. But, not too many options nearby that don't include meat. If I ever have to eat here again, I will review the salads.
(3)Amanda C.
Just went into the store and placed a to-go order without realizing they offered a take-and-bake option. I had already paid for my order when I went back up to the counter to ask if I can get the take-and-bake option. The man at the counter was super helpful and switched my order. Because it costs less to get the take-and-bake pizza and because he was new, we had to wait for the manager to help straighten out the charges. They hand me the pizza and it's not what I ordered. They had to start over but it only takes them three minutes to remake the take-and-bake, which was made exactly like I wanted it. The manager gets back, charges are reversed, everything is great. I get home and pop my vegan Santa Fe pizza in the over. It's SOOOO delicious. Thanks zPizza for the great customer service and phenomenal pizza!

This restaurant is fantastic if you like to order and pay for left-overs. We live relatively close. We ordered delivery because we were watching a movie. And it was raining. Great decision on our part. Because there's nothing better than waiting over an hour and forty minutes for delivery of a pizza that takes seven minutes to bake. When we called to inquire why it was taking so effing long, we repeatedly got an automated message that said "sorry, high call volume." So we actually went to the restaurant see what the deal was, only to find a grand total of 3 customers already eating and girl behind the counter texting. "Uh, we didn't get your order," she said. "Are you sure? Check your list again," we said. "Oh yeah," she said, "it went out with the driver 15 minutes ago." Sure enough, we arrived home before the pizza arrived. Why? Because the driver dropped off a bunch of pizzas in Kensington first. Yes, Kensington. A totally different city. Not just down the road, like we are. Also, when we called back 1.5 hours after ordering, she told us our pizzas were on the way before even asking our name. Funny how that works. This is how you order a pizza from just down the road and then have to microwave it before eating it.
(1)Merlyn R.
This has become my favorite pizza place in downtown Silver Spring. The staff is very friendly, the pizza is great and I've never found a wait. The only issue is during one visit they had run out of tomatoes (told me they just had a huge order that used up their supply... at 12:45p on a weekday?!), but the waitress offered me a free salad while we waited for more tomatoes to arrive. The crust is fantastic, and the ingredients seem very fresh. My kids love their simple cheese pizza while I adore their Napoli. Highly recommend!
(4)k c.
What has happened? This place used to be great. I'm sure everyone in Silver Spring must feel the same way. Then, about a year and a half ago you could see the quality of service and food dwindling. It started with mistakes made in orders, no extra sauce when requested, hardly any toppings, and ended with my most recent request when I was told there was no delivery available because their delivery guy had not come in. And I was informed of this fact forty-five minutes after I had placed my online order . . . in short, about fifteen minutes from when my food was to arrive.
(1)Ritzie C.
Delivery time on a Tuesday night? 2 hours. Friendliness of the person who answered the phone when I called for delivery status? Non-existent. Well no, that's not true. I give her credit because ... she answered the phone ... sooooo ... there's that. What the hell, ZPizza? It's Tuesday. I'm starving and pregnant and I also have two kids and a husband to feed. I called an hour after the order was placed and was told "It's leaving for delivery right now." This is absolutely unacceptable and there was no apology or explanation. Mark my words. I will NEVER order from here again, you screw ups.
(1)A S.
UPDATE: Zpizza has a pretty interesting business model. The past several times I have tried to order during their business hours their online site was not allowing me to order and they never answer their phones. LIKE, EVER. I have tried calling on three different occasions to order pizza, all three times between 5pm and 7pm, and after dialing multiple times they never pick up. Just today I called at intervals for nearly 20 minutes. Basically, it is impossible to actually get through and order. I feel like I'm in some kind of Kafka novel. They do not want your business, so don't even try. My advice: Just order from one of the other great places in Silver Spring since, well, you won't get through to Zpizza, anyway.
(1)Rachel E.
Three times now I've ordered via eat 24 and they've called to say they have no drivers. The lady who calls is terse on the phone and I had to wait forever to get a credit card refund because they charged me each time. I'm taking my business elsewhere. I have ordered more than enough times to see that their quality and customer service has completely gone from 10 down to a paltry 1. It's not smart business acumen to take customers for granted nor to not have appropriate staff during peak hours. Too bad because the pizza and salads used to be delicious.
(1)Michael K.
Delivery was timely, and the pizza was pretty good, but for this kind of premium expense, I expect at least a passable level of customer service. When I noticed moments after the delivery driver left that I had been delivered a diet Pepsi instead of a regular Pepsi, I attempted to call the store. They simply will not answer their phone. They will never again have my business.
